Welcome back to AAQ

As of last post last thread, we were waiting for the four remaining idiot bandits to give up finding the corpses of their comrades so they would take us to their leader.
>>
>>3217641
hello what this be?
>>
>>3217641
My nigga returns!

>Wait
Unless we can just skip that since they've proven themselves unable to find two bloodied corpses in a small room?
>>
>>3217653
This be a mediocre quest, read the previous thread for more info
>>
>>3217641
>>3217713
They finally decide that The other 2 just deserted out a window and call over to the boss, while 2 of them leave to guard the villagers

"HEY BOSS"

"Whatever do you need me for?"
The boss seems a handsome, tall, eloquent man. Most likely a noble.

"We found ya some armor Boss!"

"It looks like it even fits... good work"

You get carted out the door, and the blacksmith is making bug eyes at you.

"Squire! help me into this armor!"

"Yes, milord!"
He pops your head off

Roll 2 1d100 to not pass out!
>>
Rolled 45, 51 = 96 (2d100)

>>3217817
No beheading shall slay us!
>>
Rolled 98 (1d100)

>>3217817
>>
>>3217834
I'll take this one because I'm happy, I'll even throw in a bonus

You manage to stay conscious, and even feel a tugging sensation, one from the building, and several, much much fainter in various directions...

He finishes putting you on 'Boss'

You feel a buzzing sensation from inside your helmet...

whatcha' wanna do?
>Let him walk
>Lock Joints
>"Stop hitting yourself, Stop hitting yourself!"
>Write in
>>
>>3217881
>>Let him walk
>>And present ourselfs
>>
>>3217881
What if we:
>Keep up the ruse until he's alone
>Sieze the armour up and reveal ourselves
>Trick him into thinking we're a demon (that blacksmith said something about them, right?)
>Say that he can't take us off and must do our bidding if he wants to be free

A significantly long term plan, but still.
I sleep now
>>
>>3217895
You feel as if the buzzing sensation is...calling to be spoken to.

Do you speak through it, or aloud?
>>
>>3217941
>speak through it
>>
>>3217952
Give me a roll.

Only one 1d100.
>>
Rolled 91 (1d100)

What do you say?

"Don t scream ! Who are you ? And why you wear this armor ?"
>>
>>3217999
"Don't scream! Who are you? And why do you wear this armor?" you say

"GAH"
"IT'S IN MY HEAD"

He didn't listen, a pity.

>Calm down
>Lock Joints

"STOP SCREAMING ! I M NOT IN YOUR HEAD ! What are you a child !? and take a more suitable attitude to a man !"
>>
>>3218076

"STOP SCREAMING! I'M NOT IN YOUR HE-"

He proceeds to rip the helmet off.

You can't talk to him, and I will leave off on this note.

A good day to you anons.

Welp, it appears to you that screaming at somebody to calm them down doesn't work, so you got a few choices.

>Let him remove you
>Lock Joints
>"Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!"
>Speak(write-in)
>>
>>3220588
>Lock joints
>Make him threaten himself with a dagger to the throat

He doesn't have a dagger on him, but you can force him to punch himself in the face with an opposed strength check

Roll call
>>
>>3234007
Here for an hour
>>
>>3234015
What are you going to attempt to do, you have had your chest plate removed from Hans, and you still have minor control his over arms and legs.

Also, your attempts to mentally or vocally yell him into submission are only frightening him more.

Furthermore, you also have the Paladins coming if you forgot, and what with the extra not being inanimate you've been doing is gonna cause them to flip their shit whenever they find out what's been happening and where you are.
>>
>>3234033
First course of action is to use my roll from the previous session to rebuild ourselves/threaten Hans and his bitch into rebuilding us/KOing them both and controlling Hans like a puppet to do it/whatever works.
>>
>>3234051
You can't put yourself back together seeing as Hans is still wearing some of you, Hans getting threatened is just making him yell at Squire to"GET IT OFF MEEEE" louder at this point, and a Hans puppet would work the other way around, and lower your combat effectiveness somewhat due to having someone actively trying to stop you from fighting.
>>
>>3234077
Fuck. Can we use that roll to snap Hans' neck with our arms (we still have those, right?) and crawl over there using his body as support? Just asking rn, not committing to it yet.
>>
>>3234104
You SHOULD be able to snap his neck, but you would not be able to stand or properly move at all, just imagine if someone had control of your arms and legs, but not the joints they connect to your torso on. That's what you are dealing with, as well as Squire being there to keep Hans from dying while trying to rip you off of him.
>>
>>3234114
Damn. How's the squire looking? Can we grab one hand on Hans' neck and one hand of the squire's and order him to put us back on? We could say something along the lines of it would be easier for them to rebuild us, but we could still do it without them and snapping their necks wouldn't make fixing ourselves impossible? We should be able to do a slow crawl with our fingers to our body should things go south, right?
>>
>>3234135
The squire is 13-ish, and well muscled for one of their age, Hans is large and fit. You could try, but then the bandits will kill you if you do so to Hans, and you can't be put together without help by this point, it's too far along in the process to put yourself back together with a dead body INSIDE you. If you were merely disassembled, however...
>>
>>3234156
Are you implying what I think you're implying? Because if you are,
>Let them take us off
>>
>>3234156
Okay, you let them take you off of Hans, now what do you want to do, you have about a minute before Hans actually gives the order to smash you into tinfoil, as he is still recovering.
>>
>>3234172
Quick, shuffle back together! If it's in terms of priority, then make sure our arms bond to our torso before anything else. We can fight them off as a legless, headless, yet not armless torso, at least.

G'night, QM.
>>
>>3234177
Want to roll for them not noticing? (you get a surprise round) If you do not, roll for speed.

>>
>>3243820
Nah, a question for you though, what do you like and or dislike about the quest, because I'm pretty sure it's bad, and you seem to love it.
>>
>>3243842
Well, I just like the concept and I feel pretty attached to this quest now. It's fun to play. IIRC you also said this was your first quest, and a good way to improve is to gain experience. So, here I am.

As for criticism, one thing I think you could do to improve is increase the length of your posts by a fair amount. Perhaps go into further detail about what is happening? Another thing would be the pacing of the story, which kind of ties in with my first point. I understand that the turn-based combat system is quite difficult to work around on a site like this, so perhaps it would be better to use a different system that can get any battles we enter done quicker? The fight with Maceman and Axeman did start to drag on after a while, as would the searching bandits. Also, how much of this quest have you planned out so far?
>>
>>3243912
Ah, totally feel you, I will try to make the posts longer, I just want player input.

As for the 2nd matter...
Paladins, and that's about it.
>>
>>3243912

You run. You run like the wind. It's a really weird, fucked up dog run, but you still run surprisingly fast, only a spearman keeping up, and he can't hurt you in the slightest, and although he tries, can't knock you over.

What do you do, you are missing your leg and helmet.
>>
>>3247336

>Leg
Better fighting/moving capabilities should it come to that, head doesn't do as much for us.
>>
>>3247387
>>3247375
Would you like to stop and fight, or keep running and pick up the helmet? It affects the DC for getting the armor on.
>>
>>3247390
Pick up the helmet and run if possible, I just assumed we could only get one.
>>
>>3247397
>>3247390
*Facepalm*

I meant leg, if you run it makes the DC higher for putting on the leg, but you can circle back for a chance to grab the helmet. If you stop, you can still get the helmet and have a lower leg attachment DC, but you are in combat.
>>
Rolled 92, 9 = 101 (2d100)

>>3247402
Let's stick around and grab all our bits. We may be getting into a fight with a shitload of dudes, but the likelihood is that they won't be able to engage all at once since that many people trying to attack the same guy would just get in each other's way.
>>

The axeman runs into you, failing to stop when you do, the Maceman does the same thing but practically hands you his mace, allowing you to
take it and backhand him for 2 damage.

Hans takes a swing and misses, but his squire tries and succeeds to grapple, the spearmen assisting.
