Companies can be fined quite literally unlimited money - there is no ceiling to the fines, but on average, it goes from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in the event of a workplace accident where negligence caused it.
This person is endangering themselves, the company they work on behalf of, and by proxy, the jobs of everyone else. I don't care if it's discrimination, if you don't want to wear a hard hat in a hard hat zone, you should not work in a hard hat zone. 2) It's a weapon. Dull knives can still pierce skin. 3) While I understand that it is a hat, in the case of cultural sensitivity, does this not go both ways? If you want to be a mountie, adopting the uniform is part of that. |
