Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn and Raven were asked on a mission by Towa, and you both accepted. You two, along with Future Chaya and Mira, were all sent to the world of Theros with the goal of acquiring the mythical weapon Godsend. You battled a trio of gods in the land of Nyx, wounding them with the combined powers of your Berserker transformation and your Stand. Having defeated the trio of gods you acquired the weapon from it’s owner, then went back through the portal to Theros. Seeing your daughter at the mercy of Ace’s ‘Super Saiyan Blue’ power, you unleashed your full power as well, combining your Berserk power with the demonic ki Towa granted you. You defeated Ace easily, then once back at Towa’s lab you collapsed for three straight days. Upon waking, Towa warned Karn of the dangers of applying her demonic powers to his Berserk power, stating the energy consumption would kill you. As we rejoin Karn, Towa has just asked Raven a very important question.

“Are you ready to begin?” Towa asks.
“Ye-“ Raven stammers, then closes her eyes and takes a calming breath, looking Towa in the eyes. “Yes.”
“Excellent. Let us begin the preparations.” Towa says to her, then turns to you. “This process will take us some time. Chaya, why don’t you show Karn to your training room?”
“YEAH!! Future Chaya says excitedly, grabbing you by the arm. “C’mon, c’mon, you gotta see it! It’s suuuper cool, Auntie Towa’s got all sorts’a cool trainin’ stuff!”
“Sure, let’s go.” you say, noticing Towa’s irritated glare that Chaya is purposefully ignoring. You chuckle as you’re pulled along, almost dragging you along until she comes to a pair of two foot thick doors made of maybe Katchin, your daughter easily pushing them both open.

“Tadaaa!!” she says, showing off her training room. Or rather, traning stadium. The facility is huge, a cube several hundred feet to a side. She leads you inside, you noticing several doors with unfamiliar writing above each, as well as somewhat familiar-looking controls by the door you came in. It looks like a gravity control panel, but considering Towa built this place, it probably does quite a bit more. You pry your eyes from the training room back to your daughter, who’s looking expectantly up at you.

“Wow.” you say, sufficiently awed. You weren’t sure what you expected, but you never imagined her training room looked quite like this. “I’m impressed, this place is seriously amazing. No wonder you got so strong kiddo. C’mon, show your old man how to use these things.”
“Yeah, yeah! C’mon let’s go!” she shouts excitedly, grabbing your hand and pulling you further into the room. As she shows you machine after machine, contraption after contraption, you realize your own training up to this point has been rather basic. You’re still training in the exact same ways taught to you by your father Tatsu back on Planet Vegeta when you were a boy. And despite the gravity in her training room being equal to New Salda’s, within an hour of trying out a few of the different machines, you’re already tired. It doesn’t make any sense to you, you’ve pushed yourself past your limits in far greater gravities than this. What’s going on?

“Ha-Hang on. A minute.” you pant out to Chaya, having done sets of strenuous excercise on over a dozen machines. She’d set the weights on the machines you tested far down from her own marks. “Are these. Machines. Really this. Strenuous?”
“No, not really.” she says. “You told me when I was little I had to train different ways. You said if you do the same workouts over and over, you quit gettin’ stronger.”
“Seems like I was a pretty smart guy in your time.” you say, tiredly ruffling Future Chaya’s hair. She smiles, but before she can say anything, the moment is interrupted.

“Mistress Chaya, Karn.” Churai says, suddenly appearing in the room right next to you both. You jump a bit in surprise, while Future Chaya doesn’t seem bothered at all. Must be a common occurrence. “Mistress Towa requests your presence. It is done.”
“Is Raven okay?” you ask, rising up to your feet anxiously, tiredness forgotten.
“Towa will explain everything to you.” she says, holding out a hand. You and Chaya share a look, grabbing the android’s hand. And the three of you are no longer in the training room, instead in what appears to be a medical facility.
“Good, you’re both here.” Towa says, turning to the both of you. You see Raven laying on a table, seemingly asleep. “The procedure was a success, when Raven awakens she will have access to her empath powers.”
“Thanks Towa.” you say, stepping forward and embracing Towa. For a moment she freezes up, then tentatively embraces you back. “This really means a lot to me, she lost her powers because I asked her to help. Thank you.”

“So Daddy can’t stay at all?” Chaya asks Towa, the demon looking at the disappointment in your future daughter’s face and sighing out reluctantly.

“Alright, you can both stay here for a little while.” Towa says, Chaya squealing excitedly. Your daughter grabs and lifts both you and Towa in her arms, you both pressed uncomfortably close together. After a few moments, Chaya sets you both down, bouncing slightly in excitement. “But Karn, you have to get dressed.”

“Sure, sure.” you say, not worried about it yet. There’s nothing for you to wear here, after all. “But how long will we be able to stay? I need to prepare for the Arbiter, and I’m sure Raven would love to study under such a talented sorceress.”
“I, well, not to brag, but..” she says, still blushing. “Alright, you both can stay. For a little while at least. But how long are you looking to stay?”

“How long?” you repeat, thinking it over. You’ll want as much time as you can get, without putting Towa or especially your daughter in danger. But you don’t know enough. “What would you say? What’s the longest you think it would be safe for us to stay without endangering you all?”
“Hmm, let me see.” she says, walking over to a computer. Her fingers fly over the keys, squiggly lines waving as she types lines of that same unfamiliar script. She mutters to herself as she types, you unable to follow her broken ramblings at all. You hear a noise behind you, turning and seeing Raven starting to wake up. She sits up, stretching then rubbing the back of her head.

“Hey Raven, how’re you feeling?” you ask her, the young witch turning groggily towards you.
“Karn?” she asks, looking over at you. She then raises an eyebrow at you. “...You know you’re naked, right?”
“Why does everyone care?” you ask, Churai appearing beside you with a uniform similar to Chaya’s. You get dressed as Towa continues typing, Raven rising up to her feet unsteadily. You catch her as she almost falls, Raven nodding thankfully to you as you stand her back up.

“Three months.” Towa says, turning to back and seeing you holding Raven up. You notice her left eye slightly twitch, but she continues. “As long as you stay no longer than three months, it should be fine.”
“Two should be fine then.” you say. “Don’t want to risk something terrible happening.”
“Karn, what is she talking abo-“ Raven asks, Chaya answering.
“You get to stay!!” she says excitedly.
“Karn made a convincing argument.” Towa says, standing up and walking over to Raven, putting her hand on Raven’s shoulder. “You both will be staying here for a time. Congratulations Raven, I shall be tutoring you myself on magic.”
“Wait, really?” Raven asks, looking between you and Towa.
“Really.” Towa says with a smirk. “I can’t have someone out there using demonic power and not being in control of it. Come, child. I have so much to show you.”

With that Towa takes Raven, leading the young sorceress somewhere else in the compound.

“Two whole months?” Chaya says excitedly, bouncing up and down. “Yay! I get to train with Daddy again!”

These two kind of seem like the same thing. But yeah, working on our base power level training seems for the best. Much as I'd like to work on Berserk or Golden Oozaru we can practice both of those normally, whereas we've got no idea when we'll be able to work on installing similar machines and the like on the ship, and upgrading the gravity chamber. This might be our only chance to work on our base PL for a while. Besides, the training we'd undergo here would be good for future reference. And would be better bonding time then attempting to maintain control of our mind while trying to beat her up as a giant yelling green haired dude or a colossal golden monkey.

We could have picked up training tips before we left, we still have two months normal time to train in and we just wasted our chance for Golden Oozaru training without accidentally everything.

I know, it's disappointing.
If you want to get your idea in, you essentially have to post it first so everyone can see it, even if it's just a reminder of things that had already been talked about or decided on last thread, since everyone seems to just forget.

People rarely come back to check the thread after they post, so they won't change their vote unless there's already discussion going on that might draw them back to check what's being said.

And so, because the idea wasn't posted first and the reasoning properly explained in a simple and easy to understand manner, we lost the chance to get information on how to train golden oozaru and eventually go super saiyan 4 here.

Now we'll probably have to go back to towa and chaya who knows how many threads from now and do more work for her in order to get that information.

There was plenty of time to learn how she trains, and we could have taken that information back with us and continued to benefit from it even after we left.
However, now we simply won't get the information or practical experience in using the golden oozaru form that we can only get from training with chaya, because we focused ENTIRELY on working out with her for some reason.

Either way, we'd have spent the entirety of our time here with chaya, and gotten stronger for it.
Only, with the way the vote went, we lost out on the single most important thing we could have gained from this trip, which can't be gotten anywhere else.

I wanted to stay so we could get ideas for new training to raise our base PL and so we could bond with our daughter, not so we could get a headstart on Golden Oozaru. And I mean, we could work on Golden Oozaru without Chaya anyways? We'd need a higher PL to unlock SSJ4 either way, so the only training we'd be able to do is gaining control of it, which GD said we'd have an easier time doing then, say, Goku did in GT because we're a fully grown adult Saiyan who already have experience going Oozaru. Golden Oozaru is even less dangerous then Berserk anyways, it's much easier to disable, if necessary.

We could work on Golden Oozaru without her, but there's a high chance of us accidentally something unless we manage to pull a Vegeta and just go "lolno." Also, if we're sticking to canon the second we can hold it long enough to regain control, we'd immediately transform into SSJ4.
The problem is are you really willing to risk not being able to control Gold Oozaru outside of Towa's Lair? What if we can't gain control, then we indiscriminately murder everyone, or we go to an uninhabited planet and then blow it up before reverting and immediately passing out. Whoops, we're dead there. This was the best chance we had with the least about of risk of killing us or anyone else we cared about.

“Chaya.” you say, stopping her rambling meltdown. You smile a little inside, something else she inherited from her mother. You grab her by the shoulders, looking her square in the eyes. “You can do this. Don’t try and impress me, or worry about what I’ll think, or anything else. You’re my daughter Chaya. Just be you, and let’s go have some fun.”
“O-Okay.” she says, taking a breath to calm down. “Sorry about that.”
“Don’t be sorry.” you say, taking a fist and noogie-ing her head. “Just relax a bit kiddo. You don’t have to impress me. I’m your dad. I’ll always love you. Now c’mon, let’s get into it.”
“Right!” she says, immediately back to her happy self. She leads you back to the training room, the two of you diving into training.

Over the next two months you spend several hours every day with Chaya, learning all the different ways she worked out to get to her current level. You’re impressed by the sheer volume of workout variety she has memorized, each day a different workout. However, she doesn’t spend every day training. Every five days she trains her body physically, then on the next few she doesn’t, focusing on maintaining her newest transformation. You were confused by this at first, but Chaya explained Towa’s reasoning.

“It’s the most efficient way to train.” Chaya had told you, you both resting that first fifth day. You in your Ascended Super Saiyan form as Chaya lounged around in her Primal Saiyan form(or Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 4, as they’re called by the Time Patrollers). “Auntie Towa helped me figure out the most efficient training method for us Saiyans. And we get the best results giving 100% five days a week, then resting the other two. She studied me for years as I trained, and we figured out the best ways to work out. It turns out our muscles need the rest time to properly build back up, else our growth will grind to a stop.”
“Huh, interesting.” you’d said, tucking that knowledge away for later. So for those two days every week you relax, and just talk with your daughter. She tells you what it was like growing up, both on your ship on the run from the Covenant, and here in Towa’s facility. But while you’re there, training and talking with your daughter isn’t all you spend your time doing.

During your two month stay in Towa’s realm, you learned quite a bit. You learned hundreds of new ways to work out, as well as all about your daughter from another future. You see very little of Towa, her minions and Raven during your stay, this bringing a question to your mind that you ask one day.

“So there’s you and Towa, and I guess Mira and Churai here as well.” you’d said, for the first time unsure. “Is... Is there anyone else here?”
“Nope, just the four of us here.” she’d said unphased, continuing her sets. “We’re almost like our own little happy family.”
“But, don’t you have any other friends?” you’d asked, Chaya tilting her head confused.
“Friends? Uhh, no?” she said to you confused, you feeling a tightness in your chest. But before you can say anything she continues, breaking your heart further. “I haven’t ever really had friends. When I was little, you an’ me, we couldn’t stay anywhere for very long. We were always on the run, the Covenant always trying to hunt you down and kill us. So when I was growing up, I only had you.”
“I’m sorry.” you’d said, stopping. “For putting you through that, and leaving you behind. I’m-“
“Shhh, it’s ok Daddy.” she says, hugging you. “In that timeline you did everything you could for me. I ate when you went hungry, and you even died for me. Just... Just promise me one thing, okay?”
“Name it.” you said seriously, without hesitation.
“When... When you go... You know, back.” she says, swallowing back against the tears. “Keep little me safe. Kill the Arbiter, and give her the life the Covenant, and especially the Time Patrol took away from me.”
“I will.” you promised, giving your daughter a Saiyan salute then hugging her. She hugged back, the two of you then resuming your workout. But all too soon, the two months draw to a close.

“Well well, I must say Karn, I’m impressed.” Towa says as you and Chaya walk into her lab proper, you wearing the training suit you’d shown up to her lab in. Today’s the day. “You’ve grown in these few months.”
“Well, I had really talented help.” you say, hugging your future daughter to you. “Plus, your facilities here are rather impressive. You wouldn’t happen to know if many of those machines exist in my timeline, would you?”
“Of course they do, albeit more primitive versions.” Towa says, Raven coming up and through the floor as her shadow form, quickly returning to her own form. You see she’s dressed in the suit and cloak she arrived in as well, ready to go. “And it would seem that this is farewell, for now.”

You take the robot’s hand, and you’re immediately back to your ship. You look around confused, the Gravity Chamber seeming far smaller than you remember.
“Thanks Chu...rai?” you say, turning to the android only to see she’s already vanished. You then turn to Raven, curious. “So, did it work?”

“Yes.” she says, with a small smile. “She helped my re-unlock my empath abilities, as well as helping me expand my control over my magical powers.”
“That’s good.” you say, smiling to the younger witch. You notice that she’s carrying herself far more confidently than before, you glad Towa was able to help her. “I’m glad she was able help you Raven.”
“Do-Do you think I can go back?” she asks you.
“Of course.” you reply. “I’ve been on a few missions for her already, when she’s ready she’ll ask us back.”
“Oh, okay.” she says, floating over to a wall and through it. You had enjoyed spending that time both training and relaxing with your future daughter, but it’s time to get back to business. You feel the Bloodstone in your left sleeve, it radiating with some of Chaya’s power. It’s not nearly as filled as it was before you drained it, but it is far from empty as well.

As you work on mastering that Berserk form, Meloka trains on her swole form alongside you. Every day after your training is over, you transform into your Ascended Super Saiyan form, working on maintaining it to the fullest of your ability.

As days turn to weeks, and weeks turn to months, you feel your power growing by the day. As both yours and Meloka's strengths grow, you begin feeling more and more confident in your ability to handle the Arbiter. While your main focus is on your own training and preparing for your deathmatch with the Arbiter, other things still go on around you. Chaya continues fighting in the Dreadzone arenas, defeating two powerful Exterminators by the names of Reactor and the Eviscerator. Broly also seemed to begin getting into the mood, taking two Dreadzone events himself. Meanwhile Chilli finally got his own match, you making sure to watch it. He fought in an arena match, keeping himself away from the fighters in the arena as he destroys them with blasts and beams. Chilli is surprisingly popular among Dreadzone's viewers, almost as much as Chaya herself is. But you also make sure to spend time with your twins, telepathically connecting with each of them and trying to teach them their names. They're too young to get it, but that doesn't mean you don't try anyways.

Too soon, however, the two months are up and the day is finally here. Your ship took off days ago, and now it has arrived at Planet Shaar. It's finally time!

"Good luck Karn." Meloka says, your wife flying up and kissing you. You hug your wife and kiss her back, feeling her worry. "Be safe. Please?"
"You go Daddy!" Chaya says, pumping a fist. "Whup that bassard!"

You fly down to the planet's surface, floating above the temple ruins where Meloka and Lord Boros tore the planet's surface with the intensity of their battle. It still looks like a molten hellscape, a fitting place for the Arbiter to meet his end. You feel the Arbiter's ki getting closer and closer, until you see one of the single-man Covenant fighters flying right towards you. You watch as the Arbiter leaps from the vessel, it spiraling out of control and crashing down into the lava below. He flies in front of you, the two of you staring each other down.

"So, here we are." the Arbiter says, glaring at you with his one good eye. "A fitting place, to be your grave."
"This time won't be like the others." you say, popping your neck and knuckles. "I've got your number now. You won't leave this world alive."

“RRRAAAAA!!” you roar, rushing headlong right at the Arbiter. You swing your hammer right at his head, the Arbiter crossing his blades and intercepting your strike. His blades strike the hammer’s haft, surprisingly not cutting it through. However, in the air he can’t mitigate the full power of your strike, you sending him flying back towards the ground. He reorients himself before he drops down into the lava, glaring at you as you continue your headlong charge. He drops down to a patch of solid ground, bracing himself as you again close the gap. With another shout you swing, this time the Arbiter leaping clear. He leaps far enough to avoid the hammer’s shockwave completely, then rushing in when you’re open. He slashes at your chest and stabs at your head, specifically your right eye.

“Bastard sure knows how to hold a grudge!” you think to yourself, flipping between the Arbiter’s blades and kicking him with your right heel to the side of his head, knocking him back. You try and rush the opening, however, the Arbiter gets his guard up and blocks your horizontal swing. You send him flying again, pursuing him close. As long as we've been charging the Bloodstone for the past couple of months we should at least have a few Karns worth of energy in it, on top of what future Chaya gave us, so I'm not too concerned about burning up most of our energy a couple of times. As long as we leave ourself with enough energy to maintain [DRAGON FORCE] for a bit after we try and go all out to take him down we can recharge without him being able to retaliate.

You know he’s extremely dangerous in a close-range confrontation, but his ranged weapons, being of Covenant make, are probably laughably weak. Especially compared to your own power. So you’ll have to fight him more like your wife would, keeping at range and punishing him with ki attacks. With your plan of attack decided you smirk at the Arbiter, slinging the hammer back over your back.

“And after a power-packed opening, it seems that Karn’s putting his weapon away!” Dallas shouts. “What could this mean? Is Karn surrendering?”

With a shout you toss a Scattershot right at the Arbiter, the Sangheili flying up to dodge. With your other hand you point for his head, firing a Death Beam and your Eye Beams all at him. He deflects your beams with his blades, then charges headlong at you. You create an Energy Mine behind you, then at the last moment flip backwards over it. He doesn’t see the attack until the last moment, his blade slicing into it and causing it to explode in his face. You flip out of the blast radius, the Arbiter quickly regaining control and pursuing you again. He pursues you relentlessly, switching back to his dual-blades as he tries to close the gap. But you don’t give him the chance, flying away in nearly a full retreat as you relentlessly bombard the Arbiter with ki attacks. He takes the brunt of your lesser hits, being careful to dodge or block every single one of your beams, watching them all carefully after he dodges them. He’s trying to make sure you don’t hit him from behind like before. He’s wary of what you can do. You can do this, you can beat him!

“RAAAAAAAAA!!” he shouts angrily, stopping his pursuit. You stop as well, cautiously watching him as he clutches his head, screaming. What is he doing? Suddenly you see a dark aura flaring up around him, you sensing his strength swelling. What the hell is this? “GUUYAAAAAAAAAA!!”

And as suddenly as it started, his screaming ends. Instead he simply glares at you, eyes glowing bright red as a familiar demonic aura flares up around him. Wait, is that-?!
