With the majority of the Seventh Universe united under the banner of the PTO, Emperor Cooler at its head, the universe has known a time of unrivaled peace. But in the shadows threats have been growing, nursing grudges against the PTO and the Saiyan race in particular. And now those threats are rising, stepping out of the shadows to openly challenge the established order. Seeking nothing short of the destruction of New Salda and the extinction of the entire Saiyan race, can you prevent this outcome? Or will the Saiyan race be reduced to nothing more than memories, their heroes nothing more than ink in the pages of the history books?

You the players will (most often) control Karn; wielder of the mighty Berserker Soul and hope of the entire PTO, not only the Saiyan race. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, only a few years into his time as a member of the PTO, he has grown in power and skill, overcoming the world-ending threats that have come for the Saiyans to become the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 758. From the massive Covenant empire to demonic incursions, mad cultists to vengeful gods, none have been strong or clever enough to put down Karn for good. But will one man's power be enough to protect everyone from the rising threats? Or will death come from those who you least expect it from? Your choices may mean the difference between survival and extinction, so choose carefully.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn, upon learning what the Ctarl-Ctarl's intentions were on New Salda from King Vegeta, convinced him that if he couldn't make this decision himself, he should ask him people. To which the king agreed, several minutes later calling all of his people to speak to them. Explaining the situation, and offering every single Saiyan the chance to speak on this, his people responded to his call. Listening to everyone and taking their opinions down before passing out, Cenoria taking care of her king while Karn took the prince to train before eating. Only for Kars to appear at the end of the meal, warning Karn of the approaching threat of the Tuffle parasite. However, we aren't joining back in with Karn, instead we join Chaya, moments before departing Dreadzone.

“You sure about this? It smells like a trap.” Tanya says skeptically as you slip your armor on, attaching your saber in its hidden sheath in your right pauldron. “Raditz doesn't contact you for years, then out of the blue sends you a message? Saying he wants to meet? Really?”
“Of course. I checked the deep-space scouters as well as using the backtrace to find where the message was sent from.” you say, reaching out and using your telekinesis to pull your massive magical blade to your hand. “Arctus confirmed where that message originally came from for me, and in that area there was a flash of Super Saiyan power before that message came in. Either it was Raditz who sent it, or someone killed him. Either way, I'm going.”
“Then at least take backup!” Tanya begs, you seeing the genuine worry in her eyes. So you step forward, walking over and hugging the woman to you. “I- Ah-Wha-?!”

“I'll be fine. If anything happens, I'm coming right back.” you tell her, holding the smaller woman close for several seconds before letting her go. “Wish me luck.”
“Damn you. Don't you dare get yourself killed.” she replies angrily, a slight blush to the blond woman's cheeks. You smirk at this, raising your right to your forehead while resting your blade on your left pauldron. She goes over to the computer, sending the message agreeing to the meetup then moving to the deep-space scouter. Stating that all he has to do is power up, and that you'll teleport to him. But as the seconds drag on into minutes, you feeling yourself growing more nervous by the second. Then, after what feels like three years Tanya speaks up. “We got a hit.”

And, suddenly, it all becomes real. It's actually happening, you're going to see Raditz again.

“His power just showed up, and... Damn. It looks like he's gotten a LOT stronger.” Tanya says, sounding a bit surprised. “Despite hiding all this time, he's clearly been training. His Super Saiyan looks to be on par with your old man's.”
“Wait, WHAT?!” you cry out, your focus breaking as you turn to face her. “What do you mean?”
“Check towards the south quadrant, you should be able to sense this level of power even from here.” she replies, you closing your eyes and focusing. And, sure enough, you feel it. The power you haven't felt for years, and true to Tanya's word his power is insane. You wonder just what sort of training he's been using all this time, how he's managed to increase his strength to this degree? “Can you feel it?”

“Y-Yeah... It's him. It is really him.” you say, feeling a tear come to your eye. But you wipe it away, shaking your head and focusing. “Well, wish me luck.”
“Good luck, Chaya.” she says, you both sharing a nod before you close your eyes. Focusing your ki sense on that surging strength, locking on to his power. And in a blink you're gone, leaving Dreadzone behind to find yourself standing in a small village, Raditz back in his base form standing beside his girlfriend as they stand outside a small home in a small village. You feel a pang of jealousy seeing her holding onto him, his arm around her shoulder as they both look to you.
“Chaya. You actually came.” Raditz says, his voice a bit different than you remember, picking up an accent you don't recognize. “Come in, please.”

Well? How do you respond to this?
>Follow him in, save your questions for now and see why he's called upon you now after all this time
>Ask him what this is all about, what's going on here and why he suddenly decided to call out to you
>Try and reach out to him telepathically, see if he's still got the mental block in place or if he's open to such communication
>Call upon Bane, have the specter in your head watch your back as you go in.

“Of course. Redis, good to see you've recovered well.” you say to him, then turn to Redis and address the woman you'd nearly killed. Twice. Her eyes narrow at you, but she doesn't say anything, the woman who has seemingly been eating well turning and ducking under his arm to walk inside the house. As she turns, you notice a dull gleam, the light catching on a ring around her left hand's ring finger. You feel a stab of pain in your guts, one of jealousy and regret, but steel yourself against it. You made your choices, foolish as they were, and these are the consequences. “Haaaah.”

“Let's discuss things inside.” he says, you noticing several dozen people looking at you, hearing faint whispers you can't decipher from them. No doubt recognizing you, and decide to make this less awkward for Raditz in his little community here and go inside. You walk through the door, Raditz closing it behind you as you look at the simple, rustic home. The building is made of wood logs, decorated with simple wooden furniture and the floor covered in thick rugs cast about. You remember the times you'd talked, how he said he wanted a little home out of the way that he'd made himself, you recognizing several features he's told you he wanted in his home when you two were together. The small stove, fireplace in the living room with a well-built, comfortable-looking padded couch. Redis goes back to the stove with three pans cookin, returning to her cooking that smells surprisingly good. It isn't quite to the same level as Dreadzone's professionals, much less Silver's godly meals, but easily one of the best meals you've ever smelled.

“I'm surprised you invited me, after how things...Ended...” you say, turning to him. As you turn, for a split-second you see a hint of some sort of furious expression, but his face becomes a mask as you turn. For a moment you think it was a trick of the light, your mind playing tricks, but you know the truth. He's still furious, still clearly hasn't FORGIVEN you, but that just makes you wonder more: WHY has he invited you here. “So, how've you two been? Life out here treating you well?”
“We have been doing well. Please, take a seat.” Raditz says, going over to the table and pulling out a chair for you. As he does your instincts suddenly ping warily, your eyes shooting over to Redis. Whose hand has a death grip on her wooden spoon, the wood faintly groaning as she crushes it in her grip. She REALLY hates you, moreso than Raditz still does. You turn back to him and give him a small nod, sitting in the chair and pulling up to the well-crafted table, Raditz sitting across from you. Saying nothing, and looking at you. His face still an unreadable mask.

“This table's really well-built, did you do it yourself?” you ask him, trying to make some small talk in the heavy silence. But he only nods, looking down at it and placing his left hand atop it, gently caressing the surface. Your mind flashes to the many nights together, Raditz caressing you with those hands. How he'd focus on making you feel good, and-
“I carved everything here myself, with my own hands.” he says, snapping you out of your memories. “Out here, I, we, made this little life for ourselves. But now we have a problem, something I can't take care of myself.”
“Of course, whatever you two need.” you reply reflexively, wanting to help them. To start to make up for all the wrongs you've done to Raditz and Redis.

“We're expecting.” he says suddenly, your heart stopping in your chest as his words punch you in the guts. You expand your ki sense, and sure enough feel three other ki in the room. You sense Raditz, Redis, and the third. A much smaller, but clearly there powerlevel radiating from Redis' belly as well. You'd thought she'd just been eating well, but no. She's been eating for two.
“I-Ah..Con.. Congratulations.” you manage to get out, choking back your tears to avoid crying before him. It hits you again, just how much of your life you missed out on with him. But you've got to be strong, this is your chance. To start making it up to the two of them. “Do you know if it's a boy or a girl yet, or-?”
“No. But, this world's medical technology is, well...” he starts, Redis interrupting with a grunt as she lifts two of the simmering pans, walking over to the table and setting them between you. Where two slabs of meat, each over two inches thick sizzle in each one of the pans. “Thank you hun.”

“Mmmmhmmm.” she replies, leaning in and kissing him passionately. As she does his eyes close, but she opens her left, glaring at you with hatred and venom. Reveling in her 'victory' over you, which you don't react to. The kiss ends after a few seconds, Redis smirking as she turns back to the cabinet, opening a drawer to withdraw more wooden utensils the knife blades made of some sort of black stone. She goes to her boy-husband, handing him a knife and fork before turning to you. And, with a snarl of rage throws both at your face! “BITCH!”

Reaching up you catch both utensils, stopping them well short of hitting you. Raditz doesn't react, blinking in surprise as the woman's face goes pale. Her entire demeanor changes, taking a step back in clear terror. While time obviously hasn't lessened her hate of you for everything you put her through, she's also still clearly terrified of your powers.

While holding the attempted murder weapons in your hands by their handles, slowly lowering them you turn your focus back to Raditz. Not speaking, but waiting to see how he handles this. He looks at you a moment, a strange, almost disappointed look in his eyes before he stands up, going over to his wife and hugging her to him as he whispers something to her. You don't try and focus your hearing on their words, giving them what privacy you can by looking away and turning your focus. After a few seconds you hear footsteps, turning to see her going back into a room further inside the home, Raditz walking back to the table and sitting down.

“I'm... Sorry, about her outburst.” he says, his tone almost annoyed. “You've had quite the effect on her. It took over a year for her to sleep through the night, to stop waking up in the middle of the night screaming in terror. It's almost impressive how badly you scarred her.”

As he talks, you feel your guilt and shame mounting. Knowing you'd ruined this woman's life, crushed her so thoroughly that even after escaping your grasp she'd still been terrified of the thought of you weighs on your mind. But, in a small, darker corner you feel part of you is satisfied knowing that, that she deserved it for what she-

“But back to what's important. She's terrified about having our child so far out here, with a people so... Technologically challenged.” he continues, using the black stone edge of his knife to effortlessly cut through the meat. “That, without proper medical support, our child could be in danger. I've told her that the people here are far inferior to us and reproduce just fine, but she's still anxious.”
“So you're wanting what, getting a healing pod brought in? A medical bay module? How would you even power it?” you ask him, looking at the simple yet sturdy craftsmanship of the knife before taking it to your own food, marveling at how effortlessly it cuts. Gliding through the meat even without normal serrations. You'll have to ask him about these knives, they're insanely sharp!
“No, nothing quite like that.” he says, setting the fork down and looking up to you, his expression changing. Suddenly you don't recognize him, your instincts warning you that something's not right, something is wrong here. “What she needs, to have this baby carefully, is for you to do one thing for us.”

“And what's that?” you ask nervously as the atmosphere shifts, the tension thickening between you in the air. It feels absolutely charged, as if a fight could break out any minute. Your body starts screaming at you that you're in danger, that this is wrong, but before you can act on these feelings Raditz speaks.

“For you to DIE!” he snarls in a tone and voice you've never heard before as he tosses the stone blade right at your chest! His throw is far faster than Redis' own, but you're already moving before you've finished processing what's happening. Leaping to your left, you narrowly avoid the blade, it whistling through the air as you hit the ground in a roll. Springing back up to your feet, Raditz' power suddenly surges, you watching in horror as he changes. His hair turns white, red lines appearing on his face and lines like cross hairs in his eyes as his golden aura surges. His might surges to hundreds of times over his normal base, powering up to what feels like his Ascended Saiyan level. “I hope you're ready to die, monkey!”

“What the hell did you do to Raditz?!” you demand, reaching back and using your telekinesis to pull your sword from the doorway where you'd left it, the weapon's weight striking your hand as you whip the blade around and point it at this creature. “And why are you pretending to be him?”
“Pretending? Oh no no, you've got it backwards. THIS is the monkey Raditz' body I've... Comandeered, for my mission.” the creature says. “And my mission is revenge! All of you filthy Saiyans will pay for what you did to my people!”
“Your people? Look, you're going to have to be more specific. The Saiyans have taken down quite a few other-” you start, trying to dig for more information. Which this creature is all too willing to provide.
“You filthy apes destroyed my people, the Tuffles. I am the last of my kind, with the soul and memories of the last Tuffle King.” the being says confidently, pointing his right hand's thumb at his face. “And thanks to another wronged party, one who ALSO lost their race to you disgusting APES, my evolution was accelerated by decades. All to exterminate your filthy race.”

“Another?” you wonder to yourself, wondering who else was involved in creating this monster. But, aloud you instead say, “So, you're the last Tuffle, huh? Guess I will get to kill one of you.”
“Oh? You really think you can?” he asks, smirking devilishly. “But can you also kill Raditz?”
“What?” you say, confused. “What do you mean?”

“Did your slow, stupid monkey brain already forget? This is Raditz' real body I have control of. Anything you do to him, he'll have to live with. Cut of my arm? That's Raditz' arm. Can you really kill your former lover, in cold blood?”

As he asks this his drawer opens itself, dozens of the super-sharp knives floating in the air over to him, their gleaming black stone blades all pointed at you as he crosses his arms with an evil smirk. Whatever this monster is, it's enjoying the dilemma it has put you in.

Well? What do you do now?

You immediately realize just how bad the situation is, and as much as you want to help Raditz, you know that as things stand now, your only options are to kill him or run. And as much as it pains you to run, you have no choice if you want to save him. So, you decide to leave, which means all you need is an opening.

“So, how long have you had Raditz' body for? And does his wife know?” you ask the being, who smirks. And almost as if on cue she walks back in, now wielding a Covenant weapon, one of those crystal launchers in either hand.
“The poor fool didn't know I had already entered her body first, when trying to flee this planet upon realizing who and what I was.” 'Raditz' says smugly. “Then when he let his guard down, I conquered him as well. He never stood a chance.”
“You filthy Saiyans are so predictable.” the 'wife' says, also speaking in his same sort of tone with even the same crooked expression on her face. Clearly somehow ALSO under this being's control. “Your minds are so feeble and unable to grasp just how ignorant you truly are!”

“And now you'll die stupid!” Raditz shouts, throwing his right hand forward and launching the obsidian blades at you. Forcing you to leap to your left to avoid them, only for Redis to unload her dual weapons. Pink crystals fly through the air towards you, you bringing your blade to bear as you swat the crystals aside. However, you don't stop them all, one crystal slashing across your right cheek and drawing blood, while a second sticks into your right thigh about halfway up your leg. But as the second one hits her weapons run empty, you immediately raising your right hand to your forehead.

“TANYA!” you shout into the void telepathically, hoping that she's not set her mental blocks back up.
“Raditz' powerlevel just spiked, what's going on?!” she thinks back but you don't answer, instead focusing on her ki through the link. You need to get out of here, now!
“Oh no you don't!” Raditz shouts lunging towards you as you connect to her ki. But right as you're about to Instant Transmission away, for just a split-second, you see something expelling itself from Raditz. It looks almost like a Majin body like Captain Ginyu's except this substance is a metallic grey instead of pink exploding out towards you. But just as it is about to reach you, the world changes. Leaving the log cabin behind, reappearing back in Dreadzone next to Tanya as you collapse.

“Chaya? What are you-What happened?” she says, her voice genuinely worried. “What's going on?!”
“Raditz....” you mutter, laying on the ground and panting for a moment to recover from the momentary terror. At the last second, you thought you were going to be possessed by that monster, to have your free will stolen the same way Raditz' was. But you escaped, just in the nick of time!

*SMACK*

“HEY!” Tanya shouts after smacking you, drawing you out of your thoughts and your attention back to her. “What happened? Tell me everything.”

And so you do, explaining everything from the little cabin to his wife being pregnant, to both being mind controlled by the last Tuffle. At the word Tuffle she stops you, to which you explain they were the other inhabitants of Planet Vegeta your people wiped out, before Freeza arrived. At this news her expression darkens, you explaining the monster's threats and what happened at the last moment.

“Hmmm. A body-controlling monster could be trouble. But how...?” she starts, then looks to your face as a look of terror overtakes her. “Chaya! We've got to get you down to medical, RIGHT NOW! If that thing got any of itself inside you, we have to kill it! NOW!”
"But it didn't touch me." you reply, a bit defensively. "I'm fine, I got away just in time."

"Are you SURE?!" Tanya replies, eyes wide with terror. "You didn't ingest anything while you were there, didn't touch anything, those spikes weren't COATED in anything? What if that spike in your leg has some of that monster on it, and it's now slithering through your blood!?"

As Tanya talks you feel your own fear rising, your worry and your doubts growing by the second. Until you can't take it anymore, springing up to your feet.

“Alright, alright, I get it. Let's go double check, just to be sure and put your mind at ease.” you say to her, still trying to look as unbothered as you felt before she started talking. “Let's go.”

Reaching out with your ki sense, you find the contestant that was nearly killed yesterday's energy, focusing on them and raising your right hand to your forehead, dropping your sword and offering your left to Tanya. Who reluctantly takes it, the tinier woman hesitating for a couple seconds before taking your hand. Then with a thought you vanish, leaving Tanya's command room and returning to medical, standing over the bed of the nearly-dead competitor. Both his arms were amputated at the elbows, and his right leg severed above the knee. But his energy, while faint, has stabilized. And as you look over his body, the various tubes and beeping machines around him, he's going to live. Vox won't let such an interesting up-and-coming contestant die so easily, after all.

“T-T-T-Tanya? Chaya? Wh-Wh-Wh-What are you two d-doing down h-h-here?” comes a small voice from behind, you both turning to see one of the medical staff. Called 'Scratch' by the others for his vocal tick, causing him to repeat like a damaged holotape, he seems about ready to faint at the sight of you both. But you're glad to see him, as you know he's one of the highest-qualified medical staff at Dreadzone.
“Heya Scratch, just who I was looking for.” you tell him, pointing down at the crystal still in your leg. “Need you to check me for any foreign bodies in my body, probably metal.”

“M-M-Metal? But the Kemuksuru, or the 'Blamite Crystals' aren't metallic. Wh-Wh-Wh-Why would there be any metal contamination?” he asks, flicking one lens down after another as he looks at your injury. Which is about chest height on the tiny doctor. “Yes, that's Kemuksuru alright. And fortunately it doesn't seem to have pierced either the Superficial femoral or Profunda femoris, from how little blood there is. But we should scan the area, just to be-”
“Scratch, listen to me VERY CAREFULLY.” you say, dropping down to a knee so your face is much closer to level with his own as you stare into his glasses-enlarged eyes. “I just fought a monster that goes inside people, puppeteering them around against their will. I need you to full body scan me, check every frequency, every test you can run to make sure that... THING, isn't inside me right now. Do you understand?”

“A body snatcher? Well why didn't you say so, come on! We're wasting time, hurry, hurry!” the little man says, his entire demeanor changing as he turns, going as fast as he can towards a nearby cluster of machines. “You said it looked metallic, yet? Let's run an MRI first, try and draw it up and out of you forcefully. If it's in there and moves, we'll see it. Then we can move on to the...”

And as the diminutive doctor rambles, firing up machines with practiced efficiency, your mind turns back to Raditz. And in that one instant, just as you'd disappeared and that creature tried to get you, you think you saw recognition in his eyes. That the man you knew is still in there. Somewhere. And as you lay on the machine bed, it retracting inside the cyllindrical tube to begin the imaging test, you can't shake the guilt as it begins eating you up. It's your fault he was all alone out there, so far from you all to get ambushed by that monster. Because of YOUR actions, driving Raditz and Redis from New Salda and causing them to go into exile to avoid you, they were easy prey for that monster. And as the machine hums to live, you swear that you'll do whatever it takes to save him. No matter the cost, you WILL free him of that monster!

-Meanwhile, back on New Salda-

“Oh no. CHAYA!” you shout, immediately worried for your daughter's safety. But as soon as you do Kars, the Supreme Kai-in-training who is currently holding time stopped holds out a hand, trying to get you to calm down and listen to him.
“She's fine, she just escaped before I came down here to warn you.” Kars says, conjuring a scrying orb in his hands. “See, take a look for yourself. These are the events that played out just before I arrived.”

You watch silently as Chaya suddenly appears outside a wooden cabin, Raditz and his woman Redis both looking at her. You watch as she enters their home, the woman attacks her, then with horror watch as Raditz transforms, claiming to be the Tuffle King reborn. Then your daughter doesn't try and fight, realizing that beating that monster means killing Raditz, opting to flee instead. But just as she vanishes, you see a Majin-like mass of metallic grey shoot out of Raditz' eyes, nose and mouth, it shaping itself into a weird face as it goes to grab her. But then she's gone, teleporting away with Instant Transmission as the slime-like being passes harmlessly through the air.

“Tch. Slippery little monkey.” the creature snarls in annoyance, shooting itself back inside Raditz. Kars ends the projection, the orb vanishing as if it never were as he looks back to you.
“That monster MUST be destroyed.” Kars tells you seriously. “This threat must not be allowed to spread. No matter the cost.”

>Agree, but say that you need to save those it has controlled, somehow

“Alright, but how do we stop something like this? A monster that grows by making more victims, the longer it roams free the more dangerous it is.” you say, cracking your knuckles. “We need to stop this thing, now.”
“Agreed. Although, you're slightly wrong in what it can do. The monster itself doesn't multiply itself, it has a central controlling intelligence. The grey goo you saw there.” he says, you raising a brow in surprise. “However, it can still exert control over those it has once inhabited, quickly amassing an army. Somehow, the bodies of those it has conquered also spread the 'infection', meaning that until and unless the monster itself is destroyed, that parasite will continue to spread. As for the creature itself, its goals are twofold. One, it seeks to acquire the strongest body it can, so it can be the strongest being in the universe. And two, the eradication of your entire race. Destroying your people for what you all did to the Tuffles.”

“But if it's only a single being controlling it all, then-?” you start Kars nodding as well.
“Indeed. Killing the host parasite will free the others, although it won't remove whatever mass-control method it used to enslave the others.” Kars tells you. “But once the monster itself is removed, finding a way to remove what's left of that mind-control mechanism will be far simpler.”
“Alright, but how do we kill it?” you ask him, meeting the Kai-in-training's eyes. “What do we have to do?”

“Simple: obliterate the host entirely.” he says, no hint of mercy in his eyes. Disintegrate it down to the atomic level, leave no hint of this monster behind.” he tells you without hesitation. “Your daughter no doubt realized this, but was unable to take the actions needed to put that monster down. Unable to kill her former lover, she chose to flee instead.”
“You're telling me that we have to kill Raditz?” you ask, your tone barely hinting a question and making it more of an accusation. “One of my own people.”
“Yes. If that creature refuses to evacuate that body, it must be destroyed as well.” he tells you, eyes lacking any hint of compassion or mercy. “If that monster is allowed to escape, then it's reign of terror will continue. Spreading its influence across the universe until all submit to him, even the divine realm itself will be at risk.”

“So, THAT'S his real motivation.” you think to yourself, now understanding his motivations. You were wondering what his angle was, he's not one to go out of his way to interfere in situations until and unless it directly benefits him. So, upon seeing that he's here for his own survival, it simultaneously relieves and worries you. If killing it were so simple, why is Kars here talking to you? Why hasn't he gone and destroyed this monster himself? Unless...

“So, if all we have to do is kill the host, why are you here?” you ask him, your question catching Kars so off guard he stumbles back a half-step. “You've still got time stopped, why haven't you killed him?”
“Well, there's three reasons for that.” he tells you, raising a finger on his right hand with each point. “One, the weakest reason: I've been forbidden to directly interfere in the goings on in the mortal realm by the Elder Kai. He says that you lot are 'an ungrateful lot of savages who'll get what's coming to you'. Two, although that monster is inside him, Raditz is still a Saiyan. I'm not going to take blatant action against your people, even with your blessing. A hundred, two, maybe even five hundred years down the line someone will take offense to what I did and seek revenge, if not done so immediately. Your daughter's powers could prove a threat, and I have no desire to truly test her in a battle to the death.”

Which are all valid points, but as he raises his third finger, you see something in his eyes you weren't expecting: fear.

“Third. That monster could, theoretically, take over MY body. Were such a being to take over my form, gaining access to all my powers and abilities, it would be damn near impossible to stop. You have no idea the things I am capable of, but with that genocidal monster at the helm? Lord Beerus himself would be forced to intervene. And the last time a universe-threatening threat appeared, fourteen solar systems were wiped out in a single day. And I'd rather live to see old age, than be reduced to less than nothing by the Destroyer.”

“I see.” you answer, one last question on the tip of your tongue. “But why? Why tell me all this?”
“Because if there is any single mortal capable of dealing with that monster, it would be you.” Kars says with a slight grin, then suddenly he's just... Gone. Everything returns to how it was. Leaving you back in the mess hall, everyone turning towards you in confusion. As to them, you would have suddenly sprung upright and moved faster than any of them could perceive.
“Karn? Hun, what's wrong?” Meloka asks you, worry in her tone. “What is it?”

Well? How do you respond?

“It was just Kars, wanting to talk about the other day.” you say, shaking your head and turning back around to everyone. “Everything's fine.”

Meloka's eyes narrow a bit, but after a second relents with a sigh. Grumbling about time manipulation being a bullshit power. Towa seems even more suspicious, surprisingly, but after another moment or two also visibly relaxes. As you sit back down, everyone else finishing their meals you reach out telepathically to your eldest daughter.

“Chaya? Is everything okay?” you think to her, reaching out mentally to her. “I saw everything, are you alright?”
“Daddy? You know?” she asks, you feeling her emotions welling up within her. Furious rage, sinking despair, a rising sense of obligation and responsibility, and a deep, deep-running sadness. “You saw?”
“Yeah, Kars showed up just after you left Raditz behind. Well done dodging that monster, if it would have gotten you...” you reply, unable to formulate a reply for such a terrifying possibility. Silence hangs between you both for several seconds, until she reaches out again. “I've in the lab now, they're scanning me for everything to make sure I didn't accidentally eat whatever that monster uses to spread. But just in case, I'm going to be staying here at Dreadzone for awhile. I'm not coming home until I save him.”

“I don't know if we can save him.” you tell her honestly. “From what Kars told me, the only way to make sure that monster is completely destroyed is to obliterate whoever it is hiding in. That even he doesn't know how to get rid of such a monster otherwise. Kiddo, I know you and Raditz have a past, but I need you to understand the severity of this monster. Kars, fucking KARS was terrified of this new Tuffle King. I could see the fear in his eyes. We may not have another choice.”
“I'm not going to let my failure be the reason he dies.” your daughter replies, you feeling her determination swelling from within her. “It was MY fault he was out there in the first place, MY fault he and his wife were captured, and MY fault their child is held captive by a monster that wants to exterminate our race. I will save them, no matter what it costs.”

Silence again hangs between you once more, you feeling your daughter's maelstrom of emotions raging within her. You can feel her guilt, it eating her alive from the inside. And you get it, after everything that happened between them, she is directly responsible for Raditz and Redis leaving New Salda be-Wait, she's pregnant?

“Hold on. You said Redis was pregnant? And that monster has her under his control?” you ask her, a new worry developing. What if that monster is... No. You can't even finish the thought yourself as you feel the same terror rising within Chaya. You both reach the same conclusion, a new worry rising in your hearts. What if that monster is creating a new body just for it?
“I... I don't know what to do Daddy.” she replies after a moment. I-I'm scared. What do we do?”
“I'm not sure. But this monster will NOT get away with this.” you reply, your own resolve hardening into iron determination. “We will make sure this last Tuffle goes extinct, along with the rest of its race.”

“Yeah. We need to stop it. Maybe... Maybe Towa will know what to do?” your daughter offers. “Maybe this thing isn't unique to our timeline?”
“I'll double check with her, for now take care of yourself.” you tell her. “If anything happens, if you find anything out on your end let me know. I'll do the same from my end. We're going to save them, kiddo. We won't let that monster control them forever.”
“Okay. Once the scans are done, I'll tell you if they find anything.” your daughter replies. “And if Towa knows what to look for, the Dreadzone med boys could use someone of her expertise.”

“I'll ask her. Just, do me one favor, okay? Don't go after that monster again on your own. When we have a plan, we'll take it down.”
“I understand. Of course. Hey, Scratch said he found something, I'll call you back.” she replies, ending the mental link. Which is worrying, but as you return your attention to the present see Okira pulling the young prince out of his seat.
“Come on, it's almost time to start training!” she says eagerly. “Come on, let's go.”
“Alright, alright. I'm coming.” he replies, getting his feet under him and matching her pace. The two leading the way outside, the rest of your kids also starting to go as well. You're one of the last ones to rise, your daughter and Kars's words echoing in your mind. As you and your family head out, going towards the exit Towa turns to go to her lab. So you stop walking, reaching out to her telepathically.

“Hey. We need to talk.” you think to her, Towa stopping immediately. She turns, a concerned expression on her face as she looks quizzically towards you. “What do you know about the Tuffles?”

And as realization dawns in her eyes, a look of apprehension and worry coming to her face, you realize that this threat could be even worse than you feared.

>But no, Saiyans weren't allowed in Tuffle cities, remember?
I was going to call them racists when you mentioned that, but then I remembered the Saiyans (at the time) were a bunch of bloodthirsty (relative) giants.
>>
>>6094345
Right? Even as a child Karn towered over the Tuffles when he got his first kill.
>>
>>6094364
Their technology must have been truly devastating if they were even able to last as long as they did given the size and power discrepancy. Which I guess is a given considering Baby is even a thing.
How advanced does your tech have to be to even create an organism like that and implant thoughts and memories into it?
>>
>>6094374
Don't forget, canon Dr. Lychee also made Hatchiyack in canon purely of Tuffle tech. Preventing souls from passing on to the afterlife if possessed with enough hatred of the Saiyans. Their tech is/was insane.
>>
>>6094377
Given Hatchiyack is a creature born from the collective hatred and souls of (mostly) vengeful Tuffles, doesn't that technically make it some kind of Divine being?
>>
>>6094382
Yes, in theory, but actually no. It's more an amalgamation, a composite being like first form Cell. Hatchiyack doesn't function off of Faith.
>>
>>6094374
I fear each and every timeline where Dr. Gero and the Tuffles meet.

“That gremlin is active already? It's far too soon.” Towa mutters, her tone stopping Meloka in her tracks. Your wife immediately turns, coming back up the ramp and stopping between you both. “He shouldn't be active for another thirty, thirty one years. Something has happened to accelerate his growth.”
“What are you talking about?” Meloka asks, Towa looking to her then to you with an unsure expression. So you turn to Meloka, reaching out to her and Towa telepathically.
“There's a Tuffle survivor on the loose. Some sort of body snatcher, and it has Raditz. As well as his wife, and their unborn child.” you tell them, both mothers' faces twisting in shock and horror. As mothers themselves they know just how horrifying this situation is, quickly followed by rising anger. You quickly explain everything Kars showed you to them, then your conversation with Chaya and how she's getting scanned to make sure no sort of mind control device was implanted in the food she ate or on the crystals she was shot with.

“No, it wouldn't be transferred that way.” Towa speaks up, projecting her thoughts explaining how, in most timelines the Reborn Tuffle King, King Kudamo, most often referred to by the title Dr. Myuu of the Machine Mutants dubbed him, Baby, leaves his 'eggs' behind in someone's brain, which allow him to remotely subjugate one whose body he's conquered. “Even your king Vegeta, in most timelines where he lives to AGE 789 and has broken free of even Babidi's mind control before is unable to resist that being's total and complete control over his body.”
“It's that powerful? Then how do we save Raditz? And stop this monster from spreading?” you ask her, this time aloud. “Kars told me that it spreads like an 'infection' from those who're already under the monster's control, that it doesn't have to go from host to host personally.”

“Yes, it did something before as well. However, such a takeover usually relies on a planet's Guardian to have been conquered.” Towa tells you, raising a finger seriously. “And then from there, it usually requires special, additional steps. Or either technological or magical devices to allow for mass distribution on a planetary scale. Such as infusing a magical substance like the Black Water Mist with his eggs, or perhaps even something more conniving like the Tuffles' unique concoction, the Destron Gas itself. Which I'm sure you remember from when you fought Hatchiyack and the living grudges that were the Ghost Warriors.”
“Damned Tuffles should have just stayed dead.” your wife mutters darkly. “Don't know when to give up.”

“So, what can we do? Is killing Raditz and obliterating him really the only way?” you ask her seriously. “Is there no other way?”
“Well, there is one more way. The same way he is defeated in most timelines.” she says, brow furrowed. “However, it does require a bit of setup.”
“How?” you ask her. “If we can save Raditz, we should at least try.”

“It requires allowing him to become stronger, via access to the Golden Oozaru form. Allowing him to grow larger inside Raditz' expanded body. Then sever his tail.” she says seriously. “As his body reverts back to his base form, if you let him stay Golden Oozaru long enough, the creature may no longer fit inside his frame and be forced to flee. But that is still risky, as it will try to inhabit the nearest body it can. The safest means is still to obliterate the host entirely, as it ensures the monster is dead.”
“I see.” you reply, taking in all this new information. As much as you want to save Raditz, you might have to settle for bringing him back to life. Looking down at your right arm, your Stand still being down from encountering the divine dragon of the Super Dragon Balls, you won't be able to wish him back yourself. Perhaps Namek's Dragon Balls are ready, and you can revive him that way?

But what do you do?
>As much as you want to save Raditz, this monster needs stopped immediately. Ask Towa to teleport you to the planet Raditz and this Tuffle King are on, and end him. Stop this monster here and now before it becomes an even greater threat

“Can you do me a favor?” you ask her, Towa raising a brow curiously. “Can you compile all the video you can of this bastard? After we're back from training, both the students and young Vegeta with the kids I want to study this monster and what it can do.”
“That shouldn't be a problem. I'll have everything ready before time for the next meal.” she says, turning and sauntering off. Adding a little extra sway into her hips, trying to draw your eyes. Which works for a moment, you then shaking your head and turning to walk down the ramp. You and Meloka head down, your kids having already taken off then fly off as well. You fly in silence, both of you not talking about the monster hanging over your heads. The two of you then land, taking up your usual spot to address your students.

“Alright, no fancy speeches today. Let's get to work.” you tell them simply, then turn to Goar. “Goar, you get a special guest today. Prince Vegeta, you're in his group.”
“Yes sir.” the young prince says, leaping down from your group to a few surprised murmurs. But most of your longer-term students aren't surprised by his appearance, after all most remember training here with Cenoria before she was queen. You lead the group on their workouts, keeping an extra eye on the young prince. But Goar, despite what a massive monster he looks, you've learned is rather good with the younger ones. He's gentle but firm with Prince Vegeta, forcing him to push himself without breaking the young man.

Other than the inclusion of the young prince, the day progresses like any other. You train your students, pushing them a bit more than usual since the prince is here. He's left ragged by the end, collapsing at the final call and simply catching his breath.

“Well done today everyone. Eat and rest well, as tomorrow we'll be going even harder.” you say, getting a near-simultaneous salute from your people. You salute back, the group beginning to disperse. You take note of those who check on the young prince before leaving as he lays flat on his back recovering. The dozens of your original students all check on him, as well as Goar and several others. He finally recovers, sitting then finally standing, shaking hands with a few who congratulate him on making it through his 'first day of real training'. To which Okira laughs, a mischievous gleam in her eye you can see from all the way atop the gravity chamber.

“Oh no, now he's going back to train with us. Aren't you, prince?” she asks him with a smile. To which you can tell he's not confident about doing so, but can't say no to her face like that.
“Yeah, I asked for this.” he says with a nervous laugh, Goar patting him on the shoulders and head simultaneously. “But I'm not going to quit.”

“That's the right attitude.” you say, dropping down and landing by him. “Alright, let's get moving.”
“RIGHT!” your kids and the prince respond, you taking to the sky once more. They follow you, you flying back home and heading to the gravity chamber. Your younger children go in as well, Tatsu and Tomi going off to continue their own private training. You take the younger children plus Caulifla and Prince Vegeta into the chamber, staring at the display and trying to decide what level to put it to.

Well? How do you want to train everyone today?
>5x New Salda's gravity, the prince is struggling and you don't want to break him
>7x, Prince Vegeta's current level of training
>10x, the level you've been training your younger four at

With only a second's consideration activate the chamber at 10x New Salda's gravity, feeling the familiar change in pressure. Your children all are ready for it, the young prince struggling a few moments. But he then gets his balance in the intense gravity, rising back up to his full height.

“This isn't seven, no. Times ten?” he asks, you nodding back to him. “Times ten...”
“Alright, let's get back into it.” you tell them, your youngest rolling his shoulders in anticipation as Maz bounces on his toes. They're far more used to this level than the prince, perhaps this will be good motivation for him. Seeing kids around his own age progressing further than himself will make him want to push his limits. “Kayle, you're with Junior. Prince, with Okira. And Maz with me, let's get started.”
“Hold on, just a moment please. Why are we splitting into twos?” the prince asks, you giving him a grin. “Because it's sparring time.” you tell him. “No energy attacks, no flight, and no limb breaking. First five minute round starts... Now.”

“HIYAAAH!” Okira shouts, immediately leaping forward and socking him with a right to his jaw, staggering him back a couple steps. But he plants his feet and launches back at your daughter, who grins a toothy grin as the two trade blows. Karn Jr immediately goes on the attack as well, pushing Kayle back. But Maz doesn't immediately attack you, taking his fighting stance. But after a moment he leaps towards you with a right, you blocking it with your left forearm. However his fist then 'slips' past your arm on the inside, spinning into a back left roundhouse at your head. Which you also block, only for Maz to fire back a lightning-quick right back kick at your face. Forcing you to raise your right hand, palm stopping his heel. You then shove him back, your son flipping backwards in the air while reorienting back on you. He goes back on the offensive immediately, your son swinging with all he's got.

As you spar your second youngest son, you also take note of the prince's prowess as well. He's a very clever fighter, using his feints and afterimages on Okira to dodge her more 'direct' approach. While she's harder to hit with her Su Ma outright, keeping up the pressure on him, his different style of fighting than what she's used too keeps her from effectively putting too much pressure on him. Making it clear that, without a doubt, in normal gravity your daughter wouldn't stand a chance. However, with the gravity slowing him down and burning through his stamina, she isn't completely outclassed.

“Well done everyone, one minute rest.” you call to them after blocking Maz's last strike and gently kicking him back, sending him into a tumbling roll that ends when he hits back-first against the gravity chamber's wall. The young prince immediately collapses, flopping onto his back and gasping heavily..
“Hey, you okay? I didn't hit you that hard.” Okira says, squatting down beside him and looking worriedly to him. “You gonna make it?”

“I'll... Be fine... Just... Exhausted.” he manages to get out, Okira laying down beside him. Kayle goes over to Maz as you stretch out, getting ready for the next round. Then once the minute rest is over, you changing who is sparring who. This time you put the prince up against your youngest, Karn Jr eager to show what he's got. Prince Vegeta rises wearily, but then you feel his strength surge. Drawing upon what he's got left to rise to the challenge. Meanwhile you take the other three on yourself, calling for another five minutes. The twins rush aggressively, you blocking their opening punches with your forearms as Okira then flies low under them, aiming a double flying kick at your chest. Which you block by raising a leg, catching both her feet on your knee.

“Nice try, but you'll have to do more than that!” you call to the trio, shoving all three back. Again you get into the spar, you focusing more on the prince's efforts than on your own defense. Which does allow more than a dozen heavy blows to land, you barely feeling them due to the difference in power. But you make sure to encourage your children each time, as they're still working hard and earning those hits. Prince Vegeta, meanwhile, is clearly struggling, your youngest far stronger than Okira thanks to being born a Super Saiyan. Which is something Prince Vegeta struggles against, until after taking a four-hit combination sending him flying back, he roars and transforms.

“HRRRAAAAAA!!” Vegeta bellows, ascending to a Super Saiyan as well. Karn Jr doesn't slow down, still charging at him and swinging a right into the prince's jaw. This time only staggering him back a step, the prince holding steady before leaning back forward. Grinning at your son, then swinging his forehead into Jr's. “My turn.”

The two continue to spar, now on much more even terms until you call time. Where Vegeta, now thoroughly exhausted, reverts back to his base form, collapsing once more down to all fours and panting in exhaustion, eyes screwed shut.

“Well done everyone, nice warm up.” you say, watching as the young prince's eyes snap back open, looking up to you in shock. “One minute break, then we're really getting into it.”

Your children get into the rest of their workout with the usual vigor, but what really surprises you is just how determined the young prince is. He reminds you of his father, stubborn to a fault and refusing to quit no matter what. Once you finally call an end to the workout, shutting down the machine he collapses. Completely spent, gasping for air and covered in sweat.

“You did great, for a first-timer.” Okira tells him happily as he struggles to just breathe, unable to do anything else. “C'mon, let's go wash off, and it'll be time to eat! Silver's gonna have something wonderful fixed again.”

But when even the promise of food doesn't get him moving, she then simply reaches down, grabbing him by his armor and lifts him, carrying him in her arms. You hear him weakly thank your daughter, whose tail flicks happily at his thanks as she carries him out. You all go shower off, freshening up before supper. Once there he stands on his own, but Okira fusses over him like a mother, cleaning the young prince herself. Which he seems a little embarrassed of, but doesn't resist. Not that he'd have the strength to do so anyways. And once you all are cleaned off and in simple training suits, you having a few his size as the cleaning machine handles the uniforms, you all head to the mess hall. However, as you approach, suddenly you sense-

-several unfamiliar powerlevels just spring up outside your home without warning.

"Maz, Kayle, make sure you five stick together, and go right to the mess hall." you tell them, turning the opposite way and heading towards the entrance ramp. "Go."
"Right!" they shout, not arguing with your serious tone and immediately guiding their younger siblings and the prince away. You take off at a run, flying down the hall and arriving at the ramp before the unfamiliar powers have a chance to move more than a yard or two from where they appeared. You slow to a walk, cautiously stepping down the ramp and into the waning daylight. Only to see several figures clad in blood-red energy looking around.

"So, who the hell are you?" you ask, all the figures immediately whirling to face you. Through the energy shielding them, they seem to be wearing either antique armor or flowing robes, each either drawing from thin air massive weapons they shouldn't have been able to conceal, or what are clearly magical staves and implements. The closest to you, carring a staff with dozens of crystals like your son's own and a headpiece with either feathers or wings on it raises his staff, Abyssal Dark gathering at the end of it. Recognizing what's about to happen, you make the only logical choice: attack. "HRRAAAAA!"

Your emerald aura blazes as you ascend directly into your Berserker God form, blasting the almost dozen dark magic-shrouded beings back. Knocking the one who tried to use Abyssal magic flat on his back, you leaping off the ramp and stomping down with both heels. One smashing in his face, splattering phantom blood and brain matter while the second crushing his ribcage, you feeling bones shatter under the force of your attack.

"SHIT!" one warrior shouts, flipping over his two-handed blade and swinging it down at you. His sword resembles your own, albeit in far worse repair. But the being is too slow, you stepping back with your right and twisting clockwise. Watching his blade pass you harmlessy, bisecting the dissolving corpse of the first one. Before you can finish him off, however, another's recovered, firing a flurry of crossbow bolts your way. Kicking off with your right foot you leap back, dodging nearly a dozen projectiles as then another wizard levels their staff, firing a powerful beam of energy.

Having lept aside far enough, your home no longer being in the line of fire, you also dodge the beam, continuing to circle the group clockwise. Only for a nearly-naked man with ephemeral wings to leap from the group, twin lances drawn back as he then lunges at you. Accelerating through the air, as if the wings make him fly faster while stabbing his weapons at you.

But this butterfly's too slow to hit you as well, and by planting your feet you catch both his spears just past their points, stopping his attack mid-air. Leaving the warrior suspended on the other ends of his weapons, not willing to release them. Which is fine by you, as you raise both arms straight up, lifting the warrior high then taking a short hop forward, towards the warrior in heavy armor with a thick-seeming shield and swinging. Your improvised attacker-club swings down, the armored warrior raising his shield to protect himself. Splattering the unarmored man against the metal, as a cloud of green mist explodes from him. Your instincts warn you to get clear, you leaping back near the shoreline as the others all move to get clear of the cloud. One of the fighters, wielding a sickle glowing with faint azure magical power, swings the blade. Firing a slashing blade of magical energy from it directly at you.

However, instead of taking the attack you simply leap over it towards him, dodging the narrow blade of magical energy. Once airborne, however, the one wearing the rather large, misshapen hat raises a pick towards you, firing a spray of azure magical darts in the area you're in. Forcing you to dash aside, dodging them instead of continuing your attack towards the sickle wielder. Only for yet another warrior, this one wielding a bow taller than themselves draws the massive bow back, firing a spear as long as you are tall at you. This is the fastest attack yet, the shooter's aim true as the massive spike nearly turns your head inside out. But at the last second you lean your head to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. You feel a sting as the edge of the arrowhead slices open your cheek and your right ear, drawing a faint spray of blood.

“Tch!” you exhale through gritted teeth, dropping back down to the ground as the one mage fires another beam of azure energy up at you. But that attack travels too slow, you easily able to drop down under it long before the beam would have reached you. “Who the hell are you bastards? And why are you here?”
“They're here for me, Dad.” Caulifla says, you looking up into the sky towards the mainland. And there, above you all is your daughter, in her base form. “I'll take care of the rest, you can go back inside.”

But what do you do?

I'm not under the delusion that Aku is somehow at fault here, but I do want him to lay down the law to any other Abyss aligned entity from outside this timeline and tell them NEW SALDA IS OFF FUCKING LIMITS.

But before you can decide, you watch as your daughter begins transforming, the divine aura blazing up around her. You and the invading phantoms watch as divine power surges, your daughter transforming.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjZb8Y1QvpE

You watch as her hair turns white, the helmet of the Darkmoon God appearing around her head as her armor vanishes. Leaving her wearing nothing more than Darkmoon energy as it begins to shape and form into the fine clothes of white and gold. First is her boots and gloves, then the skirt, then the white top ending with the mantle finally appearing around her shoulders last, Caulifla raising her right hand and summoning a magical golden scepter to her hand. And as the near-blinding azure light begins to fade, the rest of the would-be assassins all taking a step back from her in shock.

“You dare come to MY home, filthy Darkwraiths? Prepare to meet your end, and face divine retribution!” Caulifla says, smirking down at them all as she raises her staff. Waving it back and forth, dozens of orbs of her Darkmoon power burst forth, swarming around her like your mother's Warding Eyes. As she holds their attention you decide to help, dashing forward while they're distracted and firing a right handed chop at one's neck, decapitating distracted warrior. Their body drops immediately, dissolving into motes of red light as the others turn towards you. Only for Caulifla to launch her attacks, sending most of her orbs crashing down amongst them. Each ball explodes in an azure explosion, sending their bodies flying, ragdolling through the air.
“Let's finish these guys off quick, I'm hungry.” you call to your daughter, weaving past a two-handed overhand swing of a sword at long as you are tall, the massive weapon slamming into the ground where you'd been standing. Closing in you drive your right fist straight through his armored chest and spine, fist exploding out the back of his armor. Causing a spray of dark red motes of light to shoot out behind him.

Withdrawing your fist, his body collapses, dropping to the ground, only for your instincts to scream in warning. Without looking back you instead activate your Energy Body, feeling something heavy slam into your back a second later. Looking over your shoulder, you see the same swordsman from before, having tried that same front flip trick again. You smirk, grabbing the sword from over your shoulder and swinging the fighter up and over your head. Smashing him down on the ground atop another wizard type, combining both into a mess of rapidly-fading red energy. Only for your instincts to scream at you once more, warning you of real danger. DIVINE danger. You whip your head around, only to see your daughter, divine power blazing.

“Woah...” you mutter, watching as Caulifla cuts a path of destruction through the invading warriors. Around the chime in her left hand she's conjured a blade of Darkmoon magical power, swinging it through armored bodies, passing effortlessly through armor and shields alike. But that's not her only attacks, using her staff to send lances of magical energy through others who try casting on her outside of her sword's range. Looks like she's not holding back one bit, over half of the summoned fighters have already fallen. But one in bone armor, with a hood of darkness over its head rushes you, leaping into the air and swinging the broad, thick, two-handed it wields at your neck. But as it swings, the blade suddenly ignites, your instincts warning you to get clear. So, instead of catching the blade you leap back, narrowly avoiding the blazing weapon. The fighter lands in a roll, coming back up to their feet and thrusting the blade at your face. Raising your right arm you deflect the strike, knocking the blade aside. “Tch!”

As you swat the blade aside, however, the fires continue burning on your Energy Body. Immediately you end your technique, the flames burning in the air a moment before disappearing. The warrior then takes a low stance, blade held vertically as he readies another swing. But you don't give him that chance, dashing in and grabbing his hands on the sword. Using your vastly, VASTLY superior strength you begin forcing the double-edged blade back towards the wielder, driving it into their neck. Then with a violent jerk rip the weapon, as well as the user's hands free of their body, bisecting them from left shoulder to right hip. Causing their body to collapse in a pile of rapidly-fading red motes of energy, that glow quickly fading around the weapon along with its flames. The weapon, now 'recognizing' you as its new master, expands, growing to even greater lengths than your Wolf Knight Sword is when you're in this form. Seems you've found a powerful new weapon, now time to test it out.

However, as you look up, your daughter is cutting down the last quartet of fighters. With her magical blade in left, she decapitates one with a backhand, countering a lance of crystal magical energy with a lance of her own magic from her staff in her right then dashing in driving her knee up into the armored helm of a third. Sending that armored knight flying, raising her staff and firing a beam of magical energy that completely disintegrates that fighter. And ends her combination by spinning counterclockwise, backhanding the last with her blade and bisecting them at the waist. Taking down all four in less than two seconds, your daughter deactivating her blade, turning her focus to you.

“Well, that was annoying.” she says, powering back down with a sigh. “So, you ready to go eat?”

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy this episode so far? Ready to see where this arc goes and what threats are waiting in the wings? Curious why the invaders all spawned by you, and not your daughter? Do you think Raditz can be saved, or will taking Baby down require his (or someone else, if Baby captures someone stronger's) sacrifice? Do you think after a full day of scans Chaya comes back clean, or has she already been infected by the first body snatcher of the arc? Perhaps we'll find out, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

Good session GD, can't wait to play with our new toy. I'm expecting Baby to have us paranoid as shit by the end of this arc.

Your Vegeta is more and less prideful in Canon Vegeta. Less prideful in the concept of his race, but more prideful in how he and his race are. Pride in their strength and survivability.
Xeno is proud of that other Vegeta, how he has grown and nurtured his empire.

>everyone enjoy this episode so far?
It's great.

Sorry if you already talked about this and this was already answered. I'm still reading the earlier episodes from the archive to know all of the story that has led to this point.
>>6094000
>Third. That monster could, theoretically, take over MY body.
Kars is worried but I was thinking about other side of this situation.

Taking over bodies of Stand Users. What if Baby takes over King Cold? I think 「Under Pressure」 would not accept Baby as its master and obey him. Baby would be a parasite controlling Cold's body but he is not Cold himself. I think 「Under Pressure」 would not be listening to Baby's will.

Some stands have very developed consciousness like 「Divine Dragon Force」. I can't imagine Dragon Force being fine with Baby piloting Karn's body.
Perhaps 「Divine Dragon Force」 would try to fight against Baby's control? Maybe try to wake up Karn?

Perhaps taking over a body of a Stand User could provide some unexpected problems for Baby. What do you think about this?
>>
>>6096387
You remember that time the Stardust Crusaders had their stands shrink down so they could enter somebody's body to combat another foreign entity? I think about that a lot.
>>
>>6096263
Ha.
>>6096387
It's fantastic.
Depends on the Stand and the wielder. In MOST cases, the Stand is simply an extension of the user's will with no thought. Others though are independent beings, like Cheap Trick, Divine Dragon Force, GER/LER/CFR (mostly requiem Stands, looking at the list). And since they operate outside the user's will, would continue to do so. -HOWEVER-, should he conquer a Stand user and become acquainted with their powers, he could theoretically be able to conquer Stands themselves as well.
>>
>>6096396
Now I have to wonder if Baby would even be able to dominate a Karn-Imprinted Berserker Soul.
>>
>>6096396
>>6096400
These are very good questions that I don't want the answers to. Baby is stupid dangerous.
>>
>>6096400
I think because the berserker soul specifically is a distinct entity despite being all Karn at this point Baby couldn't really do anything to it. It's as much apart of Karn (and others) as it is a part of Karn. If that makes sense. Unless this Baby has bits of Hatchiyak tech built into him. But that would be stupid and unfair. Pick a lane, Baby.
>>
>>6096426
Unless dominating Karn's mine just automatically means it dominates the Berserker Soul as well given how thoroughly we've thrashed it into submission.
>>
>>6096428
Baby may be a #1Hater, but he just ain't got the sauce to heel it. Even using Karn as a diving board. The generational hatred and personal hatred Karn feels towards Tuffles would muddy it up despite the mind control. The soul remembers even if the brain forgets. Trust. It's not just about being ANGRY enough. Baby balks in the face of true danger, when his actual robolife is on the line he scurries like every other vermin.

Baby can suck my nards, we hate that Goo Boy round here. Baby hater gang wwa?
>>

Baby sucks but his design unironically goes hard.

>>6096426

>>6096428

Honestly gotta respect that they actually tried something (tm) with the forms. They saw SSJ3 getting more monke in the face and just ran with it. Also I'll say it, I like Super 17's design. Even with the goofy bangs on his forehead.
>>
>>6096650
I dunno, I still think Super 17 looks like a dweeb. GT Trunks too. He looks like someone on the frequent receiving end of swirlies.
>>
>>6096686
The only problem with Trunks' GT design is the shorts. If they were either better fitting or pants it'd be really cool. Archaeologist hours. Super 17 is an acquired taste though, for sure, I get that.
>>
>>6096705
Yeah, some straight legged slacks or even the traditional DB style bloused boots would have made his outfit a lot more tolerable. And maybe a gun on his hip.
>>
>>6096650
The art team and direction with GT was straight GAS. Even the lesser shadow dragons, in a void, have eye-catching designs. Just a shame toriyama didn't do the story too, just look at BoG.
>>6096686
He does, but that's kinda the point. 17 was never "cool", just acted what he thought cool was. Like with the gun in the future timeline, man can boom planets he don't need a gun.
>>6096705
>>6096764
A lot of GT designs were a single flaw away from greatness. Like GT itself, all it needed wS good narrative and kt wouldve been better than super.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 224 Intermission-

AGE 758, DESOLATE NEW SALDA

“Hush now, hush sweet child.” you say to the precious, swaddled bundle in your arms. Trying to quieten down your child's screams as they echo over the blackened, burned. “Shhhh, shhh, momma's here. I've got you.”

But no matter what you do, the screaming doesn't stop. It never stops. No matter what you do, the child continues to scream and scream. No matter what you do to try and comfort your baby, her screaming only gets worse. Until you can't take it any more, throwing the blanket-wrapped bundle at a nearby boulder with a primal scream of rage. The weathered, stained and fraying blanket opens, the rocks that were bundled into the shape of your daughter, you blinking in confusion. And, suddenly, it all comes back. The memories you've fought to repress come surging back into your mind, as fresh as the day it happened.

You are Meloka. Wife to Karn and mother to his children, except now they're all gone. Dead and buried, killed by the Covenant bastards who'd killed your family and destroyed your world. The once-vibrant world of oceans and forests is now a burned, reduced to a charred hellscape of fire and craters thanks to the Covenant warships' glassing cannons. Almost all life was extinguished, everyone dead but you. Leaving you to a life of sustenance by devouring the assassins and Covenant warriors who all come to try their luck. Those foolish enough to try and claim you, the last living Saiyan in this time as a trophy.

But all of these thoughts are washed away as you hear your son's crying, your focus and attention immediately snapping towards the sound to try and find him. But after a second of listening to it, you realizing you'd taken off at a sprint towards it, realize that the sound isn't one of your children's cries. But an unfamiliar child's call, one you've never heard before. That's another child, there's another living child here! And they need your help! But just as you're about to resume your sprint, a voice from your memories speaks into your mind.

“Be careful. You saw three ships landing yesterday, you know there are threats here looking for you.” your husband's voice, strong and unbreakable as ever rings from your mind and soul. And as if to emphasize this, the small bit of him you still have, the energy he gave to you in what still feels like a dream burns in your chest.
“Karn...” you mutter, placing a hand to your chest, feeling that fire burning within. You wish you could hold him one last time, to have him tell you he loves you and make all your problems go away.

But as you think this, suddenly the crying gets noticeably louder, snapping you out of your thoughts. You're going to save this child from these invaders, and make him proud. Climbing down off the clip you slip into the shadows, stalking your way towards the sounds of crying. Despite how much you want to rush directly towards the sound, you can feel that little bit of your husband you have left warning, cautioning you that something about this situation isn't right. You don't know what, but something about all of this is most definitely wrong. So, as you get closer and closer to the sound of crying, you begin picking up several ki signatures. Dozens upon dozens of ki all radiate from the area the crying is coming from, yet the baby continues crying. Are these pieces of shit not taking care of their baby?!

“Bastards!” you snarl through clenched teeth, your fury and outrage nearly causing you to abandon the subtle approach and fly full speed towards them. But right as you're about to rise up, taking in a deep breath, you freeze. Smelling something in the air that stops you right in your tracks. “No way.”

You get just a taste in the air of a familiar, vile chemical weapon the Covenant tried before and nearly killed you. It left you sick and weak, dying for days on end in agonizing pain. It would have spelled your doom, were it not for the Towa who showed up, giving you a shot of some medical concoction she'd cooked up that chemical would have taken you out. Tasting it again, you're not eager to repeat that experience, so instead of charging headfirst into the wind, start circling around instead. Slowing your advance, getting closer and closer to the crying baby's calls for help. You're not going to let this chemical weapon stop you from finding and saving that baby!

Slowly, carefully circling to avoid being seen, you slip almost all the way around the area you sense the other beings in, not going fully so your scent isn't carried their way by the wind as you sneak up the back side of a massive crater to peek over the lip. And there, down in another partial crater are three Covenant warships parked in a U formation, while the little slave alien creatures unload barrels and barrels of... Something. What you guess to be the chemical you smelled. Watching curiously they all deliver them to the same area, where two splitjaws in unfamiliar suits open them, letting the gaseous fumes escape into the air. But as you look down, looking for the source of the crying, realize that it is just a recorded cry, playing through a speaker system. These bastards really tried to lure you into running headfirst into their toxic cloud, to kill you without so much as a fight.

“But where'd the fun in that be?” you say with a smirk, clenching your fists and powering up. No longer restraining your power, your aura blows away the side of the cliff you'd been hiding behind as your fur sprouts all over your body, drawing the dozens of Covenant races' eyes towards you immediately. You can SMELL their fear, having not expected to stand and fight you.
“Kill the demon!” one of the splitjaws snarl, pointing towards you with their energy sword. To which you immediately blur forward, blinking the distance between you both and closing in. Before the one who called for your head can react you activate your Ki Claws, smirking as you swing both left and right claws in an 'X'. Carving him into dozens of pieces, which all collapse to the ground at your feet.

Dozens of others all take up the call, the other starship's turrets turning and firing on you as well. Leaping into the air you dodge the blasts, dashing back down and carving through the sword-wielding splitjaws first. None of them can stand up to you one-on-one, nor can their invisibility hide themselves from you as your ki sense shows you their positions flawlessly. You cut through their ranks with ease, until one of the smaller ones suddenly shouts out.

“For the Covenant!” he screeches, you all turning towards him. Only to see the little being, plasma grenade activated in either hand as he suddenly jumps AT the barrels of chemicals. Oh shit, they're going to-!

KABOOOOOOM

“BARRIER!” you shout, throwing your arms out to your sides and activating your energy shield as fast as you can, it hardening into an impenetrable shield a split-second before the blast hits you. The shock wave slams into your shield, launching you back and sending you tumbling uncontrollably through the sky. However, you make no efforts to right yourself, keeping all your focus on maintaining the shield. If it falters, that chemical, now spread by that blast, would no doubt kill you. So you keep tumbling through the air until finally landing, crashing down into a crater where you come to a stop. Laying on your back, staring up at the sky, you see a moment later one of the glassing cannons fire, no doubt aimed at where you'd first activated your power. So you rise to your feet, powering back down into your base form before flying off, leaving the Covenant behind. Which is unfortunate, as you haven't eaten for the past couple of days and were hoping to make a meal of them. But with their corpses tainted by that death chemical, there's no way you're eating them.

“Too bad. I could have used the meal.” you say, dropping out of the air after a few moments as you arrive at one of your little hidey hole caves you use for shelter. However, as you land, everything becomes pain!

“GYAAAAAAAAAAHH!!” you scream in pain as your body seemingly ignites, everything burning as what feels like your very soul starts getting ripped out of your body! An instant later your husband's power, still burning within you ignites like never before, emerald aura blazing up around you as you can feel it fighting against whatever force is suddenly acting upon you! You can feel your husband's rage, his anger and hate against whatever's trying to hurt you, trying with everything he's got left to protect you. And through the pain feel a tear come to your eye, even after all this time, even after you failed him, he's still trying to save you.

And then, all of a sudden, it's over. You blink a couple of times in confusion, looking down at yourself. Except, suddenly, your hands are green.

“Wha-? Huh? Dammit, did I ingest some of that poison?” you mutter, only to see someone suddenly appear before you. They appear with their back turned, lowering their right hand and creating a dark ki blade in it. Then, as they turn, realize that, somehow, it's you. “What the? Who're you?”
“I'm you. Or, rather, at least the one who will put this body to use.” the being with your body says, you trying to take your fighting stance. But without your tail, this body doesn't balance properly, you staggering a bit. And in that moment they strike, closing in in a flash. But then everything goes white, you blinking a couple times only to find yourself somewhere... Different. Immediately your body feels different, you looking down only to find you don't have a body. You don't have anything, no arms, no legs, nothing. Looking around in confusion, you find yourself in a strange place, the ground looking like yellow clouds and a pinkish/purplish sky. In the horizon you see what appears to be some sort of castle with a pair of horns on the roof, a single path leading from a sign that says 'Welcome' on it all the way to you. And on that path hover these small white wisps, hundreds of small, cloud-like things just hovering there. Slowly moving towards the castle, you wondering what's going on. From the wisps you hear talking, then over the murmured voices one calls out.

“All souls, please proceed to the check in station. No cutting in line, yes that means you! I see you!” someone calls, you looking ahead to see a rather strange sight. A small, blue-skinned man with horns on his head and a voice amplifier calls out, pointing with his free hand. Souls? Check in station? What is all this? But as you wonder what in the world is going on, someone else runs up to the blue-skinned creature, the two talking a moment before he raises his device, speaking into it once more. “Is there a 'Meloka' in the line? Any 'Meloka'? Hailing from a 'New Salda'?”

“That's me!” you call out, trying to raise your hand. Only to realize you can't so instead fly straight up. “I'm Meloka!”
“Yes, I see you. You're to come over here and accompany this one inside directly!” he orders, you flying over to the other blue-skinned demon, this one wearing orange and black striped pants. “Special orders.”
“Special orders?” you ask, flying up to the two creatures. “What's going on?”
“Best come with me, your soul has been called for by...” the one with the tiger pants says, then shakes his head. “Well, you'll see soon enough.”

With nothing better to do you follow the strange creature as the other resumes yelling at the wisps still in the line as you head directly into the castle. Through the door, only to find yourself in a rather large room. Where in the center is a massive desk, but behind it sits a being who makes even that desk look small in comparison. Wearing a purple suit and hat, the hat of course bearing the same horns as the castle, you see the red-skinned giant looks nervous. But as you look around, see why. Standing there before his desk is two figures, one only a tiny, blue-skinned Kai you don't recognize. But the other is also the single-strongest being you've ever sensed before. A blue-skinned demon, as you can tell from his ears from behind turns, his power absolutely dwarfs anyone you've ever sensed before as he turns to face you. And as you look upon the being, suddenly remember his name.

“Mechikabura.” you say, surprised by the demon. Who smiles, a surprisingly warm expression for a being known as a 'Demon God'.
“Ah, there you are. Come now, it's time to go.” he says simply.
“Go? Go where?” you ask, confused. “What in the world is going on?”
“Haven't you put it together yet? You're dead.” he tells you, you feeling down for a moment. Someone's out there with your body, doing who-knows-what with it. But that feeling is short-lived, as a sudden hope appears in your heart.
“Wait, does that mean.... I get to see my Karn again?” you ask, eyes widening. But he shakes his head, and you feel your world break.

“No. If you stay here in this time, you will never see Karn again.” the Demon God tells you. “However.”

That one word reignites your dreams, hoping against hope for the impossible.

“Were you to come with us, not only would you get to see Karn again, but also your children.” the Demon God says. “They may not be as you remember, but-”
“I'm in. Let's go, what are we waiting for?” you ask as if this were a choice. To which Mechikabura smirks, turning to King Yemma.

“I believe she has made up her mind. We'll be taking this soul.” he tells the giant, who nods nervously as the most powerful being you've met turns back to you. “But we can't have you going around like that. You need a body back.”

And without another word the Demon God levels a hand at you, firing a beam of pure power at you. It strikes you, whatever's left of you, and in a flash you get it all back. Smell, touch, taste, all of your senses return, you stretching your body out, feeling it all moving. From your eyebrows down to your tail, fingertips to toes, this is your body.

“Thank you for your time, King Yemma. We shall be on our way.” Mechikabura says, turning and opening a dark, vaguely threatening portal. “Let us depart.”
“Thank you for your cooperation.” the Kai says, slightly bowing to him. To which the red man bows back far more deeply, the woman then turning to you and offering you her hand. “Come now, Meloka. The Time Patrol awaits.”
“Time Patrol?” you wonder, this isn't the bitch of a Time Kai you remember. But you accept her hand, letting her lead you into the portal. Stepping through, you find yourself back at the place you last saw your Karn, and there, standing a few feet away from Mechikabura, it's... Him. He's far more heavily-scarred than you remember seeing, especially on his face where only one eye still works. But it's undoubtedly him.

“K-Karn? KARN!!” you shout, overwhelmed with emotions as you charge, slamming into his chest. Just as broad as you remember, he wraps his arms around you as you hold him as tight as you can, sobbing into his chest. You try and talk, to say all the things you never got the chance to, but it just comes out a blubbering mess. He simply holds you, you feeling several of what feel like raindrops on your head as he does. And you lose yourself in the sensation, clutching him for dear life, terrified that if you loosen your grip even slightly he'll be gone for good. You don't know how long passes, but not long enough, for someone else taps you on the shoulder. You look up from your husband's chest, only to see a sight you never thought you would. “Ch-Chaya? Is that... REALLY you? All grown up?”

“It's me, mom. I've missed you.” she says, and you break down into tears once more. Letting go of Karn with your right you reach out and grab her too, pulling your daughter to you as well. Squeezing them both tight, so much so that you don't think you'll ever let them go again. You're finally.... Home.

Ya know, I never would have thought to introduce Punished Meloka to Punished Karn, but they really are the perfect pairing, aren't they?
That and Future Chaya also being there is a massive bonus.
>>
>>6097837
Two broken beings finding solice in one another, a (relative) good end. And yes, she wasn't going to miss this. A chance for her real dad to be happy? No way she'd pass this up. Now, what she promised Mechikabura and/or Aeos in exchange, we'll have to wait and maybe see one day.
>>
>they found punished Karn
>reunites punished Meloka with him
I don't give a fuck if they're from different timelines, I'm very happy for them. Now, there's some concern I have for Zamasu running wild (and from the looks of it, in more than one timeline) but he's probably gonna start with the splitjaw savages so fuck them.
>>
>>6097824
Future chaya is replacing us with alternative timeline family

Punished Karn and Punished Meloka getting a new start together.

My feels.
>>
>>6097904
Well, we're not getting totally replaced. I know for a fact she still wants to live on New Salda.
>>
>>6097898
>I don't give a fuck if they're from different timelines
Neither do they.
>Zamasu
He isn't after splitjaws.
>>6097904
>replacing
Not quite. More like playing time matchmaker. Giving her families their happily ever afters and giving Aeos more timelines to erase.
>>6097911
Yes. But she wants her family to be happy. All of them.
>>
I just wonder how the little bit of Karn is treating Femasu. Giving him heartburn? Bad dreams? Episodes of soul shattering agony from time to time? Teaching him how to go big pink? I think it'd be hilarious if Zamasu thought he figured it all out then timeline jumped to ours and realized that having Karn here means someone can directly put pressure on his soul through the connection and there's fuckall he do about it since he never knew that was a thing being in a timeline with no other berserker soul people around.
>>
>>6097946
>fuck all morties
>but you splitjaws get a pass
FUCK that cucumber faggot
>>
>>6098079
It stayed with Meloka, as it latches not to the body but to the soul. It tried to fight Super Shenron's influence, but that spark wasn't enough to resist.
>spoiler
I don't want to reveal too much, but Zamasu just stopped into that timeline for the Super Dragon Balls and powerful Saiyan body.
>>6098152
To Zamasu they're just regular ningen. Who, while pious and properly respectful of the Kai, do also eventually need to be purged. Zero Mortals does mean zero, after all.

That's both a shame and a relief. I was hoping he'd kill himself if he realized there was genuine ANTIGOD in him.
>>
Oh god, we're going to be facing multiple Zamasus, and Baby. Probably at the same time too. And then likely the unholy abomination that will be Baby Zamasu.
>>
>>6098341
And don't forget there are some times where Garlic Junior won and his black water mist was able to go intergalactic. Then there's the hypothetical timeline where Dio manages to steal a truly powerful body after Jonathan's, to say nothing of Kars potentially replacing several key figures with his own biomass.
>>
>>6097946
Wonder what the implication of the berserker spark fighting back against the transfer are.
Maybe a less than perfect swap? He had to 'settle in' to the body in canon. Might be harder for him here.
Also wondering how the yandere brain chemicals are gonna affect him...
>>
>>6098221
Ha.
>>6098341
>Baby Zamasu
Now that'd be a contest. The two somehow fighting over the same body simultaneously.
>>6098344
There are a lot of timelines. However, these Zamasu are all tied to your own time cluster.
>>6098375
Nothing long-term, it just meant it took longer than expected for the body swap to happen. As for those, well. Perhaps we'll see, later in the arc. Perhaps in Act 2, when things start getting spicy?
>>
>>6098399
Zamasu would get clowned in a bodysnatching competition. He doesn't have any special defenses against it himself AFAIK. And in Baby's case in particular, since he isn't being swapped out like a Ginyu style switch, even his wish of being in a body wouldn't stop him from being overpowered and put to sleep so long as he stayed in the body. Baby legit hard counters him.
>>
>>6098402
>Baby legit hard counters him.
But does he? Or do the gods have their own special techniques to deal with such body invaders they refuse to share with the rest of their universes' mortals for fear of a counter being discovered?
>>
FUCKING ZAMASU
THAT SHIT
>>
>>6098406
Nah. The gods are all jobbers. Only one that actually made any new techniques on his own was King Kai. And they locked him in the goonshed on top of a bunch of green tards for his trouble.
>>
>>6098422
Yes, the Zamasu are gathering the bodies of strong warriors. But for what end? Surely the Zero Mortals plan only required 2?
>>6098431
The modern ones, yes. The only good one, the Grand Supreme Kai who beat the World Eater Moro, got Buu'd.
>>
>>6098647
Wonder if the new gods could use Dragonball or fancy god powers to get grand kai back / resurrect him.
>>
Just over 24 hours to go until we continue. Are you ready to discover who those invaders were?

>>6098661
At this point GSK's essence has merged wholly with Buu's body. And while GSK could be "drawn out" of Ginyu, they can't be separated anymore. Too long's passed. Although they -could- split into two separate beings, it would severely limit the effectiveness of both. But Ginyu, well. We'll see eventually. After all, is he not also a body snatcher? But who would he want revenge on?

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Chaya visited Raditz and learned the truth, encountering the Tuffle menace directly and fled back to Dreadzone, Kars told Karn how to beat the monster before fleeing the mortal realm once more. Karn reaches out to his daughter, promising her that this monster won't get away with this before asking Towa what she knows. Learning a few things of this parasite Tuffle King Kudamo, Karn asks her to study the creature, to find everything she can before resuming training the young Prince Vegeta left in his care along with his other students and then his own children. However, before supper time, several invaders appeared, Karn and Caulifla with her Darkmoon powers destroying them to a man. And as we rejoin Karn, Caulifla meets your gaze, powering back down with a sigh.

“You ready to go eat?” she asks you, as if she hadn't just murdered more than double your own number of the invading, red energy-sheathed beings. “I'm starving.”
“Hold on. Who were those...Things?” you ask your daughter, also powering back down. “And why are they here?”
“They're after the Darkmoon power. I prevented them from getting their hands on it, when they killed Lord Gwyndolin. So now they're coming after me instead.” she says wearily. “That's why I usually go to 'train' in the M'lurnian Ruins by myself, I use that place to draw them in where no one else'll get hurt. That place, swathed in Dark for so long is like a second home to them, and they're more likely to appear there. But I don't know why they all appeared up here like this today.”

“Do you think there's any way to stop them from coming through?” you ask her, your daughter shaking her head.

“Not that I know of, I do know how to draw more in but not how to keep them at bay. But I'll consult with Towa, after you guys have your talk this evening.” she says, you raising a brow at her comment. To which she gives you a small grin, answering the unspoken question. “You guys aren't subtle, I know something's going on. Just...”

And at this she hesitates, seemingly looking for the words before speaking. Meeting your eyes with steely determination.

“We're not kids anymore, Dad. Most of us. You don't have to protect us from knowing what's going on. Just don't leave us out of the loop too long, okay?” she asks, you realizing that she has indeed grown up. Your daughter, who you used to carry on your shoulder now stand near eye level with you, her shoulders near as broad as your own. She has grown up, in more ways than one.

But how do you respond?
>Let her know you're not protecting her from knowing, but that you know very little yourself and don't want to say anything until you're sure
>Tell her that she's free to join you with Towa after supper to see for herself what sort of monster you're going to be dealing with
>Say that she'll always be your little girl, no matter how big she gets but if you need her on this one, you won't hesitate to reach out

“Tell you what. You're free to join me, your mother and Towa after supper, to see for yourself what sort of monster I'm going to be dealing with. And you can see from there if you want to get involved in this one.” you tell her, Caulifla nodding to you in understanding. But before she can speak her stomach growls audibly. To which you chuckle, placing a hand on her shoulder. “But enough of that, let's go eat.”
“Right.” she replies, you both heading inside and making your way to the mess hall. Silver and his assistants once again make an absolute masterpiece of a meal, you all digging in. No one talks as you all eat, enjoying the meal to the fullest until with a sigh you finish the last bite.

“Haaaaah. Great work as always, Silver!” you call out to him, leaning back in your seat.
“Heh. Wasn't me today, General.” he says, you turning to him in confusion as he leans on the doorway. Eyes sparkling with pride in his students. “Today was all them.”
“Really? Impressive, well done to you all.” you say as the people step out, each taking a bow before you and your family. “You all have learned well.”

“Thank you, my general.” the pale, red-eyed woman says, bowing again to you. “I am pleased to hear this.”
“Yeah, you guys did great!” Maz and Kayle both shout excitedly.
“Very excellently prepared and presented.” Okira says, your daughter nodding to them. “You all have become masters of your craft.”
“I, uhh, yeah. Thanks.” the redheaded man says, one hand to the back of his head a bit embarrassed by all the praise.
“We will keep improving our talents.” the third, the taller dark skinned man says sincerely. You rise, going over to the three of them and look each in the eye in turn.

“You all will always have a home here, no matter how far you roam.” you tell them all. “No matter where you go, you are always welcome back. Now, Towa, I believe we have something to discuss?”
“Yes, right. Of course.” She says, standing up. You notice she looks a bit frazzled, as if she hasn't taken a single break since looking into the creature. She seems tired, your brows narrowing a bit. “Let's go.”
“What's going on?” Karn Jr asks you, to which you turn, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Don't worry, just a problem came up that I'm going to take care of.” you tell him, the answer satisfying your youngest. You notice Broly and Kori exchanging a glance, a bit of worry on their faces. And, after what you'd talked with Caulifla about, decide to speak with them on this as well. After all, if they leave, they'll no doubt also become targets. “Broly, Kori, would you both mind coming along as well?”

“Of course.” your son answers immediately, you, Towa, Meloka, Broly, Caulifla and Koriand'r all leaving the mess hall together.

You all walk in silence as Towa leads you all back into her lab, where you see her machines still running. And an image of a being you've never seen before on one screen, its color the same as that goo that tried to grab your daughter smirking evilly. From its face you can almost feel its malice, its hatred through the screen.

“I'll assume you want them all here for this as well, and so I'll get right into it.” Towa says. “The Tuffle parasite creature known as 'Baby', made from the dna and memories of the late Tuffle King Kudamo. It exists in two states of matter at-will, choosing to make itself either a solid or liquid at any given time. This ability gives Baby the means of entering one's body to begin the Possession process, in which he completely takes over the host's bodily functions. From action to thought, the Tuffle Parasite will essentially become a part of the host.”

At this she chances the screen, showing a much younger Trunks of the Time Patrol. Watching as the slime-like body of the creature enters him. Only for the boy to transform into a Super Saiyan, blasting the pint-sized version of the parasite out of him. And, upon seeing this, your wife speaks up.

“Hold on. If the power of a Super Saiyan is enough to repel the creature, how did it take over Raditz?” she asks, you seeing Broly, Kori, and Cauli all turning to her in concern. Having not known the details yet, but seeing the sh ock and horror on their faces.
“Simple. This version you saw here was when it was only partially-born, in its infancy of power.” she replies, changing the screen again. This time showing a much older King Vegeta IV, having lost his tail and dressed in the Time Patrol's clothes, but the parasite takes him over as well. And despite the king's power, the monster fully controls him in a moment. But as he laughts, having gained control of this body. The screen then changes again, to when Trunks confronts King Vegeta. Showing his infection, Trunks then clutching his head before somehow being possessed, their facial expressions matching.

“Wait. Trunks repelled it, but the creature didn't enter him again. How did it do that?” Caulifla asks, your daughter's tone disturbed. “Can it break into your mind telepathically?”
“No no, nothing quite so direct. No, the reason it was able to regain control of him was because of the earlier possession.” Towa says, pulling up a diagram of what seems to be a person's head. “Once Baby has entered a host, it lays eggs within them. Which will hatch later, latching onto the host's brain like so. And then, once within range of the original parasite they can be 'activated', putting a victim who'd thought they had escaped back under the parasite's control. Rather ingenious, if I say so myself.”

“So, how do we stop it?” you ask her. “If it's a machine, then surely it can be shut down?”
“No, nothing so simple exists. Baby is, admittedly, more complex than a bio android like Mira. Being entirely machine, yet somehow infused with a soul.” she says, shaking her head. “As for stopping it, you cannot let it inside you. Should that parasite enter your body, it is only a matter of time until you become its slave. One way or another.”
“Then how do we remove the parasite?” Koriand'r asks, the woman having been quietly listening up to this point. “Surely they can be removed?”

“Yes, while it is possible, such a procedure is dangerous. Even I would only give their removal without injury to the host a 97.46% success rate.” she says, which is... Oddly specific. “No, the safest means of removal is killing Baby, along with whichever host body it is currently hiding in. As long as the main parasite is killed, the others will deactivate once the signal is cut, freeing the hosts from the mind control. But none of that can happen while Baby lives. This monster must be stopped as soon as possible. However...”
“However?” you ask, worried what ELSE could be a problem.
“However, I don't know why, but I tried looking through the past to see who or what influenced the Baby of this timeline to have its growth accelerated. To be active and hunting your kind thirty one years early means someone or something had to have influenced its development. But the laboratory on Planet M-2 where Baby was made has somehow been shielded from temporal investigation. I cannot peer into its creation in this time.”

Well? What now?

"Then that means we need to get in there and look around. Towa, could you teleport yourself, me, and Meloka there?" you ask her, the demon princess nodding. You nod back, turning to your children. "Broly, Cauli, I need you to look after your siblings for us while we go check this out. If it's important enough to shield from Towa's gaze, we need to find out why. You know what we're up against now, can I leave this to you?”
“Of course. We'll handle things here until you get back.” your eldest says seriously, without hesitation. But you can tell Cauli's still got some doubts, you turning fully to her.

“I don't think you should go. This is a trap.” she says, a bit hesitantly. To which you laugh, placing your hand on her shoulder to try and reassure her.
“Of course it's a trap. The only difference is, we know it's a trap before going in.” you tell her confidently. “And with Towa with us, if for a moment things starts to turn against us and we're in danger, we'll leave. But if this monster has other abilities than those we saw today, we need to know. There could even be a certain someone behind this, still trying to take us all out even after getting deposed.”
“Hold on, you mean...?” Towa asks, jaw dropping in realization. Seems she hadn't considered the same possibility you had, that this was a trap by Chronoa to try and take you all down. Accelerating the time on a monster to send it at you decades before Towa would be ready seems like something she'd try.

“I won't let anyone from any time hurt our family.” Caulifla tells you seriously, ascending into her Darkmoon Goddess form with a flash. “I promise.”
“Good. Shouldn't take too long, quick in and out.” you tell her as Towa goes to one of her desks, opening drawers as she searches frantically for something. And after a few seconds finds it, drawing out a simple cloth sack. Holding it in her left, she then takes up her spear Godsend, then in a flash ascends as well. Taking on her Demon God form, looking ready for war.
“If we're going to do this, let's go.” Towa says, looking deadly serious. “Are you both ready?”

“Ready.” you say, nodding to her and walking over.
“Let's go.” your wife replies, going over to her as well. Towa then taps her staff on the ground, her demonic magic engulfing the three of you. And with a flash, everything changes. Where you'd been standing inside her lab, you now find yourselves instead on a strange world. Everything is metal, the buildings, ground, everything. Even the people, who're all small, round machines. Several of which all turn towards you all.

“Saiyans detected!” come the calls from dozens of them, their chest compartments opening to reveal several different types of weapons. “Exterminating.”
“Shit, move!” you shout, leaping into the air as you gather ki into both hands. Towa simply blinks away, reappearing outside the circle as your wife takes a more direct approach. Swinging her right hand out, ki bursts forth. But not as a solid blade, instead her energy is far more fluid, weaving it through the air and cutting more than a dozen of the machines to shreds. Sparking and spitting oil and other fluids the ones she hit drop, you following up with a pair of quick Scattershots, obliterating the rest in a flash. Leaving the metal planet's surface pockmarked by craters. “Well, that was easy.”

“We need to move. No doubt the whole planet now knows where we are.” she replies, her tone irritated. “Their soldiers will be here any minute.”
“Saiyan detected. Sigma Force, prepare to destroy!” another machine voice calls out, you turning and watching as several differently designed robots drop from the air, landing near you all. “Your kind will be exterminated, by the orders of the great King Kudamo!”

But how do you handle this?
>Tell Towa that you and Meloka will make a distraction here, to draw their forces so she can sneak in undetected before powering up
>Ignore these weaker robots, have Towa lead you directly to this lab as soon as possible. You want to get in and out, and not bogged down fighting these mindless machines

“Mel, go with Towa. I'll make enough noise here, so you two should be able to sneak in.” you tell her, clenching your fists. Then with a roar ascend into your first Berserker form. Emerald aura explodes from your body as your muscles bulks up, you growing several feet taller as well. “HRRAAAA!”
“Energy surge detected! Sigma Force, combine!” the red robot shouts, you watching as the group suddenly begin transforming and combining. You watch as the machines combine to form one single being nearly as tall as you, the robot clenching and unclenching its fist. Combat mode, engaged.”

“That's right, come and ge-” you start, only for the machine to suddenly blur towards you. It's faster than expected, you barely raising your arms up in time to block its opening strike. However, despite the machine's speed, it is vastly lacking in power. You barely feel the machine's strike, it following up with a rapid string of punches. You lower your arms, the robot flying back away from you. “Is that it?”
“Danger, danger.” one robot voice says.
“Output beyond known readings!” another says, all the different machines all apparently still functioning separately as well as together. You then raise your right hand towards it, firing a beam of energy at the machine. “Disenga-!”

KABOOM

Your beam slams into the combined robot's chest, and with an explosion tear it apart. Ripping it back into the three machines that made it up, all of them dropping to the ground in a smoking heap.

“So, a Saiyan. Here of all places. I wonder what brings one of your kind here, monkey.” another unfamiliar voice says, you turning to see another machine-looking being. Their body is a bluish grey, with the same crosshair-like lines on his eyes as he stares at you. “But your kind must be exterminated!”
“You really think you can beat me? Bring it on!” you reply, retaking your fighting stance. The being immediately dashes at you, swinging with a heavy left. But you bring your arms up, once more blocking the strike. This one's far stronger, easily dozens of times more powerful as the one you'd just faced as his hit actually knocks you back a bit. His strength is easily on par with Captain Ginyu's own, causing you to slide back across the slick metal ground. “Heh, now THAT's more like it!”
“All Saiyans must die!” he snarls, swinging again this time with his right. But you're ready, ducking the right and sliding under it, rising back up outside his swing as you fire off a left cross of your own. Your fist lands true, crashing into the man's jaw and knocking him staggering back. He stumbles for a second before tripping, falling to the ground. But he doesn't stay down long, landing into a roll that gets his feet under him before blasting up off the ground right back at you.

The machine warrior goes back on the offensive, you carefully keeping your guard up as it attacks. Every strike you make sure to block or dodge, watching it for any hint of the liquid metal-like being of the Tuffle parasite. If there was one, there could be more. But as you fight, countering the metal man's attacks, each of your blows deals serious damage, carving off its flesh with each narrow dodge. Until, ducking an overhand left you twist, driving off your back foot into a right punch straight to the guts. Causing the metal man to stagger back, clutching at his guts in pain.

“Why you-!” he snarls, but you're done playing around. Going on the attack you unleash a barrage of powerful strikes, more than a dozen unanswered heavy blows until you end your combination with a pwoerful uppercut, sending the metal man flying into the sky. Tumbling head over heels for several seconds before crashing down to the ground, landing back in the pile of his allies' parts. “Guh!”
“It's over.” you say, leveling your right hand at the downed machine as you gather your ki to finish it. But seems this metal man's not done, unleashing a terrible roar.
“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!” it bellows, you feeling its energy suddenly spiking.

“Now what?” you wonder as it roars, kicking up a tornado around itself as it rises into the air. You leap back, not sure what it's doing but not wanting to be caught off guard. As it roars the machine man rises, bringing the parts of the other machines you'd smashed apart swirling around it. And as you watch, it begins drawing those pieces to itself. The metal parts connecting to him, merging with him as you feel that being's power surging higher. Just what in the world IS this thing?
“HAAAAAAAAA!!” it roars, one last defiant bellow before the tornado dies down, revealing the warrior's new form.

“With the Sigma Force's power added to my own, I, General Rilldo, have become Hyper-Meta Rilldo! The one who will destroy you!” the being says, its power blazing. And, to your surprise his strength is around the same level as your Berserker form's own might. He now bears the same colorations as those other robots as well, his right fist replaced with a powerful spinning drill and wings coming out of his back. “Prepare to face your end, Saiyan!”
“My end? If that's all you've got, you're not even gonna be a challenge.” you reply, retaking your fighting stance as this newly rebuilt fighter prepares his attack.

As the metal warrior charges back in, once more far faster than before just like the machines whose parts he took, the machine's speed still surprises you. But even with this boost, he's still too slow to beat you. As he closes in, swinging that drill at your face, you twist clockwise around his attack with the Su Ma's movements. Easily evading the blow, only for the robot man to spin, swinging his left backfist at your head. Which you also evade by flipping back, kicking up with your right. Your boot's toes smash into the metal man's now-masked chin, shattering it and snapping his head backwards.

“Kuuah!” he shouts, flipping backward before reorienting on you, dashing back down at you. Once more swinging his drill first, this time not thrusting it at you but swinging it down in an overhead strike. Which you dodge with a counterclockwise spin, dashing in and slamming your left elbow into the machine man's now-exposed face. Feeling something crack beneath your elbow, snapping his head back again. “Gyaah!”

“You can't beat me.” you reply, flipping over his head into a right back kick to the back of his neck, snapping his head back forward. Sending his entire body tumbling, crashing to the ground. But as the metal man rises back to his feet, a bit slower than before as he turns. Then with a smirk fires a beam of green energy from his mouth. Your instincts warn you that this is trouble, twisting clockwise and backing away, dodging the attack. He continues to follow you with that blast, keeping you dodging the beam back and forth as you dodge the attack. Weaving in and out around it, closing in. Despite his best efforts he can't hit you, flipping over around his head and driving your knee straight down atop the metal man's head. “HAA!”

“Guuaaaah!?” he cries, ending the attack as your blow staggers him. You then go back on the attack, flipping and spinning around to drive your right elbow into the base of his neck. Spinning around him with the momentum of your attack you go into a right uppercut to the guts. Lifting the monster off his feet and sending him more than a dozen feet into the air before crashing down, landing in a heap. You drop back to the ground, looking at the downed machine. But he isn't done, pushing his damaged body back up to his feet. “Tch! Ghh-kyuh. Haaah.”
“You can't beat me.” you tell him, retaking your fighting stance. “Why don't you just give up?”

“I am General Rilldo. Defender of Planet M-2. And I will not surrender.” he says, tearing off the broken chunk of armor on his shoulder with his left hand before leveling it at you. Bright green bolts of lightning crackle around his hand, only for him to swing it wide, pointing his hand at a lump of metal rising out of the ground. Wires and cables suddenly shoot out of the ground, latching themselves to his arm, crawling across his body and piercing into his skin. Instantly repairing all the damage he'd taken, reverting him back to full power.
“Tch!” you say through clenched teeth, drawing your right arm back and gathering your ki, readying an Energy Javelin to take him down in one shot. But as you do, you see something different. The cables begin merging themselves with his body, their and his texture changing. You watch in surprise as his entire body begins to take on a more crystalline appearance, his entire form obscured behind his metal coating. “You really think you can armor through this?”

But then, just as you're about to fire, you see his body change once more. The hard, crystalline edges of his body smooth out, this 'Rilldo' being transforming once more. This time his appearance is somewhat like your own, muscular and with broad shoulders, but his power feels somehow... Familiar. Like you've sensed something like it before, somewhere. But that's for later, you snarling and throwing your lance of power at his chest. However, just as your attack is about to hit him, his chest simply opens. Just like fighting a Majin, his body moves the same, almost like he's made of liquid himself. Just like that parasite!

“Hahahaha, did you really think an attack like that would work on me?” he asks, the being now seemingly far more confident as its red eyes glare at you. Which you now notice he's missing the red crosshair-like lines that were in his eyes before. “I'll admit, you're the first warrior to push me so far. But there's no way you can defeat me now.”
“Oh yeah? And why's that?” you ask, when suddenly your instincts warn you that you're in danger. Without looking back you leap into the air, only to see the ground itself reaching up at you! The metal ground itself warping into hands as it tries to grab at you. “What the hell?”

“Haaaaaa!!” Rilldo shouts, closing in himself and swinging at your head with a massive fist. But your instincts, still on point, dodge him as well. Twisting past him and his outstretched right clockwise, firing a left jab into his jaw. Knocking the metal man back, but your blow doesn't send him more than a yard back. Your fist left an imprint in his jaw, but as he turns his glare back on you, his jaw reforms. Undoing any and all seeming damage from your strike. “It is futile. You cannot beat me.”
“That's some trick.” you reply, retaking your fighting stance in the air. “But a simple trick like that won't beat me.”

“You cannot stop the return of the Tuffle Empire, Saiyan. You and your pathetic race will be erased!” this new Rilldo roars, pale blue aura blazing. But as his power flares, suddenly, you understand where you've felt it before: YOU! Somehow, this being is like you, the Champion of this world. His might is the might of this world itself, the strength of this entire metal planet. And, as you feel his power now, he's easily stronger than your basic Berserker power. “Your time is over!”
“Not if I have anything to say about it!” you reply, blazing your aura up around you.

So not only can Tuffle technology trap souls and create artificial ones, it can also produce planetoids that are capable of designating Champions.

But with the power gap, you know he's far stronger like this. And with perfect awareness of the world that the Champion power gives, you need to keep his focus on you. So, with that in mind you dash straight up into the air, throwing your arms out to the sides and channeling your ki.

“If you're so strong, so immortal, let's see how you handle THIS!” you roar, pouring more and more energy into the twin orbs of ki. Each rapidly grows to the size of your own body, then even larger as you pour more and more energy into them.
“Huhahahahaa, you really think that will be enough to stop me?” the metal warrior asks, crossing his arms with a smirk. “Go ahead, struggle all you want. But you can't stop me, ape.”
“Oh yeah? Then take THIS!” you roar, throwing both arms up. Swinging both balls of energy into each other, the two ki repelling each other momentarily. But then they begin merging, their power combining and growing exponentially. The twin orbs then expand as they combine by more than a magnitude, forming a massive orb of destructive power. “EVENT HORIZON!!”

“What?!” he exclaims, throwing his own hands up. Causing the ground to move once more, making two massive arms shoot out of the ground. The two giant hands grab onto your attack, trying to slow it down. You feel the twin massive hands begin disintegrating against your attack as it slows your orb down, watching as more and more hands shoot up out of the ground to try and catch your attack. With each hand it grows from the ground your attack slows down, you fearing this monster might actually stop your attack. So, you reach out telepathically to Towa and Meloka.

“I hope you've found what you're looking for.” you tell them, sending a telepathic vision of what you're seeing. “I might have to go even bigger to stop this guy.”
“Almost done, give me thirty, thirty seven seconds.” Towa replies, ending her part of the link.
“Is he really that powerful?” your wife asks, you seeing flashes of her blasting and slashing apart more of those Sigma Force robots, using her Warding Eyes to keep anyone from getting close to Towa as she's typing on a machine. “Wait, why does his power feel like yours?”
“He's a Champion of this world, like I am back home. It's boosting his strength!” you reply, releasing a wordless shout as you Ascend, shoving the blast down with more force. Causing Rilldo to summon even more arms from the ground, trying to stop your attack's renewed power. “We have to stop this thing here and now!”

But as you think this, suddenly your instincts scream at you in warning. Glancing over your shoulder you see TWO Rilldo trying to sneak up behind you, forcing you to turn your focus from your attack. Twisting counterclockwise you spin, decapitating the first with a backhanded left chop, then drive your right fist through the face of the second. Only for their liquid-like bodies to start trying to cling to you, forcing you to take drastic measures.

“HRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, ascending to your Berserker God form. Blasting the liquid-like metal off of you, you turning your attention immediately back to your attack. Which the 'real' Rilldo down below has begun to force back, moving it away from his planet and back towards you. “Oh no you don't! HAAAAAAAA!!”

With another roar you put the full weight of your strongest form's power behind your push, smashing through dozens of arms and smashing the orb directly into the planet's surface. Only for your instincts to warn you once more, you dashing straight into the air to dodge that same strange green energy fired from a half-dozen Rilldo heads hovering around you simultaneously. The reformed remains of the two you'd blasted apart, who all continue trying to blast you with that specific attack. You don't know what it'll do to you, but what you do know is you don't want to find out.

“HAAAAA!” you shout, firing an Explosive Wave. Obliterating the blasts, as well as the heads firing them. But as you do, notice something's... Off. As your blast bursts from your body, parts of it begin turning to metal, all the parts that were in direct contact with the blast. This... This monster can turn things, even raw energy into metal?! This monster is far too dangerous for you to let it live, you have to kill it here and now!
“Done, do it.” Towa thinks to you. To which you smirk, blazing your power as you throw your arms wide. Immediately you pour the same amount of power from the first Event Horizon together into your second, follow-up blast, raising your arms and merging the two blasts. Creating a second Event Horizon as Rilldo down below starts forcing your attack back.

“Time to get clear!” you telepathically shout to Towa and Meloka, throwing the massive second orb down. Rilldo manages to throw your first orb back into the air, the two titanic attacks slamming into each other. Both attacks stop, grinding against each other. As they do, the very air itself around them seemingly begins to crack, you looking on in surprise. But then Towa and Meloka both appear beside you, your wife's hand on her arm, her other holding a severed machine being's head.

“Let's go.” Towa says, you nodding and reaching out to her. And then you three are gone, leaving the Tuffle planet behind. Appearing in some sort of unfamiliar factory, where the sounds of machines at work is overwhelming. The sheer volume of noise in this place causes you and Meloka to recoil, but Towa doesn't even twitch. Looking around, you see machines building what appear to be Arctus's mechanical soldiers. As you look at them, more than a dozen see you three, turning your way and raising their guns.
“Halt, intruder! Produce your identification, or, ehhh, prepare to be blasted.” one says in its monotone, machine voice. The droids don't immediately open fire, seemingly waiting on you all to produce some sort of identity.

“Arctus! Where are you?” you telepathically reach out, trying to reach his mind with your own. And you find him, a heartbeat later comes his reply.
“Karn? What's going on, wh-Hold on. Why are you HERE?” he asks, his tone shifting to worry as he senses your still-transformed power. “Give me a moment, I'll be right there.”

He then disconnects the mental link, as the droids wave their rifles around uncertainly. Towa, unmoving starts to speak, addressing them.

“I bring General Karn and Meloka, here to speak with Arctus on official business.” she says, the droid with yellow markings on its shoulders turning and sharing glances with several red-shouldered droids. But before any of them can make a move, you feel Arctus's ki appearing just a few feet away. An instant later he appears, his droids turning their rifles on him.
“Stand down, they're recognized guests. “Corporal, scan them in.”
“Roger Roger.” one of the red-shouldered ones says, holstering its rifle on its back before turning. Walking over to a nearby table, lifting a rectangular box up to its head and walking back. Arctus moves over to it, so you all will be facing towards him as he speaks.

“Well, this is unexpected. I don't suppose you came all the way out here to inquire about my health?” he asks as the box flashes, the droid lowering it and walking away from you all. “If you're looking for another ship, I'm working on it. But it's going to take at least another year, maybe two and a half depending on if the Blarg keep shorting me on materials.”
“This is a rather pressing-Wait, did you say Blarg?” Towa asks, her skin paling. It takes you a second to catch on, but then remember. The Blarg are already compromised by the parasite Baby, which means he could be too. You all come to that realization at the same time, collectively powering up as you stare him down. Which causes Arctus to back up, tripping over a discarded droid arm and stumbling back, nearly falling until catching himself on the table.

“What the hell?!” he snarls, righting himself and looking annoyed. “What are you trying to do, give me a heart attack?”
“What have the Blarg brought?” Towa asks intently, her demonic god aura blazing furiously. “I need to know everything.”
“Why does that matter? What's gotten into you all?” he asks, looking from her to Meloka to you. “Karn, what's going on?”

“Here.” Meloka says, tossing the severed head over to him. Surprised, Arctus catches it, looking over the metal head in confusion. He looks back up to you three, seemingly even more confused than before.
“Is this some sort of gift?” he asks, but then you see the realization dawn in his eyes. “Hold on. Start from the beginning, tell me what's going on. And maybe I'll find out why the Blarg are suddenly shorting me on materials.”

And so you start telling him everything, from Chaya's confrontation with the Tuffle parasite Baby after it possessed Raditz, what Towa discovered about it and how the lab the creature was made in was sealed against time scrying. Once you get to the part of landing on Planet M-2, Towa takes over. Explaining how they'd killed the Doctor whose head he now holds, but how she'd connected him to the central terminal, downloading everything onto his memory banks before you destroyed the entire planet.

“So, you want me to break through the encryption, geting at these Tuffle secrets?” he asks, trying to appear nonchalant. But you can almost taste the eagerness for this challenge in his tone. “And this creature, Baby. You said it already took over the Blarg empire?”
“Yeah, that's how it got onto the world Raditz was living his exile on.” you say, Arctus raising a hand to his chin and frowning.
“I see. That would explain why they're shorting all PTO contracts, delivering sub-par materials when they do. If that monster's goal is to exterminate the Saiyans and conquer the universe, taking down the PTO would be a good first step. So, what's the plan? Taking them all out, or will killing this Baby free everyone else?”

“Once the main body is killed, the parasites it has spread to others will cease functioning and eventually die off inside the hosts.” Towa says, her tone grim. “However, the longer Baby has any one host under its control, the stronger it becomes. And having a Super Saiyan, well. In several timelines Baby nearly conquered all of Universe 7. In one he succeeded, and survived the Tournament of Power by defeating even the likes of Jiren.”
“Who?” he asks, you knowing you've heard that name before. But Arctus shakes his head, refocusing on the present. “So, we have a parasite to kill and an empire to save. But why now? Why go out of your way to scout its birthplace, when we can find Raditz easily?”

“Because this monster is different. It is active thirty one years before it should be.” Towa says, Arctus letting out a low whistle. It sounds both worried and begrudgingly impressed, no doubt understanding better than any of you except perhaps Towa how difficult such a task would be. “And for it to already be powerful enough to conquer a mature and powerful Super Saiyan, it is stronger than most of its variants. Before we fight this thing, we need to know what we're up against. And who has a hand in making him stronger.”
“That's all well and good, but there's one problem with your plan.” Arctus says, frowning. “What if they come looking for this guy? I don't have any defense against time travelers. Are you all going to stay here, watching over me like a prison warden until I crack his code?”

“That won't be necessary. After all, I shall give you the strength you require.” Towa says, flipping her staff and pressing the butt of the spear to his forehead. Demonic magic swirls down the length of the weapon, emblazoning her symbol on his forehead in glowing purple. “There. Should anyone from a timeline other than ours approach, you'll feel that seal activate. Unleash that power, and it should bring you up to around Golden Freeza's level of strength.”
“Well, I DO feel a lot more comfortable being left alone with this thing now.” Arctus says, grinning as he flips the head around in his hands, the symbol on his forehead quickly fading away. “Anything else I can help you with, or will that be all today?”

Well? Anything to add?
>Ask what he can do about alerting everyone to what's happening, to keep Baby from spreading his influence from the Blarg Empire's people. You don't want him spreading his influence any faster than can be helped
>Tell Arctus about 'General' Rilldo that you fought. You don't see how he could have escaped, but something tells you you haven't seen the last of him and knowing what he can do could save someone from being turned to metal
>Thank him for his help and head back to New Salda, it's been a long day and you're ready to go rest
>Ask him to tell his family what you all told him, so they can make smarter decisions knowing what's going on and not accidentally get taken over themselves. Losing Raditz is bad enough, but if the Cold Clan fall the very PTO itself could be destroyed in days, if not hours

“No, that's-” Towa starts, you interjecting.
“Yeah, one more thing. Would you mind sharing what we told you with your family?” you ask, Arctus raising a brow. “Last thing we need is Cooler or Freeza, or hell King Cold getting possessed by Baby. With their power and authority, the entire PTO could crumble in days. And if they know what's going on, they'll be able to make better decisions. Hopefully slowing the spread.”
“I understand, good idea.” he replies with a nod, tossing the head and catching it by the top, palming it and looking at the wiring extending from its neck. “I'll let them know before I really get digging into this.”

“Appreciate it.” you tell him, offering your hand. Which he takes, you both sharing a nod before he turns his focus back to the head. Towa taps her staff on the ground, teleporting the three of you back into her lab. Where, to your surprise, someone you'd thought long-destroyed is waiting for you all.
“Welcome back, Mistress.” her mechanical assistant Churai says, bowing to you all. “I take it all is well?”
“Yes, the matter is settled for now.” Towa replies, sighing and stretching her arms overhead. “Would you mind monitoring the PTO chatter this evening? I'm going off to bed.”

“Of course.” Churai replies, bowing once more. Towa turns from her assistant as she takes up position in her lab chair, eyes scanning the screen as it's split into dozens of different feeds.
“Alright, that's it for tonight then.” Towa says, turning to you. “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, I'm just heading outside for a bit before I head back to bed.” you tell her, feeling Meloka's eyes on you as you go. But you don't say anything else, walking out of her lab, out of your home and onto the sandy beach of your home. Looking out over the horizon, the sun's nearly completely down, shrouding your world in darkness and reds, the last light of the dying day. You take a deep breath, then sigh out, only for your instincts to suddenly ping that you're being watched. However, it doesn't feel malicious so you don't turn and try to find the watcher. Instead, you simply call out, not looking back. “You can come over and talk, don't have to stay over there.”

For several moments, nothing happens, then you hear the familiar sound of boots on the sand. From the frequency of steps you think it's someone smaller, then after a moment the young prince walks up to stand by you, also looking out over the sea. You stand there in silence for several seconds, the young prince finally speaking up in the silence.

“Do you look out over the setting sun often?” he asks you, not addressing whatever's on his mind. But that's fine, he'll tell you in his own time.
“Sometimes. Especially when life gets difficult.” you reply, sighing out and sitting down. Bringing your own head much closer to his own's height. “Or when I know life is about to get difficult.”
“Difficult? In what way?” the prince asks, you debating on how much to tell him for a few moments. But before you can start speaking, he speaks back up. “Sorry, it's probably none of my business.”

“No, it's fine. Just... Trying to decide how much to share.” you tell him, turning from the setting sun to the young prince. “Tell me, what do you know about the Tuffles?”
“Tuffles? You mean the guys the Saiyans conquered to get our old homeworld, Planet Vegeta?” he asks you. “I know they were small and good with technology, but on the night of the full moon our people took on our Oozaru forms, crushing our oppressors and conquering the planet.”
“Yeah, something like that.” you reply, remembering the flashes of memory you have from that night. “Well, one of them is somehow back.”

“Really? I always wondered what they looked like.” he says, but seeing your face his eyes grow wide with worry. “Uh oh, what happened?”
“The last Tuffle, their king was turned into some sort of liquid metal parasite. And he's captured Raditz.” you tell him, seeing a look of absolute horror on his face. The young prince takes a frightened step back, body trembling. “It captured him and his wife, using his body like a puppet. Now, he's already captured the Blarg empire, and seeks revenge against our people. It won't stop until it has killed us all, and conquered the universe.”
“How do we stop it? How do we save Raditz?” he asks, the young prince looking to you. To which you can't answer, sighing out and looking back out as the sun vanishes beneath the horizon.

“I don't know.” you say finally. “I don't know, but what I do know is this: that bastard Baby is going to pay for what he's done. I won't let him get away with this, no matter what.”

It may be a required sacrifice. Baby isn't a small-time threat. As for Chaya, she already went into the most advanced medical scanners money can buy. Vox's medical tech is superior to even the PTO's own. Gladiators are money, can't have his money getting too permanently damaged. If they're detectable, Vox's people should find it. Now, if they (or she) can do anything about it could be a whole other story.

After you make your declaration to the prince, you see him looking down, contemplatively. Silence hangs between you, you turning your focus back to the rapidly-darkening ocean. With a weary sigh you push yourself up to your feet, but as you do hear the distinct sound of a fist in one of the PTO-armor gloves clench shut. You turn, the young prince looking down at his fist.

“I won't let this stand.” he says seriously, to his hand. You look down at him, the prince finally looking up to you. Seeing a familiar glow in his eyes, his determination blazing impressively. Yes, he's his father's son alright. “I won't tolerate this. This Tuffle must die for what it's done. I won't allow anyone to live after stealing the free will of my people. Not even a single one.”
“Heh, that's right. That Tuffle bastard won't live, not if I have anything to say about it.” you tell the young prince, as the queen reaches out to you telepathically telling you Vegeta's up. ”But for now, we have another job to do.”
“A job? What?” he asks, you smirking and lifting up into the air.

“Come on, your father's up. I need to tell him what he's missed.” you tell him, the prince's eyes widening. He nods, kicking off the ground and following you as you take off back towards the city. Prince Vegeta flies close behind you, the two of you dropping out of the air and landing softly on the steps to the palace. Where two Royal Guard you don't recognize stand, but both open the doors then offer salutes as they see the prince. Prince Vegeta salutes back, you doing the same and following Vegeta inside. He leads you directly to his father and mother, opening the door to their room just as the king turns, he and Cenoria smiling as they see their son. But then the king's expression darkens as he sees you, immediately knowing something's wrong. He turns his focus from you back to his son, asking him how his day went as he reaches out telepathically to you.
“So, what's the problem?” he asks you with a thought. “That face means it isn't anything good. What's the damage?”

“Where do I even begin?” you reply telepathically, deciding to start from the beginning. You explain to him how everything went down, from Kars appearing and showing you Chaya confronting Raditz to her escape, getting Towa to research the creature while you trained his son for the day, then how you, Towa and Meloka went to Planet M-2 where the Tuffle parasite was created and the powerful planetary Champion you battled, ending with doubling you Event Horizon attacks and creating a black hole, consuming the planet as you fled. As you get to the part where describing destroying a whole world his brow twitches, but other than that maintains his conversation with his son perfectly, Prince Vegeta telling his father how your training pushed him further than anything.

“Oh, so you're saying I'm not pushing your training, is that right?” he asks in a play mock tone, the young prince's eyebrows shooting up as he realizes what the consequences of telling him this may be. But after a moment the king laughs, patting his son on the head. “Of course Karn's training is tougher than mine, I can't train at that level all the time anymore myself. Not with all my other duties.”

But at this he turns to you, expression more serious.

“I should have told you.” he says, a chill running down your spine.
“Told me what?” you ask, unsure if you want the answer. “What's going on? I already told your son as well, he's up to speed.”
“I see. Perhaps if I'd told you, warned you both, maybe she wouldn't have gone.” King Vegeta says, shaking his head then standing to face you. “Very well, we need all the information out in the open. Late last night, Raditz informed me of what was happening to him. His last action as a free man was sending me a telepathic warning of the Tuffles return as his body was being taken over. I then used the deep space scouters, courtesy of Arctus and discovered where there was a Super Saiyan around the time I received his message. Dispatching his father Bardock and an elite team, I had hoped to figure out the truth of the matter. But, it seems your daughter beat them to it.”

“We need to warn them off. If that bastard Baby gets his grip on a warrior like Bardock, we may be in trouble.” you say, suddenly worried.
“Agreed. I've already ordered Beetz to send the stand down order to Bardock, to await further orders before continuing the mission.” King Vegeta says, his expression hardening as he meets your eyes. “But with everything you've told me, there's only one course of action moving forward. We must kill Baby, immediately.”
“I agree, the sooner this monster is dead, the-” you start, King Vegeta holding up a hand for silence. You comply, seeing the weight of the responsibility on his shoulders weighing him down as he speaks.

“We have to kill Raditz.”

“What?” you ask, shocked. Raditz, while in self-imposed exile, is a Saiyan. For Vegeta to order his death shocks you.
“We don't have a choice. The longer that monster is alive, the greater the risk to our people. If that monster won't leave his body, then Raditz must die as well.” he says, tone somber. “I will not risk our people's entire existence over any single life. His death is unfortunate, but a necessary sacrifice for the survival of our race.”

Well? How do you respond?
>Agree. It is unfortunate but necessary, and he can hopefully be brought back to life by the Namekian wish-granting dragon
>Agree, but tell him what Towa told you. How there's still a chance to save him, how Raditz's life could be spared while still allowing you to kill that monster and you want to try this way first
>Disagree, you know there's a way to save him without necessitating his death and won't let him die when he could be saved

“You don't mean that, right Father?” Prince Vegeta suddenly asks. “We're going to save him, right?”
“As much as I want to save him, I must agree with your father. If that is what's necessary, then we must act.” you say, the young prince looking up at you in disbelief. “However, we have another option: there is a chance we can still save Raditz.”
“What do you mean?” King Vegeta asks, you seeing a hint of hope that he won't have to order a fellow Saiyan's death. “Did Towa tell you of a way to extract that parasite?”

“Yes, there is a way. However, it's kind of convoluted.” you tell him, explaining how he was conquered in another timeline, how he transformed into a Golden Oozaru only to have his tail severed, body reverting back to normal. And Baby, having grown inside the far more massive body of the Golden Oozaru, was no longer able to fit inside his stronger body, forcing him to flee the body or be crushed. “It is a rather difficult plan, but it is possible.”
“I see. But your plan has two flaws.” King Vegeta tells you, raising a finger with each one he counts off. “First, making Raditz a Golden Oozaru would make him a far greater threat, with that power he may destroy the planet itself while rampaging out of control. And second, do you even know how to make a Power Ball to transform him? The central pillar upon which this plan functions?”

“...No, I don't.” you reply with a sigh, feeling a bit chastised. To which he nods, expression resolute. Silence hangs in the air between you, until he raises his hand once more.
“Very well. You have half a day tomorrow to master it.” he says, you raising a brow at this. “I want this monster taken down by this time tomorrow, before it can spread its influence any further. No matter what it takes, do I make myself clear?”
“Crystal.” you respond with a Saiyan salute. “I won't fail.”
“Good. I leave the rest to you.” he says, returning the salute. “Now, get some rest. You've got a long day tomorrow.”
“Right.” you reply, raising your right hand to your forehead. And with a thought focus on your wife's ki, teleporting back home.

“Hey hun, glad you're-what's wrong?” she asks you, seeing the look on your face. “What is it?”
“We're gonna have a long day tomorrow.” you tell her, explaining your talk as you undress to get into bed. She and Towa both look concerned as you tell them your orders, how Baby dies tomorrow.

“I agree.” you reply, laying back and closing your eyes. But as you lay there, sleep doesn't come. Both your wife and Towa are asleep within minutes, but you cannot. And as the minutes stretch on and on, you can't help but worry about what tomorrow will bring.

As you lay in the silence, worried about your confrontation with the monster, suddenly a thought comes to mind. If it were YOUR child, you'd want to know. And have a feeling Bardock, one of the few other Saiyans you knew to keep a wife and family before you, would agree. So, you reach out telepathically to a fellow father, heart heavy with bad news.

“Hey, Bardock, this is Karn. Can you hear me?” you think out into the void. It takes several seconds, but you finally hear a reply back.
“Karn? What's going on?” he asks you. “Do you have any news?”

And oh boy you do. Not GOOD news, but news nonetheless.

“It's about Raditz.” you tell him, then explain everything to him. He doesn't interrupt, letting you tell him everything. Including what you'd been ordered by King Vegeta to do tomorrow, should the plan fail to save his son's life. And once you've told him everything, he remains quiet a few more moments, until finally answering.
“I see. It is for the best.” comes his reply, you can almost feel his entire body sighing. “Raditz wasn't a great kid or anything, but I know he'd hate to be under some bastard's control like that. If you can't save him, then definitely take him down. He would rather be dead than some Tuffle bastard's meat puppet. Promise me you won't let him suffer under that monster's control, Karn.”

“I won't. One way or another, Baby dies tomorrow.” you answer, Bardock asking a few more questions about how Baby gets inside someone, if it needs be through an injury or just any opening, how your daughter avoided getting captured upon confronting him, and how he knew deep down when King Vegeta gave him the order he knew his son was dead. He then ends the link, you ending it from your end as well as sleep finally begins to take you. Almost as soon as you close your eyes again, they spring open, feeling someone watching you. And there, standing just inside the doorway of your room, is Haathe.

“My lord. I know you wished to be up early today, to start as soon as possible. So, I came to wake you.” she says softly, bowing as you sit up.
“Thanks Haathe. Appreciate it.” you whisper back, gently sneaking out of bed. Meloka and Towa grumble a bit, but neither wakes, you going and quickly getting dressed as Haathe leaves. You sense her energy heading back to her room, no doubt to go back to sleep as you quickly pull a suit on, donning your boots and gloves for a training suit before heading towards the door yourself. Looking back, you see your wife and Towa, both still asleep before you exit, making your way down the halls then to the ramp, leaving your ship behind.

Taking a deep breath of the early morning air, you seeing the sun just beginning to rise up over the ocean, you connect to New Salda itself, becoming one with your world once more and taking on your Champion form.

“GREETINGS, CHAMPION.” New Salda's booming voice echoes in your mind. “IS SOMETHING THE MATTER?”
“No, nothing wrong yet. Just need to find someone.” you reply, using the awareness of this world to look out over everyone. You can sense each and every single living being on the planet, but find who you're looking for rather quickly. The only other woman on the planet as skilled at manipulating ki as your wife, and to your surprise she's already awake. Awake, and not alone. As she, Nappa, Aisha and Kaliflor Clan-Clan, and Parsla are all gathered together. “Interesting.”

Without another word you lift off into the air, flying out past the city as you rapidly approach the odd group. You find them in a clearing past the second Saiyan city on New Salda, none of the workers even up yet as dawn breaks. But the five of them being up is rather surprising. You come to a stop over them, dropping down out of the sky and landing between Nappa and the woman you're here to see, Tunnip.

“Well, this is quite the group. I hope I'm not interrupting?” you ask as everyone turns to you quizzically.
“General Karn? What are you doing here?” Aisha asks, the Ctarl-Ctarl woman clearly the most openly confused. She doesn't have much of a poker face.
“Long story short? I need to learn the Power Ball technique, today.” you tell her, everyone's expression turning from one of confusion to open shock. Nappa the most surprised of all.

“Hold on. You mean to tell me in all the years you've known it was possible, you've never learned it?” he asks you, incredulously. “There's no way.”
“I never needed it. I always had my wife who knew it, as well as warriors like yourself by my side.” you tell him. “But I need it for a mission I'm going on today.”
“And what kind of solo mission is that?” Tunnip asks you, her eyes narrowing. “Why do you have to take such a mission alone?”

Well? How do you respond to that?
>Tell them all everything, from the Tuffle parasite Baby to the plan to save Raditz's life. Nappa and Tunnip deserve to know, and Aisha needs to know if her people have been compromised by contact with the Blarg as well

“Nappa, Tunnip, I need to talk to you two. Privately.” you say to them aloud, tapping the side of your head. They both nod, you reaching out to them telepathically. Quickly you tell the two of them everything, watching their expressions change from shock, to fear, to anger, back to shock as you tell them everything that's happened. It only takes you a second in real time to telepathically tell them the whole story from yesterday, Nappa letting out a low whistle.
“Damn. That's fucked.” Tunnip says, reaching up and patting you on the shoulder by levitating. “Don't worry, we've got your back.”
“Yeah. Tuffle bastards.” Nappa mutters, you glaring at him as he speaks it aloud. At the word both Aisha and Kaliflor's long, beastly ears perk up, both looking over curiously.

“Sorry, confidential. I think. But what I can say is I need to learn the Power Ball, today.” you tell them. Aisha suddenly giggling. “What?”
“It's kinda funny. All this time you've been so much stronger than me, but I know this technique you don't.” she says. “Seems even the best can't know everything. But if you're up against a real threat, I'll help ya out. I can be the one to test if you get it right.”
“But mother-” Kaliflor starts, Aisha shushing her daughter, giving her a wink before turning back to you.

“I've been practicing on my transformation, nowadays I barely feel any energy drain with transforming anymore. I can go back and forth dozens of times before I start getting tired, unlike when we first fought.”
“Heh, sounds good.” you tell her, taking a breath and squaring your shoulders. “Alright, let's get to work.”
“Alright, to start, the Power Ball isn't any single energy mix, think of it more like a spiral.” Nappa tells you as you focus your ki sense on him, studying his energy as he speaks. “Two energies merging into one, and inner and an outer layer.”

You listen as he focuses, raising his right hand up and slowly conjuring the sphere of energy in his hand. The pale blue orb glows, Nappa then turning and pitching it into the air. The orb sails high into the air before stopping, Nappa then clenching his fist.

“Burst open and mix!” he shouts, you looking away from the orb. Immediately you can feel the energy, the Blutz waves as they hit your tail. That power makes your hair stand on end, a tremble run through your body. But as you turn your focus, Nappa focuses on the orb. As does Aisha, both transforming in the light of the faux full moon. Nappa grows to colossal heights, golden fur sprouting all over his body while Aisha takes on her more bestial, four-legged beast form. They both howl up at the Power Ball, Nappa beating his chest a couple times.

But then he regains control of himself, Nappa then reaching up and closing his hand around the orb before looking down at you.

“Just like that. And when the Power Ball is broken, like this-” he says, the orb shattering with a resounding crack as he closes his fist. “The transformation will last for another few minutes, up to half an hour depending on how much power you use while transformed.”

And with that he raises his head, firing a titanic beam of energy from his mouth. His strength dips as he continues firing that beam, plummeting to less than half of his golden strength before his body starts shrinking. Quickly reverting back down to his normal size and form. Coming to a stop as he's down on a knee, taking a couple quick breaths before rising back up to his feet.

“Just like that.” he says, eyes meeting yours. “You ready?”
“Ready.” you reply, and so you get to work. He and Tunnip walk you through it, Aisha, able to revert her transformation at-will, also throwing in her advice when she thinks it appropriate. But as you keep trying, there's just something... wrong. It makes sense logically, you understanding how it is supposed to work, but there's a piece missing you're just not getting. And after an hour of trying, your frustration mounting, a familiar voice calls to you.
“Really? So eager to get to it you couldn't wait for me?” your wife calls, you turning to her as she lands. “So, have you got it?”

“No.” you say with a sigh, letting your frustration out. “I don't know what it is, but I'm missing something.”
“Hmm? Alright, walk me through how you're doing it.” your wife tells you. And as you explain what you're doing she corrects you, fixing your technique and walking you through how to do it right. It's almost like you both are twenty years younger, like when she was first teaching you how she made her Ki Blades while in the Attack Pods on the way to your extermination missions. And after ten minutes of her coaching, you think you have it.
“Alright, Let it fly!” your wife says, you raising your right hand up before you. Drawing up not two but THREE different types of ki; the densest in the middle, most fragile on the outside while the middle energy is volatile, ready to detonate at the slightest touch. Forming a spherical orb in your hand, the energy glowing a pale azure. It feels right, this is it!

“HAAAA!” you shout, tossing the orb into the air before clenching your fist. “Burst open and mix!”

You watch your orb as the middle layer bursts, power diving into the central core, causing that energy to spike out, hitting the outer layer. Creating the correct frequency, radiating with Blutz Waves. Except, having done it wrong so many times already, you don't look away. Feeling the power of the Blutz Waves as they strike your tail, causing you to transform! You feel your body expanding more and more, growing larger and larger as emerald fur sprouts all over your body. Rage, blinding anger even stronger than the usual Berserker wrath blazes in your chest, you feeling it as it overwhelms your mind.

“GRRRROOOAAAAAAARR!!” you bellow out in challenge to the world, to the universe, beating your chest in a show of dominance. But as you do, suddenly three lesser, gold challengers rapidly grow, all bellowing back in defiance. And you won't let this challenge stand! “GRRAAAAAAAAAA!!”

>>
>>6100304
And that's it for this episode, everyone enjoy the start of this new arc? Ready to rampage, to see just how strong your Emerald Oozaru power is compared to the Golden Oozaru before you? Are you ready to confront Baby Raditz, to see what he can do and if your plan will work? Can you do what's necessary if it fails, or will you choose mercy regardless? And do you REALLY expect Baby to honor a 1v1? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>6100306
The real question is whether or not Baby is stupid enough to think we'd honor the 1v1. I definitely wanna let Ginyu know what's up so he can make a special appearance, and I hope Kars is ballsy enough to swoop in when the time is right.
Anyways, good session, I'm excited to see the return of the Funkiest of Monkeys.

Smart. Karn's built different and would most definitely take himself out if Baby somehow gets around his Energy Body.
That said, I still stand by bringing individuals with unconventional biology, like Ginyu. I pray he's not asleep right now.
>>
>>6100330
Not asleep, but busy. He and the rest of the Force are on another job, one King Cold wants handled immediately. And can only entrust to them. However, wonder how that mission'll change once Arctus' warning gets to him...?

Patron Epliogue for August is now live, as always just a hint of what's over there for you all. Patreon implemented a good feature, a sell-by-post so you could only pay for a single post instead of a monthly sub. But they locked it as a minimum of $3/post, so that's fucking stupid.

The powerball is a lottery. Usually the one where someone wins hundreds of millions (or a billion, at one point) of dollars before taxes. Lots of people spend a lot of money on lottery tickets. Gambling is a bad hobby and ruins lives.

>>
For the sake of debate, who's the bigger cosmic problem; Baby or Buu? I'm leaning towards Buu due to its busted ability to assimilate AND regenerate.
>>
>>6100815
I'm gonna have to say Buu. He gets a lot of really stupid hax. Baby is definitely smarter though so it's almost even.
>>
Question GD. Is there any PL or Mechanical Difference between Karn looking at a Power Ball at Base, First Form Berserker, or Berserker God, when he goes Emerald Oozaru?
>>
>>6100488
Probably.
>>6100815
>cosmic problem
Depends on the definition. Buu just goes around erasing everything until nothing's left. If Shin wasn't so good at running away Buu would have killed him too when he got GSK, and Beerus would have been no more. Which is a problem. But Baby would eventually make himself a god, overthrowing all mortal kind until they all are him. But unlike Buu, he doesn't know of any way into the divine realm, so the gods themselves would be safe for a time. Long enough to get Beerus off his ass and to do his job, so I'd have to say Buu.
>>6100884
>He gets a lot of really stupid hax
Enough to even stump Moro, at least for a time. But could Baby possess the World Eater and gain his knowledge/powers, or would the ancient wizard know a means to prevent his capture?
>>6100904
Not really, aside from how angry you are going in. If you're full Berserker God and lost control then go Emerald Oozaru your sanity's on vacation for a time.
>>
>>6100978
Is there any possibility of combining Berserker God power with Legendary Super Saiyan 4? (Should we happen to get big monkey-self under control)
>>
>>6100981
Not within the next decade, probably not. Unless you choose to go full Jiren and leave everyone and everything else behind to go training off by yourself. But would Karn choose such a path?
>>
>>6100993
>Unless you choose to go full Jiren and leave everyone and everything else behind to go training off by yourself. But would Karn choose such a path?
The only conceivable way I can see Karn walking that path is if there was nothing left in his life. I'll let you imagine how that would even come to pass.
Anyways, it honestly sounds like a miserable existence, walking with no direction and a keen sense of what could have been. Nothing but guilt and self delusion.
>>
To be fair, as our kids get stronger, they become even better training partners.

'Kid time' and 'hardcore training time' become less and less different as they get older.
>>
>>6100996
Alternatively, with how often everything goes tits up, Karn sacrificing everything he can to ensure peace through power is something he probably could be strongarmed into considering. He doesn't need to lose everything to go full mountain monk, just be convinced it's the optimal way of saving what there is.

I for one look forward to the Apex Berserker God omake that makes Jiren feel like a helpless child once again facing a true monster
>>
>>6100997
>'Kid time' and 'hardcore training time' become less and less different as they get older.
Sure, but they have their own lives to live. It'd be a little out there to expect them all to stay on New Salda once they reach the age where they can give Karn a run for his money.
>>6100998
I'm more looking forward to making Jiren shit his pants when we pull an Undertaker after eating his best shot.
>>
>>6101006
Sure, but whichever ones are around, we can train with, and train hard.
>>
>>6100996
True. Sure, Karn may hyper-focus for a month or two, like he did before the second Universe 6 Tournament. But yes he was still home and not leaving his family behind.
>>6100997
True, but Karn cannot get 100% efficient training with other beings around. To truly excel in training like Future Chaya did to reach her level, you need to have little else to do BUT train.
>>6100998
Could consider, but wouldn't accept without either a damn good reason, such as nearly losing everyone like he did with Dumplin before, or another reasoon.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 224 Epilogue-

AGE 758, DREADZONE STATION

“Alright, thanks for helping me set everything up Scratch.” you tell the little medical expert. “Wanna stick around and see if this works, or-?”
“No, I'd b-b-better get back.” he tells you, taking one last look at the scanner setup along with your makeshift streaming setup. “I'm n-n-not one for the cam-m-m-mera, I work best on the b-b-b-back end.”
“Alright. Let's hope this works.” you say, taking a deep breath, then sighing out. Flipping the switch and activating the computer setup. The computers hum to life, your stream starting right up flawlessly. “Here goes.”

You watch as everything comes online, seeing the tens of billions of sentient beings who had been talking amongst themselves in your chat react to the stream starting at a quite unusual time. You see the chat exploding, you then flipping the camera on.

“Hey guys. Yes, this stream's quite early. And not in the usual place too, right? Bet you're wondering where I am at right now, huh? Why don't you try and guess, let's see where you all think I am.” you ask with a bit of a teasing tone, watching the stream count exploding upwards within a minute as the alerts go out to all of your followers. You watch the count surge, reading off a few of them who guess where you are. “Planet Pontifu? No, not today. Orxon? No, not there either. No, I'm not back home at New Salda either, hehe.”

But as more guesses come through, you begin seeing some guess correctly. Smirking, you applaud as you tell a mod to find the one who guessed it right first. They pull the name up to you, you getting them to send them a decent stack of credits.

“That's right, I'm back in medical. But not for the reasons any of you think.” you say as the chat explodes with shock, saying there was no way Raditz would hurt you that badly despite what happened. “No, no, it wasn't Raditz. Well, not exactly. Alright, we hit a trillion, that should be enough. Alright, everyone, listen up. I'm streaming early today, because, well, there's no easy way to say it. I need your help.”

As you say this, your chat explodes with posts, you feeling the tingle of Faith start at the base of your tail, crawling up your spine and imbuing you with their love. You are Chaya: Dreadzone Champion, daughter of the legendary Berserker Karn and the Super Saiyan God Meloka, and fledgling Goddess of Victory. With your quadrillions of faithful across the universe, you have reached levels of power rarely seen across the multiverse. After all, it's not every age that a mortal ascends to godhood.

“You guys heard me right, I need your help. I need all of your help.” you tell them seriously, bringing up the first scan Scratch had taken of you on the screen by you. “You guys see this? Can you tell me what's wrong with this scan?”

Watching as chat studies you on a more intimate level than you've ever shared before, you find yourself feeling a bit self-conscious. Something you haven't felt for years, back when you first started giving interviews and doing your streams. But as they study it, it only takes them a few moments.

>Are those...Rocks?
>Hey, what're those?
>Shit, that ain't right
>What's that on your spinal?
>Base of the skull, that's not good
>Oh no, Chaya's pregnant!

“Well, some of you are half-right.” you say, gesturing towards the weird things on your spinal column. “Those things there, I got them from Raditz' world. Radi, my Radi, he's... He's been possessed.”

As you say 'captured' the chat's volume doubles, speculation, worry, and terrified panic flooding the chat. You see speculation as to who possessed him, whether or not it was a current or former god seeking revenge, a mad wizard, or something else. But no one gets close.

“Not quite. From what my Daddy told me, thanks to doing a bit of time research, it's a Tuffle of all things. A Tuffle mad science project seeking revenge for our people exterminating his. And now that bastard captured Raditz, Redis, and their unborn child.” you tell them all. “Yes, those things inside me are how they capture someone's free will. Turning them into slaves for the Tuffle monster. This is what I need you guys for, I need everyone to believe in me. That my, that OUR power is greater than this Tuffle menace! I need all of you to believe in me, right now!”

And as you say this you close your eyes, using their Faith in you to ascend into your Super Saiyan Blue form. Fully embracing your divine strength, slowly opening your eyes.

“If we work together, you and me, we'll be strong enough to crush this monster.” you say to them, grabbing the electromagnetic scanner and raising it back above your face, between you and your chat as you turn it on.. “And that's why I have this. So you all can see, in real time, just how powerful your Faith makes me. You all get front-row, exclusive seats to watch as your belief in me helps me crush these little parasite bastards.”

As you say this, the machine turning on with a faint hum, you can feel it. The swell of your audience, of your fans, your WORSHIPPERS' Faith in you begins to swell. The tingle of divine power, of your quadrillions of believers' Faith in you surging into your body. But you can't just let that power wash over you and flare your aura, to let your power swell freely as it would destroy the setup you and Scratch worked so hard to put together. You promised them a show, and you're going to deliver!

“Now, watch closely everyone! As your faith in me gives me the power, the might I need to crush these parasites!” you call out to them, clenching your fists and closing your eyes. Feeling your power surge, the enhanced awareness of the divine power and your heightened control over your strength thanks to blue, can feel every single cell of your body. And what isn't your body, there at the base of your skull. You can feel the alien parasites wriggling inside you, the monsters who will crawl up into your brain and turn you into that monster's puppet. “Share your belief in me, in our power to overcome the Tuffle menace!”

Immediately you feel it, your worshippers' power flooding into you. Your strength surges, requiring your focus to prevent the sudden spike from damaging the machines. Instead you focus down, drawing it all down on the foreign bodies inside you. The weight of your power crashes down on the monsters inside of your body, you feeling their tiny, fragile bodies cracking under the weight of your power. The metal parasites crumble under the weight of your divine energy, your power crushing them all into nothing. You feel them dying inside of you, their bodies breaking down to nothing more than atoms as your strength destroys them.

“That's it chat, everyone see that? Can you see it?” you ask them excitedly as the parasites die. You smash them into nothing, feeling your power crushing into nonexistence the Tuffle parasites within you. And then it's over, no more of the monsters within your body. So you slide the screen down, looking at your chat with a radiant grin. “You all did it! Thanks to you, to your help, I'm saved. We did it!”

And as the chat scrolls by at damn near the speed of light, you barely able to keep up with them all, you feel pride blossoming within your chest. YOUR fans, YOUR worshippers have done it! They pulled through for you, their belief, their FAITH that you would triumph over the Tuffle menace was stronger than this parasite. And now, now that you have the strength to overcome, it's time.

“But we're not done yet chat!” you tell them, powering back down with a sigh. “Because tomorrow we're going back. And I'm going to save Raditz!”

-Meanwhile, on Planet Eudora-

“Gah!?” the parasite exclaims, clutching as his host's chest as he suddenly drop to a knee.
“King Kudamo, what is wrong?” the host's wife, Redis asks, kneeling down beside you worriedly. “My lord, are you okay? What is happening?”
“My parasites, my children. The ones we implanted into Chaya. They've been... Destroyed.” the Tuffle says, surprised at his own words. “I don't know how she did it. One moment they were fine, and the next... Crushed, beneath an intense power.”

“Do you think she has discovered some new level of power?” she asks, the former king shaking his head. And through his telepathic link through all his possessed bodies, finds the one monitoring the Dreadzone frequencies.
“Report. Has Chaya been active?” the parasite asks, to which the possessed subordinate replies instantly.
“She's had her stream open for a few minutes now. Showing how she's fighting off your parasites.” comes the immediate reply. “Somehow, she used... Faith.”

“Faith? What do you mean, she used-?” he starts, only to stop halfway through the question. Memories, not his own but those of the host, Raditz, flood into his mind. Visions of her building her audience, of how she explained it to him.
“There's no way this works.” Raditz had said, arms crossed. “Get enough people to believe in something, and, what? It just is? That's insane.”
“Yes. But it's why beings like the gods are so strong. You believe in things being able to be destroyed, so Beerus the Destroyer can destroy anything. You believe in life creating new life, so the Kais have the power to seed worlds with life. Conceptual deities have their power because us mortals believe in how things work.” she had told him, but while Raditz understood this he didn't grasp it's implications. But the Tuffle parasite understands, in all its implications.

“Faith, huh? I see. Very well, I shall have to test this 'faith' idea out myself.” the Tuffle parasite King Kudamo says, smirking maliciously as he rises back to his feet. “I shall not only conquer this universe, and eradicate the Saiyans. But I shall become a god, and overthrow them as well. I shall rule the entire universe as it's one, true god! Muehahahahahahaahaahaaa!!”

If you think about it logically, enough B1 Battle Droids would be able to beat anything. It may take a few trillion sextillions, but they would be able to eventually defeat and even kill the likes of the gods of destruction themselves if there were enough of them and they fired all at the same time. Twenty nonillion of them definitely beat an Angel tier opponent. Fifty vigintilion B1s and they would likely achieve omnipotence and rule everything.

With their sheer gravitational weight, I suppose they could crush almost anything. But not a Destroyer. They can literally become immune to weaker attacks outright, as we see Beerus and Toppo both do in separate arcs. Nd destroy them all despite how many there are. Beerus singlehandedly extinguished the Flood, after all.

Just teach them all kung fu. Just because they are a bit dinky doesn't change the fact they are made of metal. And as we all know the metal will live on.
>>
>>6102592
>But why would you, when your finger can do the same?
Because a Death Star ISN'T a creature with its own nature, personality, needs, wants, etc...
It's a tool, plain and simple. Built for a singular purpose and easily controlled.
Circumstances being what they are RIGHT NOW, the idea of a Death Star is completely irrelevant. However, that may not always be the case.

>4 normal Oozarus. Is someone avoiding looking into the light of Power Ball? Why would one of them not want to turn into Oozaru in such moment?
Very good question. And the answer should be obvious: they're stronger without it
That's the crazy part about Faith: with enough of it even the laws of reality itself need not apply. If enough beings truly believed someone couldn't die, they would be immortal.
>scary
Scary? No, not scary. VERY SCARY! Fortunately, as long as you don't fail, he won't live long enough to exploit this knowledge.

A divine Oozaru wouldn't necessarily be Blue, as that requires "extreme control". Which is something the Oozaru fundamentally lacks.
>>
>>6102735
Gungans are actually pretty swole. Remember that clones were losing fistfights with B1s on occasion. I guess it depends on the writer of course. In some scenes you punch a B1 and its head spins completely around like a cartoon, others you break your fist. Inconsistencies abound.

Depending on where a newer factory was established, the cheapest available minerals (the ones closest to the facility) could have been literally anything. The difference in build quality between a first generation Geonosian produced B1 and an asteroid factory produced B1 from the tail end of the war must have been staggering.
>>

What? When? I've never seen a clone lose to -a- battle droid. Now I'm not talking B-2s or Magnaguards, or even assassin droids.
>>6102783
That...Is an entirely reasonable answer.
>>6102787
The power of Faith is extraordinary. Why do you think the Lanterns are so powerful? Same reason the 40k Orks' Faith is so strong, but on an even greater scale.
Oh absolutely. Almost every army in history, near the end of a losing war suffered staggering quality control reductions. Or severely reduced production capabilities.
>>
>>6102820
>What? When? I've never seen a clone lose to -a- battle droid. Now I'm not talking B-2s or Magnaguards, or even assassin droids.
In a book or novelization IIRC. Though I think it was also in one of the animated series. The lore itself as shoddy as it is nowadays does point out that while B1s are clunky and not agile in the slightest, they are still physically stronger than they look because they are robots at the end of the day.

The movies don't really show any of this off very well. And against more important clones (like commandos, ARCs, etc.) B1s aren't given the time of day for story reasons.

My perception still heavily influenced by Tartakovsky's Clone Wars, the best animated Star Wars ever. B1s are a threat for numbers, where B2s are built differently
>>
>>6102876
Those clones were built different too.

>>6102876

>>6102882
Tartakovsky's a master of silent suspense, ever since Samurai Jack. Even back then, how many shows would have over a minute of silence? Much less with such shorter run times compared to other media at the time. Cinema forgot how powerful silence can be, how heavy you can make something without words explaining how you 'should' feel.
>>
>>6102876
I really do love B2s. I just wish they didn't have chicken legs compared to their all-shoulders bodies. They're menacing as hell.

>>6102878
To be fair, that clone there isn't just -a- clone. He's got purdy colors :)

>>6102896
>To be fair, that clone there isn't just -a- clone. He's got purdy colors :)
Every clone has the potential to earn those colors and Jaig eyes. Most just don't live long enough to do so.
>>
>>6102889
Tartakovsky's innate understanding of Kurosawa style action is probably why he was such a fantastic fit for Star Wars.
>>
>>6102898
Potential is a funny thing. It means nothing unless it is realized. For example, you or I could cure cancer. COULD. More than likely won't.
>>
>>6102896
I think the walking triangle is a menacing shape, like old-school Superman, Hercules, etc. Very top-heavy, heroic design.
True, which is why he could knock down a B2.
>>6102898
True, cut from a similar mold, one could say.
>>6102903
Oh absolutely. Which is why didney fails, they failed to respect the ‘source’ material for how to set up a fight. Their action sequences are marvel superhero slop, with no felt tension or stakes. Compared to episode 3 anakin and kenobi vs dooku. We KNOW neither jedi gets killed in the fight, yet its still tense and suspenseful. A fight scene without any stakes is just screentime filler 90+% of the time. Unless they’re using it to set up a chekov’s gun, but most modern entertainment doesn’t even know what that means and wants it banned because ‘gun’.
>>6102909
>Potential is a funny thing. It means nothing unless it is realized
Oh boy, if that isn’t the tagline for poor GT’s concepts.
>>
>>6102978
All of the nu-wars stuff is just so slow. Using weapons that in about a half a second can literally split someone in half, yet still they ponderously swing them around and hold guards for ages. Some people don't like the flashy spinny of the prequels, which is fair, but even compare the new stuff to the OG fights. They are snappy when they should be. And rough and dragged out when they should be. Luke winding up those big strikes against a nearly helpless Vader isn't "bad choreography" it's storytelling in motion. But the choreographers nowadays just seem to look at stuff like that and think "Oh wow they swing HARD. Let's make it look really big and strong, people like that!" and miss entirely that a battle can display a dozen ideas and qualities at once.

But it isn't just the fights. Even the pacing is slow. Like watching glacial flow up until the writers realize the story needs to actually go somewhere and suddenly it's breaking the sound barrier. I really hope all the big studios remember how to make good movies so those stupidly huge budgets can be worth it. I bet every dead shareholder from the past is rotating like a centrifuge looking at the sheer amount of money being thrown straight into the fire every time a company does anything at all nowadays.

>Oh boy, if that isn’t the tagline for poor GT’s concepts.
>"Oh that could be good!"

You don't understand GD, we can't rely on subtext to convey anything because audiences are retarded! If we don't say it explicitly, it may as well not exist!
>This is what most entertainment industry execs actually believe
>>
>>6103262
But audiences ARE retarded though
>>
>>6103291
No, audiences are IGNORTANT, not retarded. They may not be able to articulate how they feel about something, but they are most definitely taking in themes and details and processing them subconsciously. This initial lack of articulation and background processing leads to questions, which lead to discussion.
Now what does that imply about something that many people have seen, but DON'T talk about?
>>
>>6103296
I don't know. A lot of "modern audience" people do seem to be quite unwell mentally. Maybe the real audience were the people we didn't advertise to along the way.
>>
>>6103300
>A lot of "modern audience" people do seem to be quite unwell mentally
You'd think, but that's probably a case of obsessive people being hyper vocal, and thus being overly represented in observations. You can't really take StarWarsFan1989 as being indicative of the broader audience after all.
>>
>>6103304
Well y'see the "modern audience" is not a modern audience. It's this mythical other thing, like the "wider consumer base" and "global appeal" stuff execs love to insist is real. Like a unicorn, except it spends its entire time screeching and it'll shit on your couch.

In particular, the whole discussion reminds me expectations in quality in regards to media aimed at younger demographics.
I'm of the opinion that the intended audience being ignorant is no justification for media to lack depth, nuance, and overall production quality, but apparently that's a little far-fetched to most people.
>>
>>6103325
I can agree with that. In general, I'd prefer stuff for younger audiences to have substance. Even the "edutainment" types like WordGirl. I'd rather those than the Cocomelon hell of today
>>
>>6103325
What's funny is a lot of children's media back in the day would include subtle jokes and wordplay for adults watching. And while most kid's shows were mostly slop, there were many that included some seriously deep meaning and thinking and just let kids sit on it for a while before giving a conclusive answer, if they ever did.

I think one problem is people have been saying "kids are stupid" for so long that the people in charge nowadays actually believe it. This could be symptomatic of a society in which people erroneously equate education with intelligence, or it could just be a general ignorance born of societal consensus and herd mentality. And it has become very apparent that most media nowadays is built as if it were for children despite being for adults. There seems to be a general philosophy built backwards of "tell don't show" and keeping things so blatantly obvious that a person (of any age) with no emotional maturity or intelligence can consume it without thought. People are forgetting how people work despite they themselves being people. These are dark times.
>>
>>6103329
>What's funny is a lot of children's media back in the day would include subtle jokes and wordplay for adults watching.
Well that's the thing, there were parents watching stuff alongside their children. Nowadays that pretty much never happens since everybody has their own private screen to stare at. As a result, there's less clear-cut incentive to have anything of substance, hence why now we have to argue in favor of it when it used to just be a thing that naturally occurred.
>People are forgetting how people work despite they themselves being people. These are dark times.
A multi-millionaire in a starched suit and tie is about the furthest away you can get from being a person while still being categorized as a Homo-Sapien. There's just a fundamental disconnect between those types and normal people for a variety of reasons.
>>
>>6103332
Well it's not just corporate goofs, it's a lot of people. Lots of characters in movies nowadays just don't act like people. They're written in such a way that is just nonsensical. It's not longer a drama thing, or a suspension of disbelief just to make the movie's premise possible like horror movies. The characters are genuinely not behaving like a real person should in the slightest. And it spills over into people on the streets even. Used to be if someone was acting really wacky you'd just assume they were on something. Now you really can't tell if someone is tweaking or "I'm just neurodivergent teehee REEEEEEE". which as a person with genuine brain problems is annoying as shit lemme tell ya

I remember when weird people were just the ones using anime catchphrases in real life or taking a phase way too far. Now they're openly doing sex shit in public, suffering from Truman Show disorder, or insisting they are the reincarnation of their great-grandma's dog because she fucked the thing once (fr fr we srs on gaw).

Is this what Karn has to look forward to when his grandkids start doing space-tok dances in front of him? kek
