Look at it this way: we leave the probe in orbit, we can observe traffic in system, so can the pentex probe there as well. We'll be able to see all the ships coming and going, if there are any more that is.
If we land, we will actually know what we're up against, we will have valuable information, information we can profit from, information that other people, like the UN (whose basically own pentex) would like to get their hands on. |
