    For Marines, I'd suggest you make them a bit bulkier, if that fits in with the human's aesthetics. You know, bigger boots, perhaps larger pauldrons (not SM hueg, that's ridiculous). See original Master Chief from Halo. Guy looks like a tank, and would be scary to stare down if he's charging you.

    Also, incredibly rough Bravo Team seal/symbol made in a moving vehicle. Wanted to add a script thingy at the bottom, but it's hard to doodle in a moving vehicle.

    been tooling around with sheet redesigns and strengthening the imagery behind the uniform.

    its definitely bulked up a bit but I like to think that there exist skinny versions of the uniform for regular troops since they have to be re equipped constantly for space or terran operations.

    its a quest/game that i run semi regularly here in tg.

    the premise is that you pick a unit and play as that unit in the field. your stats are believably shitty so that you and anon would have to work together , possibly even sacrifice yourselves for each other in order to see a mission succeed.

    at least that was the working logic behind this game.

    To date, there has been no "real" death as of yet. Each player comes with clones , just one extra before they put themselves on the line one last time. some folks hit it lucky and get promoted to have more clones.

    That's pretty much it. OP will drop a map, an objective will be loosely defined, and usually I or some guy with a [TA] tag will start saying "go here, do that" kind of thing. Commanding officer for CO tag, tactical adviser for TA tag.

    We try to lead you to victory. And no, it's not railroading, because one we are players, and two, you can easily decide to say "fuck that, I'll do this instead because it won't get me killed immediately."

    And yes, that's perfectly fine.

    Now when a game begins, Orbital Command, or another CO will start handing out numbers arbitrarily. So you may end up being [Ag1] or [Ag2]. This is done so you can identify yourself on the game map.

    Yeah, but as far as stats are concerned, it's mostly class-based, so all the stats are in the unit cards posted.

    Also, as you rank up (usually by kills, not sure how an APC driver will get ranks), you can add points to your skills and abilities.

    Most people also like to color their unit card as well.

    And for an example of something that happened last time we fielded an APC, it was used by one "Mono" to drive up to a mobile land fortress (essentially a tank the size of several buildings), make a jump, land on it, and allow our game-winning troops to infiltrate and neutralize the land fortress.

    We were also contemplating using a Colossus (think of it as a giant, armored Gorilla) to throw an APC at something for a sort of deployment method.

    and this should hold over the naval forces for a while.

    lots of nerf involved here,
    interceptors pretty much need to move up to their targets in order to enjoy the benefits of their arrays but they are more than welcome to attempt ranged fire [with a penalty]

    cruisers take a blow to health, but are given primary rail guns that act as their main fleet combat weapon. Fleet ships of this size are also given a damage reduction 1 which gives it an overwhelming advantage against most ballistic fire [things like rails or lasers however dont reduce damage]

    Motherships are also held to the same health limitations and since both it and the cruiser are so big, infantry are incapable of doing damage to it at this point without first inserting themselves to it. [see: 2 sizes higher dont do shit to giants rule]

    inversely, predators' rate of fire is toned the fuck doownnn
    but are given an extra stock of health. missiles are sped up and explosions are a damage factor to missiles.

    How does the medic work?

    So you push and pull enemies and allies with that thing, but only 50%-60% of the time,

    And you successfully heal 50% of the time,

    Can your revive disabled units?

    Should you be able to move friendly units 100% of time as if you need to move them too then heal (assuming you get 2 actions) which would other wise decrease the chance of a successful heal to 30%

    the medic has 2 actions for whatever they need to do with them.
    they can heal 2 dudes
    push 2 allies
    pull a dude and push an enemy

    heal a dude and push an enemy

    pull an enemy and heal a dude

    or heal the same dude

    someone made an effective method for dealing with their critical action combinations by using IF THEN action.

    IF Medic succeeds to pull an ally, then heal

    IF medic fails to pull an alley, then pull again

    etc.
