You’re Ferdinand (“Fern”), some punk from an acid ocean world called Ghast. You’ve got a pet Tyranid gun called Bubbles, and you’re on a Chaos space station after hitching a ride to flee a Tyranid sea monster. You have recently killed a Rogue Trader on the station, and after striking a deal with what was left of their corrupt crew, you now have two Servitors, and an amazon-like slave.

>>
You decide to go look for some technician that can check on the new stuff you got. You go back to the map, and you start to press around the repair area, making several tooltips pop up about ship-repair workshops, hardware stores and similar places, and you looked for a place that didn’t have Tzeentch symbols or references.

“Dijana.” the huge girl said, pointing to herself, interrupting your search. “Dijana me. You?” she then asked.

“Ferdinand. Just Fern is fine. Me Fern.” you reply, opting to give her your shorter name in case the full one was too hard for her. She didn’t seem to speak Gothic very well.

“Where are you from?” you then asked her, curious about how foreign she was. She looked at you with a soft wince. She didn’t understand.

“Tobias, where is she from?” you then asked one of the Servitors. “UNNAMED PLANET 1923-293-PHI LAMBDA.” it answered. Dijana meanwhile looked around the station.

“What do you know about that place?” you followed. “FERAL WORLD. TAIGA. MEGAFAUNA, MEGAFLORA, LACK OF CIVILIZATION. UNEXPLORED. LACK OF FURTHER INFORMATION.”

“...What do you know about Dijana?” you also inquired, curious.

“HUMAN FEMALE. APPROXIMATION OF AGE: 13-20 TERRAN YEARS OLD. AGE EXPECTANCY: 213 TERRAN YEARS. BLOOD TYPE: BETA. HEIGHT 187 CENTIMETERS. AVERAGE RESTING HEART RATE: 23 BEATS PER MINUTE. AVERAGE BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL 4.5 MMOL PER LITRE….” it replied, and it continued on with more technical details which you didn’t understand.

So, she was either a tad older than you, or actually younger. To your Ghastian eyes she seemed to be an extraordinarily healthy and good-looking girl in her early twenties or something, but you were also used to people just being a lot shorter in general. But maybe that was just how it was like for her on a planet where people didn’t sail on acid and constantly die to dysentery and diarrhea.

---------------------------

You lead the group over to a small workshop which had a chipper looking young woman behind the counter, with a much larger one hammering at something in the back over an anvil.

“Can I help you with something?” she asked.

“Yeah, I was wondering if you could check on these Servitors and this girl’s slave chip thing behind her ear. I want to make sure that they’re all working properly - just a small checkup.”

“Ah, taking care of your gear, that’s good, that’s good!” she replied. “Those seem to be… Imperium-tech. Do they have any Slaanesh-tech? Or anything daemonic in there?”

“Slaanesh?” you ask.

“Sorry, I just assumed you were a Slaanesh cultist because of your slave here.”

“I actually don’t know what they have inside.” you admitted, being honest with this complete stranger, as you figured might just not see them ever again anyways. “If you could tell me what they got in there, I’d appreciate it too. Any daemonic stuff and such.”
>>
“Right! Do you have any upgrades in mind?” she asked. “We have a special offer on fuel tubing. We could replace a couple of those horrible old things with some fresh ones.”

The Servitor’s tubes didn’t seem horribly old to you, though. They were just trying to sell you stuff.

“No, that would be all for now.” you tell her. “Could I stay around as you do the stuff?” you also ask.

“Sure!” she replied. “Just bring the Servitors and stuff back here. Oh- and before you do.”

She pointed to a list with prices on the wall. “It’s going to be 3 thrones per Servitor, without any extras. Just diagnostics, but I can toss in a small fix in there if you want too. And 1 throne for the slave chip.”

Compared to the other price advertisements you saw while on the map, they were very average prices. There was indeed cheaper places, but this was one of the few ones that didn’t seem have Tzeentch iconography somewhere or something.

You gave her the cash, and she started working

------------------------

“So, how long have you been on the station?” she asked, as she unscrewed parts off of the Servitor’s head. Dijana waited in one of the seats against the wall, looking around at the place in awe.

“I just got here, actually.” you admit.

“Ah. Same here, almost. Me and my sister are from Julek.” she tells you and giggles, and then plugs one of her machines to a jack in the Servitor’s temple, and starts to browse through some holo-screens.

“So, I see a lot of remains of deleted files in here.” she tells you. “There’s… Only the bare minimum in here left. Basic language processing, uh… The operating system… It says that their master is ‘Dominic’, too. Should I change that? And let’s see what more there’s in here-”

The Servitor then suddenly stood up. “Holy shit - hold on there!” the engineer blurted out, and then flipped a switch and the cyborg dropped to the ground, lifeless. But then the other one got up and marched towards the girl, its back cannon whirring and getting into position to fire, and right then, Dijana leaped and tackled the machine down, and held it pinned against the floor, for the engineer to then rush over to its shoulder, and start to unscrew something.

“Stop, Victor!” you commanded it, as it struggled under the amazon. But it didn’t listen and kept on squirming.

“Hold it right there!” she told the huge chick, and then a small plate fell off, and she flipped a switch that was under it, making it also lose all strength and drop limp as well.

“I should check her slave chip” the technician then said, and quickly went to insert a thin wire into the tiny device, and looked back to the holo-screen in the middle of this room of the workshop.

“Yeah this is configured to the Servitors.” she said. “This should be fine once the Servitors guys are done.”
>>
“So, who is this Dominic guy?” she asked. “Did you steal this stuff from him? Heh.”

“No, he actually gave it to me as a part of a deal.” you admitted.

“Ah. The bastard.” she replied, amused.

-----------------------

After about an hour of more small talk and her working on the Servitors, they were finally configured to be at your full command. She let you know that they didn't have any weird daemonic tech in them, just very conventional engineering. She also informed you that they had quite a lot of ‘free space’ in their memory from all of the deleted content, but they still had the rudimentary basics of getting around and understanding basic commands and firing their weapons.

"And you don’t need to leave just yet, because I can get you some real nice stuff." the technician then suggested. “For the Servitors, I’ve got this - check it out. Auto-aim. I’d say it’s an essential for any weaponized Servitor. I have Bloodhound and Sala-Aim V3. But they’re pretty much the same thing, heh.”

You’re also somewhat tired. Activity hasn’t slowed at all around the station apparently, and given the shop schedules, it seems like people just go to sleep and are awake at their own pace around here.

> Get a hotel room at the port for all of you [16 thrones]
> Get a room at a cheaper inn in the deeper parts of the station [4 thrones]
> Stay awake and go try to rescue that Tech-Priest you heard mentioned earlier.

We should remove Dijana's slave ship, she doesn't deserve it i think. She seems nice.

And i don't think sleeping at a chaos cultist station is a good idea. We might want to consider just going to Mujj III and sleep there.
>>
>>4263591
> Write-in
Can we get a demonstration for the software? Something for my Servitors to shoot at before and uploading? How much to install the guns we have into the Servitors? How much to give e them the know how to reload, repair, etc.

> Stay awake and go try to rescue that Tech-Priest you heard mentioned earlier.
> Write-in
COOOOFFFFFFFEEEEEEEE. REEEEECAAAAAF. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!
It shouldnt be more than a cross or two.
>>
>>4263591
>>4263603
Uploading the Bloodhound onto the Servitors I mean. Can we set their weapons to low power to hit stuff? See how effective they are before and after uploading the software into them?
By the way, if it doesnt cost thrones to ask, then fuck is a cogitator?

>>4263600
Do you think that if we free the tech-priest, they'll remove the chip for us?
>>
>>4263610
We don't even know what kind of tech priest it is. I mean maybe, but are we even able? We'd need to do it and THEN rush to the portal as fast as we can.

I mean, i'm all for it, as long as it's doable. If he's just in some dinky unguarded cell in the middle of nowhere? No issue, but if he's being guarded by fucking khornites or something then that's an issue.
>>
>>4263614
I wanted to say "but we could melt the ornate silently with our baby girl Bubbles" but then I recall some Korn cultists being high octane empowered with enhanced combat prowess, so he could I guess bullshit dodge. Dunno. Damn. Or not? That one anon mentioned the risk or trying to kill the Rogue Trader plus his friends, but we did actually manage to kill them.
>>
>>4263591
> Stay awake and go try to rescue that Tech-Priest you heard mentioned earlier.
>>
>>4263625
True, true. But my point is, we should take care. Killing a rogue trader in a chaos cultist station? Sure, it has some danger if their crew can try to hunt you back, but that guy clearly didn't care too much.

Like i said, it depends on how well guarded he is. If they're just normal cultists, without full-on mutations we could sneak kill with bubbles (Bio-guns don't make loud noises when firing ,as far as i know, considering they're biological) , but if they're mutated cultists or emperor forgive, chaos space marines, then our chance of survival would be small.
>>
>>4263630
Maybe, if we're sly and lucky enough, we could negotiate with them to see if they can take the tech priest, and they can replace him with some other sacrifice. Perhaps even give us a time frame to replace their original intended sacrifice with another *cough cough* Dominic?
>>
>>4263625
We rolled a 91
>>
>>4263633
Dominic's too dangerous. He's a well-armed mechanicus priest that worked for a rogue trader and ran that big ship.

We should probably try to see who's guarding them and then see how big is our chance, but we shouldn't go on a suicide mission.
>>
>>4263637
Well yeah. It just something for us to consider should the choice be viable enough to consider taking.
>>
>>4263591
>Buy the Bloodhounds and free Dijana
>Go look for that Tech-Priest

I don’t see the point of going to Muj III, because it is just going to be another Tzeentch hive.
>>
>>4263655
Why would Muj III be a tzeentch hive? It's a random agri-world.
>>
>>4263655
>>4263661
> Go to Muj III [Agricultural planet, Magegate, 1 throne/person]
> Go to Giyis [Daemonic mining planet, Magegate, 1 throne/person]
> Go to Sampujol [Pleasure World, ostentatious paradise for nobility and the upper classes. Imperium. Magegate, 3 thrones/person]
> Try to hitch a ride back to Ghast. There is no public Magegate service that goes there (yet).
> Go to Julek [Frontier World, currently being colonized by the Imperium, although progress is very modest. Voidship/Conventional Warp travel, 5 thrones/person]
>Write in
There are no tzeentch hive on Muj III as far as we know until we ask, but the odds of there being a hive/den/hideout/open establishment of Tzeentch is relatively high considering you can take a Magegate to get there, and Magegates do not come across as Imperium approved to me. At the very least its bot described as hard on point Demonic. Not like Giyis. Let's NOT go to Giyis.
>>
>>4263661
>The only way off this place is going through a Magegate, which will take you to another Tzeentch settlement. Or using a ship like this one."
>Go to Muj III [Agricultural planet, Magegate, 1 throne/person]

A “Magegate” has to be some weird Tzeentchian hocus pocus for fast travel.
>>
>>4263665
Well, there's a high-ish chance, but it's cheap and relatively safe. Julek, for example, is a frontier world and being colonized, so the danger is obvious. Sampujol is a pleasure world, so you damn well know that there's slaneesh shit in there, BUT, Muj III is an agri-world, which means it's going to have a port, at the very least for cargo ships.

We can go there and THEN go to a safer planet.
>>
>>4263600
Wait, what happens when we remove her slave chip?
>>
>>4263737
Death by SNU SNU!
>>
>>4263757
If Ferdinand survived on an planet where the oceans are made of acid and tyranids and orks run about, he can survive snu snu with big tiddy cavewoman gf
>>
I love how we’re assuming that she’d even be romantically interested in us. She comes from a planet where she’d expect men to be tall and comically muscular, and we’re the opposite.

She might just be eyecandy and that’s it, like Navigator-chan.
>>
>>4263785
Hey, it doesn't hurt to try does it?
>>
>>4263785
We are so unusual and special than what shes expected and use to that she turns totally into a shota lover!
>>
>>4263798
How tall even is Fern anyway? He's not tall, that's for sure, but i don't think he's a straight up squat right? Or some kid-looking guy.

He strikes me as the...normal looking dude. You know, the one who's not buff but also not full bones? Considering the state of the planet he's in, i feel like he'd be like, i don't know, 1,67+? That was the average height of people several centuries ago.
>>
>>4263798
We'll see, but she doesnt seem particularly interested yet.

Also maybe withhold on the chip removal only for now, just in case we do need to spend the night at the station. Rent is expensive.
>>
>>4263816
If we're saving the tech priest, i don't think we'll have that chance.
>>
>>4263811
You're of a fairly normal height for a Ghastian guy of your age, about as tall as pic related. You're short compared to the cosmopolitan norm of the station.

Will post soon.
>>
>>4263832
He's not short. Hes just compact.
>>
>>4263832
I suppose my guess was pretty correct then - around the 165 mark.
>>
>>4263591
I should think of some kind of policy for this for next time, but there are a few ties that need to be broken:
- Removing Dijana's slavechip or not
- Bloodhound interest or not

Requesting a tiebreaker vote. First to vote decides.
>>
>>4263859
We should remove her chip
>>
>>4263859
Get the bloodhound

>>4263862
We can get the techpriest to do it. If we cant save the tech priest then we can remove the chip afterwards.
>>
>>4263878
IF we can.
>>
>>4263881
I forgot to add, if we can't, then aren't we going to be chased out of the station? Failing a break out means a real bad situation.
>>
>>4263883
Then we remove the chip on another planet. It's no big deal. Besides. The Bloodhound upgrades will be useful for breaking the techpriest out if he needs to be. A less violent alternative is always welcomed though.
>>
>>4263886
Fair enough, but still risky isn't it? Like, even if we get a bloodhound, if we have to deal with a marine or a mutated cultist, we're screwed.
>>
>>4263889
Then it's better to have and not need, then need and not have.

>>4263859
Are there other upgrades?
>>
>>4263816
What if we just make it so the chip just makes her unconscious or aroused not kill her?
>>
>>4263916
I don't really care.
>>
>>4263916
She doesn't deserve it, i reckon. That sounds unecessary.
>>
>>4263929
Having an chip in her brain, that is. It's not really good to have a chip in your brain that you didn't even choose to put.
>>
>>4263929
What does deserving it or not have anything to do with this?
>>
>>4263940
Because it's a decision we have to take, is it? We're not a slave trader or anything, so having her keep those tacky slave chips sounds excessive.
>>
>>4263859
Yes on Bloodhound, no on slave chip; it's too expensive for us right now.
>>
>>4263945
Doing either doesn't lock us in to a certain path, keeping it on for safety if she gets out of hand would prevent problems like her getting mad and pummeling us into pulp or getting out of hand at a bad time and smashing people we don't want to need to be smashed currently.
>>
“Give me the Bloodhound and uh, could you get the slavechip off of her?” you ask the young woman, after checking prices on the list.

“Sure can do! But... why do you want the chip removed? From her?” she asked.

“I think she deserves it off.” you reply. “Can you do it?”

“Alright. Sure, sure. No problem.” she tells you. “It’s going to take me a while to break the encryption but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Hopefully.”

--------------

After an hour of her uploading the software into the Servitors, and leaving Dijana’s chip hooked to the wall as she typed into a holographic panel for a while, she called for the help of the other woman technician, and together, they started to work on whatever they were doing, mentioning “this is high-level stuff” and “do we refund him if we can’t do it?”

Despite the problems, the chip did finally release a short depressurizing hiss, to the which the duo cheered with triumphant squeals.

“We did it, haha!” the smaller engineer exclaimed, and got over to the chip, and gently pulled it out as she held her ear to a side, revealing that it had a finger-long, extremely thin pin going into her skull from it, and then she put a bandaid on there once it was out. “There we go. All done. You can keep the chip if you want, but it’s sort of fried.”

Dijana rubbed the place here the chip was. Then her eyes bolted open. And she looked at you, and then to the exit of the workshop. And then back to you.

“Me… Out?” she asked, again.

“Yeah, you’re free now. No more chip.” you tell her.

And with that, she immediately ran out of the workshop.

“See, that’s why I was asking why I was asking why you wanted to remove it….” the technician girl said with a sigh.

You rushed to the exit as well, and from the doorway, you could see Dijana doing backflips as she bounced around the hallway, with the people there putting themselves closer to the walls to avoid her and looking at her bewildered.

Dijana soon after turned to where you were, and returned with a wide smile, her eyes full of joy. “Me… “ she started off, lost for words again.

“Big… “ she added, excited. “Uh…”

She gave up on trying to talk and kneeled and then put her head on you feet, and then rose it up and down, tapping.

“Dijana, kijou-hila, ato Fehrn kohu, *sniff* koooohu kohu kohu gima-hila-sameh.” she said, sniffling as her voice broke with tears.

She tapped your feet more with her forehead. “Kohu gima-hila, Kohu, kohu….”

“I think she’s grateful.” the engineer girl said “You, grateful?” she then said, and then bowed repeatedly, pantomiming her forehead-to-the-foot thing. “Grateful, grateful?”

“Dijana grateful! Kooooooohu kohu grateful!” the huge girl then spoke, and bowed to you in the exact same way that the engineer did, and wiped the tears off of the rosy, porcelain-perfect skin of her cheeks.
>>
“Thanks for this.” you then told the engineer.

“No problem.” she replied. “It’s sort of sweet to see this, honestly.”

--------------------

You exit the workshop and head towards the map in the restaurant area, and Dijana seems a lot more relaxed, smiling, nearly skipping around the hallways and looking at all of the things around her in enthusiastic wonder like a child in a theme park. She left you behind now and then, but would soon return to check on where you were. It seemed like she was sticking to orbiting around you.

You remember that this ritual thing was at a new chapel in the station, right? You get to the map, and browse and flip through the churches and shrines on various floors until you find one nearby, deeper into the station that seemed to be the one - it had an advertisement for a mass that was going to be held soon, with a crucified tech-priest featured on a banner with a dramatic graphic effect.

Knowing where to go now, you lead yourself and your group deeper into the station, passing by hallways of vendors and a small mall area, seeing less and less non-Tzeentchians as you went on and more of the blue-clad cultists, until you got to a place that was solely a plain spiral corridor downwards. Some parts of the plating of it had patches of blue flesh growing on it, which twitched and pulsated occasionally.

Slowly, creeping through the edge of your mind, background nonsense started to bleed into your consciousness. At first, it felt like some kind of noise or just your imagination from the lack of sleep, but it gradually got worse, until clearer psychodelia started to dance in your thoughts, imagery and sounds pulled and orchestrated from your memory into a bizarre, disturbing show of melody and forms.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf8HY0d9NSY

Dijana held her head and stared into the floor, and then looked around herself, confused. You felt Bubbles squirm slightly as it held onto your back as usual. The Servitors just stood as usual too, but you could see their veins being more pronounced under their skin, as if they were under tension.

It was tolerable for you though, being more of a nuisance than a real obstacle like mosquitos on a hot day, but you didn’t know how much deeper you could go, or how long you’d able to endure while deeper.

The people around you didn’t seem to be affected at all, and some scoffed as they passed by you. A few of them had pamphlets featuring the chapel, and commenting things like “I hope to see the tech-priest!” or “Make sure you behave in church now, Timothy. Alright? Stay put, and do like the others do.”

We could leave Dijana at a restaurant with a servitor ,and take one with us.

Yeah, but the risk that i was talking about would be what would happen to Dijana and the other. I mean, i don't think Dijana knows how to operate a servitor, and i don't want to think about what'd happen if some slaneeshi took interest on her.

If we had a safer place to let her, then that'd be the best choice, but i don't think the restaurant is said safe place.

You go deeper down, and the visions and sounds only get worse. It gets louder, more chaotic, and over overwhelming. It becomes so severe that these intrusive thoughts of gibberish and nonsense become as clear as your normal senses, and your normal senses become as intangible and far as your thoughts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V4jwJrng3w

There is a pop from Victor, and a soft stream of blood starts to flow from his forehead from a small bash where a vein burst open, and then he collapses to the ground and starts to spasm, and then it all stops.

“E-EM-M-ERGENCY SHUTDO-” it stammers.

His limbs fall dead to the floor. It’s just like when he was turned off. Except this time, nobody pressed a switch.

Where were you? It was hard to tell. Everything was so blurry, and it was hard to focus. Tobias was shaking like a boiling kettle, and you could make out that Dijana was near, tanking this the best she could, stoically trying to act like if it wasn’t affecting her.

“Hey, please don’t leave your garbage next to the chapel.” someone told you. “First timers, sheesh.”

“Sorry about that.” you reply.

You try to focus and you notice that there’s quite a lot of people here, all waiting in front of an ornate building that seems to be made more out of flesh than metal, talking to each other about the ceremony that was about to unfold, and when the doors were going to open to get in.

You also noticed a distinct patch of blur was different from the rest, like if it was going at its own suave tune - although still horribly chaotic. Again, you tried to concentrate, and you saw that it was a handheld holo-display of a certain bald individual, with tubes into his eyes, mouth and nose, with what seemed to be floating balls of sensory organs above him, surrounded by holograms, gas and more tubes. They were talking to a cultist.

“Fifty thrones.” the figure in the hologram said. “If you help with Santos’ ship.”

“But Monsieur Tessero, with all due respect I’m about to enter mass. This is a very important event, I can’t-”

One huuundred thrones.” he insisted. “But not a single scratch on the…”

You heard him slurp saliva loudly. “...treaaaaaasures within. Do you understand?”

“Who is there?” the cultist asked. “Santos, the navigator, who else?”

“Only Dooominic, my dear. The Servitor whore.”

“I’m on it. Where do we meet?” the cultist replied, and started to go back up the corridor that led back to the port.

"Hey, there's the Tech-Priest! They're carrying him in! There he is!" you then heard people cheer, and in the distance, there seemed to be a small parade of a dozen people, featuring a crucified robotic figure being carried on a platform.

>Contract between Santos and Tessero
>Very similar to Order 12039-A, but it has a different font and structure. It lists a bunch of people's names with prices next to them and a total, though. It seems like Santos is to deliver these people to Tessero on Davashi, or something along those lines.
Oh so this warp guy is Tessero huh? Was Dijana's name on it? That could be bad.

>What do
Tell Dijana to pick up Victor, take the other servitor and wait with the nice mechanic lady.
Let's talk to this Mr. Monsieur Tessero and see if we can get that Tech Priest as a slave and some thrones in exchange for getting whatever is on Dominic's ship. 100 thrones is sweet.

>>4264285
You don't have any ideas?
>>
>>4264285
>>4264288
Glad I can be helpful with my rolling. I don't have a idea tho
>>
>>4264288
I don't know what exactly you mean.

I mean, it looks like we're late, right? The mass started and tech priest man has been crucified, right?

Telling Dijana to take victor and the other servitor is a good idea - as long as we can tell the servitor who hasn't been screwed up to go on guard mode.

But i don't know what you mean by the rest, and no, i do not have any plans
>>
>>4264290
Crisified doesnt mean dead, and Tech Priests are mostly metal. The big mutant guy in OP's pic related looks important. We do a job for him, get payed, and we get a tech priest.
>>
>>4264296
But isn't the guy being hired the cultist? Why would he suddenly change his mind?

Also, while i know that he's probably still alive, how would we free him from the middle of an mass? Like, unless that bob guy does turn into a chaos spawn and goes at a rampage that breaks into the mess and creates a big confusion at this very moment, there's not a lot that would allow us to save him.
>>
>>4264288
+1
>>
>>4264304
I open to ideas if you have any. This guys looks really hard to look at so he must be important. If hes important then he can swap out the tech priest with someone else. Let's say Dominic. We offer to help his cultist(s) beat up Dominic to get whatever he wants in the ship, and we get the Tech Priest only if he's alive, not crazy, and is still super functional.
We beat up Dom with our new temp cultist coworkers / fodder, and you know maybe swap out Dom with the Tech Priest. Anything goes with RNG dice.
>>
>>4264317
But here's the thing bruh, the ritual already started. Had we perhaps done this deal before it would've worked, but it already started. The only way to save that priest would be to literally walk into the church and pry him off the cross.
>>
>>4264317
*I'm open

>>4264304
So really either the cultist is going to fail or succeed, and depending on the cultist that might leave Dominic dead as a result. If we just so happen to be there to help and ensure the capture of dominic then who's going to care between crucifying the Tech Priest or him?

>how would we free him from the middle of an mass?
Da biggist got makes all da rulz. Tessero looks loik uh real big git, so that warped squig could pausz da mass until we get tha replacement humie mechboy Dom.

>>4264323
Ya git ya dont know grox til ya ask.
>>
>>4264323
So you dont have any suggestions since we're here? We gotta do something before Fern's brain melts through his ears.
>>
>>4264324
I'm saying that it'd be too late, you know what i mean? Like, the ritual already started. If the job had happened before and we had time to go capture dominic and THEN free the tech priest, we could have tried that, BUT!

It already started. I mean, if he can pause the mass and switch the priest, then that's cool and all, but what are we going to do otherwise?
>>
>>4264334
That's why we should ask. What's wrong with asking?
>>
Just to clarify the Tessero situation, he is talking to a Tzeentch cultist who went to the mass thing, like this.
>>
>>4264317
The problem is that Tessero is ALREADY going after Dominic, presumably to get the slaves of the Tessero x Santos contract by force (which includes Dijana). Even if we did go after Dominic, it seems like Tessero is already gathering henchmen to gank him himself.

I say we get the fuck out of here and get on a ship to Muj III before someone realizes that we have Dijana.
>>
>>4264268
Let's get out of dodge.
>>
>>4264374
I feel like this might be a good idea, we already lost one servitor just by going here. We should get out before we lose another, or even worse, Dijana. She was just freed.
>>
Making this a proper vote
>>4264268
>Tell Dijana to carry the busted Servitor, discreetly flee and pay that ride to go to Muj III.
>>
>>4264362
So i'm going to guess that the cultist is within the crowd, right?
>>
>>4264395
I'll just put my vote here too to make it easier
+1
>>
>>4264362
Well that would had made a whole bunch of more sense if you put it like that.

>>4264374
Well this changes things. What I'd we fuck off. Wait for Dominic to get assaulted, then pick through the remains?
>>
>>4264481
Hell no, they'd be searching for Dijana. She's worth like 500k crowns, isn't she? We can't risk her.
>>
>>4264492
Who said anything about involving Dijana? We still have the 1 servitor left.
>>
>>4264503
And where would we leave Dijana while we're doing that?

I mean, she's not exactly good at being conspicuous is she? We can't just leave her on an restaurant, she'd end up being snatched by them, or even worse, by slaneeshi cultists.
>>
>>4264508
She's not a defenseless limp wristed noble girl. She looks like she could snap an Astartes in half with all those muscles. Get her a mask robes and hood to hid her body and hair and you'd think she might be a large cultist.
>>
>>4264517

It's true that she's strong, but it's chaos people we're dealing with, and i'm pretty sure it's a tzeentch one.

You know, the kind that would probably use death brain waves or some shit? If he's storming an rogue trader's ship then i seriously doubt he's just a lone dude with a normal gun.

>Get her a mask robes and hood to hide her body
Unless we have some kind of bed sheet, i don't think we would have robes and a hood large enough to cover her 'assets'.
>>
>>4264534
Only if it's one of those cloaks that touches the floor, or else our feet would be peeking out. Unless you can think of a way of that not happening

>>
>>4264539
>i seriously doubt he's just a lone dude with a normal gun.
and I seriously doubt Santos was just some scrub human but he died all the same.

> i don't think we would have robes and a hood large enough to cover her 'assets'.
There is thing called money. You use it to buy things. Like clothes.

>>4264543
Weird four legged mutants. It's not unheard of.
>>
>>4264543
Would it really be that jarring to see a huge, four-legged creature in this universe?
>>
>>4264552
Yeah, but is there like, an fuckin' clothes store in the middle of the station, one with gigantic cloaks?

I mean, we might as well buy astartes size. If we can find it.
>>
>>4264550
I don't know, but I wanna throw out there that tits shaped armor is dumb and it makes me angry. If you got boob armor and someone aims for the chest, it's gonna deflect off the inner side boobs and hit your sternum. Sort of the same deal with bullets.
>>
>>4264550
Why not? She was specifically selected for a Slaanesh cultist. In the vast galaxy, why wouldn’t there be someone, somewhere, like that?

Space Stations are big. It's simply a matter of not pussy footing around and check a terminal for any existing clothes stores and vendors.

>>4264565
>She was specifically selected for a Slaanesh cultist.
Wait a fuck what. Oh fuck does this mean they're gonna molest the grandpa?
>>
>>4264565
I guess being bred like that as a slave makes sense. Although, her boobs seem highly impractical (I bet she couldn't even clap). If we get the chance, we should convince her to reduce her boob size.

Besides, booty is better.

>>4264579
She wasn't bred as a slave, though, she was taken from her homeworld, remember?

The primal one.

RIP I hope we can get our servitor babies fixed once we have the money. Maybe some mini gallar fields or something.
Oh shit were those gellar clones going to be used to warp resistant servitors?
>>
>>4264593
Their Gellar pskyer probably died or something and they needed a replacement. Gellar Fields are powered by one.

They have (pskyer!!) clones, and have a Slaanesh dude that wants ‘exotic genetic material’, so I assume that this station has a big genetic engineering business.

>>4264579
Also, not happening. We’re canonically into giant tits, check our ship back on Ghast.
>>
>His room was nearly entirely covered in gorgeous and hyper-realistic art which was hard to fully appreciate through the grainy quality of the holo-display. One of his walls depicted a snowy mountain peak and a forest of weird tree or mushroom like-things at its base, with a group of men fighting a massive beast by wrestling it as a group.
I wonder if they had tyranids on their home world.

>>4264598
We melted their astropath yeah. I wonder if we could steal one. The clones I mean. It would be cool if a Servitor pskyer could be done.
>>
>>4264603
A Navigator isn’t an Astropath. Astropaths are human telephone lines, Navigators are the only ones who can sail a voidship through the Warp for long jumps.

Gellar fields are just powered by some comatose psyker.

From the wiki:

>In truth, the Gellar Field is a field of reality whose source emanates from the dreams of a psyker kept in a hibernating, comatose state. In their coma, they psychically project an aura of normality around the ship in which the physical laws of realspace still apply. The voidship effectively shields itself within the dreaming psykers' projections of reality which serves as the "bubble" of realspace that pushes back the Immaterium for a time. However, these psykers generally lose their lives through this process after a relatively short time, which means that any Warp-capable voidship must have new psyker "batteries" to replace the old at a consistent pace.
>>
>>4264615
Emperor Christ this just gets more grimdark the more I learn about the setting. So we killed their Navigator and not their Astropath. Oh it's making more sense now.

We killed the Navigator. The Astropath iis probably still on the ship. The Gellar Clones are effectively Gellar Field Batteries. Wow this Games Workshop. Wow.

Could be just normal megafauna. Could be tyranids. We could show Dijana a picture of a tyranid (or bubbles but that could be dangerous) and see how she reacts.

Fucking hell. You knew you had to get out of there - your jaw clenched down on itself. But you knew you couldn’t be obvious about this, of course. You didn’t want to tip off the people around here.

However, with all of this gibberish and shit going on, clouding your senses, it was hard to do anything at all.

But, fuck it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJo_3B5-1uk

Your fists closed. If this crazy mindfuckery wanted to screw with you, so be it. If one of your Servitors had fallen, so be it. If Tessero was after Dijana and the slaves, so be it. Let destiny and the galaxy throw at you whatever they felt like, let them throw everything.

NONE of it, was going to stop you.

If they wanted to have you see crazy bullshit, so be it. You stopped trying to block and ignore all of the craziness all out of yourself, and took it all in, letting your mind marinate in the hell and nightmares that it tried to submerge you in.

Lying to yourself? That’s what cowards do - that’s what the voice was doing, hiding itself, whispering its taunts. No, you were taking this head on.

Catch me if you can, then.

….

And the voice fell silent. By sheer force of will, you waded through the still-lingering miasma of horror, but with renewed strength. Sure, you were still seeing and hearing in the background of your head a show of everyone you knew die in horrible ways repeatedly, gore in geometries you didn’t think was even possible, and all other kinds of bullshit, but you just didn’t give a fuck.

“Dijana, grab Victor.” you told her, focused, serene, gesturing yourself holding the robot, and then pointing back up the corridor. “We’re getting out of here.”

She nodded, twitching now and then, and tucked the Servitor under her shoulder.
>>
--------------------

Together, you left back to the port area. Dijana’s face was beaming her relief, and Tobias seemed back to their normal self. But you had no time to lose, you had to get off this place. Remembering the map info you found earlier, you get over to the ship area that would carry you to Muj III. There were several large, blocky cargo vehicles with a sort of plant logo painted on them, each ship similar in size to Santo’s own vessel, with several room-sized containers being loaded or unloaded from the back of a couple of them. And in the front of one of those, there was a man taking money from passengers who each got into the ship with their luggage.

You bought tickets for yourself, Dijana and the two Servitors, and you entered the ship, finding a large room with a few rows of out-of-place plastic seats bolted into the steel hull of this part of the ship. You got into one, and Dijana left the unconscious Servitor into another, and she squeezed herself into another, her monster sized thighs and buttocks making it difficult for her to fit into the normal-sized seatings.

--------------------

Eventually, more passengers got on, mostly regular-looking civilian cultists and a few non-cultists, and the ship floated off the dock, and levitated out of the station, flying off into the vast space outside the station.

Then, it hung mid-space for a while and angled itself carefully. From the window you could see that it was attempting to aim itself into another of those portals you saw earlier at Ghast that was floating out here, one full of horror and wrongness. The Servitor was just staring into the front wall of the ship, but Dijana’s eyes were darting back and forth from the portal and away from it, nervous, until she opted to just hold her precious huge amber eyes shut.

This time around it was a lot less scary than that first time, though. After that experience at the chapel, it just wasn’t as overwhelming anymore. But you could tell that it still got to Bubbles, as she shivered under your cloak, holding onto you more tightly.

The ship’s engines suddenly turned on, and accelerated, racing into the interdimensional opening. And before you could fully realize it, you were inside.

The windows showed a gallery of terrible imagery, humanoid figures twisting and warping, pink clouds and storms writhing, electricity jumping between it all - you decided not to look at it for long, and opted to pay attention to stroking the back of Bubbles under your clothing. You then felt Dijana hold your other hand, shivering in fear, her skin covered in goosebumps, until shortly after… She fell unconscious. Tobias emitted “EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN.” and went blank as well.

Through another portal, you exited the Magegate’s hall and emerged in the stratosphere of a planet nearly entirely covered in orderly patches of colored ground. The ship descended, soon arriving to a small rural town with a station with more ships parked around made of steel and technology like the station had, but you could see from your vantage point that the rest of the town was mostly just wooden houses. Roads radially emerged from here, disappearing into the infinite crop fields.

Another cargo ship like yours passed by, ascending, as you continued to go down, presumably to enter the Magegate you had just gone through.

The cargo travelled and stopped into one of the parking areas of the station. After a short delay, you heard something attaching to the ship outside. “We have arrived to Muj III. We eagerly await your next travel with Easy-Argi, and hope you’ve had an inspiring travel. May Tzeentch be with you.” you then heard the ticket guy from before say, as he popped in from outside, opening the door for you to leave. The other passengers gradually stood up and started to get out, and you woke up the other to get moving a well.

--------------------

You got off the ship and wandered with the rest of the crowd from it over to the main central area of the station, where the passengers dispersed and started to each go their own way. It was a massive circular hall, with big windows that let you see the bay where ships constantly arrived and left from, fields of crops you had never seen before, and a modest town further ahead.

“Magegate 392-A to Davashi, please board.” you heard a megaphone voice say. There were also big screens here with lists of places and times - and “MAGEGATE 392-A -- DAVASHI -- 36:29 -- NOW BOARDING” was one of them. There were more places listed under it, all of them “Magegate” then some numbers and letters, followed by ‘Davashi’ most of the time, but sometimes other places, like Giyis.

The place was mostly Tzeentch cultists, although their clothing seemed a lot more simple and modest than those on the station, but they kept the similar mode of blues, purples and horned masks.

Look around for information on other towns on this planet. If there is a non-Chaos/Tzeentch one, go there. From that place we can look to get another ride off to some safe planet.

Being just within one trip of Davashi doesn’t feel particularly safe from Tessero just yet. Especially being surrounded by more cultists. (Even if they are just civilians).

You decide to go get some food, approaching one of the few humble restaurants that were at this place. You got the menu that was printed on paper from one of the tables and started to look through the pictures, names and prices, not finding anything that you were familiar with. At least back on Davashi they had Ghast food - here, there was nothing of that.

They had something that looked like fish? Maybe it was fish. There were plenty of salads as well, but none were in the style of the seaweed dishes you knew.

You noticed a pair of non-cultists dressed casually like one of the Davashi people would, with one of them eating what seemed to be a kind of soup.

“May I seat you, sir?” a waiter asked you, holding a pen and a clipboard.

“Yeah. Uh, three people.” you tell him.

“You eat, right?” you asked the Servitor. “YES.” it replied.

“Yeah. Three.” you confirmed. “Very well. And what would you like to order?”

It seemed odd to you that he’d ask that before you were even seated, but maybe that was just how they did things around here. Different cultures, and all.

“Four soups like they’re having.” you tell him, raising four fingers.

Dijana then pointed to herself, and pointed to a cultist’s plate of steak with a bit of salad. Then she showed six fingers with her two hands, and then pointed to herself eagerly.

“You want six steaks?” you asked her. “Six. Those. For you?” you explained, gesturing.

Then she opted to show seven fingers.

“Seven?” you asked. She replied by shaking her hands with the number lightly for emphasis.

“Fine, seven of those too.” you conceded to the waiter.

“That will be 1 throne and 6 crosses.” he tells you.

“Oh. I pay before eating?” you ask.

“Yes.” he replies.

-----------------------

You got to the table, and as you waited, Dijana found a stool for herself, which she replaced the regular steel chair with, because she wouldn’t fit. Then, you waited in silence.

Dijana then showed you a finger. And touched her mouth and then showed the finger again.

“What?” you asked.

She showed the finger again, and then touched her mouth. And then showed two fingers. Then three.

“Oh.” you reply. You hold her intoxicatingly smooth hand back to showing just one. “One.” you tell her. Then you pry open another finger. “Two.” and then the others. “Three, four, five.”

She smiled back. And then she pointed to the table’s legs. “Four.” she said.

“Yeah, There are four of those.” you reply. “Four.”

She pointed then to the top of the table. “One.” she tells you. “Yeah, you got it.” you say back.

After more time of teaching her numbers, she learnt quickly, the meals arrived with the help of the waiter and what seemed to be a cook. They pulled another table next to yours, and laid out the small buffet for you.

“Enjoy.” they told you with a smile.
>>
Dijana immediately started to devour the meat and its salad with her hands. You got your spoon and calmly ate your spoon, and the Servitor did as well, robotically.

The soup tasted like ass. It had bits of fish and vegetables in it, but it was bitter for you. There was a small tray with flasks of what seemed to be spices and some other fluids on your table, and you inspected each one, trying their flavor on your spoon until you noticed one that was marvelous - something called “vinegar.”

You poured a bunch of it into your soup, mixed it in, and continued eating. Now, it tasted like proper soup, to you. For good measure you added in another dose of vinegar and continued eating.

-----------------------

Once you finished your meal, you went off to look for a place that could get Victor fixed, who was still being carried around by Dijana. Thankfully, here in the station there was a repair shop, although their business seemed to mostly consist of large engine parts and other ship contraptions. You got over to them, and asked if they could fix Victor for you.

“Yeah, he had an emergency shutdown. And he hasn’t woken up since.” you told them, after a small chat about what your issue was.

“We can give it a look.” the cultist behind the counter replied. “Seems like a typical data overload - you shouldn’t really go around with Servitors made from people who weren’t faithful, because they’ll fry like this. We’ll have to jumpstart him, but it’s not too serious. It’s going to be 4 thrones.”

“Yeah. Thanks.” you reply, pulling out the money. “But, how fast could it be done?”

“Half an hour?” he told you.

-----------------------

Once Victor was repaired and running again, you went looking for information, finding a small touristic booth with a bored-looking cultist clerk and a rack with pamphlets about the planet. The brochures highlighted how you could enjoy peace and quiet here, and have real rural food.

Through scouring them, you figured out that there were three main ‘countries’ of a sort on this planet for the relatively few people that lived there. The Tzeentchian colony of Matze, the Imperial colony of Westmark, and a lower ring of ghost towns and cities around a massive and ancient railroad system that is obsolete and in ruins, but that has been classified as being home to ‘Imperial hippies and anarchists’ by the brochure, and called the ‘Ringlands’.

Figuring that a bunch of hippies wouldn’t likely have a voidship around them like Santos had to be able to perform long-distance travel, you decide to go to the edge of Westmark territory, for now.

-----------------------
>>
You manage to get a ride on a series of dingy bus-ships which were operated by the local people that connected the populace of this planet across its vast and endless farmlands, spanning an informal network across villages and towns. Thankfully, they were pretty cheap, given how their economy was modest and low-class. The trips took hours, and you slept on the rides as they went, but you eventually got to places with less and less cultists, and more and more plain-looking and conservatively dressed people. The frontier between Chaos land and Imperial land didn’t seem to be clear-cut, and both sides seemed to tolerate each other and for the most part, just politely ignored the opposing side.

It was hard to tell if you were in Westmark already or not, but you arrived to a town that seemed to be entirely non-cultist: Milltown, which you decided to disembark to.

It had a large stone and gold church in the middle in honor of the Emperor, with not much else aside of note.

But, as you stood at the bus stop (really just a big scrap pole in the ground which people gathered around to wait) and looked around to get your bearings, when an elderly but official-looking man with a gun at his hip approached you.

“Well hello there sirs and ma’am.” he told you, with a country accent. “Ya coming from the Matze, aren’t cha, ya heretic scum?”

How did he know? You shrugged. “It’s been a long trip, sorry. I don’t-”

“C’mon, Johnson.” a young woman said, holding a baby.

Commissar Johnson.” the man corrected.

“They ain’t looking Matze to me, look at their clothing.” she continued, and then pointed to Dijanas nearly-white hair. “And she is a blondie. They’re obviously not Mujies.”

And your face and Dijana’s were fairly clearly of a different race than the iberian/mediterranean-looking faces of the Imperial citizens here.

The man then grabbed his gun and stuck it against Dijana’s gargantuan bosom. “Dressing like a-” he started off, but Dijana immediately retaliated by grabbing his forearm and tilting it away.

“A prostitute!” he continued, fearlessly staring back at the immense girl. “And look at her form, her bosom - tainted by Chaos! Her unnatural beauty! She is a daemon, sent by the Dark Ones! Heresy, I tell you! I know it when I see it! Filth! Breast monster! Matze garbage!”

People didn’t seem to care too much, though, and the mother rolled her eyes. Dijana eventually let go too.

"Die Slaanesh scum!" Johnson yelled once free and started pulling the trigger on his gun towards Dijana as she prepared to try to dodge, but no bullets came out.

"Can you leave them alone?" the mother asked.

"I have to protect the Imperium!" he insisted, and continued pulling the trigger. "Die, DIE, CORRUPT SCUM!"

We should dress like them and make Dijana a fatsuit and a robotic helmet or something to make her seem like an obese half-cybernetic someone.
>>
>>4265599
Giving her a gigantic cloak like they said before sounds better, it's an agri-world so if we both use peasant cloaks then we'll just look like some crop-picking randos

Making her look cybernetic and fat could garner some more attention around theseparts.

True, but it's still going to get more attention in the majority of places right?

Point is, i don't think you can go wrong with a cloak and a mask. I just don't think that making her look like some obese half-cybernetic is great for mingling into the crowds.

It is indeed happening. There is explicitly a war going on beyond Ghast, and that the 10k sons would eventually return to Davashi to suck it dry to fuel the fighting.

But we’re avoiding getting into trouble for no reason. Anyone fancy going to the frontlines just to see some RIP AND TEAR? We’d die, lol.

If the usual 40k is about a bunch of ideological crusades against each other, we’re currently moving in the missionary side of the conflict, the mundane in the shadow of the military. And I really like that, because it’s different.

“Please calm down grandpa. Ma'am is he always like this? Can we ignore him or is he just going to hurt himself?” you ask the woman, and then carry on on your way, ignoring him.

“Don’t run away, kiddo! I bet ye suck dicks! Slaanesh fiends the lot of you!” he insisted, but other townsfolk started to lead him away and tried to have him be less of a public embarrassment.

You wandered into the town, looking for a store to buy clothing at. Because until now, you’ve been going around with your cloth poncho and respirator for Ghast - you looked pretty odd among everyone else here. And Dijana was half-naked.

You soon reached a small plaza with a screen in the middle showing a holo-drama and people spectating, with a couple of stores around the edges with signs that said what they were. A dentist, a convenience store… a clothing store. There we go. You entered, finding a pair of young men trying out fancy looking vests with metal studs in them, but you soon saw a section of the average clothing for the people here. The lads dog-whistled at Dijana, and started to loudly comment among themselves.

“Dude, we should get Metzies more often, look at those tits.” one of them chuckled.

“Hey, girl. You’re from the other side, right?” the other asked her. Dijana rose an eyebrow, and then pretended to ignore them. Meanwhile, you picked out a set that seemed to be your size as you kept an eye on the situation.

“She’s playing hard to get.” the other replied and laughed. “Who is that shorty anyways? Her servant or something?”

A woman emerged from a room behind the counter, and saw the two punks harassing your former slave. “Cut it out.” she barked at them. “Sir, ma’am. May I help you?”

“I’d like to buy these.” you told her, showing the attire you had picked out.

“Don’t you want to try em out?” she wondered.

You had never really bought clothing like this before, so you didn’t know you got to do that. Back in the markets of Ghast there wasn’t that kind of option. You just had to sort of make due with what there was - picking among sizes of clothing was a luxury.

“Uh, sure.” you tell her. “Also, do you have clothing for someone like her? A cloak, perhaps?”

The other two guys just stood around and whispered among themselves as they gobbled Dijana with their eyes.

“I can see that is she is… Big.” the clerk said. “I could uhm. I could make something for her, if you’d like.”

“Sure. How long would that take?” you ask her.

“Not much? A day, or so.”

“Do you accept crosses as payment?” you asked.

“Crosses?” she wondered.

“Would thrones do?” you then asked.

“Oh! Yes, definitely.” she replied. “How… how many thrones would you like to pay, esteemed sir?”

“...Two?” you said.

“D-definitely!” she replied. “That sounds excellent. I’ll have the cloak made shortly too. Any color preference, fabric…?”
>>
“Hey, Dijana.” you then asked the girl. “I’m going to get you something.”

------------------------

After haphazardly trying to get her to understand that you were going to buy her a big cloak, she eventually chose a plain gray cloth for it, seemingly getting the idea that she had to hide how she was so different. Her extreme figure was still noticeable from how her breasts, buttocks and muscles would tent the fabric outwards in places, but at least she’d look a lot less blatant.

You return to the plaza just outside to wait for the lady to finish making the supersized cloak, and you look at the screen that plenty of others were looking at as well.

“But I LOVE you, James” an Imperial-looking woman said, swooning against a man in combat gear, on the horrid quality of the screen.

“I’m sorry, M-M-Mirabella.” he said, the image glitching out for a moment. “But my love for the Glorious Emperor of Mankind burns brighter. Mankind needs me. He needs me.”

“Oh James!”

And with that, a “To be Continued” sign occupied the screen.

Right after, there was a small intro of a miniature of Muj IIJ flying around, with “Evening News” flying with it as well, until they settled into the middle. Then, it disappeared, and a sharply dressed man with glasses appeared on the screen with ‘Governor Zalee’ on a plaque on the desk he was sitting behind. And behind him, there was a bookshelf with several scrolls and other literature. “Good evening, Westmark. Splendid episode, for sure.” he said, and adjusted his glasses.

“Let’s get to the news.” he added, and looked at his stack of papers. “Southtown has recently broken the record for the highest harvest of Redwheat by a 10% margin.”

He nodded with warm pride as he looked at the paper, and then looked straight at the camera. “Please, a round of applause for these hard-working citizens.” he said with panache, and started applauding himself. “Redwheat is the blood of the Imperium, and you, farmers, give us life to us all with the sweat of your brow. I’m sure the Emperor would be grateful for the honorable work of Southtown.”

The audience applauded as told to do, but you heard a few people gossip among themselves. “Those guys are a cheat’n, though. They’re all be hiring those cheap Metzies to do all of the hard work.”

------------------------

After more news and congratulations to the population for reaching different goals, the shopkeeper told you that the cloak was finished.

Dressed in her new cloak, Dijana seemed a lot more… decent, now. She still got weird looks now and then from people, though, but you could notice a the difference from the “how scandalous” kind of looks from before, to the quiet curiosity and bewilderment that she got now.

We should try to go to some place that doesn't have chaos influence. It's an agri-world, so we can most likely find some ship that'll go to an place that doesn't have uh, chaos.

I'd say we should rest, but the problem is that we're going to run out of money soon, and we can most likely sleep on the ship if we're not going irish-style travelling.
>>
>>4265913
>Excuse me Mister Santos. Sorry for the intrusion. I'd like to inform you that Master Zalee has accepted your order with identification 12039-A, and the payment has been accepted as well.

Zalee was selling to Santos
Tessero was buying from Santos
>>
>>4265917
A single throne is probably enough for a night or several. Since we're here we might as well try to make some money while we're at it, because if we don't make any then what then?
We're already in the Imperial colonies territory. Maybe they might have a grox and squig issue we could take care of. Or we can head due south of the hemisphere to the Ringlands and do jobs Mad Max or Fallout style.

>>4265922
>Contract between Santos and Tessero
>Very similar to Order 12039-A, but it has a different font and structure. It lists a bunch of people's names with prices next to them and a total, though. It seems like Santos is to deliver these people to Tessero on Davashi, or something along those lines.
It's weird. You may or may not be right depending on if gellar clones can still bbe considered people. Santos had slave stock in addition to acquiring some Gellar "Batteries" so I'm not sure if the Zalee <-- Santos --> Tessero proxy thing is there.
>>
>>4265928
It’s not a proxy thing. They are separate Chaos businessmen as far as I understand, and Santos dealt with both.
>>
>>4265928
Alright then, let's see if we can get an cheap enough inn to at least sleep one night. Then we can go search for a quick job. While an agri-world usually wouldn't have those, i believe, this planet is, well, split into three so we'll most likely find something interesting.
>>
>>4265931
So Zalee ordered the clones through Santos so he could deliver the clones to the agri world?
>Order 12039-A
>It is some kind of very plain receipt. It's a stamped invoice for a price in some 'Sliths' currency, with a list of a bunch of products and their prices. "Gellar Clones" is among them. A total is at the bottom, which is the amount that was paid to Master Zalee. Nothing else.
>>
>>4265937
No idea. I just know that a Tzeentch cultist was the person who informed Santos that the Order was approved or something.

Imperial Governor somehow manages to send a cultist messenger on a fucking Chaos space station. Looks very suspicious to me.
>>
That or Master Zalee and Gov’na Zalee aren’t the same person but that seems a lot less likely to me.

You decide to go try find someplace to rest. Despite that it seemed to be midday here, you hadn’t slept much aside from the snooze you got on the trip here, and you had no idea if the Servitors were sleepy. Or if Dijana was. And it had been quite a lot of hours since you first met, so you figured it was about time for a proper rest.

You asked around the plaza people around the television if there was an inn here, or something. But they shook their heads. “Nothing like that around here.” one of them told you. “You’re going to have to get deeper into the country for something like that.” another mentioned.

“I can rent ya a room.” an elderly man then told you, holding onto his cane. “Daughters aint here right now, they be out study’n. You’re travellers, right? So a throne for all of the rest you’d need for you and your here companions.”

“Sure.” you replied, assuming he wasn’t literal when he was implying here that you could stay indefinitely. “Works for me.”

-------

The man introduced himself as Samuel, and he lead you to a cottage on the edge of the town, and then to a spacious room with three beds in it. “Don’t be touching anything please, but if ya just want a bed to be a sleep’n in, this can do for ya.”

“This would be great.” you replied. “Thank you, Samuel.”

“Don’t worry. Rest well. I’m on the other side of the house most of the time if ya need me for anythin.”

-------

You got into bed, and Dijana followed you lead and took a bed as well. And then, you slept. The Servitors just laid on the floor, and slept as well, ignoring the leftover bed.

-------

After sleeping through the rest of the day, waking up in the evening and just going back to sleep for the night, you eventually wake up to the sound of stones grinding against each other in the morning. You see that the the Servitors are standing and staring into nowhere next to the wall, and nearby, Dijana scratching something into slabs of rock with a smaller, different colored and smaller rock. The slabs seemed to be the ones that some parts of town had tiled on the ground, like the plaza area.

“Morning.” you tell them.

“GOOD MORNING.” the Servitors replied.

“Gohd Morning.” Dijana imitated. Then, she got over to you, and held your hand and pulled you towards the collection of slabs. “Me talk, Fern ears?” she asked.

“Sure, I’ll listen.” you replied, guessing what she meant.

Dijana then arranged the slabs, putting then into a sort of 3-picture comic, putting aside leftover ones.

She then gestured to the first one, it seemed to be a family tree of a sort.
>>

Dijana pointed to the top of the tree, a small figure between two larger ones. “Dijana”. And then to the other two. “Dijana Mama. Mayajana”. “Dijana Baba. Amjul”. And then she pointed to several dead looking women around Amjul. “Dijana Wa-mama, Jujana, Hijana, Lulujana, Kajana, Jajana.” Then further down the tree, she pointed to man which had something in his hand and a sun and rainbow in a circle next to him. “Dijana Ba-baba. Hoojul.” she explained.

Then, she put her cheek to the people in general in the tree. “Musubi.” she cooed. She then put her hand on her heart the best she could, and then she stroke it over the tree figure. “Dijana Musubi. Koku Musubi.” Curious, you point to the many smaller female figures that appear to be dead, next to Amjul. “Dead?” you ask, and then pretend to die. “Dead?” “Dead.” she replies. “Amjul...” she continues and then gestures a penis with her hand in her crotch. “...Bam, bam!” she said, amused. Then she said “Janamama” and held her abs and then slowly lift her hands off, as if her belly was expanding. “...Janamama dead.” she then stated. Then she flexed her muscles. “Hyon!” she said. And she pointed to Amjul. “Koku hyon!” she stated with pride. “Thousand hundred hundred hyon!” she insisted. And then she pointed to her mama. “Koku hyon.” Then she sipped air through her teeth. “Siso hyon.” and she pointed to the dead mothers. “Siso siso hyon.”

You pointed to Hoojul. “Hyon?” you asked, getting that it meant “Strong”. She chuckled. “Hoojul siso-hyon.” she replied. She then started to complete the tree with more dead mothers surrounding the males of her family tree, although very simplified and quick representations.

“Hoojul has no Jana?” you asked. “No wa-mamas?”

It was a bit morbid that she would bother to give this kind of importance to the dead mothers, but it was a curious fact, nonetheless.

“Hoojul one Jana. No wa-mama.” she replied. “Hoojul siso-hyon, no wa-mama.”

She then placed her hand on the next stone slab, which showed you what seemed to be a group of people holding hands in a circle, with her father and mother being dressed a bit more ornately than the rest and having horns, aside from them being obviously a lot bigger than the rest. “Musubi.” she said, and put her hands on the people. “Juljana musubi.” Then she gestured to the last slab, representing a ship firing at people, and people dying. “Santos.” she said, with a tinge of anger. “Santos… Make… Pop!”

And she pointed in behind her ear, where the slave chip was. “Fern… pop out! Me grateful. Grateful.” she then said, and gestured her finger away from her ear as if something came out.

“Need ship, need pilot, need money.” you tell Dijana. “Fern zero flying machine. Zero pilot. Only thirteen money. Need more.”

She seemed to understand and nodded, and after a short while of silence and her looking into the ground, defeated, she took the slabs back out and placed them back into the road.

------------

Samuel invited you over for breakfast, sharing a slice of bread with each of you, with some butter. Together, you all sat around the table he had in the kitchen, and he seemed to enjoy being generous, keeping a smile and chipper disposition.

“It’s nice to have company ‘ere.” he mentioned, and put himself into his seat and flipped a switch on his smokeless smoking pipe, turing it off. “So where ya from?” he asked.

“Ghast.” you admitted. “Acid planet. Oceans, some islands, nice place but we’ve been getting Tyranid problems. Dijana here, I uh. don’t know.”

“Tired-what?” Samuel asked.

“Me from home planet.” Dijana blurted out, having already devoured her whole bread.

“She ain’t speak much Gothic, does she.” Samuel mentioned with a soft chuckle. “She like a, Space Mahreen or sumthin?”

“I don’t know, actually.” you replied.

“You want more bread?” Samuel asked the girl. “More, of this?”

She nodded. “Twenty!” she replied in relief. “Grateful!”

“Nonono, Dijana, I can buy you food, let’s not bother Samuel too much here.” you told her. “Dijana, no food. I get you food. Understand?”

She looked side to side and nodded, sort of understanding.

“It wouldn’t be too much of a problem but please understand that I’m just here a humble farmer.” Samuel told you with an awkward chuckle.

“About that.” you then asked. “Would it be possible for us to help you out, somehow? Maybe like that we can pay for food and… maybe get some cash too?”

He scratched his shaved chin. “Well, uh. Subcontractors aren’t particularly liked here because they’re often all just a buncha cultists but… You guys ain’t cultists, right?”

“No, definitely not.” you replied.

“Yeah I can tell.” he said back. “Uh. I ain’t got a whole lot going on. I know Jacob the butcher has been hiring some people for them Groxes and the packaging machine over at his place. We don’t keep the Groxes around people, ya see.”

“Hold on.” he then told you and walked over to grab a telephone that was bolted to the wall, with a cable running down it into the ground.

“Hey Jacob, it’s me Samuel, good morning.”

”Good morning Samuel! How ya doing.”

“Doing fine, thanks. So, listen, I got here some people that could help ya with the Groxes. Ya got space there for another few people?”

“Uuuuh, yeah. Yeah, I could do with some help.”

“Good, good. It’s for a lady Space Marine here and a… condensed lad here who are looking for some work. How much could ya pay?”
>>
“A Space Mah-REEN? You’re joking.”

“She’s huge, believe me.”

“Uuuuh. I’d like to meet them but to get them thinking, a throne a week? Marine lady probably more, uuuh. 5 thrones? It really depends on how much they can do. We need people here to round up the Groxes, kill’em, peel’em, cut’em, put’em into the packaging machine and carry’em into the ships for delivery.”

“Days are 32 hours here, for ya.” Samuel briefly commented away from from the phone, to then return to it. “Right! Nice, thanks, Jacob.”

“No problem. A nice to hear from ya. Bye.”

You decide to have both of you help out at Jacob’s butchery place, and left the Servitors at the home for now. After breakfast, and Samuel arranging the meeting, you’re told to go into a certain bus to join other workers to be driven to the workplace.

After some looking, you find a patch of beaten ground that has a couple of people waiting. They were dressed like everyone else, in the usual commoner’s clothing, but you could tell from their slightly hunched over postures, their gently gaunt faces and subtly marked veins, that they were all cultists like the ones on Davashi station or Matze, even if they were dressed as Imperials.

“Hello there.” one of the few women there told you. “New people for Jacob’s, ey?”

“Yeah.” you reply.

“Where are you from?”

“...Ghast.” you replied.

“Ah. I don’t know that place.” she replied. “Is it… uhm. Nevermind.”

After waiting for a short while in silence, a large, non-flying bus arrived (first time you saw one around here), and the workers got in from the back, and you joined them, and it drove off, across the fields, eventually arriving to fields with massive reptilians grazing on the orange grass of the ground, with a dazed, drunken look on their faces. As they walked, they almost stumbled around rather than having any real gait. Then, you got to a huge steel building with white smoke emerging from its chimneys, and the bus stopped, and people got off. After being guided through the rusty complex, you got to a big individual with blood splattered over his apron.

“Heeey! Marine girl and uh, Ferd… Ferdinon! I’m Jacob.” he cheered. “Ready for work? I’d love to see how you do it.”

You nodded. “Sure. Dijana here doesn’t speak much Gothic, but uh, I can help translate somewhat.”

“Gotcha.” Jacob said. “Well, it’s quite easy to understand what to do once you see the others get at it.”

-----------------

After a short lesson on that, in teams of four or five, they were killing, then cutting off the outer hide and scales of the immense Grox beasts and then removing the meat from the bones in certain cuts, to then put it into a machine that packaged it, you started work. You were put into a group of three other cultists with Dijana, who help you out with the first two Groxes. All of the steps were easy, except for the parts where you had to remove and cut the flesh in a certain way because two people needed to man the massive saw needed to do that. All in all, pretty simple stuff, Dijana seemed to catch on quickly as well.
>>
But then, for the third one, Dijana splintered off the group without saying anything, and started doing it all on her own, wielding the tools meant for two people just herself, flipping the bodies that took three cultists to do, and so on.

“Khorne?” one of the workers whispered to another, surprised at Dijana’s rhythm. She even took off her cloak now and started working without it, to be able to move better.

“Slaanesh.” the gossiping workers then said in unison to each other in agreement.

Aside from amazement and stares now and then, the cultists didn’t seem to care that Dijana was doing what she was. Even Jacob came around, congratulated her for her efforts, and just let her be.

Meanwhile, you continued struggling with the other three guys, who tried to make you useful. You were a bit less strong than most here, so that wasn’t much of a problem, the issue was how practiced and smooth the teams seemed to work together, and you just didn’t have that speed yet. Neither did Dijana, but she compensated more than enough by being able to handle the weight of the Grox all on her own.

She even stopped using the tedious but powerful pneumatic skullclamp that punched a hole through the Grox’s heads to kill them and just stabbed a knife through their skull herself instead to save the bother.

A bell rang, eventually.

“Let’s finish this one, and it’s lunchtime.” one of the workers let you know.

--------------

You got to a food hall on the upper floors of the building, where cultists were being served a meal of Grox meat and cereals by some canteen workers, but many seemed to have brought a lunch from home.

Dijana, unsurprisingly, asked for a whole lot of meat. Which you paid for - it was very cheap, and they actually let you pay with your pocket money of Crosses as a favor, because the food lady apparently had family that had recently moved to Ghast. The rest paid in a currency called ‘Sliths’.

Once seated, and with an ungodly heap of food in front of her, the huge girl started enthusiastically consuming the food, as you ate your own steak with patience.

---------------

One week passed of you doing the menial work, with you both getting paid at the end of it, although there was no break day. Work continued. You had gotten the hang of things by now too, no longer being an awkward newbie, but someone that seamlessly followed the flow of the rest. And you didn’t know if it was Dijana’s diet or something but she was getting bigger as well, her muscles, chest and buttocks gaining volume and bulging at a frightening pace which the workers gossiped further about. Although she was indeed tiny in comparison to her drawing of her father and mother, so you speculated that it was just what was in store for her.
>>
And after getting paid, Dijana was now even more enthusiastic than before, doing two Groxes at a time and looking for ways to be more efficient. You just didn’t have the energy to go quicker, and even if you did, you were limited to working in tandem with the others.

-------------

It was on your 12th day of work, after washing the gore off of your exhausted yourself at the group showers and getting back home on the bus, that you noticed people grouping at the plaza with the television. Zalee was there on the screen.

“T-the Centralward Nebula of Noctis Aeterna - the ‘Scythecloud’ - has… subsided. At last.” he informed, nervous. “Which means that we have resumed Astropath communications with… Holy Terra. The old voidship lines will be restored as well, no longer do we need to travel avoiding it.”

People looked at each other, and a cheer and claps started, but didn’t gain any momentum, and died into awkward silence.

“I have also been informed that, uh, there will be some important changes around here as we reestablish relationships with the central government of the Im-Imperium. But, do not worry. These things take time - could be months,” he added, and he seemed relieved that it would take a long while.

“B-but I will make sure that the transition is as smooth as possible. You, the people are the most important thing here, after all. I will keep you up to date. Bless the Imperium.” he said, and then the connection cut off.

Then, there was silence.

“That’s good, right?” someone said, breaking the ice. “Yeah, bless the Imperium. Things will, finally, be back to normal.” another said with a sense of relief. “Praise the Emperor.”

Others didn’t seem to be as happy, and exchanged glances.

uhm damn. A Place filled with tzeenchyboys and imperials living peacefully together....
reconnected with the central authority this planet isn't long for this galaxy.

Time to gather our stuff and look for the first voidship that gets us to a safe Place. I think preferrably some border world or something like that.
In the long run, we need to get a bunch of money. Maybe we can rob a bank or something on the way out?

Space travel is expensive and I don't think 12 days of working on the butchery can cover a bus to the sity with a starport and then a ship out of this place.
Also if shit is about to go down, underground railroads filled with crackheads is the best place to hide. Those tunnels are also ancient, which means possible loot
>>
>>4267424
I'm kinda disappointed no one tried to incorporate the Servitors so we could earn even more money. It seemed like a waste to have them do nothing.

Let's get a shuttle to the ring lands and see if we can find some good salvaged.

>>4267428

That's not for a month from now. We have plenty of time.

The Imperium? Being that efficient and not choked in petty bureaucracy and internal politics in order to get anything done?

We have time.

>>4267424
Use the money we have to get to a big city and sell a Servitor, then get on a ship off this planet.

Henchmen are relatively easy to come by anyways, but we won’t live long without safety.

Fair enough, we have some time to get some more thrones, but we shouldn't wait too long or else we'll be imperially screwed.
>>

I was asleep when you guys were voting earlier. I was kind of expecting most of you would move on for a more high risk high reward kind of job, not settling for a 5 thrones/week deal.
Seriously. Servitors. Use en or lose em. We could had made an additional 10 thrones this week. That would had gotten us a net profit after all the money we shiled on transport, food, and rent.

I figure having them do berry picking would be fairly easy.

To be honest, I think our options to earning cash are very limited on a planet of peasants. It’s a bad idea to try to stay here to get rich.

I got an idea. Is there some military surplus store on this planet? I wanna throw a power pack back pack on one of the Servitors then throw in as many las pistols as humans possible on it. I dont know if there is a damage difference between a lasgun and laspistol, but what I do know is that laspistols are smaller which means more room for dakka.

Don't think we'd be able to afford it.

Good point. Better to beat the shit out of people down in the Ringlands and put their guns on our metal dudes.
Say, dont we still haveca handful of pistols from the three guys we killed back on the station? We should get those appraised so we know what we're dealing with. Maybe we could sell them, or mount them to the Servitors.
>>
>>4267424
Swapping to Ringlands, witness me, shiny and chrome.

We can always leave afterwards, Argi-cargo has to keep on coming and leaving anyways, which can be our ticket out of here later on.
>>
>>4267424
Hm Ringlands sonds decent then, if we actually have Time.

But with the recent News, i think there could be other Opportunities.
I mean the local Government and the Cultists alike should be in quite a bit of Turmoil, and there will be a quite a few people who want to get a Score to leave.
Maybe we can get a few People together to raid supply depots or the governors private collection or something like that, not neccessarily right now, but before we leave the World. Would need some prep time anyway.
>>
>>4268134
Flying and nonflying bus apparently exist on this world, so it shouldn't take us long to get there.

A heist? Could work, but it would be easier to join one then to make one. There's also the need to get a ship out of her without any imperials or the Governors men chasing after us. We'll deal with it when we get there but until then I don't think we'll get that far.
>>
You decide to try to get out of here. You had to find a planet or some place safer - from hearing you cultist co-workers talk daily, you already had a good idea that the Imperium was definitely not a friend of these Chaos people. Or xenos. Or anything weird in general, really. Muj III’s situation had become relaxed over the years of Noctis though, with people not really caring anymore because neither side of the planet had enough military power to fight each other AND the Ringlands people, and so, stalemated, just they stopped trying. It also helped that Zalee had something to do with it, as the cultist workers had commented how happy they had been with him and his unspoken tolerance towards the Matze people.

You finish your last two days of work to get paid and try to talk with people for a way out of here - information was key, now.

+ You have 16 thrones, Dijana has 8 thrones (10 from the butchery - 2 from food).
+ Your stuff: Metal case, general Ghast survival/fishing gear, respirator mask, Warrant of Trade to the name of Santos de Barrientos, Vera's gun, Santos' gun, Servitor x 2. Peasant clothing.

After talking a couple of the other cultists and townspeople, through word of mouth, you found that there were a couple of escapee groups forming. Formed mostly by families and individuals that had ties to the Tzeentchians, they were desperate to flee the impending, uncompromising iron fist of the Imperium.

And you decided to join one that was going towards the Ringlands.

-----------------------------

“Are they just gonna to let us in?” you heard a mother say, asking another of the families here in the modest cargo-ship. The people had put everything they could into the containers below it - you didn’t. You just didn’t have that much stuff.

“I dunno.” the pilot said, as the vehicle soared over fields. “I’m hoping that we can find a spot that they don’t mind us being on. We just need a spot to survive in, we can figure out what to do after that later. It’s not time to be fancy.”

You looked around, seeing families discussing among themselves, others just in silence, with a doomed expression. Dijana was with you, holding and stroking Bubbles. Days of being together and working at the butchery had allowed you to introduce your secret buddy to her. And no, she wasn’t familiar with Tyranids. It was the first time she had seen something like it.

From your case, your pulled out the two guns you got, one from Vera, and the other from Santos. You gave Vera’s to her, and put away the other.

“If things get difficult, you use this.” you told the huge girl.

“What is?” she asked, with her now-improved Gothic from her time of working at the butchery.

“It’s a gun.” you tell her. “You pull her, and it should shoot, like Bubbles can.”

She held the device, inspected it, and then looked back at you and nodded.

“For just in case things get fucked up.” you explained.
>>
-----------------------------

The cargo-ship continued to soar, and the fields below you started to wane, being replaced by barren, rocky terrain.

Then, the ship started to fall, tilting itself to a side, sending people sliding to a wall of the vehicle.

“What’s going on?!” someone yelled.

“I don’t know!” the pilot said. “The damn… everything, it’s going crazy! The ship doesn’t know what’s up and what’s down!”

It continued falling, people screaming like if it was a roller coaster ride, as the ship approached the ground - but then, right before it hit the ground.

It stopped.

Everyone’s stuff fell from the inercia, people slamming into the ground, noses, ribs, bones broke. You managed to reflexively avoid the slam, shifting your weight along the flow of things like when your boat had a bad time at sea, and Dijana seemed to have just tanked it alright.

Gently, the ship was placed onto the ground, and you heard motors rumbling outside. You looked out the window, and found the ship to be surrounded by bikers, and nearby, a huge steel pathway, like a massive, infinite steel snake carcass, stretching into the horizon, and a building lodged into it in the distance.

“Hey, this is the first time the Markies have come to US!” one of them laughed. “Easy pickings!”

“Haha! Our lucky day! Gut this ship up boys, and get everything inside!” the largest among them said, a man dressed in ostentatious leather and fur, with several tubes and cables connecting him to a van with glowing plates on its roof. Then, the plates turned off, and the ship sunk a tad deeper into the ground from its own weight, and the swarm of bikers started climbing over the containers on the lower hull of the ship, working on breaking open its locks with welding tools.

“Whatya wanna do with the Markies inside ‘Wiz?” one of the hooligans with a bright red crest asked the large man.

“Keep the hot girls and the men that seem like they can fight. You can kill the rest.” this ‘Wiz replied.

“...Wizard Jones, sir.” a ludicrously buxom lady in a bikini and holding a technological slab then said, adjusting her glasses. “We don’t have enough space for so many more people.”

“I know. I have a an idea you’ll all love.” he replied, he replied, nonchalantly grabbing her ass and idly groping. “Don’t worry babe.”

"W-what do we do?" someone whispered in the compartment you were in.

"Do you have guns? Weapons?" you asked.

"S-some of us." another replied, pulling out a primitive pump-action shotgun.

We don't look like we can fight, but we can sure prove them wrong and then some. Then it might be safe to comply when they demand us surrender and join up with them. Otherwise we are just lining up for a easy execution.

I want bubbles to act as a shoulder gun like the predators have in the movies, and we will shoot with our hands, thus increasing our firepower.

Open a door or hatch so they come in through that way instead of cutting in their own entrance, at least for a while, then we can shut the door if they do wise up and cut their own hole in.

Have the Servitors in front of us while we back em up and fire from behind them. We take on, and Dijana takes another, in case we need to split things up. Pile all the luggage and trolly carts, metal trays, seats, or whatever we can into barricades and makeshift cover.

I did not say we couldn't, But THEY don't know that, and we don't look particularly tuff, so going along and following their orders will only get us killed.

“We can fight.” you hiss to the others. “They’re being way too overconfident about this.”

You put Bubbles on your shoulder, and arrange its tail-tentacles in a way that grips onto you you securely - she seemed to understand what you were trying to do by turning to a gun right there. Then you took Santos’ gun.

You look at Tobias and Victor. Time to make use of the Bloodhound.

“Fire at the masked guy over there when I tell you to.” you notify them. “We don’t have much time left here.”

“AFFIRMATIVE.” it emitted.

Dijana took her gun as well and imitated you, holding it in the way you were. You went over and opened the lower hatch that lead to the cargo below, leaving it as a place for them to try to enter through, and then pointed to the Servitors. “Now.” you told them, and held guard of the entrance.

fffffFFF-RATATATATATA

Fires shot from the duo’s back guns, however you didn’t hear them hit anything. You peeked over the window to see what was going on, and you saw Wizard keeping the bullets mid-air by having his hands held out, the back of his gloves glowing like the steel panels of the van had before.

“That’s not going to work, buddy.” he told called out, and laughed, and then the bullets fell to the ground, clanging.

Shit.

You got back to the hole, and you saw a gun out into view, and you jerked your head away as shots started pouring in from it, piercing through the ship’s roof.

“Careful, dumbass!” Wizard bellowed out. “We’re keeping this ship!”

“But how are we going to get them out, Wiz?” another asked.

“HEY. You guys. Get out or we’re killing you all!” Wizard Jones demanded. “And no funny business.”

--------------------------

You were out, and stood out on the dirt with the rest of men in a part in front of the ship, surrounded by armed men, as the women were on the other side. You could hear dog-whistling and cheers coming from that side too. “Fuck! She’s so hot, look at that face, man!” “And those fucking tiiiits, holy shiiiiiiit!!”

“Kill the ones we don’t need.” Wizard then demanded, and the men fired, the children and elderly falling to the ground, dead.

“My… son… You FUCKS” a man yelled out, eyes starting to tear.

“Do you want to die too?” Wizard asked. “Stay quiet and -”

The man then ran towards him, and was immediately shot dead as well.

“Anyone else?” the leader asked. “No? Good. Now, all you guys. Strip down to your underwear. And the women too.”

“YEAHHHH!” the thugs cheered. “STRIP STRIP STRIP!” they chanted, paying more attention to the women’s side than yours.

“STRIP IT ALL!” another thug demanded.

“Oh, you’re in charge now?.” Wizard then interrupted, and walked over to the thug who said ‘strip it all’. He put a hand on his shoulder. “Now, since you’re boss now, what should we do with these people, hm?”
>>
There was silence. The thugs stopped cheering, they just stared at the scene. And Wizard’s victim didn’t answer.

“No answer huh?” Jones then chuckled. “That’s right.”

“Listen now you fucks.” he continued, referring to everyone else. “The Markies have come… to us!. Let’s give them a chance, shall we? The girls - we keep them all.”

The crowd did a modest cheer. “Yeah!” “Right on!”

“The men, however.” he continued. “You see…” he added, and walked over to where you were, with your clothing on the floor, Bubbles still hidden in it. “...We’re the Steel Claws. The elite class of this shithole of a planet. We’re veeeeery flattered that you’ve come here to join us, but we only accept the best of the best. Not everyone can be a Clawie boy.”

“So!” he then said. “You’re going to fight. Right out here away from your stuff - it’s a nice, open area, isn’t it? Last two standing get a choice. You join us, or you get to leave to tell the tale that nobody fucking just flies into our territory. Naked.”

The crowd burst out in a roaring laughter, and then cheer. “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!” they started to chant now, pumping their fists into the air.

“Let’s have a good show now!” Wizard demanded. “Ten men - but only two will remain. Your Gods can’t help you - only you by your own blood and sweat can you decide your fate in these parts!”

You started to become surrounded by thugs who wanted to get a better look of this ‘main event’, forming an approx. 15m diameter circular arena. You and the other farmers looked at each other on the dry, rocky ground. “I can’t kill you man.” one of them told the other. “...D-do we… have a choice?” another muttered.

Wizard Jones then took a gun from one of his men, and aimed it upwards. “Let’s see how long you last! Someone has to die every 10 minutes, or else I’ll kill someone myself! Let's begin, motherfuckers!"

“The show begins! Kill, kill until there are only two left!” Wizard Jones demanded, and fired his gun.

You close your fists, and look at the others. They also awkwardly look at each other. You didn’t want to beat these people up, you weren’t some heartless bastard. These people, they had helped you. They had been generous to let you go with them to look for a better place to live. They were your guys. People you knew from around town.

“Do we really have to do this?” someone muttered, holding their bleeding arm. After the ship crash, nearly everyone here was beaten up already. Broken bones, bruises all over; all of it common.

“Ten minutes, don’t forget! Someone has to die.” Jones bellowed. “And I got all night. Warm up all you want. Take it all in.”

“Guys, do you think we can make it out of here?” another asked. “I mean, maybe if we really try…”

“I-It’s over, man! We’re surrounded!” a bearded one then screeched in desperation. “I-I have two daughters to take care of! I-I should be one of the people who get to live!”

“Stop whining. I have got cancer anyways.” a third, gaunt man said. “I’ll take a hit.”

“Really, Clark?” a man mentioned.

“That’s... Look, you don’t have to, we can figure something out.” another said.

The crowd started to boo. “Get fighting already!” one heckled. “Yeah, get to it!”

“Yeah. I’m not long for this world.” the gaunt one stated. “I know you guys would’ve done the same for this old bloke. Have ten minutes on me.”

“Wizard. Kill me when the time is up.” he then added.

“No, no. It doen’t work like that.” he said. “You don’t get to choose who I kill. If you want choice, you’re going to have to kill someone yourselves. That’s the game, here.”

“How are we going to kill someone with our bare hands?” a young man asked, staring into his own.

Afar, you could hear the yells of the women, calling for their husbands and brothers.

“FERN!” you heard Dijana bellow, somewhere behind the crowds, and behind the ship. “FEEEEEEEER-mmmmmmffff!!!!

Then, just muffled voices.

“Choke me.” the gaunt one then said, and held a man's hand. “Choke me until I’m dead. That’s how we’ll do it. Leonard. You’ve got strong hands. And you are my friend. My best friend. Can you do me this last favor?”

Leonard looked away.

"Please, Leonard." they insisted..

“Fine, Henry.” he finally replied. “I’ll… I’ll do my best.”

-----------------
>>
“Time’s soon up!” Wizard stated. “What will you do? Henry’s going to die by his friend, eh? That’s a good start, a good start!”

Henry kneeled on the ground, and Leonard kneeled next to him.

“Grip hard. Don’t let go, alright?” Henry asked. Leonard nodded.

“Tzeentch. This is not the way I expected myself to rejoin you, in the Great Beyond, but, may you guide my people. My wife. And my friends, here. Blessed be thee. May you devour my soul, and keep those I love, safe.” Henry said. “I am ready to die. Leonard, if you may.”

Henry closed his eyes. And Leonard gripped around his neck.

Henry stopped breathing, and Leonard waited.

And waited.

Henry went pale.

They waited more.

Until, unceremoniously, in Leonard’s hands laid no longer a man, but the lifeless form of a human being. Henry was dead.

“That’s 10 extra minutes.” Wizard Jones then stated and laughed. “Use them well now! Who will be the next to fall? Can the Markies keep this up, or will they slip into despair? Nine left to go!”

“We... should kill the heretics.” a young man then said. “...It’s… the only right thing.”

“...We’re all ‘heretics’ here though, right Daniel?” Leonard pointed out.

“No! Not me!” Daniel yelled out. “I have never mingled with the Tzeentchian filth! And now that the Imperium is back, they will recognize my commitment, at last! I am pure! Clean! U-unlike the rest of you. Now, i-if you believe in the Emperor like you say you do, you’ll kill yourselves just like Henry! That will be your penitence!”

“Come and get us, then.” another man smirked.

“I…” Daniel muttered.

“See. You can’t.” the man replied.

“aaaaAAAAAAAH!” the young man snapped, and charged towards the only one that seemed smaller than him “T-THE EMPEROR P-PROTECTS!”

You put your sleek, sinewy body en garde, facing him with your lightly acid-burnt left shoulder. “HERETI-!” he yelled, reaching towards your neck with his hands.

You aim your right knuckle to his liver past his light musculature from his endless hours of hard work - but he gets to your neck first with his longer arms, and you veer into his lung instead, sending him back stumbling, coughing. People don’t survive to be your age, alone, out in the treacherous acid oceans of Ghast, without knowing how to beat suckers.

These people were just farmers. You were a proper acid-sea punk.

But, you half-missed. That punch should’ve knocked him to the floor if you had aimed it right - but these people were just bigger and better fed than you, which made things harder. The kid then took steps back, looking at you with wide eyes, then ran off to the area opposite from where you were standing.
>>
“This guy knows how to fight.” Leonard mentioned.

“The shorty’s packing some serious moves!” Wizard Jones cheered. And while you had intermediate street fight experience, you were just a small Ghastian shrimp in comparison to the other fish here.

“SHORTY, SHORTY, SHORTY!” the crowd cheered. “BEAT THEM UP, SHORTY! SHOW’EM HOW IT’S DONE!”

I agree with this, but we should take care - if someone tries to attack us, we defend ourselves. And i'd say that we should also take care to not look like a coward.

You know, pretty much go, "yo would anybody else like to try to kill me" and wait until someone tries to say yes.

You held your stance, keeping your ground. This spec of ground around your now-bigger presence, was yours. The others roared “SHORTY, SHORTY!”, trying to push you to fight and entertain them.

But you weren’t someone who would be told what to do. Your choices were your own.

Not giving a shit, not even acknowledging the crowd and with a steel focus on your stance and this fight, you held, adamant. Whoever came at you was going to get it - your body language couldn’t have it written on it any clearer, and the crowds soon noticed. You weren’t going to waste energy on pettiness, or needing to prove yourself any further. Your fierce patience and diamond poise claimed your position as top dog here.

You were going to fight on your own terms.

The others started to discuss among themselves who should be the next to die, and started to discuss about you like if you were some final boss that had to be defeated or just someone that was assumed to pass this massacre game.

“Time’s up! Someone’s going to have to pay the price.” Wizard said, and aimed at Daniel. “Sorry, kid.” he chuckled, but the young man managed to duck out of the way behind Leonard - and Wizard fired anyways.

The bullet flew at Leonard, he yelled, unprepared to die, but, he didn’t. The bullet skimmed across his body, and curved into the coward behind him, expelling him out a couple of meters from the impact, and then dropping him like garbage on the cold dirt, dead.

A plate on the back of the hand that was holding Wizard’s gun was glowing, again. “Wizard Jones doesn’t miss.” he claimed.

----------

The farmers didn’t fight among themselves, choosing to let the roulette of Wizard’s whims decide who should die, but after two more shots going after those who seemed the most, people realized that they had to impress him to have a better chance to survive.

“I’ll fight you, Fern.” Leonard eventually told you, imitating your guard and putting himself in front of you, showing more panache than the others. “Get ready.”

“Is this it?! It is! Someone is going to go after the one and only - the SHORTY!” Wizard bellowed.

“SHORTY, SHORTY!!” the chants resumed.

“Fine.” you replied, and inhaled.

The large, slightly overweight man slowly inched towards you, carefully, until he got in your outer strike range - you surprised him when you stepped in and swooped in low, and aimed for his liver like you did with Daniel, and struck true.

Leonard coughed, stumbled back in pain, but didn’t fall yet. Taking advantage of his daze, you reeled your arm back again and snapped it forwards into his wide stomach, forcing him to vomit and fall backwards to the ground, puke leaking out of his lips, barely able to breathe.
>>
“SHORTY DOES IT AGAIN!” Wizard cheered. The crowd did as well, but you didn’t listen. There were more important things to pay attention to now.

The others caught on to Leonard’s idea, and started to challenge each other, now realizing that they’ll both have better chances to live if they fought. In the following minutes, more duels started to erupt in the arena, and Wiz had the mercy to shoot off the defeated farmers, as the farmers themselves chose not to beat up their own to death.

----------------

There were three left now, you, and two brothers, who had pretended to fight just each other until this moment, where one of them beat the fourth one.

They exchanged glances, and then looked at you. You could tell what they were going to do. They were going to gang up on you, two against one.

“It’s soon over!” Wizard said. “The brothers against shorty! Who will be the last two standing - oh! Clever boys - they’re going for a two against one!”

The crowd cheered for you harder now because you were the underdog. And they wanted a show.

“It’s over, Fern.” one of the brothers said, covered in sweat. “You can’t beat both of us.”

You smiled warmly. “Come and try.” you told them, a taunt to the which the crowds yelled harder. However, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to beat the two of them. But you were going to the win the fight.

They rushed to you, one from each side, and you blocked a strike from your left, as a kick swung to your right into your leg - pain soaring now in it, but you managed to hammer your fist down against the knee of the kicker. They both retreated, and observed you. You observed back.

You didn’t try to go after them. You held your ground, conserved your energy, kept focused.

The brothers looked at each other, then rushed back at you, punches few again, kicks, you did as you could to dampen the hits, and then they retreated again.

You were still standing by the force of sheer adrenaline, but composed by the force of your sheer willpower.

Again, they went in, again, you did the best to mitigate and strike back.

Again.

Again.

You weren’t going to beat them.

Again.

Again.

Broken, you stood in the arena. Your rib, fractured. Your right shoulder, dislocated. Your cheek, bleeding. Your leg, shattered. The other two had just bruises. Maybe something broken too.

You weren’t going to beat them.

But you weren’t going to lose.

“SHORTY, SHORTY!” the crowds chanted. “Time’s up.” Wizard spoke. “It’s time for our winners”. And he fired, a bullet going through one of the brothers, killing them.

“OUR WINNERS ARE SHORTY AND -” he bellowed, but his words were drowned in cheers of “SHORTY, SHORTY!” by the crowds.

You weren’t going to beat them. But you won.

“Now, now!” Wizard stated. “The moment of truth.”

You felt like fainting. You didn’t have much stamina left. Everything hurt. But you kept standing. Determined.
>>
“Shorty!” Wizard Jones bellowed. “Do you LEAVE? Or do you STAY?”

“SHORTY, SHORTY!” the crowd cheered.

You answered:
>Write in

And then, you fainted, dropping to the ground.

Considering the fact that we're in bumfuck nowhere, it's way more likely that he's a psyker, which any human can be born as, rather than someone lucky enough to come across and use a pair of one-of-a-kind artefact gloves.

I think your first post was better but both have interesting wording.

>>4270781
I'm 99% sure Wizard is a telekinetic psyker, AKA a bad idea to fuck with unless we can get the drop with bubbles. The important thing is that we've earned their respect through skill and tenacity in combat, the most important attribute to any serious ganger, and in all likelihood have a decent shot of pulling on that to get them to leave our friend alone. I say decent as in 10-20% at the cost of some face, as if I were an unwashed lunatic of dubious piety at best in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, I too, would want to tap that.
>>
>>4270830
>>4270835
Both are true, that might be his "gimmick" like Bubbles is ours. Good thing is if that's true, we have a decent chance of snatching the sumbitches. It might be that he is a psyker AND in control of archeo-tech, in which case we should be wary. Best to assume the worst interpretation of the worst possible scenario is in play and move on from there, in my humble appraisal.
>>
>>4270843
You make a good point.
>>
>>4270930
This is 40k and we're a farflung scavenger from the acid seas of GHAST, keeping that balance of reckless savagery and cautious paranoia is critical from an IC standpoint. I think we've nailed that and don't think we need to change anything about the way we approach the situation, just that we try to get every advantage we can. This isn't Ultramar and we're a hyperfocused xeno-druid in the long in fang and claw sense, not an Astartes, honor is something we can't afford but that doesn't mean we need to tolerate these kinds of dickbags when we find them.

You feel yourself laying down, your eyes still closed. Everything hurts. Especially your knuckles and left leg where you got hit the hardest. You feel something stuck to your cheek, over the cheekbone. Something hard was surrounding your torso and leg. Your arms and hands were wrapped in something too.

You try to open your eyes. Slowly, weakly, they reel themselves up.

“F-fern?” you heard Dijana’s usual sexy voice ask, and a large blur which seemed to be her next to you. You turn your head up and to the right a bit to see her better, but it just made everything sting real bad, and you winced.

“N-no move!” she told you. “Me care, you. You taketeasy. Yes? Very taketeasy, please.”

“Alright.” you exhaled, and let your head sink back into the pillow. Your vision cleared up more, allowing you to see that you were in a sort of fancy room. The wallpaper was purple, with a lacy strip along the middle. There was a lamp, a sofa, a nice table; with your stuff dropped onto it and Bubbles sleeping on top of the pile… Man, this room was huge.

Your eyes turned to Dijana, who immediately became flustered, her cheeks and face blushing hard.

“H-hello.” she told you, and looked down and away.

“Where am I?” you asked.

“‘The Hotel’.” she replied. “‘Steel Claws’ home.”

“They bandaged me up too, huh?”

“Y-yes.” she replied. Her eyes darted back and forth from you, as if she was too embarrassed to keep on looking at you directly. She looked a bit different too - her hair was styled differently, in two pigtails with the rest hanging down her back. And she was wearing a scarf with glitter in it, and a bikini top and shorts. She adjusted her scarf a bit as she kept looking to the wall, and then looked back to you.

“M-many pain?” she cooed.

“Yeah.” you reply.

“Me, care for YOU!” she then declared. “Yes? You worry? - No no. Me care. Yes?”

“Thanks.” you told her.

“No, me more thanks!” she rebutted. “Fern care me. Many, many care, me grateful. A-and Fern: many, many s-strong! Me grateful! Many, maaany grateful!”

“I’m not strong.” you chuckled, then winced. Laughing hurt.

“Fern many strong INSIDE!” she insisted, leaning forwards eagerly.

“Fern strong, when scary ‘rrraaaashugaaaashhhu’ Davashi house. Fern strong, when fight people when Wizard fight, when bus. Fern strong when fight many men. Fern heart, m-many….”

Tears started to drop from her massively-lashed eyes, but she wiped them for a moment and mentally braced herself down to stop crying. “...Fern many fighting, many go many place. But Fern always, always so strong, in heart. When Fern weak, Fern strong. Fern always fight, Fern’s heart always have… light! Fern’s heart, is fighting-man’s heart - no. Fern is...”

She held a fist up near her cheek. “...Man!!.”

You smiled, warmly.
>>
“Thanks.” you told you her. “But I am a sneaky bastard at times too you know- ah, fffft.” you chuckled, in pain.

“When sneaky bastard, Fern strong!” she continued.

She put a fist on her heart the best she could, her ridiculous tits being in the way. Which, you had never seen with a bra or anything. Yet, they stayed so round and high as if held up by sheer tension alone, but you knew that their insane perkiness and tautness was to blame. Her bodily tissues were just that good. You wondered if they were ever going to sag, given how ludicrously far she was in the opposite direction of that. But, given the drawings of her parents, grandparents, and so on, you speculated that maybe she’d just stay like that forever.

“Fern heart! Strong!” she stated, boldly.

“...Yes.” she then muttered, her bravado deflating, but smiling. Dijana then looked away, blushing. Bubbles woke up, and rushed towards you, climbing onto the king-sized bed and toward you, reaching the pillow and then licking your face.

“I’m alright, Bubbles. Don’t worry.” you told her, but she kept licking frantically. After a short moment of that, she nuzzled against your cheek, and then just laid next to you.

“Bubbles, care, with Dijana.” the huge girl said with warm amusement. “Fern food, want?” she then asked.

“I’m alright.” you reply.

She nodded.

“When want, you ask, me. Yes?” she told you.

“Yeah.” you reply. “Thanks.”

He's at the station under the questionable 'protection' of Tessero. Remember when he told the cultist working for him "not a scratch on the merchandise"? He's probably at least alive. Step one of the master plan is to tame a whole bunch of Tyranids. Step two is to shove all of them on a ship or by some other means (can Tyranids warp by themselves?) get them to Davashi station. Step three is rescue muscle grandpa.
>>
>>4271121
https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Narvhal
It's unlikely we'll ever tame a spaceship sized tyranid, but we can probably gather a gaggle of lesser tyranids and xeno friends. Lesser like Bubbles. For example: we could try gathering up a cargo containers worth of Ripper class tyranids, and maybe some genestealers.

Who is "them" though? This is important.
>>
>>4271225
I think we have a faint resonance of the hivemind in our subconscious, an echo of an echo
>>
>>4271225
>them
Maybe Fern is a Perpetual? A Sensei? Blooming Psyker? Xeno Empath Psyker? Had parents that were secretly infected with the tyranids parasites that turn their offspring into genestealers? Maybe when the hivemind said "them" it was referring to the Tyranids?
I still think Fern being part Genestealer is a possibility. Their planet does have a tyranid problem and when there are tyranids there's probably gonna be genestealers. But eith Fern being from a deviant strain. We still dont know about his parent's.
>>
>>4271229
So part tyranids or genestealer? You can't be a psyker and have a bit of hivemind in your brain. Psykers get their powers canceled out by the psychic screeches of the tyranids.
>>
Or we got somehow infected by Bubbles, but since Bubbles is malformed, it was a faulty, very minor conversion.

arent we just decided that fern is a nid whisperer or something like that

"I'd like to ask for a kiss from the most wonderful girl I know." you tell her.

“Yes.” she whispered, looking at you enthralled, her face went even redder, a silly smile started to curl in the corners of her lips from sheer joy, but then, she ducked and held her head.

“AAAAAAH!” she yelled, and then shook her head side to side. “M-me… Idiot!”

“What’s wrong?” you ask.

“Me....Governor-daughter! Mine in heart, wrong!” she said, her voice breaking into a sob. “Dijana-governor-daughter, go to… Strongest man of my home. Must. Dijana papa-governor, Dijana mama-governor-woman…. Many, many, back, with Dijana papa papa, and papa papa papa.... Many… time in back. Blood must growing.”

“Blood, growing?” you ask.

“Many wa-mama, dead. Many fighting, to make blood growing. Many, maaaany time.” she said, trying her best to explain. “It is…”

“...It is work of life, of governor-daughter.” she said. “Work will make people, God. With time. Work of life of all man and woman, make God. And, most close to God, governor.” she added.

“I… must, head-doing, with my man and woman.” she said, and pointed to her head, and braced down her tears. “I must, strong.”

“Sorry.” she added, and took off her glitter scarf and pigtails, and left out the door stoically, but you could hear her start to bawl in heartbroken pain once she left out the door and stormed away.

-------

A few moments later, you heard a knock on your door, and Bubbles fled under your pillow. Then, Wizard Jones popped in.

“So, champ. How are you feeling?” he asked, leaning in.

“Sore.” you admitted. “But I’m alright.”

“Tits Marine back there seems to be in more pain that you right now, I’m actually sort of worried.” he chuckled. “Is it going to work out?”

“Yeah. We haven’t fought, or anything. It’s just that we’ve learned of bad news. Don’t worry about it.” you told him.

“Good, good.” he told you. “I’m just here to give you more of an…” he started off, and then chopped both of his hands in the air. “...official, welcoming to the gang.”

He put a hand on your shoulder. “You, Shorty, are now a member of the Steel Claws. In time, we’ll get you sorted with your tats’ and stuff, but for now, you’re not going to be moving anywhere. A champion’s fight needs a champion’s rest. You earned it - that’s how things work around here.”

“...Thanks.” you replied.

“About what it means to be a Steel Claw, it’s pretty simple. We ride the Ring and do our rounds on our territory, collect the payments for keeping our peasants protected and guarded - and if it comes to it, we beat the crap to whoever messes with us. We’re not the only gang out here, but we’re the most kickass. And if we aren’t, we will be.”

“In exchange...” he then said “...You will live like royalty. This room, is yours. You want food? Just snap a finger.”
>>
*snap*

He did so, and shorty after, one of the captured peasant girls appeared through the door, but with a hermetic, technological-looking helmet that engulfed her whole head, and dressed in a maid outfit.

“Oh yes, glorious Master Wizard Jones?” she asked, and then lifted her skirt to show her bleach white panties.

“You can customize these greetings, I’ll teach you how to do that later.” he told you. “Uh, dear, bring me some of that expensive Golden Tower wine. A glass.”

“Of course, glorious Master Wizard Jones!” she replied, and then lifted her skirt again, to then march away.

“You’re going to be pretty bored stuck in here all day, but you got uh…” he continued, and took a remote control from a drawer. “...Holo-TV, but we got a huge stash of the best shows because who wants to see Zalee all day right? And we got music - also, massive stash, and some video games. We also got a full arcade downstairs for battle practice and just playing for shits and giggles for when you get better. Half of them games built by yours truly, they’re real good. I made Busty Battling Bitches for the Holo-TV too, it’s pretty old but uh, let me know if you like it Shorty; give me a review, will ya? Haha.”

The maid reappeared, and handed over a glass of red wine to Wizard. “Here you go!” she said, with lifeless enthusiasm.

“Thanks. You can go now.” he replied, and took it, to then pour a sip into a slit of his helmet.

“Oh, and air conditioning.” he remembered. “It gets really hot or cold here, sometimes. That’s this button. If you need anything fixed, just tell me. I’m the guy who knows all of the shit around here - and if you know shit that I don’t know, you should tell me. I don’t care what it is, you can be totally honest. I fuck up, someone else fucks up, you fuck up, I don’t care, you let me know. We’ll solve it.”

“Your bathroom is across the hall, too. Don’t worry about the water, we got absolute shitloads, but don’t pretend to be a fucking fish out there.” he chuckled. “And, I think that’s all.”

“Like it says on the tin. It’s a ‘hotel’. Here to make your life comfortable as fuck, as long as you earn it, by doing your rounds and fighting for us.” he concluded.

“...Alright.” you replied.

He put a hand on your shoulder. “Shorty, I won’t bother you anymore, you got to rest. Take care. I’m glad you chose us.”

>>
My translation of the Dijanese, take it with a grain of salt.

>“Me....Governor-daughter! Mine in heart, wrong!”
I’m the princess and my feelings are wrong.

>“Dijana-governor-daughter, go to… Strongest man of my home. Must. Dijana papa-governor, Dijana mama-governor-woman…. Many, many, back, with Dijana papa papa, and papa papa papa.... Many… time in back. Blood must growing.”
Dijana the princess will marry the Uber-Chaddest of her home planet. She must. It has been a lot of time in the making, involving my father-the-king, my mother-the-queen, my grandparents and great-grandparents and many more. The bloodline must improve.

>“Many wa-mama, dead. Many fighting, to make blood growing. Many, maaaany time.” she said, trying her best to explain. “It is…”
Many wa-mama (cultural thing where she gives importance to the women who were too weak to hold the pregnancy of a Uber-Chad and have fukken died) have died and there have been many fights, to improve the bloodline, over a long, long time.

>“...It is work of life, of governor-daughter.” she said. “Work will make people, God. With time. Work of life of all man and woman, make God. And, most close to God, governor.” she added.
It’s the life purpose of the princess to do this. This ‘work’ will make people God, eventually. The purpose of mankind is to make God. And the closest to God, is king.

>“I… must, head-doing, with my man and woman.” she said, and pointed to her head, and braced down her tears. “I must, strong.” “Sorry.”
I have to think of the people, and be strong. Sorry.

>>
>>4271361
Also, we don't need to be natural-born brutes or speyss marines to get strong, take a look at people like the catachan soldiers.

Hell yea let's get fuckin buff

/fit/ thread now
>>
>>4271386
Well, we're momentarily part of a gang, so like i said, let's at least make use of this opportunity even if we don't agree with those guys
1. Eat much more, cuz we certainly didn't eat enough before
2. Actually rest when we need to, instead of going on several days without sleep or something
3. At least train a bit every now and then, nothing's a better motivator than the possibility of having an amazonian waifu
>>
>>4271390
Oh yeah and i forgot to add, let's try to teach some more stuff to Dijana, she understood numbers pretty quick so she definetely has the potential
>>
>>4271390
dude, you are really got your priorities straight, arent you.
>>
>>4271396
It's what Fern needs to do, right? I remember it being mentioned that Fern isn't exactly the healthiest guy due to the whole "live on an acid world" part, and now that we have a chance to actually eat and rest well, we should take it. And we should train because amazonian waifu, duh
>>
>>4271326
So you guys know about the Imperium coming in a month right?

>What do you do during your first week of recovery?
Figure out how to tyranid tame better? And tyranids on this planet? Xenos we can tame?

>>4271342
Make productive use of our time?
>>
>>4271401
we're broken and beaten right now. At least a week of recovery, maybe more, broken bones can take up to 3. If we plan to stay with the gang for that long we need to inform Wizard about imperium
>>
>>4271326
Forgot to throw in. If the whole "How to train you're Xenos" doesnt worth then maybe learning about Cogitators and general tech might be a good idea.

Her brain muscles must be pretty big too.

So so sure about the training part chief. Fern got fucked up pretty bad, so unless they got healing tech here he's gonna need to take it easy for a while as nature works its magics. Food and rest is always a plus.

>>4271403
>broken bones can take up to 3.
Then doing extraneous exercises is definitely bad for Fern.

>inform Wizard about imperium
Yep. That was my intent to stir up the pot so that maybe he'll produce transport that we all can hope on.

What's wrong with eating game? It's meat, and meat is good.

>So so sure about training part chief
Yeah, but not immediately of course. We have to wait him to heal, of course. I'm talking about what our plans are, because i don't even know how good Fern's healing is.
>>
>>4271414
Oh yeah meant like hunted animal game. Ffs a second there I thought you meant literal games like some shitter.
Well hes not a super human so probably still need to wait a few weeks? We'll know how much longer he'll need to recover in the next post at least.

Pretty good translation, anon!
I now understand why Dijana's dad looks like he's 20 feet tall. It's because he is.

She picked up "governor" to mean "head honcho" basically, but what she doesn't realize is that there are ranks above governor. Like God-Emperor.
We had a dislocated shoulder and some other fucked up joints and stuff so if we got some damaged ligaments that's gonna take a while.

Tell Wizard or some other gang member we're good with xeno animals and if he knows any that dangerous ones that exist on this side on the planet.
It's time to play Beast Master bitchs!

That's fair enough. We might need to bait and a lasso.

I was thinking. Since Bubbles is a bioweapon, would that mean Fern might be able to use tyranid bio weapons if he manages to tame them? For example, a bone sword?
>>
>>4271806
That'd be cool, boneswords aren't really sentient, they're just serving their wielder and they grow to repair damage and stuff.

But they also have psychich energy within, so using it would basically be using an power weapon. That is to say, it'd be cool as shit.

If we cant find any xeno animals to tame them the only other thing we could would have to be Grox. They're big and aggressive, and notably very tasty.

Your life during the first two days consists of episodes of being awake, eating the food that you mysteriously found next to your bed every day, and sleeping, as you felt too crap to really go do anything meaningful or talk for too long as your everything would start to complain about it.

You remember a blur of several gang members entering your room, enthusiastically introducing themselves, calling you ‘Shorty’ and congratulating you, and then leaving you alone after they noticed that you really weren’t feeling it. Now that you had the chance and the moment to just let go and rest, you were. Besides, you haven’t had this kind of luxury in… A very long time. This was the first vacations you have had in… Man, it’s been so long. You don’t remember. Just a month ago or something you were a punk at sea, scratching at the scraps that life gave you, to survive. Now, you were on some other planet, with a giant girl and a whole lot of more crazy bullshit. Man.

Whatever. You could deal with it later. You just went to sleep. You felt Bubbles snuggle up to you too, under the sheets. Good girl.

----------

You were woken up by very strong knocking on the door, and a squat man marched your room, with skin stretched over his face, just holes for his nose and ears, and asymmetrical metal visors for eyes. He was dressed with a white labcoat over a black t-shirt with a flaming skull on it.

“Hello Shorty. I heard you kicked ass.” he said with a smile, with a croaky voice, in between mouth breaths.

“Heeey. Yeah.” you replied, groggily. You just wanted to sleep more.

“People call me Frogface. Or just Frog.” he said. “I take care of people’s wounds, here. I bandaged you up. Has any pain gotten worse? Hm?”

“No. Just the same.” You tell him.

“Good. Don’t sleep again now, this could be important.” he replied. “Because I want to ask you about this.” the man then took the remote, pressed a couple of buttons, and then showed an X-ray on the holo-screen, apparently not caring that you were just half-awake.

“This is your right arm. I checked your bones before treating you.” he explained. “But there’s something special here - you see that? I’ve highlighted them on the image, I almost missed them the first time I checked you.”

“What… what is it?” you asked.

“Huh...I’m wondering the same thing.” he replied. “It’s a sickness I’ve never seen before. From your nervous system, there are additional, foreign-looking… Tendrils. Do you feel anything different with that arm? Tingling, perhaps? Higher sensitivity? Are you right-handed?”

You shook your head. “Nothing. And, yeah, I’m right-handed. Why?”

“More clues.” he replied. “Because you see, these… thing, they go from your hand, all the way up to your shoulder, and up into your brain. Tiny, minuscule. But they are there. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
>>
“At first, I believed it was just some Ghastian racial quirk. You know - those who live in sunnier areas have darker skin, that kind of thing. But… no. This is something else. Because I look the liberty to take a sample…”

“You what?” you asked.

“Don’t worry. Harmless little needle through your hand.” he replied. “You never know if someone has a living bomb or something inside them, right? The other gangs can be some crafty fucks. You can’t be too careful.”

“And I tested its reactions to different things. Cold, heat, different fluids - nothing. It was identical to your normal tissue. Until I tried vinegar.”

“A Ghastian is more resilient to acidity. It only makes sense, from natural selection, for such racial features to have surfaced. But this… thing, did not display the same endurance. It burnt away more quickly, too quick. As if it hadn’t been adapted to it as much as it should have.”

“Now, this could just be a very weird tumor or growth, right? But that doesn’t make sense - I’m oversimplifying and skipping a lot of details, but, if its uncontrolled growth of existing tissue, then it should have similar properties. But it doesn’t have the tolerance to acidity, or at least, not the same level it should have if it was something grown from your own body.” he said.

“Something foreign is in you, Shorty.” Frog stated. “Is it a parasite? I don’t think so. At least it’s not contagious, I tried that too. It doesn’t replicate or grow. At least, on its own.”

He sighed. “As far as I can tell, it’s just extra nervous lines.” he concluded. “But, weird ones, focalized at your right hand, which then grow up to your brain, in paths normal nervous lines shouldn’t be taking. I was hoping you’d know more, but it seems like you don’t. So, congratulations. Now you know.”

“...Thanks.” you replied.

“Anyways.” Frogface then said and adjusted his collar. “That was all I wanted to talk about. I have two people who have flown off the rodeo machine to tend to. See you later, Shorty.”

“Alright. But - do you guys know about the Imperium arriving in a month?” you told him. “I forgot to tell Wizard before. It seems important to know.”

“Yeah. We watch the news too, you know.” he replied. “But thanks for the heads up. That’s the Steel Claw way.”

----------

The third day, after sleeping way more than you thought you could actually do, you wake up pretty early, but you pretend to keep on being asleep to try to figure out where the food was coming from. Soon enough, you heard Dijana’s unmistakable heavy steps arriving, and leaving something on the table next to the bed. You couldn’t see her, but you could hear that she was waiting next to your bed for a while now. And then, she left.
>>
You peeked as she went away, seeing her with a blender in her hand, and then disappearing out the door. You looked at what she left, finding a bowl of the easy-to-eat vegetable and Grox purée you had been eating these days.

---------

After you toyed around with the remote for a bit, trying its functions, adjusting the air conditioning to something a bit cooler and comfortable, Dijana popped through the door again, but then retreated once she saw you awake. He then re-entered, trying to seem more serious.

“Hello.” she stated, stoically. She wasn’t dressed provocatively anymore, instead, she was in a tight-fitting but skin-covering top and shorts.

“Hey.” you reply. “How’s it going. Thanks for the food. It was delicious.”

“...Hm.” she replied, and went off to the closet (you had a closet? Cool.) to get what seemed to be a cloth headband and a bottle of water.

“Not feeling like talking much, huh.” you asked.

“Sorry. I am busy.” she replied. “Please rest well.”

You did want to help her learn some more Gothic, though. But it seemed like she wouldn’t be having that. She was avoiding you.

---------

Later that day, you had one of those maids get you the bowls of meat-and-veggie purée, instead of Dijana. You decided to play some videogames with Bubbles next to you for the rest of the day, trying out Busty Battling Bitches - it was a decent game. Some unoriginal slash and dash with ridiculous boob physics and an overpowered final big evil guy obviously modelled after Wizard himself, but it was fun nonetheless.

---------

At night, you hear Dijana’s muffled crying somewhere, outside of your room. It lasts for a while.

“Marine?” you then heard someone say. It sounded like that girl with the monster boobs that was with Wizard, before. His secretary kind of person.

“Sorry. I will go.” Dijana then mentioned.

“No, no. It’s alright. Do you want to sleep in our room? I can convince Jones. You can’t just sleep in the gym every day.” she told her.

“I-I stay. Thank you.” Dijana replied.

“Oh well. If you need anything, let me know, OK?” the other then said. “You should really sleep in your room once you feel better.”

“Yes. Sorry. I make problem.”

“It’s alright, it’s alright. We all have our moments.”

Then, you heard the lighter woman wander away. A while later, you heard Dijana’s steps, then your door open, and then the massive girl got into the other side of the giant bed, and kept her back facing you.

---------
>>
The next morning, you didn’t find her in your room anymore, just more purée. Of a different color. Different vegetables this time, you assumed. You tasted it - it was definitely a different vegetable, and you gave Bubbles some too, and remembered the old times back on Ghast, just the two of you and the vast acid sea. Good old times. Which, had you wondering. How were you so resilient to that Tyranid snake worm thing before? Or the weird demonic shit back at the chapel.

The only explanation you could think of is that your balls were just that huge.

Like, you knew you were a real beast when you wanted to, but you didn’t expect it to have meant so much in the long run like this. But you were grateful that this personality trait of yours ended up being so useful.

Maybe that’s why you got along with xenos and stuff pretty well, you thought. Like back on Ghast, when Ork pirates were around, they didn’t give you as much shit, as if they could somehow sense the size of your balls. Your guts and determination. Still, they did fuck you up pretty back when it came to it, robbing you of your stuff more often than you’d like, but there was always that hint of reluctance, a sense of respect. A margin which you’ve made use of to survive and sneak out of trouble with the Greenskins more than once.

You just hoped that you’d be able to keep that resolve. You knew that you were only human. You were far from absolutely fearless - you were afraid of death, afraid of losing Bubbles, afraid of Dijana. Afraid of failing those you care about. You didn’t know what you’d do if you lost them, but… you knew at least, that you’d try to fight the best you could if it ever happened.

---------

During the following days, you decide to binge-watch a documentary series called “The Enemies of the Emperor: Xenos” and another called “Omnissiah’s Basics” to learn about some cool stuff while you continued bedridden. The Xenos one was a cheesy, obviously exaggerated show about the stories of a certain Space Marine and their brave, pure fight for the defense of the Imperium, and the various ‘xenos scum’ they fought to achieve that and how they won every. single. battle against them. It stank of propaganda, and you wondered if there was any realism or worth at all in these. Briefly put, it told you that:

- There exists a feeble race of psykers called ‘Eldari’ whose ancient civilization went to shit.
- If just being a xeno was heretical, the Tau were heretical heretics who loved other xeno and were rotting in their combined cesspool cocktail of heretical xeno-orgying.
- Tyranids are a gross mockery of mother nature, being able to be birthed as various forms because they’re silly, wacky and wild like that, but they were no problem for the straight, unyielding tradition and devotion of the Space Marines.
>>
“Omnissiah’s Basics” seemed a lot more realistic, but it was a lot more boring too. It was a tutorial series hosted by an awkward tech-priest on how to use and repair stuff in general - basic handiwork. How to swap out batteries in the proper and holy way, do basic maintenance and cleaning on general appliances to tame the Machine Spirit of things, and so on; stuff which you didn’t know before, because you just weren’t rich enough to own those kinds of things. But now, you at least had a good idea.

At night, which was the only time you got to see her, Dijana continued to talk the least possible to you, and otherwise just tried to ignore you. But you could tell that she blushed and got giddy during the few times she looked at you - but behind a metaphorical wall of her trying to hide away those feelings, her face and body held to be indifferent. And while she could conceal her involuntary facial expressions pretty well, she couldn’t hide the red of her cheeks. And as usual, you could also see how she continued to grow at an ungodly pace.

At the end of the week, you started to feel much better. You could afford to walk around in crutches, and practiced moving with them a bit around your room, at first negotiating with the pain, but you soon got the hang of it.

Second week?

>Start moving around and try to actively train in close and ranged combat if we can. We can't be letting ourselves go soft.
I think that our nervous system has reacted to Bubbles by generating a symbiotic bio-compatible interface for her, which... Has some seriously fucking rad implications holy shit if we can get our hands on some more docile nidstuff we could be a fuggen legend in the making. The description of the Orks has got me thinking we might be a Xenos-Empath like anon said earlier, which could be as useful as it is heretical. This update is great, there's so much to digest and unpack.
>>
>>4272462
I think it’s rather that Bubbles tried to neurally interface with us like she would have with a normal Tyranid, and now we got foreign Tyranid stuff in our arm and brain.

Our empath powers seem to be the same thing as our ungodly mental endurance: we just have massive balls, which other species seem to sense.

Or the other way around. Perhaps that's where he found inspiration for his outfit.

Things to try:
>See what happens when bubbles turn into gun form on your left arm?
>Do some dumb cartoon shit like "focus on your right arm to draw forth power." I got nothing really.
>See if Bubble's animal brain can discern a difference by petting her with the left and right hands.
>Talk thing out with Dijana. Weird friendship dilemma aside it probably would help to apologize to her and maybe ask if she can help spot for us when we go to the gym for for physical therapy. Once Fern is healthy enough of course.
>Learn about the guns, and the guns that generally exist in the galaxy. Ask around if some gangers could show us some cool shooters and how good they are with using them. Maybe some pointers on how to use the ones we already have.

>>4272462
>You could afford to walk around in crutches, and practiced moving with them a bit around your room, at first negotiating with the pain, but you soon got the hang of it.
He's still a ways from pumping iron and kick boxing, but give it til the end of hte second week. Maybe by then he'll be ready. The most he can do is let his body heal on it's own, do lots of walking, and get plenty of food & rest.

>>4272500
>confirmed Fern has balls bigger than a space marine's pauldrons
Perhaps this neural link developed the day Fern met Bubbles and has been growing ever since. Your thoughts?
>>
>>4272516
Likely, yeah. I think Bubbles “adapted” into becoming a weapon for us by inserting a part of herself into us or something to make herself work. I dont think we just grew that inside of us on our own because its explicitly something ‘foreign’ to our body.
>>
>>4272448
We should still continue to rest, but maybe try to look into the thing in your arm. I'm guessing it's some kind of connection with bubbles. Is fern able to use gun mode bubbles to the same extent as when she's not on your right arm?
>>
>>4272547
A problem is that ‘less nid-neurons in the arm, therefore less control’ could be identical to ‘just not left-handed, therefore less control’
>>
>>4272547
You mean like seeing if we can mentally command her to fire from the shoulder, or when not touching Fern, without the use of gestures?
>>
>>4272500
I don't think it's just about that, we were able to talk with a Tyranid (Bubbles was severed from the hive mind, so it most likely didn't come from her) and we also have a way bigger than normal resistance to Chaos.
>>
>>4272559
Yeah, but there's a difference between being able to control bubbles better and being able to aim better
>>
>>4272451
>explore the hotel, see where everything and everyone is
>>
>>4272559
>>4272562
Just a thought but I think due to Ferns long last relationship with Bubbles, her interference with his body nerveous system just bumped up his reflexes in his right arm (the nid cells in there and that one mentioning in the first thread) and gave him a sort of means to interpret tyranids (the cells in him arms leading up to the brain).

>You provided her shelter, food and a steady aim. In exchange, she was your loyal companion and weapon, being able to wrap herself over your forearm and read your muscular impulses to grant you uncanny control over her.
See here. This gives us some insight.

Perhaps once he's healthy enough to fire a gun, we can determine if Fern has boosted reflexes in his right arm due to the nid cells, or the cells just allow him an uncanny proficiency to Bio-morph weapons. Specifically Bubbles or maybe just tailored to only her. For now.
>>
>>4272562
Maybe from the Tyranid’s point of view, she’s deaf, but she can ‘hear’ them just like we can.

Probably due to the nid cells. Tyranids pretty much are like the antithetic of the warp due to their psychic REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing powers.

>>4272580
Could be. Could be the fact she developed differently because she was nurtured for and domesticated. Maybe she was originally defective. I could be wrong.

That was an interesting manga. To a very small degree your right. I think I know what you're referring to.
>>
>>4272451
Start eating things with vinegar to build up immunity, just a little bit.

See if we can teach bubbles some neat tricks and other ways to communicate, like mentally.

Ask the doctor if hes got anything that will get us to heal faster, being bedridding is gonna drive us nuts.
>>
>>4272594
>Probably due to the nid cells
But isn't that just because of the shadow in the warp? I don't think we're connected to the hive mind directly, right?
>>
>>4272671
https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Shadow_in_the_Warp
His resistance to Chaos can be chalked up to him having balls of steal, in addition to the Shadow in the Warp phenomena, but at a much smaller scale. Unless Chaos Tyranids area a thing I think it's mostly because of the tyranids cells inside of him.
>>
>>4272687
Isn't the Shadow in the warp caused by the hives screeching so much that it drowns out everything else? I don't know how that'd work out at a local level.

Probably the same reason why Fern can communicate with the Tyranids and be resilient against Chaos.
