Okay, here is my idea for the rest of the fight. With some luck, it will net us the battle. The only objective that matters is the Right hand of Lust, since we cannot get evicted from Boss battles.

Our best bet to end the fight is to not let the big guy have another turn in the rest of the battle. My suggestion is to have Kaz heal us while we crowd control the big guy to death.

My ide is that Johann goes first round for a Rou, then Moonless signature, then another ROU and then Normal Signature then Rou then a final Normal Signature.

It should give us the battle, provided we don't fail more than a single time, since the big guy needs one turn to prepare his attack.

On paper, what you were doing was super bad for you; a human dragging an unconscious elf away from the security cameras but you didn't think it through as always.

Lev was surprisingly light but not enough for you to carry her, you need more upper body strength for that. Once she was in a more secure position, you quickly combed through her hair looking for any trickle of blood or any dangerous bump. Nothing.

The golden haired elf had led you to one of her study rooms, this one was for her academic studies only. It was painfully sterile in both figurative and literal sense with soundproof walls , two chairs and a single table. That's it.

"I have already finished our simple curriculum twice, I suggest going for this chapter."

"Yes, the order of these chapters is plain wrong, study this one and the next one will be much easier to digest."

This chapter was focusing on the impact of Moon worship on elven civilizations. One of its topics were about The mysterious Moon Priestesses.

Very little is known about them in the first place. They are Moon-weds, virgins who could somehow communicate with Satha. Each Moon priestess from different city-states had their own unique way of communications which is kept in secret. Technically speaking, any virgin of any race could be a Moon-wed (not to Satha but to their respective moon) but the special glands of the elves play a significant role in interpreting the 'words' of Satha. It is however unknown whether the other moons are capable of speech or not. Non-elven races had different religions which had led them astray from Moon worship dulling their senses in the process for the most part. Perhaps the other moons are indeed talking but no one is able to understand them.

The words of Satha are not prophetic like the visions experienced by the dryadic first seeds. It is more of a set of commands and laws for elvenkind which had eventually led to elven supremacy throughout history. However, Many members of the Holy Lune claims that Satha is simply a natural force with no allegiance. There has been several instances where catastrophic moondust from Satha had almost wiped out Cairth. A benevolent entity wouldn't have done so to his most devouted followers. The succession process is long and tedious taking decades and even centuries if Satha didn't utter the name of the chosen one.

Lev was on a whole new level compared to your teacher. She could easily ditch the whole research thing for a badass teacher. you doubt you will ever forgot what she had taught you.

"They are to survive until Satha reappears once more without food or water, their faith is their only sustenance. the ordeal could last from 1 to 6 weeks. There must be only a single surviving sibyl ... it is not uncommon for several sibyls to survive the same process. When it happens, the wedding ceremony must be repeated again and again. Many simply abandon their dreams after wasting years of their lives in the darkest corners of Cairth" It was strange not to see any of this written in your textbook. You doubt this is common knowledge in the first place.

"Ahhh, so that's why it can take literal decade. I bet they just save time and do the wedding thing while the current priestess is alive, right?"

"Correct." She nodded "The only exception to this rule is the holy Sibyl-light. It is a glorious sight to see like Lady Lunaferyeth. Any ingested Moondust will give her a divine glow, a majestic otherworldly aura sealing the deal. No Wedding ceremony is needed."

"As for your last question: The custodians ensure that the moon priestess are on the right path. Only they have the authority to kill the Moon priestess. They are born and raised in our temples, never allowed to leave. They are incorruptible and answer to no one, not even the high king himself back when."

"I think I *might* have heard about those guys. Is it true that are the last surviving members of an extinct race?"

Lev shrugged " No one knows, their last sighting was 1032 years ago. They have been described as 'mind reading winged elves with four eyes'. Bunch of nonsense. "
