Hate to hijack this topic like an anarchist, but I myself am having a problem with this new TWOFISTED TALE I purchased.
Its called the Tomb of Tutankhamen's Horrors and the players have been doing really well, managing the indigenous diggers, etc. They even managed to decipher the riddles, which was quite easy given that two of the party were Adventurist Archaelogers. They even managed to overcome the Opium of Death hidden in the mouth of this one statue.
But going on, they're upset that when they opened up the sarcophagus, and promptly sold the body to be ground up into medicinal powder, a quick Derringdoo check was made to see if they resisted an unseen curse. This one minmaxer named Cartwright passed, but this one guy who was making me multitask him being in Albion...some Earl of Carnavon or somesuch, he failed even though he wasn't there. So I had him take a hard Motorcar test and he failed and in due course died.
Am I being a diabolical Frolic Meister, or is this good behavior for when the party disturbs ancient burial grounds cursed by Egyptian priests? |
