A random island generator, with elevation, watersheds, and 3D modeling.http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~amitp/game-programming/polygon-map-generation/mapgen2.swfMakes me want to run a pirate game.
That's pretty sweet. Totally using that for my Windwaker campaign.
fucking awesome, going to use this when i create my own board.
Now it just needs a hex layer option and we're good to go.
>>14291982Oh you.Pretty cool find OP!
what program are you guys using to open the file?
So, this is pretty cool. I'm going to have to explore the functions a bit, but I might be able to create a fun game using this. Any fun controls or uses this has?
>>14292015>Oh you.those are not six sided
God damn is this cool. Definitely going to use this to make an island for use on a quest.
>>14291936I think I love you now.I can archive this (since it's awesome) but suck at choosing relevant tags (the joys of being drunk off my ass). Any suggestions? I'm guessing "GM aid/resource" for starters.
>>14293858MAP or ATLAS
Oh shit, check out the 3d slopes for a rotating 3d map of the island.
>>14293890Right, that's cool and all, but how do I save that?
The only problem I have is that all the islands seem to be very mountainous, there aren't many flat plains. But with them being small islands, I guess it makes sense.
>>14293903Well you could copy down the numbers that say which map it is so you could come back to it. Or you can just print screen and then copy it into something else to make an image you can post.

Off the top of my head, two awesome uses for this:1. Jurassic Park RPG.2. Creating islands for a Traveller ocean world.
