¡MIENTRAS TANTO!
https://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Fall%20of%20the%20Regime

Hail, Samuel "Chainsaw" Evil, our glorious leader! You are the rightful sovereign of this glorious nation of Paneira, through your firm but benevolent leadership you have advanced the people of this country. Although some foreign nations decry you as a dictator, you are loved and respected by your populace. Your military stand strong to defend this country, and your bureaucrats fair and just. Truly, it is by your immortal, Lich hands that this nation is great.

Or so it would seem.

In truth, it's not easy to manage a country. While you've successfully cooperated with Zayyine in return for a dozen Aqrab light tanks, there's still the question of who's been stealing Zayyine weaponry. Then, you've used magic to speak to the giant alien woman whose name is Astra - but also accidentally created a mad scientist. Then there's Soleil killing yet another citizen - which turns out to be an Eisen Doctrine remnant. Good thing you've cut a deal with the new underworld boss. Afterwards, you accidentally personally surveyed an ancient ruin which contains an extinct empire's library and another lich, among other things. After befriending the lich, you turned the ruin into a secret laboratory that studies the supernatural - when the Zayyine leader calls to say he'd sent all 12 Aqrabs. But wait, you've only received 6!

It's not easy being a dictator!

First things first, you suppose, and that is giving Itza his first task as the head of House of Letters. Well, Itza did want to check the physical and magical seals of the Anasazi tomb next door, and he's got a perfect staffmember to do it with.
A while later, Harry Gloomward is inspecting the gate with awe in his eyes, supervised by Itza.
"Such powerful wards! I would be honored to learn how to repair this, Mr. Itza."
"Very good, very good! Now, look with your third eye to that corner glyph, they're usually the first to wear out..."

You return to pressing matters: that of the missing six Aqrab light tanks. While king Harqa Wahid decides to check his shipping lanes, you decide to peek into your underworld.
"Ah, hello, President Sam. I hope none of my boys are troubling you?" The voice of Juan Martinez comes through The Telephone, lukewarm yet calculating.
"No, they've kept to their turf. What I need now is information - has there any rumor about foreign combat vehicles circulating in the black markets?"
"Well, that kind of info has a price..."
"As long as the info matches, I'll pay."
"Heh, alright. Just a thousand Dolores for this one, then. Military vehicles are generally too hot for black markets - but I'll keep an ear out. But I've heard rumors among the hired guns - mercenary companies are starting to move people and material towards El Carambol..."
El Carambol! The provincial capital of your westernmost province, Montenero. Parts of the province were seized from your neighboring country, Meldenza, as reparation for their invasion attempt some decades ago.
"Thank you for this intel. 1000 Dolores has been transferred to your offshore account."
"Nice doing business with you, President Sam." The line closes, leaving you to inspect a recently-arrived report.

Ever since the mass production of aero-gel was announced, the army immediately tries to use it as a better vehicle armor. Their military engineers have came up with this update to the 'Percevejo' APC: replacing the metal slats it uses as windows with transparent aero-gel, and adding modular aero-gel plates to the sides. Transparent aero-gel is way better than bulletproof glass, and definitely light enough for the APC to stay nimble on the battlefield.
You make a note to give all personnel involved a raise - just as Risonha calls you.

It's been a while since she contacted you, but you guess that she's working hard behind the cloak and daggers.
"Your excellency, we've finally tracked down who the Agitator is."
Oho, the slippery target finally slips!

(Contd.)

You give the order to black-bag the Agitator to Rosinha, knowing just how efficient she could be.

The same day, a sleepy college student of UNdP (Universidad Nacionale de Paneira) by the name of Mariposa Floriano waits for the bus to her campus in Materia City. A bag over her head later, she gets taken for a ride elsewhere, courtesy of Rosinha's agents.
After waiting in a concrete room, arms and legs strapped to a chair and vision obscured by the opaque sack, Mariposa can hear a door opening and closing. Then, someone speaks from behind her - so close that if it weren't for the bag, she'd feel the sweet honeyed breath carrying that Ranchero accent.
"Well, well, well! Look what we got here. Feelin' comfy? Hope you do, since I don't even know what'll happen next if you don't loosen your purdy lil' mouth."
"Please, I'll talk, ma'am, I'll talk!" Mariposa is trembling.
"Good. I have a few questions you could answer..."

Too bad you couldn't ask the Agitator personally, because you're on the way to El Carambol: the provincial capital of Montenero, your westernmost province.
The thing is, El Carambol is big - not Materia City big, but still sizable. It's built on the side of a mountain, over a long-depleted mining site, and sprawled in the usual Paneiran way. Those mercenaries must be lurking somewhere in the city, but where exactly? And also, what troops are you bringing with you?

Why are we picking a mixed squad? It's tactically more annoying to coordinate what amounts to a light tank and a flying bus instead of just two of each.

>What questions do you want to ask the Agitator?

Before asking her anything concrete, threaten her and try to make her give information freely.
Don't make it clear why she's being bagged, let her fill in the blanks on what SHE thinks we want.

If you ask a target a question then they might make up stuff related to those questions instead just to make you happy.

Cutting off the easily-accessible escape plan comes to mind, so you decide to arrive with your mixed squad onto the main elevated train station.
Indeed, within moments you've caught a handful of inexperienced or unlucky mercenaries that thought it would be that easy to get to El Carambol.
But, due to this operation the station's being temporarily blocked, and the local citizens are starting to feel uneasy. From their commute being unexpectedly delayed, to a rumor of another purge akin to the Materia City favela operation.
Good thing that you've caught these few mercs, though - some say the rest of the mercs are roughing it in the rocky wildnerness outside city limits, while others say the old mining tunnels are where the briefing would be done.
Where do you go next?

Meanwhile, you receive a call from Risonha on the way to your next destination.
"Your excellency, she spilled the beans! Turns out she's not the only Agitator out there - she's part of this Eco-cult splinter cell called Eyes Wide. She only gets contacted when there's a social issue near her area of operations."
"Oho, good job. She told you why she stirs up trouble?"
"Apparently this splinter cult believes that Gaia's will is to eradicate the social ills plaguing our country - admirable, but their methods can quite easily make the situation worse. I don't think they understood this much. Mariposa here truly believes she's helping the country, this way." A soft sob - or is it moaning? - can be heard faintly behind Risonha.
"Hmm, so they're bringing these problems up for me to fix for them. Concerning. So, got any names from her?"
"Oh, I pushed her a bit and she gave some. She named Jimmy Novelas as the current 'leader' of the Eco-cult, and then she gave me the Eyes Wide's leader, Yelena Williams. Curiously, she also namedropped Kruger Junkers, although who he is to the Eco-cult or the Eyes Wide is still to be seen."
"Very good. Wait for further instructions."
You close the line just as another report comes in.

Your foreign ministry had just sent a report that a member of Bordecian nobility is visiting - completely unannounced.
The third prince of House Bordec, Treytak von Bordec, had landed on Materia City just this noon, as you arrived on El Carambol. The prince immediately went to the Bordec embassy when informed that you are away from the capital.
Thing is, this visit is totally unexpected, and your diplomats in Bordec also reports this isn't an official visit.
So what led the prince to Paneira in the first place?

I have a question, IG. Is this conspiracy stuff with cult/murderer/etc planned out ahead, or are you writing it as we discover things/take actions?
>>
Again, do you people realize that there is quite literally nothing stopping her from taking the fall and telling the agitators the moment we return her?
>>
>>5416024
Trying to recruit her won't work only if we let her believe the lies. Besides, she can't demand to tall to higher-ups without putting a mark on her back - there's a pretty high chance they will end up bagging her ass like we did. You know, a field mook saying the president knows the organization leaders' names? They've got to at least consider the possibility of her being the one who gave the information.
Also, disappearing their agent for long mighy tip them off that something's up.
I propose we provide her proper (re)education on every bad shit that eco cult has done, how it affects the normies in the long run, apologize and convert her to our side, before sending her back quietly.
>>
>>5416034
She's a hippie. Our chances of indoctrinating her are small, and if we had a spell to indoctrinate people, we would have already used it on people like Risonha.
>>
>>5416029
Writing it up as we roll, so to speak. Of course, we could have different things happening if, say, we chose a different country to rule...

While you feel like the actual brains of this merc gathering might be booking out of the tunnels of El Carambol right now, you think that a bunch of hot-headed mercs laying about will cause more problems sooner than later. So you order your two mixed squads to the wilderness behind El Carambol instead - let's hope the intel is correct...
After just a half-hour, your Airforce snipers detected a former camp site that had been commandeered by mercs. From their helicopter vantage point, they can see about a dozen people setting up camp - they might have gotten here just this morning.
You have 6 Airforce snipers, 2 heli pilots, and 12 Army soldiers packed in a Percevejo mk. 2 APC. How should you proceed?

Before you make your move, though, you have two more things to do: one of them is dealing about the Eyes Wide member that Risonha captured. Well, they might have their own uses... you order Risonha to recruit her as a double agent in Eyes Wide.
An hour later, when the afternoon Academic District streets are the emptiest, Risonha leaves a dazed Mariposa next to a bus stop. If asked where has she been recently, she'll answer that she'd been gone on a Glimmer trip. Another pawn in Risonha's hands, ready to funnel intel when Mariposa receives them.

That done, you dial the next number on The Phone: that of the Bordec Embassy. Soon enough, Tretyak is on the other end of the line.
"Oho, Tretyak! It's been a while since you visited Paneira. Why, you were but a kid then. What brings you here, now?"
It is true, you recall about a decade ago when the Bordecian nobility took a diplomatic visit to Paneira. Tretyak was fascinated with your historical stories back then - then again, he was 13 then and 23 now.
"Uncle Sam! Aha, sorry for coming in unannounced. I know you're busy with presidential duties, but can you help me out with a personal matter?" His respect for you haven't diminished, all these years.
"Maybe, what is this matter of yours? I might be able to help after my business in El Carambol concludes."
"Aha, thank you, uncle! Well, to put it simply... I have fallen in love with a Paneiran girl I saw on international broadcasts. Could you help me find out who she is, so I can properly court her?"
Love, eh? Then again, isn't Bordec laws kind of strict with who their nobility could marry and whatnot? Tretyak's request might be a political minefield. But perhaps you could leverage some favor with Tretyak this way, and a closer Paneira-Bordec relationship...

"Treytak, I'll try to find as much information about her as I can - but how you approach her's all up to you." You say, mentally noting to check about Bordec nobility laws when you'fe back at the office.
"Oh, thank you, uncle! Yes, I'm fine with that." The young noble replies enthusiastically.
"Before that, though, can you give me more information about her? Just 'I saw her on television' is not enough, I'm afraid."
"Ah, indeed, uncle. I remember three things about her:
One, she wears glasses. I don't remember the exact model, but she looks elegant that way.
Two, she has this accent that just hits right, from how she spoke on TV.
Three, she was on TV, I see her kinda often when I tune to the Konami channel. That's all I could remember..."
"Well, good enough for an inquiry. I'll talk to you later, Treytak."
You close the line, looking at the soldiers ready for orders, sitting in the APC with you.

Remembering operation Favela Cookout and how these mercs may have heavy weaponry, Zayyine or otherwise, you order for the soldiers to dismount from their APCs - as well as you, because the APC might turn out to be a death trap. As such, you also order the heli to provide cover from a higher altitude. You order for the soldiers to approach from the woods to the north of the camp.
So far so good, they haven't been spotted yet. They report seeing two mercenaries discussing weapon calibers close to the edge of the woods, close to where the soldiers' entry point is supposed to be.

Just before you join them, The Phone rings again. Julia is on the other end.
"Sir, news about Solaire - he hit his next target - but left him alive."
In a condensed summary, and later on in detail back at your office, you receive a report that the investigative team had tracked Solaire's third target, the elusive lumberjack Kruger Junkers. They arrived to Kruger, hand pinned by a Bordec-made bayonet and bleeding on a table. Kruger was in emotions, and repeated "I'm sorry" over and over.

Soleil's identity is less important than what he is doing and why. He may not have stated his next target, but if we figure out ore details about the nature of his campaign here, we can puzzle it out ourselves.

Also, Risonha doesn't have glasses, Francesca doesn't seem like she'd have been on TV much (and is currently crazy and on lockdown)...

"Alright, handle it. Ask him about his past and the other targets."
You close the line, and prepare to give another order, this time to the soldiers in position.
"I want nonlethal captures, if possible. Go."
With a nod, the dozen soldiers pour out of the woods, assault rifles trained at the mercs. To their credit, the mercs know when they're outmanned and outgunned. Aside from the few that surrendered on the spot, the rest scatter to the wind.
Only three of the dozen or so mercenaries were captured. The snipers from their heli contacts you.
"We've got visual on the runners - should we take shots?"
"Negative, don't waste ammo on these likes. Return to rendezvous point, we'll be going home soon."
Your guess is correct, seeing at the three you captured doesn't look like officer material. In their haste to scram, the mercs left behind their equipment - the weapons are mostly old local army surplus, no Zayyine weaponry. There's a field radio with notes about a certain frequency, but nothing else.
Then again, you could ask your captives why they were congregating in El Carambol - back at the capital.

As you return, a report arrives from the liaison to the Interfeds, Lena Santos, regarding Kruger.
Apparently, most of Soleil's targets in Paneira were involved in an event known as the Massacre of Lukavic, where a village was suspected of harboring pro-Monarchist sympathizers and was burned alive in their own homes by Eisen Doctrine troops.
Kruger said that Norman was the officer who ordered the massacre, and Andre enacted it. Kruger, on the other hand, was sickened by the atrocity, and deserted right after. He said he rescued a child hiding outside the village as he ran, and that there's no mistake - that kid was Solaire.
You wonder how your airforce general Clifton or the fifth unknown target figured in the massacre, until you reviewed some official post-war inquiry by Bordec authorities. As a mercenary airman in the war, Clifton was ordered to drop incendiary bombs on 'enemy encampments in Lukavic', but didn't sortie out due to sudden bad weather.
As for the mysterious fifth, the info that the village harbored sympathizers was supplied by an 'Agent Succubus', a freelance spy under the employ of the Eisen Doctrine. Interestingly, this is the only time the agent is mentioned in the reports. They seem to have disappeared after the war was over.

Reading these Bordec reports reminded you to check out the Bordec nobility laws, and Treytak's possible paramour. As you call Julia to fetch the hefty law-book, you think that she might be the one. She's no stranger to being on TV - didn't she accompany you during that Eco-talk thing? She does wear glasses, but as far as you know, she doesn't have any accent - at least when speaking Panlatin, Paneira's official main language (and also several other nations' main language in the area). She might have an accent when she speaks Gothica, though.
"Ever thought of marriage, Julia? It seems that Treytak fancies you, or so I think."
She apparently didn't, from her blush and almost-stammered reply.
"Er, duty comes first, your excellency. Unless you order me to get close to him...?"
Well, you don't know exactly if Julia is the one Treytak likes, after all - should you tell him about Julia? Or set them up for a date?

We should talk to our airforce general Clifton about this. Soleil will still target him under the logic of "if there wasn't sudden bad weather, he still would've dropped those bombs", I expect.

Earlier in the day, you asked the captured mercenaries some questions. Apparently, they gathered there because a big-name St. Charlottan smuggler and pirate by the name of Big Mama Amadou was hosting an arms auction - and rumor has it that it's mostly Zayyine weaponry. No doubt that by now, the auction's cancelled or moved somewhere else due to your raid.
The mercs, in the meantime, can enjoy the comforts of your dungeon for now.

Elsewhere, in the suburbs of Vacasgrande, the capital of Norteste province, a government salaryman is dropped off at his new government housing. His neighbors pay no mind, as they are salarymen as well. The man that was Kruger Junkers looks at his house, remembers that he is now Gerald Zapata, and enters his new life.

Ah, where were we? Oh right, the Bordec Noble Laws. Written in Gothica legalese from a century past, it took you some time to decipher the rules for third princes.
So, basically, eligible bachelorette candidates must either be first cousins, a noblewoman of good standing (with a noble certificate to prove it), or an exceptional military woman. Aha! That's one concern down.

Now, it all comes down to Julia's own decision. You turn to her, who was diligently standing near you as you were reading the lawbook.
"Julia, are you at least interested in a date with Treytak?"
She blushes before replying.
"If it's a date... yes."
"Perfect! I'll arrange things, then."
Good thing, because even your undead trait of sleeplessness is starting to get drowsy reading this book.

Well, why don't we ask the ones involved on where they should date?
"Julia, where would you like to go on your date?"
"Oh, anywhere's fine, really!"
Ah, she's the accomodating type? Then you'll ask Treytak. Not a minute later, The Phone connects to the Bordec embassy.
"Hello, Treytak! I think I found the woman you're looking for. Since she's in my employ, I'd like to arrange a date between the both of you this weekend. Where would you like to go?"
You hear a sharp intake of a happy breath.
"Ah, thank you, Uncle Sam! I've always wanted to visit the Museum of Military History in Materia City - I would also like to treat her to dinner after."
Such refreshing youthfulness!
"Very well then, I shall arrange things over here."
"Again, thank you, uncle! By the way, what's her name? I'd like to prepare, too!"
"Her name is Julia Oxoa. I hope you two will have a fun!"

You close the line. Julia's still standing there with that blush on her cheeks, awaiting something.
"Well, there you have it, Julia. I order you to have fun this weekend!"
"Thank you very much, your excellency! I won't let you down!"
Her blush stays until her work hours are over. Ah, to be in love, how wonderful these fleeting lives must be.

Later on, you are Julia Oxoa, back in your government housing in a complex in Materia City's governmental district. It has been so long since you've had a date - you don't quite know prince Treytak outside his diplomatic profile.
Which brings you to this current clothing conundrum. You absolutely have to dress properly! Three major options stand out in your mind.

There's the formal party option, you rarely wear these except at governmental holiday parties. It's kind of revealing and the heels make mobility a bit slow, but you'll look stunning.

Then there's the cool casual option, the outfit you usually wear during the few vacation days you are able to take. It has more freedom of movement, even though the leather short jacket can sometimes come off as intimidating.

And then there's the military uniform, the one you always wear. It seems like prince Treytak might be a military buff, so this could be to his liking - but then again, who the hell wears their work clothes on a date?

Then there's the issue of your own interests - you just hope that there's enough overlap to make good conversation topics...

She's an military major and it's not exactly standard for a woman to dedicate her life to the army, so i'd say that she *has* to have at least some interest in military matters.

Our orders were to have fun. We should have fun. That said, I feel like showing up in uniform sends the wrong message. Like we're there on a job. Which we sort of are, but still.

You decided to stick to your trusty military uniform - the formal dress is a bit restrictive in movement and acceptable time to wear, while the casual clothing might not meet Treytak's standard.
And over all, it's what's the most comfortable for you - and what lines up with your interest: military stuff! It's why you entered the army in the first place, your heart just rises when you look at military hardware.
You hope you can see the artillery exhibit! You've heard about it, but your work had sadly prevented you from going to the museum since it was opened early this year. You've also wanted to see the medieval armor section - you heard they have a full set of Franconigerian Cavalry armor on display! Then there's the sword collection, they have almost every kind of sword from all over the world.

Days pass, and D-day comes. You arrive on-time at the museum, your uniform freshly ironed. Prince Treytak is already waiting outsidd, in a formally casual attire.
"Uh, hi." You couldn't calm down for a formal greeting, and this is what came out instead.
"Oh, my! You look more beautiful in person, Julia my dear!" Just where does Prince Treytak get that confidence?
"Ah, thank you. May I call you Treytak?"
"Of course, of course!" He gestures for me to take his hand.
"Between you and me, right now I'm supposed to be just Treytak, a tourist to Paneira. A suggestion from my bodyguards."
"Oh, I understand." You take his hand in yours, and the both of you enter the Museum of Military History.

The grand foyer is as breathtaking as the pamphlets make it to be. A set of Hinomoto levy armor, complete with spear! A display showcasing an ancient Zayyine shield and sword! Wheel-lock pistols and muskets from the Arcadian Independence era!
You notice that Treytak paused a bit as if mesmerized, or taking it all in to remember. Then, he spoke.
"Well, Julia - you're my 'local guide' here, why don't you pick which exhibit should we see first?"
"Well then, in that case..."

"...the Swords of the World collection! It is said to be one of the top ten most comprehensive sword collections of the world."
It's true - there are Indigenos Paneiran Machuachuitls and Mandaus, Zayyine Shamsirs, Cleavers and Khopeshes, St. Charlottan Dueling Epees and Machetes, Bordecian Gladii, Zweihanders and Choppers, and even one of a possibly prehistoric example of swords - a huge, broad two-handed sword made from bone.
Your heart is aflutter at the sight of so many swords, and you can see Treytak is also getting excited.

Especially when the two of you find the Bordec Royal Sword among the collection. Now, both of you know that this is but a replica - like the other royal or noble weapons in this museum - but still, you can't help but admire the blade.
"That is one fine blade, Treytak!"
"Indeed, the real thing's locked somewhere in the ancestral castle - I guess my brother Pervusha will have it if he doesn't abdicate as crown prince. Else Vtorak will get it, I guess."
"What about you, Treytak?"
He sighs. "Well, it's a finely crafted sword, dripping with Bordec history - but as the third in line, I may never get to touch it. Which suits me fine, by the way. Can't indulge in learning about history when I'm too busy handling matters of state."

It was at this moment that you sensed a pair of eyes watching you. A woman is suspiciously keeping an eye on you and Treytak, so you point at her.
"Treytak, who's that?"
He looks to the woman and lets a long sigh.
"That, my dear Julia, is my ex-fiance, Vanya. Vanya! What are you doing here?!"
Her deer-in-headlights expression doesn't say it all, but enough that she isn't supposed to be here.

Meanwhile...

"Risonha? I have a task for you, concerning Soleil. Meet me at my office as soon as possible."
Back in your presidential office as Chainsaw Sam again, you close the line and rest the receiver of The Phone down.
Behind you, a calm voice, yet resonating with cold, calculated vengeance rang out.
"Very good, Mr. President."
Soleil's silenced gun is aimed at your head. You're more annoyed at the gesture, and the fact that you have to play along unless you want the fact that you're a lich being known to this ruffian.
"There, satisfied?"
You didn't detect his presence at all as you entered your office today, nevermind how he got past your presidential guards.
"Perhaps, perhaps."

[END OF THREAD THREE]
>>
>>5442151
Gonna take a month-ish long break before I start Fall of the Regime's fourth thread - gonna shake off this writer's block, chalk up what's happened so far, and plot for the future.

In the meantime, feel free to ask stuff! It's going to be a QnA session until thread drops off page 10. Fire away!
>>
>>5442151
Dun dun DUUUNNN

>>5442154
What is the extent of Sam's magical power?
>>
>>5442154
So, Sam is just an skeleboy from who knows where, right?

How did he even come to become an dictator?
>>
>>5442151
Don't we have any spell that erases memory ?
>>
>>5442229
Sam's spells are more of the utility variety, and next to no offensive spells. He is risen as a lich to become a leader to his people after all.

>>5442270
Samhain arose in Tirna Nog, somewhere deep in the Old Country to the west of Bordec, sometime about two millenia ago. Liches may be eternal, but memory sometimes fade, and Sam does not perfectly recall his entire lichdom. He does remember:
>Rising as a lich
>Leading his people to the east during a little ice age
>Being hunted by anti-undead zealots in the dark ages
>Going into hiding in a crypt
>Ending up in Paneira when his sarcophagus was looted by pirates
>Starting an independence movement from behind the scenes
>Seized power during a messy power upheaval and turned it into his own country

>>5442295
Sam may have something like that, but he really, really hated using it because it erases some of his memories too, as a cost. He will only use it in very dire straits.
>>
Okay, i gotta finally ask, what is up with his face? It looks like a mask, a gas mask, some sort of frankenstein screw, an skeleton head and a hoodie all at the same time, so what is it?
>>
>>5442316
Skeleton in a hood, but with added gas mask filters and some slight glamor to make people think the skull is a mask.
>>
>>5442307
What a backstory! I dig it. Thanks for running, IG.
>>
>>5442336
Well he sure fooled me, spooky sneaky scary skeleton
>>
>>5442336
I see, so the mask filters are like, attached to his skull directly?
>>
>>5442151
Don't give up, skeleton!
>>
>>5442377
Technically, yes.
>>
>>5442151
This Soleil guy's really starting to wear out his welcome... thanks for running, Indo--still loving it! I guess since we're doing a Q&A, what can you tell us about the other countries besides our own? We've gotten a taste of a few, but what about the lesser-discussed places? How do they feel about our regime, if that's not too spoilery?
>>
Not an actual question to IG, but wouldn't it be easier for Sam to just take the shot and get Soleil? Just kill him with your hands or something.

He cant exactly do much with the secret if we're dead, but if Risonha comes, then we involve her, and we dont want *her* to know about our condition
>>
>>5442489
Well, the countries mentioned so far...
>Paneira (hey, that's ours!)
>Bordec: a parliamentary monarchy steeped in history, major trading partner with Paneira. Holds a warmish relationship with Paneira, sees us as a trade partner. Part of the Old Country and rhe Balkhans.
>Zayyine: major supplier of arms everywhere, whether they want to or not. Views Paneira cordially diplomatic-wise, as an equal in military matters. Also as a buyer of their oil.
>St. Charlotte: one of the prime tourist attractions of the world - but also the #1 site for offshore banks, and a historic site of piracy. Thinks of Paneira as yet another tourist source.
>Meldenza: rival countey to our west. Had a war with us a decase or so back, with them trying to nab Paneira's western provinces - and kinda backfired. Still views us with distrust and might still be planning something.
>Nordinnik: a snowy country to the north of Bordec. Mostly keeps to themselves. Views Paneira as an exotic country.
>Arcadia: a forested country way to the east of Bordec and Nordinnik. Our 'rival' in the lumber industry. Views Paneira as a far-off non-threat.
>Hinomoto: Far-off country on the other side of the world from Paneira. Economic and cultural powerhouse. Paneira is generally unknown to them.
>Tirna Nog: an extinct land where Sam is from, west of Bordec. Part of the Old Country, where it is now is occupied by the Albion and Hibernesse countries.
>Albion: a monarchy to the west of Bordec, historically colonized a lot of places. Views Paneira as a non-threat.
>Hibernesse: a republic to the southwest of Albion. Notable agricultural country, former ancient colony of Albion. Views Paneira as an exotic country.
>>
>>5442688
>Tirna Nog: an extinct land where Sam is from, west of Bordec. Part of the Old Country, where it is now is occupied by the Albion
The perfidous albion has no rest in his machination, does he? It is clear now that Sam must liberate his ancestral lands from those bloody hooligans.
>>
>>5443294
More like Tirna Nog ceased to be during that ice age Sam remembered, and afterwards people migrated to where Tirna Nog was and later became Albion and Hibernesse.
>>
>>5442545
We're SO doing it next thread, holy shit.
We can even safely attempt to dodge his barrel and disarm him, and if that goes well he'll be horrified of us and have no clue we couldn't die anyway so we can keep him alive.
>>
>>5444630
He's pretty skilled, so i doubt it.

But i suppose that it would be easier to let him yap about what the hell is his goal and then kill him.
>>
>>5444672
>He's pretty skilled, so i doubt it.
But there is no reason we can't try and get the best outcome, right? And everyone will think we're based if we succeed, it's free PR.
Can't miss out.
