Year 159

An era of change has gripped the Wine-Dark Sea as numerous issues have arisen to be dealt with by the benevolent lords of the Empire. Dark things stir across the world and the ever present threat of the Everwood spills out darkness. Firstly however some good news, the once furtive Emperor Alexos seems to have recently embraced his role as monarch inspiring hope in many imperial subjects. Some say this change is not for the best as they listen to his thoughts on the increasing power of Lords, the plight of the lower classes and the fate of non-believers.

The first issue to be dealt with is the influx of refugees from the Golden Empire which has now all but completely fallen to Beastmen hordes. This refugees are divided into two ethnic groups, the Tev and the Goli. The Goli were the most populous denizens of the Golden Empire many of which who can afford purchase passage to your lands are of the middle class such as merchants or tradesmen. A majority follow local spirit religions, a large minority follow Ifit and the small minority still worship the Golden Dragons. The Tev people are a mostly pastoral warrior people who were concentrated around the cities of Atev and Martez roaming the plains in southern Gentle Peace. Most of them practice a form of ancestor worship based on the stars but some hold other spirit religions found across the Golden Empire. To the Tev people their horses are their lives so many men sacrificed their places on ships to allow their families to escape with even a single horse. The most powerful of Tevian Khans ride upon great Winged Wolves which are true terrors in combat being one of the few animals with command over magic!

>Each Lord should write out a plan on how they will deal with refugees within their lands and roll a 1d100.

Secondly a group of Dragon Priests representing both the Goldmonger and Sunblighter brood have petitioned the council and Emperor Alexos for the recognition of their faith as a protected religious group. They offer the help of their dragons in times of war along with a gift of several powerful artifacts retrieved from the Golden Empire.
>A. Accept their offer, dragons are useful allies.
>B. Heathens have no rights here in the Wine-Dark Empire!
>C. Compromise (Write-In)

Thirdly is the arrival of a newly minted lord Xali Armenos and her “good” bird-like Beastma, Brutus of the Dawnlight Knights. He claims to be a noble knight of Erulia twisted by the foul magics of the Everwood but has regained his sanity even though his mind is twisted. He wishes to fight on the side of justice offering to swear an oath of fealty to the Emperor!
>A. Kill the monster! It is clearly a spy!
>B. Imprison the monster! Maybe we can learn more from it through torture.
>C. Trust the monster, the world is full of wonders after all.

Fourthly the Iron Kingdom has opened up the port of Karlsgard for trade with the Thleech family. The Emperor has expressed worry at the idea of trading with a state that has invaded the Wine-Dark Empire several times and seeks the councils thoughts of this issue. The Iron Kingdom most valuable exports to the Empire are cheese, furs and liquor.
>A. Let the Thleech enjoy their monopoly, any trade is good trade.
>B. Force the Thleech’s to give up their monopoly, all trade should be free.
>C. Outlaw trade with the Iron Kingdom, those savages will have none of our gold!

The fifth issue is the city of Yoral, it seems the entire population of the city has simply vanished into the night with only a few piles of gnawed bones being left as clues. Many put the blame on the Hunter God that is supposed to lurk beneath the island with many blaming the Shinebringer family for waking it from its slumber.
>A. Help resettle and rebuild the city, surely this will not happen again!
>B. Send a legion in and help rebuild the city, surely that will be enough.
>C. Leave the cursed place alone, only when the Hunter is dead should it be rebuilt.

The sixth and final issue is the strangest of them all, it seems the Bone-Eater pygmies have declared a Holy Tide upon the Eagle Princedom for murdering the Great Stingray, a servant of Galoris! The Pygmies have already begun to launch raids into eagle territories disrupting trade, cannibalizing the locals and burning anything they can get their little hands on! The Eagle Prince asks for your aid in dealing with them as the Eagle Armada was completely captured by you in the last war and has yet to be rebuilt.
>A. Reign in the Bone-Eater Khandom
>B. Let things run their course, as Galoris wills it.
>C. Support the pygmies and crush the Eagle Princedom!

Also settle the recent oriental arrivals at Sollus point. I think the city and more open fields will suit the more urban Goli and pastoral Tev respectively. As long as they don’t start causing any violence or major issues they can do whatever they want.

Those that on the off chance end up within my lands will be sent out unless they can provide a good sum of cash to prove they won't be a liability however we will only take in the max of 5% of what our current population is.

>C. Compromise (Write-In)
They shall receive this so long as they adopt/accept Galoris stuff comes first as it is our official faith, not only that but they must also share all their dragon care information

>C. Trust the monster, the world is full of wonders after all.
Ask the Emperor to have someone he trusts to keep an eye on the creature and if we get even a hint of betrayal we see how well he can fly from a cliff with clipped wings.

>A. Let the Thleech enjoy their monopoly, any trade is good trade.
I was there when the bargin was struck i will not altar it, though i will remind Thleech to remember this.

>B. Send a legion in and help rebuild the city, surely that will be enough.
The Hunter will be watching and will likely do something or may have lay a trap. maybe we should lay one for him?

-Settle the Tevi people on any pastoral lands weve secured.
-the Goli who follow ifriti will be spread around the empire. The rest will go where we can find room for them that matches their skills.

>Dragon priests
Compromise.) If the Dragon priests accept Galoris as the true Goddess, becoming part of the empire like other peoples and their spirits have in the past we will welcome them.

>The Dawnlight knights.
C) Have him perform some task to prove he and his warriors are true to their words of fighting for justice and they will be welcome to swear their oath.

All refugees that come to the Nothern Shore will be vetted to figure who worships the bird Ifit. Those who do will be given the chance to renounce their ties to the sworn enemy of Galoris. If they do not accept they will be sent to Fort Consus until they can be reasoned with. All other worshippers are not to be disturbed, but told merely to respect Galoris. And the refugee question

The Yoresh Clan will be providing tax incentives to smiths that come to Olamir or Karishold, as well as giving them a small start up bonus as further incentive to settle in my lands.

I will be giving enormous tax breaks and a home in the plains of Olamir and Karishold for the Tevian Khans (and their men) who choose to swear themselves to my service (bonus if they have winged wolves)

I will also personally pay a man's weight in gold to anyone who can prove that they know how to construct titans and see if they can help us construct a titan. (This is unlikely but on the off chance one appears hey why not.)

The House Neas will accept mostly people that have converted to Galoris. We will not be easily trustful of someone of other religions, especially if it doesn t want to even live under our laws or respect the empire, especially after saving them. And we will remain ever vigilant of them, ready.

To everyone tha comes here, its given the possibility of having a better life accepting the faith of Galoris and imperial traditions.

But Nevitis leave a possibility, a social contract between the groups of Goli and Tev and the citizens of Neas Hope.

They shall have a new home, but they will in print on their families the traditions of House Neas at least. The people that don t want to do so and don t want to forge a new life under the right and good rule of House Neas, will be send to merchant ships that go to Tojo. The captains of this ships will be payed by House Neas for give a decent travel to this families.

If the Social contract is accepted by the ones that stay, but don t want to convert to Galoris, good houses will be made for them... decent ones, but not better than the ones of the people converted.

For the Goli kin a new neighbeourhood will be built, the Tev are offered to stay in part of the forests... but not all of them only the ones approeved by House Neas. Death is the price of transgression. Death.

House Neas will speak with the artisans, merchants, common men and nobles of the city for found a good way to insert this people here.

The only ones that will not have the possibility to remain are the Ifit followers, especially if they are not convert. They wanted to burn our city, we will not be good with them.
>C. Compromise

Seek a union between our faith, speak long with the Stormseer and see what it can be done. Our empire is a good one, but if you want to live here, nothing can be divided. It s must always be unite at least by one thing, if not more.

>C. Trust the monster, the world is full of wonders after all.

We will not trust him easily, Proofs and many oaths need to be given. And we will be ready if betrayal is there.
>A. Let the Thleech enjoy their monopoly, any trade is good trade.

With the condition that, prices will be in part lowered and in some decades free market can begin.

>B. Send a legion in and help rebuild the city, surely that will be enough

We are ready for the hunt, we will kill this demon. No sons and brothers of the empire will be leave harmed, and without vengeance. The creature will pay tenfold.
>C. Support the pygmies and crush the Eagle Princedom!

The Eagle are filth and traitors, whores of a disgusting and horreoundeos deity. We will punish them under our mighty and take their realm !

Encourage the settlement of Karishold by the Goli tradesmen, specifically the smiths and merchants. Their prowess should be useful in further establishing the city as the smith hub of the northern sea. I have also established a trade deal with Lord Seastorm, which will further enable the growth of the city.

The priests of the Empire will begin to work on handling the refugees. Kindness has always been the word of Galoris, ever since the days of the conversions of Merli and Ruby island. Conversions will not be forced but the cultures of the refugees will be taken into account and priests will make effort to learn of the cultures of the refugees. Once the priests understand the cultures of the refugees priests will begin preaching to them the words of Galoris taking into consideration their cultural backgrounds.

The priests will also implore the common folk to not turn to violence and lynch mobs. Show them the grace of men who worship Galoris and showcase the benefits of life under Galoris. These men who run from beastmen, our holy enemies, they share a purpose to us. Embrace them, teach them our ways and have them fight by our side against the eternal darkness. They should be seen as potential allies and not mere heretics wanting to exploit the Empire.
>>
C on the Dragonpriest thing. Supporting the Seastorm idea.
>>
>>3679821
Sollus point experiences a rush of refugees from the urban Goli many of who are eager to ply their trades and convert to the local religion for acceptance. However violent attacks have become common as the lower class denizens of your city resent these foreigners for being able to join the middle class while they toil away in the fields and mines.

>>3679828
You manage to attract several wealthy Goli merchant families who invest in your lands and build new villas.

>>3679849
Many of the hardy Tevians make the journey to Dragon's Graveyard seeking to make use of the unclaimed and unexploited pastures there. The more devote of the Goli dragon worshipers settle in the provincial capital which causes quite alot of friction with your Galoris worshiping population.

>>3679884
Dosmir is one of the first stops in the Wine-Dark Sea so you see boatload after boatload of refugees being dropped on your shores. This quickly leads to violence as the xenophobic Dosmiri lash out at these "invaders". The flow of refugees does not seem to be slowly in the slightest and the island draws closer to a war zone with each passing day.

>>3679914
You have to deploy guards to route and beat refugees columns near constantly to keep them from your lands in Bojmor. Some of the more desperate Tevians settle in Western Belinlos on the few non-blighted parts. You are quickly earning yourself the nickname of Randal Thleech the Merciless.

>>3679916
You receive a small amount of skilled refugees that are sure to increase the prosperity of your realm.

>>3679988
You manage to gather many craftsmen to settle in your land but the Tevian Khans will not bow to an "upjumped merchant". As for men who can construct titans, none are found.

>>3679998
The streets of Neas Hope run red with the blood of refugees. Many had come to this place hearing of it's message of hope to the common people only to be met by the hostility of mob violence and xenophobic lynchings. Only through the grace of the Stormseer is the violence eventually calmed but not before thousands lie dead.

>>3680017
Karishold is often referred to as Goldenhold these days for the population has quickly shifted to that of a majority Goli people. They are productive and pay taxes so what more can one really ask.

>>3680065
It is the Stormseer himself who reaches out to the displaced people of the Golden Empire. He throws open the doors of the Temples to offer them sanctuary and empties the churches deep coffers to feed them. The Priests preach till their voices go raw about to both the refugees and the populace at large. It will be a slow process easing the tension of the Empire but with the blessing of Galoris you shall make it so.

he Dragon Religion is allowed the protections of the law if they accept the supremacy of Galoris over all others. There is much contention amongst the Priests but eventually they agree seeing it a preferred alternative to being executed as heathens. The Beastman Brutus is allowed to stay within the Empire but is assigned two Priests to watch over him and ensure no funny business. The Iron Kingdom trade is left in the hands of the Thleech family. Yoral is resettled mainly with refugees and a legion garrisoned there for protection. Lastly the Eagle Princedom is told to solve their own problem and that nothing will be done about the Pygmies.

In other news the Goodthinker’s Horde and the Iceborn have begun to skirmish near their borders.

"Oh great and sweet Goddess of the Sea, Mother of the Lightwatchers and the Empire, we are here today to ask you of a great blessing. Make our emperor, the stormseer and our lords, the greatest men of the empire. Raise them above all the other Lightwatchers, they will be better than 10 men combine together. Our cruel foes will always find harsh fights against them. The administration and life in our empire will benefit too with their improvements, and with even longer life they will be able to rule for far longer. In the Starless Sea it seems the Pygmy Fleet was near defeated when DA GREAT KHAN personally dueled and slew the Champion of the Crying God. It has also been reported that the dragon Moonblighter has arrived to support the khandom in their Holy Tide.

A has been chosen! As it stand crops yields have been failing year after year on both the islands and continent. The only areas truly unaffected are Dragon's Graveyard and farms newly built on cleared forest ground.

What will you do?
>>
>>3680532
Do the three crop rotation and improve the humus our famrers use.

If they don t try to create it, maybe take it from neignbouring realms
>>
>>3680532
Investigate our farms for any tampering first and foremost. If none found, then investigate soil fertility and work towards restoring their nutrients with crop rotation becoming mandatory and introducing cover crops, and insects/animals beneficial to the soil
>>
>>3680532
The lands may have been over farmed and a rotation of sorts is required? is it possible to plant some farms in fresh lots and give the soil of the old ones a chance to recover? This recovering land can be left for grazing limited animals as they will see to its restoration naturally.

It takes some time but eventually with the help of some Goli farmers you find a solution to your problem! It seems your fields have been running out of nutrients after being worked so hard for many years and by introducing crop rotation and the idea of leaving some fields fallow for years you can solve this problem. The greatest problem facing you however is getting farmers to implement these changes! Word has gotten out that these ideas are an Eastern invention which has caused the old racism to flair up again. After all we have been doing things these ways for years, no eastern is smarter than a Lightwatcher!

In other news the Iceborn and Beastmen have clashed with massive losses on both sides however it seems to be slightly in favor of the Iceborn.

FP set up the Circles of knowledge. An organziation with schools set up in the major cities of the empire to help provide education for citizens to reach their full potential in fields of education that can help serve the empire, such as training administrators, help in training skilled proffesionals, and reasearch both magical and mundane.

The circles will take in the best and brightest who show the drive to achieve their potential. Being supported by the Seastorm Clan and if successful enough to warrent interest from the Imperial government, The Emperor as well.

It is a time for celebration in the Wine-Dark Empire as Emperor Alexos has announced that his wife Helena Thleech is pregnant. He is also happy to announce the marriage of his elder sister Nuha to Lucan Neas, his young sister Chaya to the Oda Sato of Tojo and his youngest sister to Isal to Azhorius Seastorm.

Schools are built by royal decree all over the Empire with a focus on improving both the general knowledge of the populace and their literacy. The hope is that a more educated populace will be more willing to accept advancements and come up with new innovations. At the moment these schools are purely voluntary and see very little use from the lower class but are full of students from the middle and upper class. Emperor Alexos has also brought forth a massive education and food subsidy tax targeted at the upper class.

In the Starless Sea the Holy Tide against the Eagle Princedom continues with Lord Balat Firestorm joining in to support the Pygmies.

The Nevitis Reforms are passed allowing each Brightlord to choose from a variety of detachments to support their legions in battle. Among these new units the Tevian Winged Wolves Riders are the most happy as they see this as the Empire recognizing their skill and power in battle. This brings the size of each Legion battlegroup to around 2,500 men. The new Field Wardens are also proving very effective at maintaining order among the rank and file along with also helping tend to the spiritual needs of the men. The Emperor’s Guard and Overlord’s Guard are well overdue in their formation with the most elite of your legionaries being recruited into the two groups. The equipment of the Legions are also updated into using steel instead of iron.

Advancements into runecraft are made with the thousands of pieces of looted Belinlos gear proving a basis for new discoveries. The biggest being the idea of intertwining runes to form larger runes for increased efficiency and power. By combining a series of say “Stability” runes to form a larger “Sharpness” rune one can boost both aspects in a blade without requiring more mana, this allows stronger enchantments to be made on near anything that you already craft.

However Soul Bonding has revealed a sinister art, the Soul Drain. Using this perverse ability a mage can forcefully tap into the mana of another soul taking it for this own, this is a dangerous spell for both parties as almost all who are drained die and the user can overextend their own mana as large amounts are needed to "break" into another soul.

New has arrived from the East, the Iceborn have been crushed in a decisive land battle and are now attempting to seek aid from the United Holy Kingdoms.

In the Starless Sea the Eagles have been completely toppled by the Pygmies and Balat Firestorm. The Pygmies are satisfied with their goal and have departed for home with all the loot that entails. Lord Firestorm however is requesting the use of several legions to govern this new territory and help rebuilding the devastated state along with proper annexation.

- War Machines

Six new war machines, needs to be made, start being produced and given to the legions siege detachments.

Naturally there is a good men that could help us in this, Daedelius ... a "thinker" and an "inventor" of sorts. He seems interested in helping the creation of this new war machines. With of course a retribution and some help.

Their arsenal of war machines will double, making them and the legions even deadlier :

- A ballista that launches, multiple small bolts, perfect for deal with large infantry formations and giving to our legionaries more respite.

- A ballista that launches nets, nets made with steel chains and hard cords, with many small heavy spherical steel weights . It will be of great use against great beasts, horrors and demons, or flying creatures.

- A strange war machine, inspired by the so called "rockets" from the east. It will launch multiple of them, creating chaos and confusion in the enemy formations.

- A great cannon, primitive like the "small" ones we have, it's far bigger, heavy and slow. But is size will give us an incredible firepower.

- A greater catapult with a longer arm, it will throw greater rocks than a normal catapults, but much like the great cannons it will be bigger, heavy and slow as well.

- Lastly the strangest and most difficult to use and build war machine, the empire as ever seen. A cart with a series of great and small glasses with sun runes apply to them. The theory is that with the reflession of the sun on them (preferably during a sunny day at midday) and the aid of an expert mage, the glasses would be able after reflecting on each other, to create an intense powerful small light ray able of an incredible destruction and that reaches a long distance. Still it's advisable to build few of this war machines for the legions, do to the circumstances needed for them to work and the dangers of their use.

7,500 men are sent to reinforce Lord Balat Firestorm in the Eagle Princedom while a total of 42,500 men being gathered to join with both the United Heavenly Kingdom and the Iceborn in crushing the Beastmen menace.

The largest issues holding back this war is the lack of excess food in your kingdom to feed an army on campaign and the strained negotiations going on between the two rival powers. You firmly side with your ally the UHK and the threat of helping attack the Iceborn finally forces them to accept. However on the food front things are slightly more grim, the UHK is deploying a total of 500,000 men to combat the Beastmen menace which is already pushing their economy to the limit. The Iceborn are said to have massive stockpiles of food but are unwilling to sell any to you.

What will you do?

The problem seems to be resolved when the Stormseer channels the power of Galoris to summon a massive pod of whales to be butchered and turned into rations for your men! While the men are sure to soon get sick of whale meat they will be well fed.

Your fleet eventually arrives in the city of Tojo and you are quickly rushed into a the main castle of the city where the various factions of your coalition are having a meeting. It seems the three sides have not been able to decide upon anything and are still in the middle of squabbling.

Lords of the Wine-Dark Empire, what will you suggest for a war plan?

“I suggest a simple plan, war-masters, but one that should be effective. Our legions will attach to Lin’Xao’s warband, whereupon we will launch an offensive to retake the Golden River. Our legions, combined with the thralls of the warband will enable us to truly deal damage to the horde. As for the Shogun and Emperor, I suggest you two combine hosts aswell and launch an offensive from either Martez or Dong’shi, focusing on taking the plains or the northern river respectively. We should focus on destroying the beastmen horde at any cost and annihilating their leadeeship. In the Empire’s experience, if they lose their head they lose their fighting ability.”

"For the ones that don t know, the real issue with them is prolonged fights. A beastmen horde always prepare for have plenty of numbers even as reinforcements.

We need to hit them directly at their heart. Not doing so will mean our soldiers will remain in such prolonged fights that they will die by fatigue.

Now the logistics on the great river will be far easy to mantain than in other places.

But what about the army that will move from Donng shi ? Will their logistics be safe and fast enough ? "
>>

"We have tried that! Several times we have tried to cut the head off the beast and each time we have merely killed another fake while losing thousands of good men! We can't seem to ever pin down Goodthinker!"

>>3692445
"Lords I must stress a withdrawal from martez, that force may land a distance from the main capital lands. They will go north and wait to join the battle against the main beastmen horde of the middle when they begin their onslaught to the capital.

A flanking maneuver will be needed and the horns will be made up of the hojido samurai and the emperor. The main body will be made to stand, strong invincible warriors of warlord Lin will hold the middle ground as the arms surge around. We will tempt this battle into action, win and then eradicate all the beastmen once they have been broken."

“Fakes? That’s new. Though maybe we can use this to our advantage. Call him out as a coward when facing his hordes to sow descent within their ranks.”

“Our legions will have Goodthinkers head, as long as the iceborn thralls die to give us the opportunity. We know best about how to kill Beastmen, after all. As for the other fronts, perhaps the combined hosts of the Emperor and Shogun should first seek to wipe out the Lord of Plagues? His host is the smallest, likely the ‘easiest’ of the 3, but will become troublesome down the line thanks to his disease that he spreads. If your army wipes out that horde in time, then perhaps you could swing around and hit the horde near Dong’Shi?”
>>
>>3692470
The Emperor speaks up.

"It is a wise idea, take out one of their hosts and hopefully we can rally some of the Tevians."

The Emperor then looks at you.

You wish the Shogun and Emperor the best of luck as they depart for Martez as you prepare your own ships to take you to the Golden City. On the way to the Golden City you pass the massive Ice Ark city called the Anchorage. The iceberg it sits on top of is bigger then the entirety of Loslina and holds a city of near equal size, the guide given to you by the Iceborn tells you that the entire Ice Ark lies upon the back of The One Below.

The Golden City is equally as impressive if a tad ruined and run down. The streets of the city are line with refuse and slaves working away at making weapons of war. In the time before the Iceborn you would not doubt that this was the most impressive city still left in this world.

It is not till you meet with the marshaled Iceborn army that you begin to feel truly small with the army being the size of near a quarter of the Wine-Dark Empire's population. However many of the men are ill equipped and ill nourished with no common equipment or training among them. The army itself seems to be sub-divided into clan armies lead by their own warlords only loosely commanded by the Grand Warlord.

You begin to march with the Iceborn horde up the River of Gentle Hope towards the city of Pogye at which Goodthinker's army is garrisoned. You are able to quickly adapt to dealing with the beastmen raiders that attempt to harass but find a larger problem being the fact that almost every field along the river has had it's extensive irrigation system flooded causing you to have to trudge through mud all the way.

When you finally reach the city of Poyge you find a massive beastmen camp that belches black smoke into the sky set up around it. Pallisades have been raised, stakes placed and trenches dug. Goodthinker has not spared any expense in preparing for you.

What is your plan?

Then proceed to storm through the breaches made by the dragons.

Tobias Seastorm disgusted by the lack of empathy and honour displayed by his fellow lords leads his retinue to join in with the Thrall Hordes. The charge towards the walls is a muddy one strewn with traps and trenches. The black arrows of the Beastmen fall down like rain slaughtering thousands in seconds. However Tobias and his guard have managed to make it to a gap in the first wall and are slowly making a opening that the thralls can force their way inwards. The greatest threat so far has been the beastmen mages which rain fire and slicing winds from above fueled by the hate of the Everwood.

In the city itself you find around two months rations of the rancid gruel the beastmen survive of off. There is plenty more smoked meat stored her but it is obviously made from human flesh.

You currently have 34,000 men inside a massive city that once housed over 1,000,000 people with an army of around 1,000,00 squatting outside. You can see a force of around 2,000 cavalry have escaped from the assault on the camp with the Iceborn's own cavalry in hot pursuit.

Bal struggles as he might but the crushing jaws of the Sea Titan are simply too much. His last thoughts are to of lost home, the sun kissed beaches of a far off island.

The Sea-Reaver is next as another fearsome blow from the Sea Titan cracks it completely in half disabling the craft. Waking from his daze the Stormseer rises up his eyes glowing red and calls down lightning strike after lighting strike onto the Sea Titan driving it away from the bridge! By the time he falls to the ground from exhausting his power most of the army has crossed before the Sea Titan is able to break the bridge.

You have escaped with a total of 28,000 men from a death trap but are still miles to go till safety.

What will you do?

You begin the long march through a devastated country patrolled by beastmen raiders, bandits and all sorts of monsters. You do your best to avoid all signs of settlement but your scouts are quick to report the state of the former Golden Empire. Massive slave camps dominate the former towns and villages churning out all sorts of disgusting foodstuffs and crude weapons of war. The most disturbing thing they report is massive "conversion" camps. Humans are placed in massive vats of putrid sap collected from massive plantations of bloated trees and after several minutes emerge ass fully fledged beastmen or beastwomen breeders. This entire land has been turned into a massive factory of flesh, foodstuffs and weapons for your most hated foe.

The Khan Otgon supported by the Shogun and Emperor caught Goodthinker in the middle of setting up an elaborate ambush destroying the horde! You eventually limp into Atev which has been converted into a base camp for the Coalition.

You leave the shores of the Rivers of Gentle Hope mission at least partially accomplished. You faced treachery, magic and beastmen but survived to tell the tale. Those who returned received a massive bounty from the UHK, enough wealth to set them up for life.

However in the far west problems only seem to mutiply as Lord Firestorm reports he can barely hold onto the capital of the Eagles and surrounding land with the men he has been given. The Black Fleet of Agaron and Pirates crawl all over the sea causing chaos and destruction. Several notable warlods have risen up and he is powerless to stop the.m.

You send another legion to support Lord Firestorm in the east however he reports what he desperately needs is more food, apparently the pygmies burnt much of the foodstocks and farms in the area when they sacked it. Famine and disease is spreading like wildfire through the Eagle islands and he can still barely control the small region currently in his hands. He says there needs to be a full commitment to this area or that he will simply withdraw.

News from the East reports that the region has stabilized however a large Beastmen presence is still in the area.

With the full support of the Emperor and Priesthood you manage to get the farmers to adopt the new practices. While slow at first as soon as people begin to seem the work they become widely adopted solving your food crisis! This has done wonders to the credibility of the council and the lords that supported a change in our agriculture system.

With this Emperor Alexos has announced the creation of a new city on the southern point of Olaz and the creation of new public waterworks around the empire.

Philosophy can come from the strangest of places such as a slave, potter or even a dragon. The philosophy of Moonblighter has begun to spread across the Wine-Dark Empire as the great dragon has taken to speaking in the central square of Samir to all that will listen. In his life he has been subjected to all manner of suffering and inflicted untold suffering onto others. While in the Sunset Imperium he was fed children ripped from the arms of their mothers, taught that humans were less than dirt and that by right of his birth all belonged to him. However that changed when the eagles tore his wings from him and chained him in a cage. They tormented him as he once tormented his servants, he had become a slave. His freedom was won by your people and he was welcomed to live alongside you, not as a servant or as a master but instead as an equal. The generous Neorah family with diamonds gifted by the Emperor even restored to him the power of flight! It was however not until he joined with the pygmies in destroying the Eagle Princedom did he realize the change. He did not enjoy his vengeance, the common men and women had did nothing to wrong him. Even those nobles who had tortured him only did so out of fear and hate of what he once did to their kin.

With this he came to craft his philosophy, the Serenity of the Moon. Be he man or dragon no creature can control the world, they can only control themselves and if you can only control yourself you should inflict goodness upon the world. For the world is full of suffering and only through empathy can we seek to make it better.

The Dragons are brought to the Royal Academy on Loslina to undergo extensive life magic healing lead by the mages of the Neorah family. Maelstrom's leg will take the longest to heal but within the next two years he should be right as rain.

As for the Titan's it takes a great deal to repair them, as every piece on the titan can only be repaired by an earth mage shifting in new tanvernite-steel alloy to fix the area. This is an exhausting and mana heavy process that will take five years to accomplish fixing the warrior titan retrieved by the Yoresh Family and cut ten years off of the regeneration time for Mannjager.

Give me 3d100 for any information your mages can gain about dragons and titans.

Your researchers spend hours pouring over Hyperion’s runes and innerworkings. This Titan has much more simplistic runic design compared to the complex ones inside of Mannjager. The Academy mages are now convinced that they could produce a warrior class titan if they had a properly sized heartstone, a massive amount of Tavernite and a huge amount of funding. They can also begin to produce small “Golems” which run off manite for short periods of time to do work humans cannot.

The Yoresh Family
Faction Project: While many people like to think big, thinking about titans and other grand designs, we shall focus on the smaller applications, ones that the common man may truly like! Ones that can simply improve quality of life.

1.Cool+ Bearer or Air + Cool would created like a mini Air-conditioner or cooling effect, which I'd imagine would be popular in our climate, as it is usually pretty warm
1a.As a sub-point, we can make Fridges and freezers, although I don't know how efficient it would be regarding manite

2.Just a healing rod (A rod with a healing + inflict rune on it), you whack someone with it and it'll heal their wounds, I assume the effect is limited but it'd be more like a first aid kit for our soldiers or the common people

3. Mechanized Sawmill. Using the Movement + Spin rune (maybe with +right? idk if it is required) we can make a proper sawmill that will truly improve the output of our lumberjacks and wood refiners!

4.Flashlights, Lanterns, Glow Rods, Hats with the light rune on them so they work like Miner hats (They'd be a step up from torches as you don't need to continually replace them, and I assume they'll have a further range into the darkness. It also works forever I imagine, as long as you have mana in your soul)

5.Flash Shield (Sun runes intertwined with sun runes that when activated on command it'll flash the poor guy on the other end

6. Shock Batons using the lightning/shock/whatever corresponding rune + Inflict would certainly be useful for our police/city guard forces!

7. Manite Flashbang, powered by a bit of manite, sun/light/whatever and sound + emit runes will certainly be useful in disorienting enemies!

8. Sound Dampening shoes to make your footsteps quieter, this would probably be best for infiltrators or spies

9. Metal detector! Metal + Detect

10. A security system! Movement + Detect and Sound + Emit would detect movement in the area and emit a loud noise that would certainly disorient intruders and alert people nearby!

11. Smoke Grenade or just smoke, basically just a smoke + emit rune with a bit of manite in it to obscure vision, kinda niche so I would imagine it's not that popular

These are numbered for a reason, if for some reason I can't achieve all of them (5 per FP, although I will have support), then the points with the lowest numbers have priority.

Lightkeeper Regent Neitan Neas has decide, that to continue the education program of the empire, the Neas must take it too on themselfs at least on their lordship.

So a series of small schools will be open around the great city and the lordship.

The difference will be that the citizens that want to put their childrens here, can decide for how much time their kids should remain at day. So the childrens could have work too in the activity of the family.

The schools are filled with the Neas traditions, loyalty and values, that will be inprinted on the kids. Alongside values of the empire and Galoris. This schools will go from a child of 4 to arriving to a young men of 16.

A part from this, there will be plenty of military training. And the introduction of a base of math, history, geography, speaking, faith, reading and writing. And many hours for learn prayers and military formations, alongside their traditions and the oaths of loyalty to give to House Neas.

Loyalty and Moral lessons to the empire and House Neas will be given a plenty too.

Some of the great costs of this schools will be payed by House Neas (such as books and teachers), giving to more citizens the possibility to use this schools too. Hopefully this should reinforce even more the link between the Neas and their city.

Finally pushed to act by her own pupils, Amaris and her fellow mages travel east to the Shoguns forward base. Their they set up a clinic of sorts, in the hopes of doing something no one else has done: reverting those afflicted with the Everwood curse back to normal. They plan to experiment on beastmen taken captive during the raids, hoping to learn more of the anatomy them and what exactly makes them tick.

They have no plans for a “cure” other than one theory most scholars agree on; removing the Everwood rune upon their forehead. Amaris plans to break off the part skull the rune is on, using her life magic to do so while her pupils heal the damage being done. If that fails to work, they shall keep learning as much as they can and trying whatever ideas they can come up with. If all this fails, Amaris hopes to at least help the Shoguns warriors and heal whatever injuries they may gain from holding back the onslaught of the Everwood, for helping an ally is just as an important cause.

An extraordinary invention has been brought to your land by the Goli people, the Printing Press! This device uses pressure to apply ink on paper or cloth allowing the production of large amounts of the written word! The press part of this device is made up of many intricate lead pieces for each letter of the alphabet allowing they to be changed and rearranged at the users will! This has allowed books to be created at a rapid pace which produces a demand that some goli craftsmen are happy to fill with the introduction of paper making! This process takes about five steps with several different merchant houses using slightly different techniques all of which require a large amount of beaten fibers.

- Libraries and a Mandatory Law for All Books in the Empire

Build libraries all over the empire, lords will also help in developing local activities for producing them. Also it will be mandatory that all books from now on, will have at their start and end, a different prayer to Galoris and a different phrase of an imperial hero. There will be also a dew religious pages inside. Every book will be given to the state and the church before being produced, as it needs to be controlled. Emperor Alexos has vetoed the decision to remove the law mandating the education of the populace by the Priesthood. He says that Priesthood has done a fine job tending to the spiritual and educational needs of the populace. He however does like Regent Neitan Neas idea and opens up the royal coffers to produce a Grand Library in Neas Hope from which all new books shall be taken, edited and reprinted.

After the sacrifice there is calm for three days and then a storm of truly epic proportions that rips across the Wine-Dark Sea. Oddly enough the Stormseer seemed to have no clue of the coming of this storm which now torments your lands for weeks on end. However at the end of the third week on the night of the full moon the storm subsides. The Priests many of the devote clamor to the Cliff to pray, seeking a reason for which these storms ravage your lands. They however are not prepared for the sight that stands in front of them. Emerging from within the shining lights of the water walks an impossibly beautiful maiden garbed in a long flowing blue silk dress. She smiles a very tired smile at the gathering throngs waving them away as she proceeds towards the city square….

Her voice is calming, that of caring mother reassuring a small child. The main square of Loslina is packed to the brim with men and women of all walks of life clamoring to see their goddess in the flesh.

"My Children, the time will soon come at hand of which we shall purge the taint of the Everwood completely from our world. All due to dedication of the royal family and you, the people of this fair Empire. You have done so much and fought so hard to get us here. However the greatest hardship is still ahead of us, the Cleansing shall being when the calendar turns to the year two hundred and will take ten years to complete. During this time the Everwood shall throw every vile ounce of power it has against you in an effort to take Loslina. However I have faith in all of you. I know you shall protect this place, for me and for the future of our people. You are my chosen people and all this world once purged of the Everwood shall be your dominion!"

The crowd is stunned for a few moments before launching into a mass of celebratory applause! Galoris spends several minutes among the crowd, offering hugs and handshakes to her loyal followers before excusing herself to speak to the Emperor and Stormseer alone.

However this is not the only thing that Galoris has blessed you with this day. It appears first to a man being beaten by thugs on the street after intervening against a mugging, wind swirls around him like blades dispatching the thugs with ease. The man then takes to the town square of Scarletta, for his has not just been blessed by Galoris but by Esau, Knight of Galoris and Spirit of Wind and Duty! Through his faith in Galoris and service to the Empire he has been reborn by her power to serve the Empire once more!

- Communication Towers

Build many towers all over the empire, with on top great pieces of glass (with engraved sun runes on them) to communicate with each other . The communication when the sun shines above us will be easier, but when night falls it's interrupted. A small price to pay it gives us a new tool of communication, albeit not easy to use and with many things that could happen for interrupt the talking between towers, alongside a primitive light language between the various great pieces of glass.

A series of communication towers are set up across the mainland allowing for quick communication. An enchanter even finds a way to use manite to create artificial sunlight so they can be used at night. The Lord of the Everwood family has appealed to the Emperor and has had his taxes lowered to a mere ten percent.

It also seems that trade ships have also begun to arrive from a place claiming to be the Erulian Empire, people have taken to calling them Neo-Erulias for the real Erulia is long gone.

- New Forts and fortifications

Build great and higher new forts in all the lordships. None of our enemies will find something easy in our lands to take, and if they wish to take one of our settlements such great fortresses will stop them. Besides it will impress and humble the other realms of the known world, and give to each of our lords a formidable defense.

Alongside this further fortify all our borders (be it natural borders or the ones we share with the disgusting Everwood, Tarrex Brothel or the allied Under realm), coasts and minor settlements, we can't allow a single weak point.

Lords and nobles are asked to help in this great endeavour.
