06/04/10(Fri)23:49 No.10283133>>10283011 1932, the Mexican coastline. A mysterious electrical storm shakes the skies. José Ortiz, the best pilot of the Mexican air force, loses control of his plane for a split second, just a moment and then...
The storm is gone. The coastline of Mexico is gone. A strange, lonely coast lies in its place. He is bewildered, struck dumb, utterly lost. He takes three passes of the landscape, but sees nothing and no one. Grass and stones, and far in the north a distant wood.
That night, lonesome and feeling a sickness that has nothing to do with health, he lands on an open stretch of beach and goes to sleep.
The next day there is no one there. Nor is there the next, and the next, nor the next. He must survive, alone, in a wild place without his family, without his country, without other men. |
