We'll be taking a page from DB's origins and inspirations, so expect some wuxia, xianxia, and other Asian mythology elements added to the mix. The backbone will, of course, be based around DBO and Xenoverse where anyone no matter what race/species chosen can rise to number one. So you don't have to play a Saiyan if you want to be the top dog or expect the setting to be dominated by the obvious picks in terms of power level and overall growth.

Anyway, unless people specifically request seeing it ICly or its plot related, we're operating with the fact that you're usually training offscreen. I will give you chances to input what you're doing specifically and how well you do it through die rolls. But other than that, I will typically opt from actually depicting it as I feel like addressing training arcs is the dullest part of a DB quest. And unless it's something you really want to see at that point, it's best to gloss over most of it.

Ten years, it was only two short words, yet they carry so much meaning in the grand scheme of things. A lot can happen in such a period. For instance, it has been that long since the first strike between the two races. The natives are Tsufruian of Planet Plant and the immigrants are known as the Saiyans of Planet Salad/Saiya. From a glance, it was clear that these two races were the antithesis of one another. The Tsufruian was a highly advanced, technologically gifted race of human-like beings. While the saiyans are a very primitive, barbaric race who was just as human-like as the Tsufruians. The sole difference of course was their tails and beast-like attitude.

Gifted with exceptional intelligence, the Tsufruians were mainly a docile race who demonstrated no aggressive tendencies or internal strife. They were a race of inventors, scholars, doctors, and other venues that complemented their intelligence. Choosing to advance their civilization and the betterment of all sentient species. Hence why when the saiyans arrived in their home world, rather than opting towards violence they aimed for more peaceful solutions. Leading to them ultimately taking the orphaned saiyans and establishing a co-existence with the mighty warrior race. Completely unaware of the true folly of their decision until it was far too late.

Originally, they kept to themselves, with the Tsufruians stationed in the more fertile areas of Planet Plant, while the saiyans stayed in the badlands. Rarely did they ever interact as their viewpoint was too radically different to be of any serious merit. The few times they came together for a common goal, it was often concise and once it was over, they went back to their isolation forthwith. This was the main setup for what must have been centuries. At some point, the Saiyans grew resentful of the ever-advancing cities of the Tsufruians. Ultimately, deciding to conquer the planet, the saiyans began their sudden uprising against the natives of Planet Plant.

Despite their vast assortment of machinery and weaponry, the people of planet plant were only able to halt the Saiyan invasion. Often coming to a standstill with few wins here and there. To their surprise, despite their previous studies, the Saiyans were quite robust and tenacious. True to their moniker, they boasted phenomenal physical prowess and honed fighting capabilities. Because of this, the saiyans through brute force were able to overpower the state-of-the-art technology of the Tsufruians. Despite that, they weren’t unable to make solid ground against the natives. Although they adapted to whatever tricks they pulled, the Tsufruians were developing at a highly accelerated rate.

The war ended up making the once peaceful race sharper and more effective in the heat of combat. Slowly but surely, they were getting the edge with their technological advancements. One in particular known as the Scouters managed to deeply turn the tide. Studying the extraterrestrials of Planet Cereal, the Tsufruians were able to replicate the famed visual acuity with dangerous efficacy. Couple with their battle suits and “formation” aka magical-like transformations, it wasn’t long before the Tsufruians began dominating as they took control over the flow of battle. Over time, it was all but assured that the Tsufruians would win and drive the saiyans to the breaking point.

However, the Saiyans would find one final trump card, the rising of Planet Plant’s moon. Previously they were to tap into their primal power lock dormant within them for a huge burst of strength. These were sporadic and often lasted for a flickering moment to a short while in battle. Those who were able to fully tap into the raging fury of the mighty Oozaru would often succumb to its fury and self-destruct. Much like the legends foretold of the famed Super Saiyan or the war between the righteous saiyans and the evil saiyans with their supped-up forms. And the ascended state granted from their Zenkai power was equally rare, thus hard to rely on especially as the Tsufruians ultimately countered every advantage.

All except the transformation granted to them by seeing the full moon. Basking in the Bruits waves created by the celestial energies, the saiyans were able to fully return to their original forms. In a single night, the Saiyans would brutally attack and dominate the Tsufruians. One by one their proud cities would fall to these relentless onslaughts. Not even their pride tools such as the battle suits or transformations were able to overcome them. Despite their best efforts, it was inevitable that the natives of Planet Plant would fall to the savagery of the Saiyans. Thus, it was only inevitable that their last moments would be tailored to securing their legacy.

With the Saiyans victory all but assured, the Tsufruians put their last effort into creating a new race. Although the Tsufruians who chose to stay on the planet would fall, they would leave behind a mighty legacy. Through toil and moil, they would effectively give birth to the creation of the ultimate lifeform. The Neo-Tsufruians, a biomechanical race carrying the organic template of the Tsufruians. If they had the time, they could’ve converted the Tsufruians into bio-androids and battled the saiyans. Alas, they had to settle on germinating their hopes and future on the Neo-Tsufruians. Either the living legacy of the Tsufruians or the ultimate antithesis to the saiyans, it was a tossup left entirely on fate.

Just as it was completed, the cornerstone for the Tsufruians suddenly disappeared in a golden light. Left with very few options, the Tsufruians launched their backup plans as well as the vast well of their advancements and knowledge into space. Leaving it up to chance to decide the future of the universe, the remaining Tsufruians made their final stand against the Saiyans. Although they would fall into the hands of these savages, they would forever leave a mark on the Saiyan race. As a result, the saiyans learned to utilize the tech left behind by their greatest adversaries. Reforming themselves as conquers as they set out to make a living. Eventually, being drafted into Cold’s army and by extension much later Frieza.


Elsewhere, far from the former Planet Plant as it was now named Planet Vegeta, the golden light would re-emerge. Having been cocooned by its brilliant aureoles, the single Neo-Tsufruian of Project Pinch found itself being reborn again. Infused by the cosmic divinity of what appears to be a gargantuan golden serpentine-like dragon, the larval bio-android would find itself transitioning far quicker than it would normally on its own. While encased within the oval-shaped golden incubation pot, the Neo-Tsufruian would soon pick up on two individuals currently speaking. All the while catching the last words from the one that has brought them there as it begins to depart.

“Your wish has been granted. The one you seek to help make your deepest desires come true has been born anew. With that, I’ll take my leave, farewell. "Without hesitation, the cosmic golden dragon disappears in a cosmic array of multiple lights. Leaving the ginormous dragon balls to vanish back into the void, leaving it to the next seeker to find them out after a year of dormancy.
“Are you sure that this is what you want, Lord Beerus?” said a rather tall man with blue skin and white hair currently style in a pompadour-like fashion. He was wearing formal garb befitting his position as an attendant with an angel’s ring currently floating around his neck. Holding a rather long staff with a planet sphere at the top, currently resting in the middle of a large ring. “Finding those dragons wasn’t an easy feat. And I’m sure even now your brother will most certainly be roused to action.”

“It’s fine, Whis. Don’t be such a worry-wort. I like to believe we worded the wish perfectly to cover a multitude of things. "The voice this time came from a rather lean if not fit purple anthropomorphic cat. Donning an Egyptian attire befitting of a god, the one known as Beerus casually waves his hand while having a sly smile.

“Like the idol that you foresaw in one of your prophetic dreams? May I remind you that those prophetic visions are rarely accurate. Isn’t that precisely why we gathered the dragon balls to ensure that this one comes true?” Whis remarks, keeping his eyes on the cocoon.

“First off it was also a pop star, a rather cute one in fact. Secondly, don’t patronize me Whis, even though I know that my visions don’t always take into account a margin for error. But know this, they come true in some form or another, and this one won’t be any different.” Beerus says, getting antsy over being questioned about his precious vision. “Besides, you know this wasn’t the only reason for the wish.”

“Right, you also wanted someone capable of cooking the very best meals the universe can offer, both past, present, and future. To which I’m a little offended since I think I’m quite the great cook myself.” Whis remarks, showing a tinge of being genuinely upset about the cooking bit. “I’m also a great singer.”

“That you are, but you should look at this as a positive. It means less work for you, and I know how much you don’t like doing the dishes. But that’s beside the point, sure it’s reassuring knowing that my very lasting desires will be fulfilled by our new companion. My biggest one of having an ultimate rival to challenge me finally coming to fruition is the true takeaway from this endeavor.” Beerus counters, not letting the angel put him down as he was truly excited for the first time in a very long time.

“Hmm, I didn’t take you to still be so upset about missing the chance to fight that Yamoshi character. Wasn’t Pikkon, the savior of Universe 7 against that nasty Majin Ozotto good enough to satiate you.” Whis interjects, recalling the cat’s fury at being halted from fighting a once-of-a-lifetime adversary due to Shin’s request.

“Yes, he was a strong fighter, perhaps the best the Universe has produced in a good while. But he didn’t have a speckle of Divinity in him, unlike that Saiyan God.” Beerus spoke, stroking his chin as he tries to recall said fighter. “It’s such a shame that Yamoshi’s spirit lingers through the cosmos instead of passing on to the next world. I would’ve been happy getting to fight him on Grand Kai’s planet.

“You could always pop into hell and fight the Legendary Dark (Evil) Saiyan God if you truly desire such a fight.” Whis retort.

“Too much of a hassle. Besides, that corruptible dark ki gives me the creeps. It won’t work on me naturally, but I rather not have to deal with breaking out in hives despite the great fight that Super Saiyan figure might give me.” Beerus remarks, folding his arms in mild annoyance before turning back to the pod. “Still, those saiyans might be worth keeping around a little longer. Surely one of them will produce another Saiyan God for me to fight. Or a Super Saiyan I suppose.”

After that conversation took its course, both Whis and Beerus left via the angel’s fast travel method. Naturally taking the golden cocoon that you currently reside in along with them. Compared to most rapid movement techniques or abilities, this was on a godly level for it revolved around spatial warping. Through traveling inside this white space, anyone could travel virtually anywhere and arrive at their destination at lightspeed, including dimensions. Time travel was also possible through this method but is rightfully frowned upon given the ramifications. In just the span of an average tv show, all three of you would arrive on Lord Beerus’s planet.

Once you arrived you were personally carried by the attendant, leaving Lord Beerus to head toward the Oracle Fish to reaffirm something. Although Whis personally had no intention of disturbing your incubation period, the angel did nudge his master on precisely what should be done with you. To his surprise, he would be met with a resounding “leave them be for the time being” answer. After confirming it with the Oracle Fish prior, Lord Beerus strongly believed that it was best to allow you to slumber and cultivate unabated. He didn’t want his new idol and potential rival to come out half-baked due to impatience. That, and it was less of a hassle than tending to the larval once it broke from its cocoon.

Thankfully, both you and Whis shared the same sentiment as Lord Beerus, though your reasons were far different compared to the God of Destruction. Perhaps it was intuition or something that went beyond mere instinct that drove you to this decision. Whatever the case, you proceed to focus entirely on your development, opting to take it slow and steady. As a Neo-Tsufruian you believed yourself to be the pinnacle of all living things in the universe, far more dignified than just a mere ultimate biological weapon. As such it was pivotal for you to take your incubation seriously. Even in your infancy, you were perceptive and constantly aware of your surroundings.

Thus, all of your cells screamed at you the insurmountable and imminent danger coming off from Lord Beerus. Though you couldn’t sense his aura or ki, you could feel the presence that he was giving off. It was a clear sign to not be complacent and underestimate the feline. At the drop of a hat, he could easily change his mind and end your existence. That was something that you absolutely couldn’t let happen no matter what. Right now, you would do whatever you can to ensure your survival. Even if it only extended by a day, you would do whatever the cat wanted if it was necessary to preserve your life. Survival was the only thing that mattered to you, for you carried far more than just your own life.

For the next nine years, you would remain hanging at the cornerstone of a massive oak tree. You were left undisturbed for the most part, mainly leaving you to your own devices. The only time you were approached was when Whis decided to keep you updated on current events upon sensing your inherent sensitivity and attunement. For Lord Beerus’s benefit, it was beneficial in teaching you everything you needed to function and serve him properly. The wish from Super Shenron while all-encompassing was equally nebulous, so it was better to fill in the blanks personally than forcibly have you adapt and develop through experimentation.

Through Whis you managed to learn about things such as the constant rise of the Cold Force, the annexation of the Saiyans by the galactic overlord, the conquering of planets for the Planet Trading Organization, and the mass genocide of the habitants of Planet Cereal. While this didn’t deter you from your mediative cultivation, you couldn’t ignore that these events struck a chord with you. Especially whenever it came to the Frost Demons and the Saiyans, between the two the Saiyans held the higher target for your ire. At the same time, you can’t ignore the ringleaders and only forward these restless fits of passion. Something had to give.

Thinking about the comment Whis just made, you took a long pause to muse it over. Focusing your gaze right back on your right arm, and soon your left leg, and so forth. But what was truly damning was that it was a consequence of the wish Beerus made and as a result chose not to address it. Granted, it came from his subconscious so it might not even be known to him purposely, but that doesn’t make it any better. How could a god of all things act in such an insouciant way? It was all the more impressive because of those factors that Super Shenron was able to fulfill his copious desires to the wire given how nebulous they are.

Survival was still your prime objective as you couldn’t die no matter what. So logically the best course of action is to swallow those bitter feelings and endure the humiliation put upon you. Although you could tap into the strange source of bioenergy known as Ki, you knew for a fact it was insignificant to the invisible, godly presence that the cat carried. All of your senses, despite not being able to perceive and understand it fully, were still able to gauge the danger level coming off from Lord Beerus. He was far more terrifying than the galactic emperor or the mightiest of Saiyan warriors.

Boiling it down to the basic principles, appeasing Lord Beerus was the sound way to ensure survival. And yet, was this really the right thing to do? Could you really extinguish these feelings and allow your pride to be trampled like this? Could you follow such a person and do what he asked despite the transactions done to you? Truthfully, you didn’t know since you never met the deity directly. The only thing you had to go by was the information given to you by Whis during your slumber. But that was just second-hand information, not something to influence such an important decision as this.

And if it can surpass Heles’s Champion Brianne de Chateau, then I couldn’t be happier. I get to rub it in Heles’s pompous face AND my brother Champa’s as well on top of having a fated rival. I have a few ideas for compromises.
1) We have to substitute his duties throughout a certain period so he can rest more/attend idol concerts without missing work.
2) We have to improve the mortal level of the universe in a significant way. By like, half a point or something.
3) We have to, at some point in the future, sabotage Champa's efforts to make an Idol. If Beerus made one, Champa is definitely going to try to do the same.

In the blink of an eye your amorphous, androgynous appearance quickly melded into a blank slate. Becoming an amorphous mass of slightly blue and translucent ooze in the process. Setting itself briefly into a hermaphroditic state before it began to take away the more masculine features for the time being. Upon completing the suppression and isolation, your body soon starts to sculpt a perfect representation of the female form. Carefully adjusting the right proportions and ratios is necessary while outlining the right balancing contours to avoid becoming an engrossing caricature.

Both the God of Destruction and his Angel attendant were met with quite a remarkable sight. They would see your body becoming curvier and chicer, gunning for a well-endowed physique that was equally robust as it was voluptuous. “I don’t see any problem in that. If you’re going to fulfill your job properly then it’s only natural that you would seek to gain experience through field training. Though, I’m sure my attendant Whis will also be training you to ensure that you become worthy either as my arch-rival and/or someone who I can trust to fulfill the tasks I ask to get done.” Beerus calmly smiled, brushing it aside as he was so happy to care.

“That’s the thing since I’ll be busy pursuing that path, I don’t think it’s wise to have me become this pop idol that you seek. A lot of time will be invested in development and thus obtaining my perfect form naturally. So, doing something like being a pop idol would only take away from that time, delaying your most wanton desires in the process.” You continued.

“Are you saying that you’re incapable of something as simple as being a pop idol?” Beerus asks, breaking from being deeply enthralled by your charms to act more like a proper God of Destruction. A tinge of disappointment and anger was twinkling in his eyes. “I find that hard to believe given the magnificent beauty that is standing in front of me. It’s as if you’re insulting me, Ms. Ultimate Lifeform.”

“No, what I am implying is that it would be more beneficial if I were to merely develop someone to be your idol. Either by shaping them through training and conditioning or creating them personally. Both are within the realms of my capability.” You explain, trying to appease Beerus with your reasoning before the goodwill you developed with the cat soon soured.

“Hooo...Now that sounds interesting. By what you’re implying, you strongly believe you can make an idol just as good if not better than yourself.” Beerus pauses, cracking a callous smile as he strokes his chin.

Thus, it would be in your best interest if I were to serve as a substitute and serve his duties throughout a certain period(s) so you can do things that you enjoy without worth such as sleeping and attending idol concerts. In addition, I will strive to improve the quality of the universe and up the level of mortals in a significant way. By at least half a point or something. I will also bring you the best foods the universe can offer as your chef. And lastly, if you so desire, I will also sabotage Lord Champa’s affairs if you so choose. Whichever it may be, including wanting an idol, I will do to the best of my abilities to impede him with the imperium, nascent power of mine.” You declare.

Having listened closely to your offer, Beerus starts to fold his arms as he closes his eyes. He was letting it stew deeply upon musing on your offer. “That does sound like a really good deal,” Beerus replies, mulling it over some more. With that Formation ability, you'll more than likely obtain enough emotional support to ascend into the realm of the gods. Both you and Whis blinked profusely at the statement before holding their tongue to let Beerus explain.

“I believe the one known as Majin Buu was such a being, though that was mainly due to absorbing and fusing with both the Grand Supreme Kai and the South Supreme Kai. Although, North and West were also incorporated into the Majin after their defeats albeit somewhat different than the aforementioned. So, for our dear friend, it must be a byproduct of Super Shenron’s powers coursing through them. “Whis explains.

“Completing both of these tasks as my apprentice will surely prove to everyone in the chain of divinity your worth and further solidate your potential standing as one of us. So do well to live up to my expectations.” Beerus soon turns his back towards you, looking at his scenery one more time before he would sleep for forty years.

Sensing the bloodlust emitting from the God of Destruction reminded you once again just how overwhelming his presence is. That intense volume of killing intent was so vast that it felt bottomless. In response to this, your body merely enshrouds itself in the same golden light as before. Acting mostly as a buffer to try and diffuse the dominating destructive force exuding from Lord Beerus. Truthfully, you wanted to follow your survival intuition and avoid the danger in front of you. Even in your perfect, adult body thanks to Formation, you know deep down you didn’t stand a chance against him. However, what was overpowering your survival instinct and common sense was something more powerful. Pride. Pride in not just yourself but the pride you feel carrying the legacy of your entire race and planet. You couldn’t let it slide even if it would kill you. But you weren’t a fool either.

Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath, you curled your lips into a smile. “Then that only reaffirms my suspicions and makes things easier.”

“Oh? So what? Do you want to fight me in response to me forcibly changing you to be a hybrid containing the very components of the race your creators hate so much?” Beerus inquires, accepting the prospect with alacrity as he starts to stretch his arms. “Whis told me this might happened once we took the initiative to look into your origins and document your changes since your arrival on my planet. But just like I told him back then, it's irrelevant compared to my desires. That said, I’ll be happy to take you on and thoroughly beat into you the despairing gap between the two of us.”

“That won’t be necessary. I can already gauge and assess the seemingly insurmountable gap between you and me. And from my initiative, I know that no matter how intense my emotions are or how bottomless my capability for growth and development is. It won’t close the gap in time nor allow me to adapt long enough to come up with a means to defeat you, Master Beerus.” You retort, keeping your eyes closed and your hand against your chest.

You will recompensate me once I get you to say I’m sorry, but most of all you will acknowledge me. Not as some galactic pop idol, not some errand boy to fulfill a prophecy, but as your TRUE archrival and successor. Remember the name Konzen Douji, Master Beerus.”

“Not at all Master Beerus, in fact, I thank you for giving me a reason to become stronger. A necessary drive to keep pushing my limits and seeing how far I can go, provided I have any at all. And if I do, I’ll just merely break my limiter and keep pushing for that absolute strength. All with the intent of fulfilling your desire of having your fated archrival, to supplant the Saiyan God you’re so fixated with, and solidating my place as both the ultimate lifeform and supreme being. Making you apologize is just a bonus, a bonus strong enough to exceed any form of hatred I’ve inside of me.” You explain, opening your eyes as you display an intense golden glow. A radiance much like the sun as it reaches the pinnacle of its prominence. All the while boasting a wide, cheeky smile onto the God of Destruction.

“Well then, I look forward to you trying your best to live up to such boasts. If you can do all that, then I know the wish I made was truly the best decision in my life. Till then, tata.” With a confident smile, Beerus eyed you for a few moments longer before finally leaving. Keeping himself from wanting to throw his hands at such a tantalizing opponent took every ounce of willpower he had. Yet deep down he knew it was necessary, nor did he want to soil what would be a truly exhilarating fight with such a milquetoast beginning.

Taking notice of the giddy smile on his face, Whis merely looks back at you as you regress to your standard form. A smile soon formed on the angel’s face. "Well Said, young Konzen. You certainly made your mark on my Lord. As well as taking the first big step towards finding out what makes you tick and by extension defining your existence.”

Though I’m sure he loves the challenge, you should be made aware that if you lose...he may very well force you to become that Galactic Pop Idol. Normally he would just erase you with his Hakai, but I think he has grown attached to you in his way to do so. Hence why he stirred you up earlier.” Whis remarks, catching the sight of you nearly falling to the ground upon the punishment for losing.

Honestly, I didn't expect it to go this way too, but I'm happy about it. Something about an ultimate weapon/the hope of a dying race getting ensnared in the whims of a fickle god. And achieving the path of godhood through stardom/modern idolization is so Toriyama it hurts. It also helps that this entire ordeal gave you genuine urgency to the overarching plot and reasons to get involved with the conflict in DB.

Why? Let me tell you why.
Yardrat is likely to be one of the greatest sources of U7's mortal level at the moment. The inhabitants are peaceful, well cultured, spiritually enlightened, and have dedicated themselves to an art that literally lets them go anywhere they want while having the restraint to restrict themselves to never go off-world. They're a little technologically lacking from what I can tell, so that's one significant thing we can help shore up.

On the personal level, they're easily the best choice to learn from for laying down a perfected foundation. Whis may be an attendant that's supernaturally gifted with teaching, but you have to remember that he's used training people of MUCH higher tier, and he seems to teach a very specific style with the intent of passing on UI...
And I imagine perfecting Spirit Control is going to be harder in the future than it will be in the present.

Lastly...well, it's a really good jumping off point. The yardrat are pretty in tune with when shit's going down elsewhere in the universe due to their absolutely insane extrasensory range, so once we finish what we need to do on Yardrat we can go somewhere else. Maybe Namek next, to help them rebuild from the planetwide hurricanes from a few hundred years ago.

But all that effort and time could be better used through building the foundations of those before you. You weren’t so prideful that you wouldn’t accept guidance, especially if it was beneficial to you.

From what you understood of your biology you had essentially a set number of evolutionary stages or development transformations. Your initial form upon birth was called the chrysalis stage or Yochuki, and fully developing from that was the true initial form called the Baby Form or Younenki. Evolving from that stage puts you at your intended default form known as the Youth Form or Seichouki. Through the use of external sources like the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum Amplifier Device and Formation (Keisei). You could ascend into the next two forms, the first being your Adolescence Form or Seijukuki, and the second being your Perfect Form or otherwise called Kanzentai.

With the former, you believe that if you were to get through this barrier that your Saiyan essence has put around you. Then you would easily be able to transcend into the true Adolescence state without the need for outside assistance. As for the Perfect Form, that would require a substantial amount of energy and strength even for your herculean standards to achieve. As you are now, even when using both methods, it was only a mere Shallotte of the true Perfection the completed form would give. If you were to spend another ten years in hibernation, such a thing may have been possible.

However, you would’ve lost the precious time necessary to fulfill your agreement. No matter how powerful your perfect form is, the price to obtain it through meditation and cultivation was far too great to allow. Thus, you would achieve the form through the old fashion way of rigorous training and conditioning. You were assured that such a thing was possible. After all, you were meticulously fashioned and molded by Super Shenron into the ultimate lifeform. If you couldn’t pull this off through your own strength, then you had no right to refer to yourself as either it or the personification of the supreme being.

So, with that, you set off to Whis once you were alerted that Beerus has went into his forty-year slumber. Upon reaching him you begin to convey your desire to begin your warrior journey. To which Whis was more than ecstatic to send you on your way. While he didn’t have any qualms teaching you, the angel strongly believed for your state of mind to truly flourish, it needed to leave the nest. Only once you have seen the universe and amassed enough physical and mental strength will he take you back. To personally build upon what you learn and mold you into Beerus’s greatest archrival.

From his suggestions, you were given a few planets to choose from. Three places, in particular, stood out to you. The first was a quaint and cozy planet called Earth. It was far from the technological advancements of the Tsufruian race of Planet Plant. However, it was still adequate for your technological endeavors, more importantly, boosting the finest martial prowess skills among the galaxies. Well, outside of the godly training of course. It was also home to many magical and other supernatural elements. There were even some psychics roaming around. Indeed, it was a melding pot of various paths and foundations.

The second choice was a planet known as Namek. Unlike the flourishing Earth, Namek was deeply underpopulated. Having suffered from world-threatening climate changes, the Namekian people barely escaped extinction. As a result, they were more of a peaceful, contemplative culture comprised of farmers, magicians, and philosophical warriors. What they lack in technological advancements they more than made up for it with their sage-like abilities and achievements. Their myriad of abilities, be they spiritual, mystical, or psychic, made them a treasure trove just as valuable as earth.

There were others like planet Cereal to pick from that would be a good learning experience. But ultimately you opted to travel to the last major place out of the trinity that caught your interest. That is planet Yardrat, home to the ascetic monks known as the Yardratians. Although physically weak as a race, they are foretold to have a plethora of unique abilities, including apparently the ability to manipulate space and time. Out of the three, they are the most attuned to the spirit and the intrinsic energies that permeate through the body. Earning your attention with enthusiasm.

So with that, you headed immediately with Whis’s assistance to planet Yardrat. They were planning to spend however long necessary in obtaining the secrets in their ways. And perhaps doing some good in helping them defend themselves appropriately.

Arriving at Planet Yardrat took next to nothing as you were genuinely impressed by the method of travel. Having experienced it once before in your chrysalis state, you could easily discern the difference from then to now. Being within the dimensional space was truly breathtaking and it left you speechless. It was just an infinite white void deprived of any traces of life, but its sheer purity was deeply moving. It struck deep with you as it resonated with your whole being. It was as if you found absolute space, the supreme territory that only the truly enlightened can reach.

All it took was a mere thirty minutes to reach Beerus’s planet to Yardrat. And yet it would feel like an eternity, not because of mind-numbing boredom mind you, but a euphoric tranquility. This torrential wave of jubilation mixed with equanimity was as ephemeral as it was ubiquitous. It was tough to describe as you found yourself immersed in the experience. Its sensation was so overpowering yet enriching that you were more or less lost in the moment. Practically swept in the steams of the white space’s shaft, blending in with the current as you become truly one with it.

By the time you returned to the physical plane, it was already over as you stood on planet Yardrat. Your body still remembers the experience as it scrupulously retains the memory and the experience associated with it. Boundless raw information floods your mind from the unlimited white void, almost paradoxical as you feel like you know everything yet know nothing at all. A phenomenon where you can see and feel everything while not being able to see or feel anything simultaneously. Experiencing this firsthand only made you crave the absolute territory all the more.

“Master Whis, what exactly was the move you used to transport us here? As you ask this, you begin taking account of your surroundings, adjusting to the real-time as you realign from instinctively using a form of time dilation. Noticing the rocky surface, the canyon-like terrain, and the yellow skies.

“This old trick? It’s called Warp. It’s a transportation technique used by godly attendants to transport their respective gods between realms. Be it spatial, temporal, or any other form of dimension. It’s on par with the Kai-Kai technique the gods like the Kais and Guardians use to travel. Yet it also carries its advantages despite the two having different principles.” Whis answers.

Nodding again you merely bid Whis farewell before turning to the city where the populous lies. Holding both the communication device and the badge marking you as a student of Whis and cementing your authority as a god in training. While Beerus dangled the prospect of becoming a true student to the god of destruction, his authority did cement you as a trainee and assistant to the gods. So, anyone who was aware would be able to perceive your standing despite not having the essence of the divine. That said, it still marks you as a mere fledgling rather than anyone truly important.

Putting them aside through the use of your body manipulation abilities, you begin to utilize Hikou through your meditative powers to achieve flight. “Welcome, fellow stranger. What brings you to this planet?” One of the Yardratians spoke, a rather tall pink-skinned man with tendrils on his bulbous head and pointy ears. He was wearing the monk-like garbs of his fellow people as he has his hands behind his back.

Showing politeness to the stranger, you merely bow before speaking. “I am Konzen Douji, I have come to this planet to refine and better myself. I wish to learn what you people call Spirit Control, and by extension...”

Okay then, it's with great pleasure to I add my warmest congratulations on the fruits of your labor with Yardrat. You have more or less solidate yourself as the Jiren of Ki and Spirit Control. Not only can you use explosive power to go 0 to 100%+ at the drop of a hat, but you more or less tempered your Saiyan aspects. So unless you personally want it, you can put the breaks upon turning into a giant, raging Oozaru whenever the moon is full as well as contextualize many lost abilities that currently elude modern Saiyans. Like the Red-Eyes Oozaru state Shallot, Goku and Bardock displayed (Need something like Ultra Divine Water and/or Potential Unlock if you want to full Broly) and Cumber's Evil Aura manipulation but without the Evil. Just raw primal power.

Personally, I was thinking of a technique that branches from the "Healing" capabilities of Spirit Control. An ability that supercharges the target's cells, causing every single one to work well beyond their normal ability until the energy bestowed by the technique fades. Natural regeneration, thought processing, ki flow, pretty much everything the body is normally capable of being sped up a considerable degree. It'll run off the charge we give it so that it doesn't severely impact the target's lifespan like it would otherwise. I'm also down for more advanced forms of healing, possibly something combined with our knowledge to at least partially undo telomere shortening? Age is one hell of a drug in this universe.


Maybe also something like Spirit Polarization, to cause a target to attract ki to it or force ki away from it akin to magnetic forces. If we could pull it off, it'd be a gamechanger in a LOT of fights, since you could have attacks from all parties home in on a target with little effort or impede absorption/gathering efforts. Or just try to make sure something has a harder time getting hit.

The rest of my ideas are kind of shit but if I refine them at all I'll bring them up.

“That’s quite the shocking news mister. And don’t think we’re not grateful for the offer. But.” Stepping from the group was a tall, if not a somewhat lanky man with virtually no wrinkles on his fuchsia-colored face. He was wearing the standard Yardrat garbs as the rest but there was a buoyance towards him that made him stand out from his brethren. His name was Nishin.

“We want to know if there’s a catch or a price for your services. Unless you’re just planning on doing this as a show of gratitude for teaching you our ways provided our leader accepts you.” Following Nishin was a more feminine figure Yardratian, though the armor did well to cover up that fact for the most part. Her softer, more round features made her charming, though she was giving a far more watchful and attentive vibe in comparison to Nishin. Her name was Nameko.

“No, it’s something else entirely. What I have planned for gratitude is helping you with your teachings in any way possible. If this spirit control can truly hone my spirit and the vital life force that is ki/chi, then I can mold it into fashioning techniques based on my experiences and abilities. This by extension would naturally be beneficial to you since I have every intention of sharing my findings with you. Just like how I hope you will with me.” You explain, going into more detail about it. “There’s more but I feel like it would be best if I talk with your leader first.”

“I got a real good feeling with this one. He has the mind and heart of a scholar just like us.” Nishin spoke fondly. Turning his head to look at his fellow Yardratians slowly coming around to you.

“Possibly, though I would be more incline to call him a seeker.” Nameko muses as she taps her chin. A soft smile soon forms on her pronounced, full lips as she gets a good look at you. “I think despite that, Grand Elder Pybara would take a liking to you. Come. We’ll show you the way.”

With that, you proceed to follow the two Yardratians deep into the heart of the city. All the while taking notice more of the scenery while remaining aware of your surroundings. It was no Planet Plant but the people in this world were fairly technologically advanced. They have all the standard fare commonly found on most sentient worlds. Running water, electricity, automatic machinery, you name it. For a city run by nomads, it was fairly impressive, but still, pedestrian compared to your original world. Even so, it was rather comforting being surrounded by technology, no matter how primitive or advanced it was.

In no time at all, you currently found yourself within the inner chambers of the grand elder. To your surprise, you would be met with quite a sight. From what you could tell from his attendants that there were two types of Yardratians. The ones who greeted you were of the first, known for their big heads, pinkish skin, antenna-like whiskers on their faces, bulbous eyes, and pointy ears. The second type was those who are far more simplistic with their rounder heads and almost slime-like bodies. In comparison to the first, they were much shorter in stature. They also lacked ears, smaller eyes, and a pointed tip on their head, and their skin color varied between blue and green.

Comparing these two together they had a little yin-yang dynamic to them that made both quite endearing to you. Even so, what truly caught your attention was the giant light blue Yardratian from the second type. Immediately you put two and two together and deduce that this was the leader just by his presence. In comparison to the others, he seems like the most experienced and honed. Physically you could tell both types were rather weak, but there was a special quality to them that gave them a much more prominent presence. And this was especially true with the giant in front of you.

“Greetings young traveler, I am Grand Elder Pybara, to my students, I am merely called Master. From what I can sense about you I can tell immediately that you have good intentions. As well as due to my astute talents, I could more or less pick up precisely on the conversation you had with fellow Nishin and Nameko. So, you don’t need to repeat yourself.” The blue Yardratian spoke, being jovial and cordial.

“That’s good to hear. In that case, will you take me in as your student, and will you as well as your people help me with my plight?” You ask, remaining cool and collected as you proceed to bow. “I’m sure someone of your talent can understand the current state of the universe. “

“Yes, with Spirit Control I can pretty much sense and perceive everything that is happening in the cosmos. The Galactic Emperor and his men have caused a real mess with his planet trading business.” Pybara muses, lamenting deeply on the mindless destruction and loss of life to make a profit.

And hopefully, get the mortal level back up to a more respectable level. Hence why I need strength, but strength alone won’t be able to fix what has been destroyed. Just like I hope to do by assisting you in your planet’s development.” You explain.

“Well aren’t you quite the ambitious one.” Pybara smiled, folding his arms behind his back. “I won’t deny and say that your quest isn’t noble and not worth pursuing. Though you must understand that depending on the person, even the noblest of intentions can lead to disastrous results. Some could use the gifts that you’re trying to share for nefarious purposes.” Pybara lectures. “Before I make my decision, I need to know precisely where you stand on this and one more front.”

“And that other front being?” You ask.

“What drives you to want to stop Frieza and his men? Is it a sense of duty and responsibility, is due to a strong sense of empathy for those suffering in his wake, or perhaps a sense of wanting vengeance? ” Pybara said, getting more serious as he looks at you sharply with his shut eyes.

I’m going to logic this answer as being a small amount of Beerus coming through from the wish. After all, a god of destruction has a desire to erase the unwanted parts of their universe.

Sensing the severity of the situation, you chose not to answer right away. Instead, you opted to give yourself a moment to reflect upon the question being asked. At the same time make sure not to take too long since you didn’t want to show any signs of uncertainty or hesitation. In the heat of battle, a moment can feel like an eternity, and it’ll take just that to change the course. Thus, while it was a delicate balancing act, knowing when to assess and think things through was a vital skill to have. One that you most certainly acquired as you broke down the inner secrets to Pybara’s question.

For someone of your stature, you didn’t need the concept of emotions spelled out to you. You know that intense emotions, be they positive or negative, can lead to incredible spikes in power. They can even be the bridge or trigger needed to tap into a previously unattainable power or skill. This was most common when one is pushed to the edge into a fight, flight, or freeze situation. However, there was more than one way to break through their self-limiting shells and achieve an awoken state. But generally, emotions as a whole served as the right stimulation to trigger a such state of being.

At the same time much like intrusive thoughts and rumination, conflicting feelings can disrupt the flow and rhythm as well as dull one’s techniques and skills. Composure was important in maintaining efficiency through the sharpness and heaviness of one’s abilities. This was all stuff that you more or less learned through your mindfulness meditation. So, for Grand Elder Pybara to ask this only meant that not only did he want to know your true intentions, but also see where your current state of mind stationed itself at. This wasn’t a simple, easy-to-answer question as you reflect upon it more.

Eventually, upon finding an answer you finally break the brief but intense silence. “You are right to show caution in how to handle the advancement of civilization as it's not as easy to gauge or reign in as it is with a single person. I won’t lie and say that my efforts won’t bring even an iota of danger or risk. I am not omnipotent nor omniscient so I don’t have an all-seeing ability. Thus, I can’t foresee a path where no one will ever try to use the gifts that I give for nefarious purposes. I can only adjust and adapt based on the current events.”

“Even so, to hold back progression and the chance to better oneself as well as improve their environment or civilization. All because of the potential dangers based on what ifs or overall risks is something I won’t tolerate. Life is full of risks and challenges. To turn away from them just because you’re afraid of adversity and the strife it brings is no excuse. There will always be evil in this universe, just like there will always be good. Science for example has always been a tool that can lead to great changes both good and evil based on the person at hand. This is no different.” You explain.

“I can’t boil it down to a single answer as many emotions motivate me.” You remark, keeping a hand close to your chest. “I am a very complex being, no different than anyone else. So my answer naturally will reflect that.”

“Oh, such as?” Pybara asks.

“Pride for my fallen people’s efforts in making me, as well as myself the ultimate lifeform. Compassion and empathy towards those suffering in the distance asking for a savor to rescue, protect, and shepherd them in these troublesome times. A sense of obligation due to the promises I made to my teacher and my boss. And…” Taking a moment to take a deep breath, your round, almond eyes soon sharpen upon displaying a more intense feeling. “Revenge.”

“Not just revenge towards the bastard who mindlessly wiped out the Tsufruians of Planet Plant. It extends to the entirety of the planet trade organization. They’re no better than the saiyans, heck I’d argue that they’re worse. The saiyans at least was a warmongering species who only started conflict just to test their strengths and satiate their lust for battle. A warrior race that’s no different than an actual beast. But those of the PTO is worst since they aren’t tempered by such primal impulses. They fully have logic and reasoning, yet they choose to ruthlessly slaughter the denizens for selfish reasons. I can’t nor will ever forgive such people who would disrespect the value of life and commit genocide just to take claim to a planet and sell it to someone else. It’s an unforgivable act that has deeply damaged this universe and I will not stand for it.” You say, showing maturity by remaining calm while balancing your passionate spirit.

Showing your respect you bow down to Pybara. "Thank you, I deeply appreciate this. That's why I won't rush my training. I will take however long it takes to meticulously master each and every skill and technique associated with Spirit Control. As well as refine my spirit to the highest it can be."

With that, you set off towards learning all that there was to Spirit Control. Quickly adorning the same garb as your fellow students through Pybara using an esoteric technique. It was capable of manifesting various forms of matter out of thin air. Far more advanced than your metallization ability, almost appearing magical despite being spiritual. Being told by Pybara that it was a fundamental technique of Spirit Control only motivates you more. If that was considered as one of the basics, then what was the full extent of what Spirit Control was capable of?

Getting stirred up with excitement, you earnestly began your training. The first step of course was establishing a balance between the body and the mind, achieving stability before reinforcing it further. To do this you have done various ascetic practices commonly found in Shugendo. Such examples were meditating underneath waterfalls or on top of burning coal, learning how to achieve perfect balance while being stationary, and intense image training among many more activities. Each one is more grueling and rigorous than the last as you came to experience.

Even someone of your boundless stamina and vitality found these activities to be far more challenging than you initially gave credit to. Undergoing this trial gave you a better understanding of the Yardratians and their ascetic customs. Painting a perfect image of them as they deeply earned your respect as time went on. Due to your biology, you could go at it without needing sleep to maintain subsistence. Although the Yardratians through spirit control had their ways of gaining sustenance, you were told the importance of taking breaks to let the body rest and accumulate its gains.

At first, the training was quite troublesome for you, not out of it is hard but being quite high-intensive on the spiritual and mental side. Sure, there were moments when they did actual High-intensity interval training and other body conditioning. But this training was more tailored towards polishing agility and mobility than outright building raw power. That’s not to say you didn’t gain anything from it in terms of building stamina. Not only did you increase your capacity but you also learned how to be more efficient in utilization and cultivation.

Over time the training would become easier as you grow more accustomed to the Yardratian methods. As the days turn to weeks, more and you feel yourself getting better in your training. Your mind and spirit continue to flourish, all the while maintaining a strong synchronization with your body. Effectively achieving both a sound mind within a sound body. Soon you find yourself able to effortlessly focus all your strength into a single point and maintain the concertation needed for the skill. Balancing on even the steepest of spikes and moving at top gear without any fear of losing balance or speed.

On average those with talent would take around a hundred and fifty days or nearly five months. For those without it would be more than double that amount. You on the other hand stood on the exceptionally gifted fence, understandable given your creation and the additional assistance by Super Shenron. Heck, you were born with the affinity as well as aptitude towards using Ki. So, for you, this was just more of the same on a more grandiose level. Thus, it took you precisely about two months to fully master the basics of Spirit Control and firmly polish your spirit.

However, the words from your mentor Whis continue to ring deep within your heart and soul. Thus, rather than jumping straight into actually learning the Yardratian's techniques and/or abilities. You instead chose to continue polishing yourself and improving on the basics. Although you succeeded in making a strong foundation, you still kept at it with gusto. You wanted to achieve the level where even the most basic of ki abilities could be mistaken for a signature or even an ultimate move. There was no telling what you could do upon perfecting the basics and routinely honing the fundamentals.

As the days turned into months and soon the half-year mark, you were currently standing on the biggest spike the Yardratians had to offer. A brilliant golden luster radiated from your body as you were once again in deep meditation. Very little if any ki was leaking out from your body, and the amount permeated around you smoothly in a perpetual swirl. Giving your form a thin outline for an aura, yet the presence around you carries the same air as Pybara’s, especially when he was using the gigantification technique. Those that around you would feel like they were in the presence of a titan.

The fundamentals were so deeply etched into your very being that it was an instinctual reflex at this point. Be it Spirit control or any other form of ki/vital force manipulation. You could go zero to a hundred percent with dangerous sharpness and precision. Someone with a handful of solid fundamentals was far more well-equipped and capable than someone with a wide range of barely touched advanced skills. Thus, while you most certainly will continue polishing up on the fundamentals, perhaps it was time to finally start learning some techniques.

Smiling at your enthusiasm, Pybara merely shakes his head before raising his arm with his palm open. “No, No I don’t think that will be necessary, or at least not to the extent that it's a top priority. Instead, I think it’s time to start teaching you, our techniques.”

“Right, so what will I be learning.” You ask.

“We’ll start with the basic entry-level technique and move from there. Don’t worry though, this is the most fundamental one in our repertoire of techniques. It’s called Instant Transmission, a form of Instantaneous Movement or Teleportation. Simply by putting your fingers against your forehead, usually the index and middle finger, followed by locking on an energy signature. You can instantaneously move from one point to another. It works best when you’re visualizing a person and finding their chi/ki, specifically their signature, and transmitting or feeling that being's location. As for the fingers, it's typically done to help with concertation, but it isn’t necessary to use the technique. Although, usually it’ll end up taking more time to do so without this aid so does keep in mind this.” Pybara explains, gently putting his fingers on his forehead to demonstrate the technique. In a blink of an eye, you saw the blue alien abruptly disappear from your sight. By the time it took for you to sense his ki, Pybara would already draw your attention as he was several meters behind you.

“A truly skilled user can control precisely how far they can teleport from their intended target, unlike most who immediately enter their sphere of influence. If I wanted to, I could teleport at least 10-20km from your current location in a fraction of a second. “Pybara remarks, slowly walking back to his previous spot.

Taking note of his execution and explanation, you begin performing the technique yourself. It was nothing fancy as you followed Pybara’s example step by step. Picturing the imagery of your master and placing two fingers on your forehead, you start to envision the process of teleporting. In mere moments your body began to lose consistency, becoming a blur as the integrity lessens. Gradually this sensation intensifies the further you were along the technique. Before you knew it, you would completely vanish without a trace.

Just as quickly as you disappeared, you immediately appeared right beside Pybara, having moved just a few meters to the left of his general position. On your first try, you managed to get the technique down swimmingly. Were these your prodigious talents found in skills like Pure Progress, or an ability akin to the Saiyan’s power to ape the skills and/or technique of another after seeing or hearing about them prior? This was known as mimicry, an ability that wasn’t Saiyan exclusive, but still a core essential of their arsenal. Truthfully you weren’t sure, for all you know it could have been a mix of these two skills.

Putting that aside, you focus your mind back on your execution of the technique. The buildup necessary before utilization of course wasn’t up to your liking but you excused yourself from it being your first time. You were confident that the more you use it, the better you would get at refining the move. Testing this theory, you went on to teleport once again. At first, it was to Pybara, changing the length between you and the giant blue Yardrat. But over time you decide to change it up by teleporting to other people such as Nishin and Nameko.

True to your hypothesis you did see yourself becoming more accustomed to using Instant Transmission. Slowly but surely learning how to do it more effectively. Of course, your progress ended up spanning several hours, ushering intervals for rest and recovery before resuming. Teleporting from place to place in rapid intervals was becoming second nature to you. As was being able to perform the technique on reflex without the need for any aid. With the technique coming into your own, it was about time you start pushing it to the limits and going past it.

Thus, you begin to teleport more rampantly without warning or hesitation. First, it was just a few hundred meters, then miles, and before long it was around various points on the planet. More and more you upped the anti as a multitude of afterimages and/or feints of internal energy start to form. Originally, they resemble nothing more than mere gelatinous constructs, but like with your performance, these constructs became more solid and gained integrity. But it was only the beginning of what you were truly capable of as you continued.

Soon you find yourself starting to teleport not just yourself but others as well. Unlike with the former, you needed the use of your fingers to guide where the intended targets ended up. First, you had to point at your target before pointing where you were sending them. Doing so without this method took even longer than the initial amount it would take to teleport oneself without the finger aid. At the same time, you could forcibly teleport them while retaining other factors like momentum and kinetic energy. Going as far as to teleport them to multiple points simultaneously while retaining precision.

But what was most peculiar was during teleportation attempts that you ultimately ended up in another spital realm. Pushing the technique to its limits soon allowed you to surpass what was normally possible for Instant Transmission. It was similar to the white void that Whis took whenever using his Warp technique, with the key difference being blue and emitting flashing lights. Deducing that this must be the mortal version of the realm only achievable by mastery of spatial and/or hyper-lightspeed movement. You ended up dubbing this dimensional space the Teleportation Zone.

From those routine trips to the Teleportation Zone, you find yourself able to utilize it as a waypoint to travel at greater efficacy and scopes than what Instant Transmission normally allowed. The method consists of merging one's energy and demolecularizing their atoms to enter and transport oneself through the Teleportation Zone, to begin with. Then reassembling in the area where the locked-on signature resides at superior speeds. Truthfully, it was more complicated than regular teleportation, but like with the original, you gradually become more accustomed to it. Even learning how to disassemble yourself into cubes and reassemble yourself at your intended destination point.

This was your first taste of spatial manipulation, but it wouldn’t be the last as you stumble onto your next application. Making Warp Portals.

Forgot to mention that your clones are akin to Perfect Cell and Granolah, the latter basically being Shadow Clones with their own energy pull cut from yours but with no loss in strength or efficiency. Though it is possible to do it the traditional Tien/Ten way with the strength cut being far less egregious than it would be normally, to an extent due to your perfected craft. So by all means, you can make yourself another to keep yourself company on your journey.

Noticing the lingering shifts in the space around you caused by your instant transmission jumping, your mind soon began racing as the thought was forming. You recall the Yardrats being ones who can manipulate both spatial and temporal aspects. And the Instant Transmission was after all a technique that dances between both boundaries. So, with that in mind, it wasn’t all that unsurprising that continuous usage would have brought forth this predicament. Upon closer inspection, an idea soon starts to form as you continue examining the spatial distortion.

Quickly as it formed however the distortion quickly disappeared as if the universe was forcibly putting itself back together. In response you went on to instill this experience into you, making sure to not forget either the sensation or its feelings. Utilizing them in tandem to recreate that previous phenomenon, you again dove deep into yourself to call forth the necessary power. Following your previous efforts led you down the right path as it slowly came into being. Before you know it, with a single hand gesture, a light-blue oval-shaped portal manifests around you.

Your eyes at first couldn’t believe what you were seeing, another spatial rift of a much higher quality. Examining it further you would see that the rift portal was displaying Yardrat. Specifically, the terrain of the planet from the other side from where you stand. Slowly you extend your hand forward, bracing yourself for the worst if this blows up in your face. Luckily the portal was stable enough that you could go into it and travel to the new destination. Which you did as you went back and forth before it eventually closed up on you. This portal-opening technique was truly something worth investing in.

At the same time, you couldn’t take too much time and diverge from your schedule. After all, you promised your teacher that you would come to them and proceed to learn the following technique. Thus, you only practiced just enough that you could call upon these warp portals whenever on command. After achieving this did you return to your mentor through the use of Instant Transmission? Keeping the technique Godspeed as a secret for the time being alongside your warp portals. You needed more time to refine those skills before you were truly confident in teaching the Yardratians these skills.

Arriving promptly, you went on to show gratitude to Pybara before proceeding with the next lesson. Chosen from a list of options, you went for the cloning technique. To you, it was beneficial to split yourself and make multiple copies of yourself. You dwell on the concept previously through your feints, but this lesson went one step beyond mere echoes of ki. Here you were learning how to sprout actual, physical duplicates to operate as fellow sentient beings. Once again you marvel at what Spirit Control could do by merely manipulating and/or altering the soul.

Picking up from the instruction, you followed Pybara’s example upon execution. Practically at the same speeds as learning Instant Transmission, you easily manage to pick up the technique. Nothing too fancy as you only made a single clone for your first attempt. It was at this point you could figure out that the technique carried with it some noticeable deficiencies. While you and your clone were at comparable levels with one another, neither one was at your normal full strength. Your energy reserves were still intact as the clone held its own, but the power halving was an issue nonetheless.

Thus, after completing your lesson you went to a secluded location to once again practice and experiment. Proceeding faster than with Instant Transmission, you manage to get the hang of the technique. Improving your proficiency with each execution as you got closer and closer to perfecting the cloning technique. At first, there was no limit to how many clones you could make, but it came with the cost of drastically weakening yourself. But over time you ended up limiting the diminished power to be around half your strength if it was a small number. With it going up to one-third when making a much larger number. At your worst it was one-fourth but it never went lower than that no matter how many clones you made.

Keeping yourself to just four, you could gradually but ultimately refine and perfect the cloning technique. When restrained by the number of clones you made, you could dive yourself without dividing your power. In addition, you start branching into different applications of the cloning technique. For instance, you made a version where only your energy was cut but your strength and competency could be retained no matter how many clones you made. But the experiences the clones received, be they good or bad would transfer onto you once they dissipate, including damage.

Another method was spawning actual doppelgangers through spirit control and body manipulation. Unlike the first two, this cloning was akin to making true offspring. You refer to the process as cellular mitosis, although asexual reproduction was also possible for you to perform the technique. Thus, they didn’t dissipate when hit once like the second, or transfer the sensation of pain and fatigue. Nor did it affect your strength or energy like the first in exchange for having the same durability/resilience as the original.
Initially, they were much smaller and more compact than the original, having lesser durability despite inheriting all your powers and abilities. Over time, you would alleviate these deficiencies like the rest and manage to make fully grown offspring in addition to perfect clones. With these clones, you could prioritize and balance your time smoothly. You were going as far even to pull off partially duplicating various parts of your body or replicating inanimate objects upon encasing them with your ki. Even the prospect of actual, genuine fission was within your grasp.

Which cloning method do you use to help with your training? This will affect how much time the others will take and the efficiency of your workout.

They're not as cost effective in terms of how many we can sustain with the same amount of ki, but I think they're QUITE cost effective in terms of how much we can get out of them. The fact that their experiences pop into our head when they pop out of existence means we can intake a vast amount of knowledge all at once, and doing so in increasing amounts can build up our mental tolerance/fortitude in the same way that pain training would. Which sounds particularly good for Spirit Control training, learning how to deal with more and more physical and mental stress without suffering too much from it!
Not to mention the sheer benefit you can get from fighting a durable copy of yourself and being able to see the flaws and advantages of your current fighting style.

Therefore, rather than actually applying the method of fission, you kept that nugget of information for a rainy day. Instead, you went on continually refining and cultivating the various cloning techniques, especially that of the Multiform. As such you splinter yourself into four individuals, each one fully inheriting all the capabilities of the original with virtually no loss in strength or energy. Upon manifestation, you assigned each of your clones a specific task to work with. Leaving you to brace yourself in dealing with the intake of knowledge, experience, and overall sensations the clones accumulated once dispersed.

One clone went on to continue your Spirit Control technique progression. This time diving into learning how to transmit your emitted energy through a tactile energy wave or barrier. Essentially encasing the intended target with the exuding energy and transfer it into the target. The basic application was to restore one’s strength and energy or to strengthen and reinforce the target. It could even be used to temporally stabilize an induvial and serve as a quick patch-up rather than actual healing. It was a highly valuable support-based skill, but despite its supplementary nature, there were ways that it could be applied in offensive and/or defensive means.

Such as learning how to infuse one’s ki/or spirit essence into inanimate matter, becoming a mere extension of oneself in the process. From there you could apply a form of telekinesis with the inanimate matter, even animating while mentally controlling its actions. Combined with being able to harden the target with the transfer ki, it was quite effective in utilizing your surroundings to your advantage. You even discovered how to create traps such as ki landmines after imbuing the matter with your energy. As well as how to make the matter explode and/or implode upon itself on command.

The second clone on the other hand continues to experiment on the spatial prowess now present within you. Specifically, the warp portal technique, an ability to momentarily manipulate reality to create a rift between space and its dimension. From designing one point to another through either eye contact or hand gestures, you were able to link the two portals together to make some wormholes for a two-way trip. Although as you continue to experiment, you could link multiple portals together to lock someone into a specific space or apply methods such as the pinball effect on your target(s).

The most obvious application of this technique was to use it to guard and/or evade an opposing attack. Either send it somewhere else at random or purposely reflect it against the sender. The use of multiple portals gave many different options to counterattack from different angles. Unsurprisingly, these portals could jump into different dimensional pockets, typically a world of strange swirling lights with large asteroid-like objects that float around. But perhaps the most impressive of your development was learning how to weaponize the fabric-rifting space itself.

From creating a flying slash of spatial properties from your fingertips to exerting a pressurized blast of spatial energy. You went on to develop this spatial rift affect more and more with each passing day. The most impressive was coating it with your energy constructions. Most commonly that of a disk of energy, fully capable of being remotely controlled through either your thoughts or hand gestures. On its own, it operated like any super vibrating, razor-sharp cutting construct. But with the spatial add-on, it was virtually able to slice through anything like your flying spatial slash.

What made the technique truly devastating is that at any point it can be maneuvered into acting like a portal. Often applying powerful suction through the use of ki to capture and forcibly transfer the intended target to another point, typically random if not set up prior. It could also redirect and/or guard against opposing attacks. Though either of these applications causes the disk to disappear soon afterward. Even with it just using the homing properties made this application of the energy disk especially devastating. Though out of all your training, getting this technique to work how you wanted was especially grueling.

As for the third and final clone, it took a similar path of spatial manipulation. However, it aimed to combine the method of instant transmission with warp portals. The main objective was trying to recreate the warping technique that Whis displayed previously. With your knowledge of both the teleportation zone and the swirling boundary zone, it wasn’t impossible for you to brute force your way into the white space associated with Whis’s technique. But rather than doing that, you opted for a gentler way through graceful technique and finesse to avoid damaging the boundary between dimensions.
