To summarize, it seems to me that the plan of attack is thus:
We will register seemingly authentic dwarfy characters. These characters will all be "Free Dwarves" or free peoples of other races such as humans, orcs, half-orcs, and goblins, though the primary focus of players should be on dwarves. These characters will not be warriors, for the most part. They may have combat and survival skills, as is the necessity in such a harsh place as the streets of Chel'el, but we are tradesman foremost. Craftsdwarves, ironmongers, cooks, miners, managers. Dwarves who get shit done.
>Phoenix' Eye: >South of Raveran, not far from the road leading to Chel'el'Sussoloth, lies the lava lake Phoenix' Eye. The caves around the lake are dangerous, as the lake often floods, and to the eyes of a Drow the area is much like a real-life version of hell. Rumour has it something lives within the molten rock, but these rumours have never been substantiated.
This is where we plan to embark. A hazardous place for the Drow, and far enough from their precious clan city to avoid attention too soon, conveniently safe from the meddling ways of the Val. The whispers shall go out in the streets of Chel'el, calling all free non-elven people to embark, against risk and certain peril, to seek freedom, freedom from the gutter, freedom from being trodden upon by the dark-skinned overlords.
This, gentlemen, is how it begins. Not with trumpets, and not with promises of gold and silver, but with the quiet whisper of freedom.
Strike the earth. |
