I received from a random loot table a sword.
Ever since I found it, the sky has been described by the GM as, "Gray." "Drizzly." "It is very dark, and windy." "Dark." "A roiling sea of twisted, mocking clouds." "Overcast." A tempestual madness born from the loins of some dark, Plutonian nightmare drempt by men of old, before they had such comforts as fire, or steel to delude themselves into thinking they were safe." "It's raining." And so on...
Every night, whoever stands guard, at the end of their shift, they have to roll 1d100 for something. So far, no one has rolled under 23, and nothing bad has happened.
All of our supplies have rotted, and several party members have woken up screaming, because of their dreams. My character hasn't had any dreams yet, and the others refuse to talk about theirs.
Also, my character has started hearing voices.
And for the past few weeks, every time we go outside of a town, we get attacked by all sorts of weird shit. Like, a giant crow made up of crows, a grotesque, shambling thing made of rotting meat and mud, and a bat with no head, and a giant mouth on it's underside. It ate one of our horses (-10 horse points), before we drove it off with fire arrows.
I think the sword might be bad, should I tell the rest of the party about it? |
