Well the way I brain it. We only get 1 minion at a time and we get a token one to start. The first big horn we find we use the Boot sector to infect and try to bring under our control as quickly as possible. So the starter minion we get will be replaced by the first thing we tame. You have one, that you can later choose to ditch. As you become more powerful, you can gain more abilities such as another control virus. Note on the Boot virus, it turns infected programs into more boots viruses, like AIDS. So you can infect a big nasty enemy virus, and turn it into another Boot.
