Votes are counted until 25 minutes have passed. This rule doesn't apply to the last reply of the day.
Votes that require a dice roll are counted until 15 minutes have passed, so we can speed up the process. Rolls are counted until 10 minutes have passed, so be prepared!

(NEW) Dice Mechanic:

We always roll 1d100s!
Since most people weren’t happy with the system of averaging top four rolls, we’re using best of 2/3/4 depending on the attribute a prompt requires. If Johnny is a genius and it’s a Knowledge based roll, he gets more rolls (Max. 7)! If he sucks, he gets less dice (Min. 2)!

When asked for rolls, I will specify how many you’re going to get. Rolling begins after it’s asked.

Rolling 100 is a critical and ignores all other rolls! In the same vein, rolling 1 means a critical failure (only for Very Hard rolls and above).

The difficulty of the roll is tied with the effectiveness of the action. In other words, the harder the option the better the result!

Don’t forget that at the end of the day, this is a story-driven quest! What the prompts are describing is more important than the difficulty of the rolls, for results in a fight.

Again, rolls are only counted when they are posted within ten minutes of being asked, so watch out!

“Red cheeks?” Scarlet covers her cheeks with her hands, putting emphasis on how redder they are in contrast with her hands without realizing.

“Heh, I can smell it, you’re just Mooriko Tier.” Yu Yan smirks at the adorably response from Scarlet.

“Moo?!” Nariko is offended!

“What does that mean?” Scarlet glares at you.

“You can find out now! Wanna join us? I think it’s a great opportunity for you all to know each other.” You invite Scarlet to eat.

“Since Sammi is nowhere to be found, sure!” Scarlet smiles and sits right next to you. “Let’s become good friends everyone!” Scarlet’s positivity shines.

“Do you want us to get friendlier with her so she can partake in that game with us?” Nariko wonders.

“Huh? What do you mean?” You don’t follow.

“Oh, we’re not playing again, understood.” Nariko nods to herself leaving you clueless.

“Stop talking in riddles.” Scarlet pouts.

“S-She’s talking about our… err… board game night?” Yu Yan comes up with an excuse. Now you understand what Nariko meant! Also, Yu Yan is not making up anything here.

“Oh, I love board games! We should play sometime!” Scarlet looks really excited. “I haven’t played in years.”

“What have you done with your life instead?” Nariko acts like playing board games is a big part of a person’s identity.

“Y’know, regular stuff, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, partying, trying to save the world from utter destruction.” Scarlet starts enumerating.

“Regular stuff indeed.” Nariko nods like Scarlet didn’t say something abnormal. Yu Yan tried to say something but realized it was futile to do so.

“So, I assume everyone here knows what’s really going on, right?” Scarlet wonders. “Like I don’t have to pretend I don’t know who you are and stuff.”

“Yeah, we know about your antics from both Johnny and Amelia. And since we already know a lot about each other, I can go straight to teasing you, red cheeks.” Yu Yan’s mood improves. Scarlet is unimpressed.

“We shouldn’t talk about this at school though.” You remind them to be responsible. “We don’t need our lives to revolve around that stuff 24/7.”

“Yeah, you of all people should relax after being so cool.” Scarlet agrees.

“Mooriko tier indeed…” Yu Yan rolls her eyes.

“Yeah, I said Drama, are you telling me or not?” Trent just wants to get whatever he’s doing done.

“Inside the 3rd building, same as the library” Now that you think about it, you don’t think Trent is the type that visits the school’s library. “Straight from that exit, you can’t miss it.” You point at it.

“Right, I appreciate it.” Trent seems a little thankful towards you.

“Are you sure you want to join the drama club and not a sports club?” You wonder.

“I don’t have any other option.” Trent laments as he walks away with his Donny Pops in hand. Though, that didn’t cheer him up or anything.

“H-Have fun!” Scarlet says to Trent who didn’t bother to acknowledge her as he left the cafeteria. “What happened to him?” Scarlet is ready to gossip.

“I don’t know, but I feel like he was hit by a truck, then the truck ran over him and then the truck revealed it was the one who killed his parents.” Yu Yan tries to joke around.

“He Probably had to do some chores?” You imagine that’s why, but you have no proof.

“From what I heard, the Brute is in probation, disobeying the school will cost him greatly, there are no more establishments in Pokyo Lokyo willing to accept him. He’ll have to leave the city if he goes back to his old ways.” Nariko sounds well-informed about Trent’s issues. “Ms. Uccelli was assigned to look over him, so it’s likely he’s following her rehabilitation program now that she’s back.”

“How do you know all that?” Yu Yan raises an eyebrow.

“Yu Yan, he’s in our class.” Nariko rolls her eyes.

“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I know everything about everyone in there.” Yu Yan says.

“You never pay any attention to anything.” Nariko won’t be labeled as a weirdo, despite everyone accepting she was spying on him or something.

“But why the drama club?” Scarlet is more interested in the gossip itself than where the source was found.

“Maybe it’s something stupid like it’s the only club that allows new members still.” You think it would be funny.

“Or finally Big Magumbos is showing her true side, and decided to torture her students in the pettiest way possible!” Yu Yan nods to herself.

“Big what…?” Scarlet is confused by the nickname. Maybe she doesn’t get it.

But before you all can decide whether Nina is a naughty teacher or just your naughty teacher, a familiar face shows up to talk…

“Hello, Johnny, Scarlet, Future madam Vice-President and future madam President.” It’s Matilda! She’s wearing all the campaign stuff still. She has come here to make some small talk with you all. You all kindly say hi to Matilda. “I no longer have any flyers and I wish to eat, so I’ll postpone my activities for now.”

“Sure, you didn’t need to tell me that.” Yu Yan didn’t mind. Matilda turns her attention to you.

“Johnny, are you busy right now? I would like to take some pictures of you.” Matilda requests.

“To sell them. And yes, preferably shirtless.” Matilda takes the Yu Yan Sign from her body.

“You’re selling Johnny’s information out to the enemy?!” Nariko is in shock. Now she hugs you very tight. “He won’t be able to attend school again, he’ll never be able to live a normal life again! We’ll have to hide him from the public eye! You’ll have to live inside my apartment until the foreseeable future. Dear Johnny, I swear I’ll protect you and take care of you!” Nariko sounded like her old hobo self at the end there.

“Nariko, I don’t want to be your hobo…” You express despite feeling somewhat grateful at Nariko’s willingness to protect you, even if it’s incredibly farfetched and nonsensical. You know for sure Matilda won’t sell your information.

“But being your hobo was the happiest time of my life.” Nariko reveals in confusion.

“Didn’t you want to come back to school?” You raise an eyebrow.

“I forgot how dull and uninteresting this whole experience is. I prefer spending it like old times.” Nariko is being a little too frank. Old times spent lazing around, eating a lot, watching TV and playing Video games…

“Johnny’s information is classified to anyone. He paid me to secure his identity.” Matilda remembers those 2 bucks you paid her for that fondly.

“You just said you’re going to sell them.” A skeptic Scarlet says.

“I’m asking on behalf of my clients; I’m not interested in selling them for my own profit. In fact, I was going to discard them if Johnny decided to go through it to teach them a lesson. They just went through a lot of loopholes to make me do this and I got some easy money from it.” Matilda convolutely explains.

“Just tell us what’s going on instead of beating around the bush.” Yu Yan is curious but impatient.

“The Johnny Fan Club demands shirtless pictures of him.” Matilda stands proudly like she’s talking for them.

“T-The what?!” Scarlet is in shock.

“You have a Fan Club of adoring fans.” Matilda explains slowly for you to get. But it doesn’t compute.

“It was founded by Purple Rose students, and it was originally called ‘The Mysterious Stunning Glasses Student Fan Club’ until one of the members revealed your identity, I believe that person is from your class.” Matilda reveals like she’s reading it from the internet. “As far as I can tell, there are no Green Foothill members.”

“They can play fans for all I care, it’s not like they’ll have a chance with him by admiring from a distance. Besides, Johnny’s kindness must be spread.” Surprisingly Nariko doesn’t have an issue with this.

“You just saw her yesterday, she’s fine. I’m making sure Oliver is looking after her while I’m not around.” Matilda responds dryly as ever.

“Cool, I’ll see you around. Might pay a visit later.” Soh leaves with a warm smile on his face.

“Is it pertinent to ask what is going on?” Nariko cordially wonders.

“I’ll inform you later. I might end up needing your help if possible.” Matilda counts on you all. “Now, to the real issue at hand. I’ve done my job, I don’t have to pursue the issue further.”

“Wait, I got it. You’re lying, Matilda. You just want to take a pic of me for some odd reason.” You puzzle it all together.

“Dude, she just called you attractive, put 2 and 2 together.” Yu Yan sounds done.

“I mean, that’s kinda what I’m doing.” You stroke your chin. “This Fan Club doesn’t really exist, it’s all an excuse from Matilda to request a pic of me and see my reaction.”

“Oooh, that makes sense, it saves her from the embarrassment of being declined.” Nariko gets it. She’s an honor student after all.

“Uhm, I think Matilda is serious.” Yu Yan tries to bring you back to fantasy world.

A couple of minutes later she comes back with a vaguely familiar face. Lately, anyone you’re dealing with is a vaguely familiar face at first, except Henry’s fanboy, you didn’t know those existed until now. The vaguely familiar girl looks like anxiety is eating her alive, which must be Matilda’s fault for threatening her.

“Here. One of the members.” Matilda nonchalantly shows you her prey.

“H-Hi…” The poor girl’s voice barely comes out.

“Answer to us, does this dork have a fan club?” Scarlet begins the interrogation.

“Liu…” Liu gets all embarrassed.

“Wait. Wait. Wait.” Yu Yan stops Matilda from talking. “If she’s really a member of this supposed fan club, her biggest desire should be to start a conversation with Johnny, isn’t it? Let’s our big boy here do the talking.” Yu Yan can’t stop teasing people, huh?

“Sounds fairly entertaining, I agree.” Nariko is on board. Matilda and Scarlet just shrug and all the eyes are on you.

“Y-Your name is Johnny Ando Oka a-and… uhm… I’m—” Out of the blue, Liu starts getting hiccups! She’s like a bird chirping.

“Oh, I remember you! You’re Bird Chirping Hiccup Girl from the school auditorium.” You piece it together. Good times! You brought another water bottle today, so you reach your bag to hand it to her.

“I’m— *hic*! S-So—*hic*! –rry *hic*!” Liu tries to regain her composure but fails miserably, it’s all happening again! But this time, Liu runs away from the embarrassment! You try to follow her, but Matilda grabs your arm and stops you.

“If you follow her it’s going to get worse.” Matilda shakes her head.

“What an adorable human being.” Nariko finds her charming.

“That was rather anticlimactic.” Scarlet didn’t enjoy it.

“Of course you do.” Scarlet acts like this is what good ol’ Johnny would do. Which bothers you.

“We have a couple of minutes to spare at most, Johnny. Our conversation won’t be as fruitful as you expect.” Matilda gives you some facts to relax you as you resume running after listening to that.

“Johnny, why are we putting our trust in that person?” Philonune doesn’t get why you’re being so lenient.

Before you can make a decision as to whom you’ll pass the time with. You feel your phone vibrating, which is weird because you turned that off last time you used it. You check what’s going on and see you’ve received a mysterious message from an anonymous number in Chat-Now!:

“You’ve successfully defeated my first challenge, Oka, but can you keep up?” The cocky message reads. You try to send a message back, but an error is displayed. Weird.

Does it mean 7w157 was in cahoots with someone, the true mastermind behind his interference and this bully group? Or maybe you’re reading too much into this? It’s likely this message wasn’t supposed to be sent to you, but knowing your luck – you get entangled in the oddest things.

Another message you have is Scarlet’s, she’s wondering where you are – you just tell her you’re fine with a thumbs up.

You heard the bell ring giving your cue to leave. You check on the girls again and something tells you they are all pretending to be unconscious, you put the masks back on, so they don’t think you know their identities. But it wouldn’t be a farfetched theory for them to think so. Nothing you can do about it, it’s time to leave.

You look around for Matilda and find her rather quickly, she’s continuing her Yu Yan campaign near the cafeteria door. You just want to rub it in her face the fact she was so wrong about your bully group.

“Johnny, where have you been? My sources told me you skipped classes.” Matilda says upon seeing you.

“I was kidnapped by the group of bullies you said they weren’t bullies.” You frown.

“Are you all right?” Matilda gets closer, puts her hands on your cheek and rubs it gently.

“Yeah, I’ve been through worse… but too late to be worried now.” You won’t get patronized.

“I-I see…” Matilda stands back. “I didn’t believe they were dangerous, it’s my mistake. Apologies.”

Matilda should get come compensation.
Especially since they tricked her and was apparently never gonna honor the deal, since the kidnapping was already planned.

“…I’m not worried about the money; I’m worried about you. I promise I’ll get rid of those pictures and make them pay accordingly.” Matilda says the most beautiful words to ever come out of her mouth. “I was sufficiently paid for my services anyway.” They gave her how much? 2 Gor$?

“Anyway, do you want some time to talk?” You wonder.

“Yes, but first…” Matilda takes her sign off her body and puts it on you. You don’t know why you allow her to do it or lowered your neck for her. “You’re taller, you can spread the message far better than I can.” Matilda is happy to talk now, but you just glare at her. What are you? A pole?

“…Sure, whatever, Smalltilda.” You insult her between your teeth.

“Excuse me?” Matilda didn’t catch it.

“Nothing.” You’ll play dumb for now. “So, I got a weird message, any clues who this might be?” You show Matilda your phone.

“Is that Scarlet’s cleavage…?” Matilda looks rather confused and embarrassed. Oh fuck, you forgot you left in that conversation, and somehow it moved to a conversation from weeks ago.

“N-Not that one, this one.” You change chats. “Now.”

“Do you receive those kinds of pictures often? Are you two dating? Are you sure she’s a good fit for you?” Matilda sounds strangely worried.

“I-It’s not the time for those questions, Matilda. Focus.” You play dumb and urge her to read the message.

Matilda takes a good look at it…

“I’m assuming the challenge you passed was the Fan Club kidnapping you and you subsequently escaping. Either way, I have no knowledge of someone who utilizes this kind of profile picture. But part of it certainly looks familiar.” Matilda might have a clue.

“Oh, is it? Tell me more.” You wanna hear it.

“The upper part… Isn’t that strange triangle the symbol Constance’s Judge Entity has on her cap, but upside down?” Matilda points out.

“Oh, is it?” You turn it around and it looks like the symbol both Athelone and Ethempress have on their hats. “Huh, you’re right. You have a good memory.” Didn’t she see her like once…? Must’ve been pretty shocking for Matilda.

“I have great visual memory.” Matilda is proud of herself. “This is a good first lead, but we should investigate further. You should call Constance to ask her about it.” Detective Matilda is on the case.

Matilda stops walking and sighs loudly, like she’s going to talk about something that has been bothering her for weeks and weeks.

“I was going to ask for your help after I gathered enough information about the issue. I know you were busy making your own moves, so I wasn’t planning on bothering you just yet. But, now that you’ve asked… A couple of days ago, Soh found a homeless woman in the streets and asked me to take care of her, a woman who has a flame.” Matilda reveals in shocking fashion!

“Huh?! A flame user?” You were caught on guard by this.

“She wasn’t at her best mental capacities, very reminiscent of what Nariko Edamura was like but far worse than I thought. She has diction problems, limited vocabulary and moved erratically.” Matilda continues. “Later found out that this was far more complicated than I anticipated, the person who is contracted with the entity renounced her body, and the entity has full control – and the entity itself has memory loss as well. Any attempt to communicate with the host is futile. We aren’t able to reach out to her , but helping the entity regain its memories has shown growth for its capacity to control the body.”

“Is this entity dangerous?”

“As far as I can tell, she’s not. In fact, I would say it’s the opposite – but as her capacities grow and her memories come back, I fear this won’t be the case. The only example I can get is Nariko Edamura again, before her memories returned, she was a kind, shy and reserved individual. And now, she’s prideful, boastful and overweight with shades of kindness every now and then.” Matilda did Mooriko dirty there. “Right now, we’re helping the entity regain her memories. That’s the entity’s main priority aside from helping her host. I proposed to her to leave the body with Constance’s help, but she refused because of the reasons I mentioned. Soh is involved as well, but I have kept everything about the flames a secret.”

“Does the Motley Crew know about this? I think you would’ve gotten really good help.”

“I’m tackling this alone for now, I was getting everything prepared to ask for your help later. I just needed to figure out what exactly I needed from you. If I want a satisfactory end to all of this, I cannot look for easy ways out.” Matilda expresses her concerns. “At this point, I feel like this is going to end up as a field trip to find Ms. Wich’s memories.”

“Wait…” You realize something important. “Wich…? Wasn’t her name San…?”

“…” Matilda doesn’t want to talk about it.

“The entity’s name is San Wich!?” You put 2 and 2 together.
