Fair enough.
You tell him to get up and come with you, promising to help him rebuild his Legion and stick a boot up Horus' ass in the process, as you escort him to the medbay. Along the way, you encounter a number of your own marines, and you can't help but admire their self-control at not jumping his ass and tearing him to pieces.
As you enter the medbay, you can see Corax lying in a bed, his armor removed and a number of tubes hooked into him, with Vulkan sitting next to him, similarly clad in just a robe as he monitors his brother's life signs. You and he both know that it's unneccesary, since the machine will alert the apothecaries if anything goes wrong, but it seems to help him keep his mind off things. Standing at the foot of the bed, as a sort of honor guard, is what you realize is one of the surviving Iron Hands marines, a sergeant by the looks of it. |
