06/20/11(Mon)15:12 No.15330025Don Tweedle/Tweebot Donthousand is my ranger for a D&D game IN SPACE!
Don was a mechanical engineer employed by a mining company to look after one of their fully automated mines on an asteroid. When the company went bust, he was left behind on the asteroid with only machines for company. He was there for three years before rescue came for him in the form of his family. However, by the time they found him he was irreperably insane: he now believed he was the last of a race of robots called the CuBorgs (there's a funky stealth pun for those who know their periodic table in there about a certain cider) who had been wiped out by humans some time before so he stole his family's ship, left them to die on the facility and flew away to start a robot revolution. He now travels the galaxy with a protocol droid with a sense of humour (Jeeves) and an unnamed robotic prostitute he "liberated" from a brothel trying to drum up support for his revolution.
Don doesn't wear clothes on a regular basis, as he believes himself to be a fully operational CuBorg combat robot complete with shoulder mounted missile launchers, a pulse rifle in his left arm and full armour plating. Needless to say, this is incorrect on all counts: He is actually a short, emaciated, entirely hairless 40 year old human male with a particularly amusing psychosis kept alive by Jeeves who feeds him intravenously while he stands in his recharging cubicle (a hollow in the wall with a shiny box that he puts over his head).
I fucking love this guy; he's by far the most fun character I've ever come up with, though I have to give props to my flatmate for the name Tweebot Donthousand. |
