>Rules:
- Most dice rolls will be around the d100 series, but for mundane stuff or non-combative things, however, I will elect to use a d20 or d50 depending on complexity.

- Depending on your growth, the number of dice will change, so for now you'll be starting with a 3-dice roll with the best one out of the three being chosen for the result.

- Standard dice rules apply, crits are 96-100 and 1-3 for crit failures. Crit fails can be overridden by crit successes, but crit failures cannot override crit successes. A Crit fail can be challenged to a saving throw or by making a deal with the GM. But these options carried risks and/or conditions, so do keep them in mind.

-Crits can be banked and stored for later. But if a crit fail is banked, only the GM will decide when to use it. (Keep in mind the GM will try to be fair and reasonable when using crit fails)

- Modifiers will be accounted into the roll depending on the situation, typically a +10 or -10 but it will vary over time and/or the situation.

- This quest is mainly narrative based so choices and actions matter more than the results of the roll. Though they will still play a part when the situation calls for it. So, I'm not going to hold you accountable if your rolls end up screwing you over or trivialize the quest as a result.

- We operate currently on the Best of the first four systems for all rolls or Bo4 for short. Only correctly rolled dice pools will count.

- One dice roll per person per post unless four players have not yet rolled, and thirty or more minutes have passed since your last roll. (Credit to GrandDragonQM)

- Training montages/arcs will normally be off-screened unless they’re narratively important or have character-driven moments to cover. Prompts will still be made on what you strive to learn and/or improve on as well as rolling sessions. Nobody wants to sit through reading the same methods over and over and over again, especially with Dragon Ball.

- You will mostly play as the Four Warriors in Black, but there will be points where I will switch perspective to other characters such as Sanzo Hosh, Konzen Douji, or Koku (Youth) for example. This is to mainly cover other facets of the story and avoid having to shove the MC everywhere at all times, especially in places where it's not fitting for them to be there.

- This game is set in the Toriyama Universe, so while Dragon Ball is the main/primary source, I will be taking elements from other works he has done and/or be involved with such as Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger. As for the Dragon Ball universe itself, we are set in the Xenoverse Space (mix of Heroes, Xenoverse, and Online). Thus, we’ll be following the pre-Super setup for timelines (From OG to the end of GT), with this universe being numbered 0 and the actual Universe 7 following the Super continuity. There will be chances to experience the Super stuff if the desire is strong enough.

- Write-ins are encouraged and allowed, but inappropriate and OOC options will be null and voided.

“Hrm certainly did not see that coming.” Those were the first words that the four of you would hear upon your reprieve from unconsciousness. By pitch and tone alone you could tell that the voice was womanly in nature, one befitting of what would be known as a cool beauty. Thankfully there was enough sweetness and warmth to keep her from the Ice Queen archetype. Yet you could tell that the timbre carried an otherworldly if not celestial vibe.

“Didn't see that coming? Aren't you supposed to be an all-seeing arbiter among the gods, especially when it comes to matters of space and time? Notwithstanding your successor Chorona, or the Space-Time Angel Koku (derived from Rum and Coke), Lady Aeos. ”Said a second voice, one of a more soprano-like pitch for feminine cadence, compared to the Contralto tone and pitch of Aeos. She was far brasher, which was only accentuated thanks to her as bold as brass temperament.

“While that is very much true, even someone like me can't be expected to invoke the Shin Shingan/Tengan twenty-four hours, seven days a week perpetually now can you Ms. Bulma? It would be a major headache that's not worth such meticulous observation.” Aeos retorts, resting her cheeks against her right hand. Indulging in the sassy woman in all of her brazen disposition with her aloof, tranquil mindset.

“Still though. When you gave that weird glowing golden fruit on top of the ambrosia drink and other divine cuisines, you didn't mention the part that my knight in shining armor would split into four-.”Before Bulma could say anything further, she was cut off by a mere gesture from Aeos before speaking personally.

“Warriors of Light...” Aeos pause, now caressing her chin as she was lost in thought. Slowly cracking a smile as she becomes aware and focused once more. “I like the sound of that. And to be frank Ms. Bulma, I'm just as baffled as you. This has never happened before. The combination of the Ensenji and Shinseiju should've only granted various mythical yet beneficial boons, including great power and longevity. Just like it has granted you with its over one thousand years increase to your lifespan. The overflowing constant flux of life breathed into him must have resonated with the golden power bestowed upon him by Super Shenron. Or perhaps this is a case of our ultimate lifeform truly ascending into a higher being, thus leaving behind these four in his place.”

“Either way, you can tell from their swirling emanations alone that Konzen Douji still exists. Perhaps with how the Shinseiju's extracts can revive long-since dead organisms. The nectar's juices mixed with the ambrosia could both be the cause and the means to return Douji back. Of course, this is just a hypothesis and me boiling down what the Neo- Tsufurian embodied in hyperbolification fashion.” Aeos continued, still resting her chin against her palm.

“Is that all...” Bulma exclaimed as she laments on her fiance basically being splintered into four brand new individuals. Mixed feelings came flooding in around her as she thinks about the prospect. She wanted her Douji back no doubt about it. At the same time, there was something equally romantic about being the princess of her own host club party. Drool was starting to come out of her succulent lips as her eyes turned into heart symbols.

“Might want to do something about your face. It looks like their vision is coming into form.” Aeos bluntly remarks, cupping her hand against her lips to hold back a laugh.

It took the blue-haired scientist to slap herself hard against the face to snap herself out of her Fantasista Daydreaming. Bulma would let out a silent hiss, still not getting used to how strong she has become after her sacred baptism and partaking in the divine feast. As her cheek swells a bit, throbbing softly from the pain, she made a puffed-up pout before looking at Aeos. “Be quiet! I don't need you to narrate something that they don't need to see.”

“Yes, Yes.” Aeos retort, clearly taking the piss out of Bulma. Far more amused by her antics than downright off-put by how causal the sixteen-turned-seventeen-year-old was acting in her divine presence and within her domain I might add.

True to her words, your vision would finally clear up as you could now see the two people that you were able to clearly perceive through voice alone. Focusing your formally blurry eyes to the center, you were met with a comfy large throne chair fit for a goddess. The plush red cushion blended well with the gold plating that gave the well-crafted structure its glittering luster. From the furniture alone, you could tell that you were in some sort of throne room. Turning to the side you were met with a wide assortment of different luxurious furniture and apparatuses befitting someone of Aeos's status. Of course, on closer inspection, it seem that the room doubled as a command center.

Turning back to look at the two figures, your eyes focused on the one who was sitting on a throne. The first one was a woman of modest yet alluring charm. While she was short and petite, she was all but fragile or lacking in womanly appeal. Just from the first look alone, you considered the one known as Aeos to be rather a filled-out shortstack. Despite her youthful appearance, there was an air of maturity and authority coming from her casual demeanor. Her medium-length aquamarine hair and pale teal skin made her appear all the more otherworldly and sublime. Dressed in the special blue and gold garments of the Supreme Kais, albeit more feminine and casual than the standard, underneath the robes is a sleeveless turtleneck unitard. The most noticeable thing aside from her casual winning smile and pointy elven ears was her golden clock-embedded crown.

To the right side of the first Supreme Kai of Time known as Lady Aeos was another woman. Another spunky and youthful girl, although much noticeably taller with her five foot and four inches height compared to Aeos's four foot and eleven-inch stature. Compared to the dignified goddess, the one known as Bulma Brief/Enchanto, also known as was far more tomboyish despite being tender and sweet. In her casual design, she was wearing a red blazer jacket with a hood in the back, along with a matching red hat that had her name imprinted on it. From her torso she simply has a white short-sleeved crop top underneath the jacket, exposing her six-pack midriff. Around her waist to thighs were her combat-ready brown jean shorts, pink socks, and red and white sneakers.

While just as full-figured as Aeos, her choice of form-fitting attire left virtually nothing to the imagination. Accentuating her voluptuous figure as well as its sinuous frame, her attire also highlighted the slender yet muscly build that Bulma's hard work accumulated. Boosted further thanks to essentially her rebirth and the effects of the fruits still coursing through every inch of her body. In contrast to Aeos's spiky, bristle yet flowing aquamarine hair, Bulma's turquoise-colored hair was wavier with its hime-cut style. Both were silky smooth in both hair and skin and shoulder length in voluminous as well. Her creamy beige skin and round ears serve as a nice stark contrast to Aeos. But aside from that they were essentially rivals, with the similarity aside of build and figure being their blue eyes.

“For the record, should I bring Mirayo back into the room? I think she would adore the prospect of fighting four, incredibly strong individuals. It's still shocking how much power they manage to retain despite splitting into four. Wonder if that amounts to skill and finesse as well.” Aeos mused, making a soft chuckle.

Bulma closes her eyes at the thought of the blue-skinned Demonic Shinling woman who was built like a brick shithouse, making her impressive gains seem minuscule by comparison. Only to open them up soon after with a narrow glare, followed by an exasperated sigh. “Let's deal with one problem at a time. I'm still not exactly happy having two villains in the same room as us. Former or not.”

Aeos chuckles to herself before staring at the four. “I'm sure that you have a bunch of questions, as well as trying to adjust to this new state. So fill free to state what's on your mind and what precisely you want to do.”

Now to freshen everyone's memories of the gains from the feast.

Bulma Brief, Formerly 150 during her 10-month training with Makkora. Currently standing at 300 from the rebirthing baptism with full power at 6k thanks to the divine feast. Currently, she cannot utilize her full power for more than a minute at best. The current peak under the Divine Ambrosia made from the Superhuman Water is 6 million. Inaccessible atm.

Lady Aeos, due to partaking in the feast has regained her luster and is currently around the state of Super Vegito (vs Buuhan in Z). A deep jump from her initial Super Gogeta (vs Janemba in Fusion Reborn) level. With divine ki added to the mix, it's currently unknown to you. But you get a stronger vibe comparable to Lord Beerus.

Makkora, She's a Space-Time Angel Disciple. Enough said.

Mirayo. She went from an impressive 180k in base to around 35 million in base. Due to Aeos's restraints and seals, she can only muster around 10 mill at best without enhancements. So no 700 mill flaunting like she would have done to Douji's 600 mill.

Konzen Douji would be around 30 mill with the apex of course being around 600 mill.. So split between the 4 of you, it would be around 8 Mill. But for you and Mirayo, the power fluctuates so for safety measures and training purposes you both are around Bulma's level.

These might change as the story goes forward since I'm playing with wild wild west levels of fire here.

The four warriors of light currently look at one another. The group is composed of two males, one female, and an androgynous enigma, each one carrying with them the genes of various races. But unlike the original, the genes imprinted onto you came from your bonds rather than inheritance. Sure, there was a kindred connection between the four of you that binds each of you together. Even as we speak the will and emanations of the original persists inside with great intensity. At the same time, despite having similarities, there were some noteworthy differences between each of you. All the more cementing each of you in this weirdly unique statement. To be your own person while simultaneously being part of a bigger collective.

Genza the firstborn was a human-type earthling, representing the bond between Douji and Bulma. Next was Kora who was a Shinling, thus representing the bond between Douji and Aeos. Then there was Mira who was a Saiyan, a more complicated character in terms of ties but held a stronger representation towards Mirayo than Sanzo Hoshi when it comes to bonds. Of course, the naming scheme between the two in retrospect made it more obvious. And lastly, there was Naka, an even more complex character for like Mira there was more than one contender. He was a bio-android with the properties and characteristics of a Neo-Tsufurian/Machine Mutant. Therefore, by point of elimination, there was a pristine, dynamic duo of Majin Booby (Miss Buu) and Binbo (Android 21).

At the same time, there was only one other factor in the equation, The demon scientist Towa... But that was just a hypothesis and truthfully it was overthinking the subject. Even so, it didn't change the fact that the closest to the original in terms of genetics had to go to Naka. At the same time, it wasn't like the characteristics of Douji's toolkit and skill floor as well as skill ceiling didn't carry over equally. The wonders of Spirit Control made it easy to recreate the overall abilities and techniques that were granted to Douji based on biology alone. Although some had it far easier than others, obviously all signs point to Naka, for better or worse. Still, there were new prospects as well as avenues opened to the rest thanks to these new elements.

After staring at one another for a brief yet thought-provoking moment, each of the four warriors of light would turn to look back at the blue-skinned Shinling. Already having come to a consensus on as to what the four of them should do without saying a single word. It was as endearing as it was a little creepy from an outside point of view. Aeos brushed it off without batting an eye, Bulma was far more worried as her facial expression was easy to read, yet she would power through for your sake. As for Makkora, she just watched with playful curiosity, it seems the gods were far more well-adjusted and thus harder to riffle than the mortals, especially of the human type.

Choosing to go first would be Naka of all people as he steps forward from the pack. “Considering that time is of the essence, then I would think it would be in our best interest or at the very least mine to resume training. This reprieve from the daily grind while intriguing in itself, has set off the schedule far more than I would like. And since the four of us ended up coming into being as a result of this side trip, not necessarily a detour. I would like to railroad back on track.”

“Well, aren't you one for no-nonsense, I like that.” Aeos muses with a smile, still resting her hand against her chin. “I take it that with the way you speak that you are aware of what has transpired through Konzen Douji's life?”

“That's correct Madame Aeos, I can speak for the four of us that there are inklings of our progenitor's memories and feelings coursing through our every vein. And it will most likely, based on my calculations, take some time before it comes full force and we'd have the complete package. So rather than wait till then, I like to use this time to be productive and work on what our progenitor was working on before his crash.” Naka nodded, turning his eye to Bulma for a moment, relaxing a tad despite making a stoic, narrow expression. “The Raioken is my top priority but there are others I would like to tinker with personally.”

“Well said, Mr. Roboto,” Genza replied, acting noticeably more casual with his laid-back attitude. From his tone, it was easy to deduce that he was next up to the plate. “Since he got that aspect taken care of, I think I'll continue down the avenue that our good man Douji set us at and continue where he left off. And last time I'd checked, he was planning on tackling the gauntlet in the Pendulum Room. “

“Although, if I remember correctly, he was looking to spend some quality time with a certain someone.” Placing his hands behind his head and stretching his back, Genza's eyes turned towards Bulma, giving a much warm expression of compassion. Catching the scientist-turned-adventurer off guard with the radiant, dashing charm coming from her companion. Making her slowly become more bashful by the second.

“So before that I should prob-” Genza uttered before being abruptly cut off by a sudden hand to the face.

Before Genza could say anything further, the suave romantic was soon pulled by his collar by the Shinling Kora. Tugging him with enough force to casually pull him away from the spotlight as he abruptly exits stage left. Leaving the more feisty individual to step into the limelight as she was fired up. “Save it, Casanova, you'll get your chance with her after I'm done having my fill.”

“Oh my, two attractive figures currently fighting over me...what's a beautiful girl to do?” Bulma sheepishly spoke, placing her hands against her face as her cheeks were stained with a deep red blush. Earning the look of both Aeos and Makkora in the process.

“Yeah sure, let's go with that. The point is, I want to spar. Having eaten that weird fruit and drinks got me fired up, and I could do burning off the excess nourishment gained from that feast. And what better way to do that is with a good ole, bare-knuckle brawl.” Kora exclaims with a smile, casually cracking her knuckles on each hand before ultimately slamming her fist together.

“Oh? We got a lively one here. Though if you want to spar, you could always accompany Genza to the Time/Pendulum Room.” Aeos remarks, eyes lighting up a bit.

“Yeah, I could but I want to break up the repetitiveness of going through the gauntlet by experiencing real combat instead of life-like simulation. The simulacrum is nice and all but it can only do so much. And to be honest, Naka and I have a similar idea when it comes to the Raioken. But unlike him, I rather go for the more direct approach than trying to go off by memory alone. So who better to discover what I need than to go to the source herself.”

“Besides, as honored I would be in partaking in a duel with a fellow Shinling. I get the feeling that Madame Aeos's presence will be needed fulfilling that one's request.” Off the bat, Kora pointed at Genza, her facial expression gave a dull look of disappointment.

“Oi.” Genza retorted, feeling a tinge of anger forming from his temple as he was still bothered by the audacity of Kora stealing Bulma from him.

“Yes, it's as you said I need to be there with Genza to ensure that nothing goes wrong. This is a crucial point in everyone's development after all.” Aeos nods.

“Thought so, and since Makkora will probably be assisting Naka with whatever he's currently scheming, that just leaves the Princess to me.” Kora smiled.

Breaking the budding tension between Genza and Kora before it escalate any further was none other than Mira who let out a small yawn. “If everyone has chosen what they're going to be doing then that just leaves me. And if I'm being honest, I'm going to check up on Mirayo. Call it intuition or whatnot, but I feel at ease conversing with the future Demon Supreme Kai. Y'know to see how she's feeling since we basically abducted her from her timeline and now she's going to be living with us. Might end up sparing like our female friend or do something casual like a certain someone was trying to go for. Who knows, I might even learn something like our astute youngest is going for. I've never been one to be thorough when it comes to plans, makes them too rigidity for my tastes.”

Smiling at Mira's words, Aeos briefly closes his eyes. “Very well, I have no problems with you going to see Mirayo. A far easier thing to handle than leaving you to your own devices with Majin 21.”

“Don't go writing me off as being foolhardy. 21 is still cooking in that purifying capsule, so it'll be a while before it would be wise to approach her. And if I'm being honest, I much rather have strength in numbers in case the worst case scenario happened and whatever dark influence persisting in her still superimposing them.” Mira answers back with a witty retort.

“Fair enough. Now, before I forget, tell me what should we call you. I was thinking of the four cardinal beasts based on the order of your conception. But if you have names already, then they can be monikers or a secondary identity.” Aeos replied, pulling out a chart of the four mythical beasts for the warriors of light to see. “We'll just have Douji be our Golden Dragon.”

“Personally I thought Ōryūwas a Kirin more than a dragon.” Makkora chimed, breaking the long-appointed silence as she ended up getting a look from Aeos.

“If going by that set up then I Genza would be Seiryu, the Azure Dragon,” Genza answers, pointing at himself with a winning smile as he starts things off.

“Then that would make me, Kora, as Suzaku the vermilion bird.” Kora calmly remarks, keeping her hands against her hips as she was still being sassy.

“I guess by order of proximity that would make me, Mira, Byakko the White Tiger. “With a small shrug, Mira answers clearly before going back to pinpointing Mirayo's current location with energy sensing.

“That just leaves me, Naka, with Genbu the Black Tortoise.” Naka curtly responds, keeping his eyes close as he finishes things off.

“Then it's settled, now head to your respective areas and we'll begin with our chosen activities.” Aeos clapped her hands together.

“Hold on, wouldn't it be best if we keep some sort of communication with each other,” Bulma interject, finally reentering the conversation.

“That's a good point, ignoring the fact you're the only one here who can't use telepathy on her,” Aeos remarks, turning her gaze onto the turquoise-haired woman. “So it would only be fair to leave the means for communication up to you. I'm sure someone of your talents can manage such a thing easily.”

Pouting a bit from that remark, Bulma pops her chest and puts her hands against her hips. “Right, leave it to me. I've already made it my top priority to give you guys some communicator cellphones or wristbands that'll transcend even space-time. That way we can keep in touch no matter what happens.”

“We're counting on you.” Makkora remarks, watching the four warriors nod in unison to Bulma.

“Once they're handed out we'll head out. I wish you all luck in your endeavors.” Aeos spoke, signifying everyone's chosen course of action as they bow out of respect. True to word the moment Bulma busted out her capsule and gather her state-of-the-art communicators for the group to carry. It was the moment that everyone started to go their separate ways. Yet despite how far they would go, they would still be connected by the invisible string that symbolized their bonds.

The rolls were specifically tied to the character said player were controlling. But it does help that you did roll overall, I was just expecting you to do the choice first before rolling. Either way, you get a free reroll.

I will remake this volume/arc once I get my real-life shit together and overcome the problems plaguing my physical and mental health. The concept of doing a multiplayer mini-arc, even for a late April fool was too ambitious for the current player base. And it was my foolishness for underestimating that. I can only apologize for this blundering fumble.

It most certainly will. And the rolls and characters here will carry over along with some bonuses and other compensation. I'm going to be following how Vegeta Quest handles multiple characters/group protagonists rather than continuing the Multiplayer setup. This was a valuable learning lesson for me and it gives me an incentive to do better next time.

Hopefully, it doesn't take a year for my return.
