    Why hello there gentlemen.

I hope you are comfortably and ready enough to hear the next installment in the Saga of Silon, the tech-priest. Now, I cannot continue providing links to the stories of the past as the first half of my story would be nothing but links. I am assured, however, that they exist on the sup tg archive and are there for your perusal at any time you find convenient. Now, it has been stated that Silon is headed for a bad end. I can say that the end was not what the DM had expected, and certainly angered some of the party, but it was more or less predictable for Silon. You see, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to try my best to get closer at least to wrapping up the story of Silon without missing any of the details.

Last time around we had been given a Cobra Class destroyer that had been significantly upgraded by the Inquisition for the purposes of the mission at hand. Now, Silon was immediately put in charge of the Enginarium, partly by 'Sister jules' wanting me out of the planning phases of any operation, partly out of the DM wanting to find something for Silon to do aboard the ship as the tactical considerations of tracking down a renegade Admiral were beyond him. He was perplexed that there was not a more senior adept of the machine cult aboard, but he did as he was told and made certain to familiarize himself with such a . . wonderful machine.

Sister Jules laid down the law, the Inquisitor had put her in charge and was considered Killed in Action at this point in the plot. Silon queried whether or not that was how things worked in the Inquisition - heredetary promotion scale and so on. Silon was ignored. We moved on with our mission at hand, using Jules's newfound promotion to command the ship. We went to this planet, which was our best lead on the Rogue admiral, as this was a haven for pirates, mutineers, and other people of low social station. Apparently, we were informed, that the Pirates and Mutineers had established a sizable hold on this planet and were gathering an army to overtake the sector.

I suggested using our newfound Inquisitorial powers for good, by suggesting that we "Bombard the site from orbit, it is the only way to be certain to accomplish our mission." Silon was ignored, as per usual, and the party showed strain at being shangaied away from their fun. We were told to suit up and ready ourselves for a stealth drop onto the planet, and that we would only be picked up when we had accomplished our mission. Now, I am not a perfect human being by any means but I made the suggestion that the DM change the way money works for the sake of our adventure at this point. Mainly, we get requisition points . . or something similar in order to get what we wanted from the Inquisitorial Armory. Instead, we were told that we would have to buy them. Well, I didn't argue. I wanted to but I kept my mouth shut.

I took one last look at my character sheet to ensure I had all of the upgrades to Silon I could get (we were given another great increase in XP, and as such Silon was becoming all the more machine.) and we all readied for the planetary drop. The planet, upon landing, was described as tolkein might describe a likeable SCA-imagined medieval fantasy, what with villagers doing their work and nobles strutting around speaking in olde-english, or in our case, olde-gothic. Mordeci went about trying to get us some attempt at a disguise, cloaks or such so we could trump around and look like those gentlemen from the beginning of Brotherhood of the Wolf. Jules strutted around and immediately began to address the crowd, informing them of who we were, our mission, and asking as to the location of the enemy.

Naturally, this resulted in a fight as this village was certainly that of the enemy, or so the DM decided just at that moment. The sister displayed an amazing skill with a newly acquired powersword, something that surprised me as she was crap with combat skills, or so I had been lead to believe. Devi leaped on one of the chieftans/nobles of this village like he was the last chopper out of nam, while fishhooking him something fierce she chopped him down with her axe. Mordeci made steady, certain shots with his bolter and terminated targets as quickly as the DM had them arrive. Silon was more perplexed that such a backward place could exist than he was that they were in a fight and as such his combat skills weren't terribly useful as he simply wondered around the village looking for any sign of technology, any sign of that reassuring smell of ozone. Now, he did fight just a little, embracing a few people here and there to inject them with lethal amounts of sedatives from his medical injector, or sling lightning about like some evoker in a completely different setting. I was pleased I had taken the skill/talent that allows a Tech Priest to be a powerstation without regard to exhausting oneself. I imagine Silon walking around, fingers cocked like mimicing a pistol while zapping enemies.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:32 No.15619925
After we introduced these backward folk to the superior technology of civilized parts of the galaxy, we took to trying to find a way to get to where the 'bad people' were. Now, Jules suddenly had this map that one of the nobles had on them, a big fat scroll of parchment wrapped in silk cord. This map said, in no uncertain terms "You are here...bad guys here..." and we would have to find a way to proceed toward the bad guys and stop them, somehow. Yes our objectives were this vague, and any attmpt to better clarify them was met with a "let's get back Oscar Mike" by the gamer-girl. Having used Oscar Mike precisely twice in life, I find the saying a hallmark of those who consider themselves "operators" and discuss the finer points of killing impliments as though they had some clue. I find that when you need to know something about the horrors of war, it's best to ask someone like Teddy who, under contract, was a highly saught after corporate combatant in several theaters before losing his wealth in the market crash. It is sad that in that line of work you can't precisely just 'go back and earn more', as it does burn you out, chew you up and leave you more or less crippled for life. In my case it was my leg, but it in his, well, nobody sees hell and comes out fine as fresh linen.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:35 No.15619950
Pardon the tangent, but I thought it mattered to set a few things straight concerning combat. Now, the problem of crossing overland in this land of medieval stupidity required us to do something like trying to get horses and then proceed to have a dozen adventures crossing the wild tundra in search of our enemies, fighting off noble lords and such. That was the seed he tried to plant into our mind as we ended the session. It wasn't until next week that I had a solution, as appropriately as Silon could muster at any point. I understand that on occasion, I will find myself living through my character more than is strictly necessarily. Silon came to me with a solution as Jules was beginning to lay down a plan of raising an army and crusading across the planet. Mordeci was arguing that we should have brought "A fucking vehicle with us." which was ignored. Devi minded her silence and looted the village clean, finding little money and less equipment.

I asked the DM "Show me the map."

Apparently he was surprised, and overjoyed as he actually had a map of the planet down to the little baronies and kings, their heraldry, army numbers and so on. I traced a line on the map and asked "Is this a river?" and the DM said yes it was. The River went from roughly where we were to less than 30 miles from our destination.

    YAY more Tech Priest!
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:37 No.15619968
I then told the DM "I want to make a tech use test."

I wanted to manufacture something, I explained. The Dm looked perplexed but I explained that with all of my tools, equipment, cybernetics and such I should be able to construct rudimentary mechanical devices with access to the appropriate materials. The DM didn't seem to like this but the whole party perked up, save for the Sister. I stated that Silon would use any pressure vessel - a copper still would even work, to create a simple steam engine with boiler and then assemble a paddle-boat for the party to go up river. Immediately the party began to gather equipment and supplies, tearing things apart. Jules said that we weren't going to do that, we had to crusade and fight for the Emperor's Glory. Silon, naturally found this to be illogical and ignored the suggestion that we delay taking the fight to the true enemy for sake of something such as glory. Jules tried to threaten Silon and that didn't work. She then tried to seduce him. That, also didn't work (Chem Geld does have uses, it allows you to get away from shitball DMs/players trying to pull crap like this instead of writing a story). She then put a gun in his face and said that she wasn't going to take dissent within the party. Devi stood ready to 'fishhook the bitch' (her words) and Silon instead decided to make a combat med-use test.

Had she not burned fate points willy-nilly on pointless things, she might have been able to resist but I got my way and sedated her in the face by injecting her forehead with a massive dose of something a bit more powerful than sleepy-time-tea. She fell asleep and her player huffed, the DM explaining how the mechanics are "totally broken on stuff like that, better let it just go for now." And there was a smile between them, but I didn't think much of it at the time. I would later understand, and then make them both very mad. I'll get to that. Stay patient.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:38 No.15619972
So, Silon passed every tech-use test, including some at -30 due to "Primitive materials" and "Bad conditions" and "Unfamiliarity with steam." I didn't argue, I just passed the test and soon enough we had a paddle-boat. I made a smaller raft and put the sister on it, and then seperated our boats by a hundred yards of good rope. I wasn't going to have someone so blatantly anti-steam-boat on said steam-boat and then get angry at said steam-boat-captain. Myself. I will admit that growing up where I did, the old south, that I have a certain love for the idea of being a tugboat captain. I have always said that if I could, I would, but I realize it's no real way to make a living. A man must have his romantic fantasies, though, and so Silon was the paddleboat captain on this medieval world. He was enjoying himself all too much when the sister came to and became very angry at us. She tried to pull herself even with the boat but failed the tests and ended up having so sit on the raft, or as I called it, the HMS Pity party. The Dm wasn't pleased we had circumvented the whole 'huge fights for no reason' on this planet, but he had the good graces to 'roll with it' instead of shipwrecking us out of nowhere. I suspect he realized we would have quit at that juncture and just left the game alone.

I know the lyrics are crass, but it is a catchy tune. Related to my mood at the time://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7yfISlGLNU
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:42 No.15619996
Now, we did eventually arrive at our place (two sessions later), after having navigated a long and eventful river journey reminisecent of the travels of Marlow up the Belgian Congo. There were moments where we had to effect repairs, scavenge wood, food, fought a stupid greek style row-boat (made easier with the use of a flamethrower), and even a duel with a local lord who refused to let us go until he had dueled us. It was apparent that the duel was supposed to have us win, then be jailed, then be given release on condition of . . fighting off an invading army. However, Mordeci blew the man's head off and Devi cut down any man who even suggested we were under arrest. Jules was ready to duel but no duel was forthcoming. There was a slaughter however, and Silon did indulge in some electricity channeling in order to assist the party's hastened escape from DM-stopover land.

As we arrived at our place, we were stopped by some bloodied and beaten remnants of humanity that identified themselves as Mutineers of the battlefleet Calixis. Before Jules could ruin things with a silly fight, Mordeci passed the test to let them know he was here to join them with his ruthless band of marauders. I was introduced as "El Exigente" which I believe in spanish means "The demanding one." It sounded official enough, we all got silly nicknames but help me if I can't remember them all. We were lead into the encampment of the Mutineers where we found ourselves a billet and began to plan in quiet. The mutineers were digging something up deep in this strip mine, more and more were joining. There was excited talk of a relic. I naturally assumed this was bad news and then wrote something down on paper for the DM. He found my suggestion eye-wateringly bad but allowed it, and having Silon silently sneak for once was an interesting development. I went off on my own mission of 'fail-safing' our situation while the party planned on what to do. Everyone spread out and here is what happened.

Devi - Rolls average. People ignored her and wouldn't answer any queries whatsoever, saying "You know, the object!"

Mordeci - Rolls well. Other than small chatter, he hears nothing.

Myself - Busy with sabotage. Rolling average.

The girl gamer Jules - Rolls poorly. Comes across an old crone who has remained pure despite this encampment, is a prisoner, and is dying, spreads news of Jules coming to save the world and bless everyone, the heroic Jules would set everything right and be celebrated as . . well, you get the idea. Chosen one. Yes. Also, this old lady fills her in on everything.

So we are told by Jules that the Battleship let loose a lot of their dregs on this planet and charged them with digging something up, to be rewarded in time by the Admiral. Sure, sounded . . reasonable I suppose. They were told to dig up this object that would allow someone to open a warp-gate to anywhere, and even tap open the webway as need be. I questioned why the Eldar wouldn't have blown something like this up, but I was informed that the Eldar didn't know about it. I returned to being in character and showed up covered in grease, oil, and other things. I was wearing coveralls and holding a tool-box, my hat had vanished and when Mordeci asked about it, SIlon seemed touchy, saying "Query not the location of the hat." (He had lost it in a wind gust)
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:49 No.15620050
So, we would naturally be blowing this site to hell, right? Well, not exactly. Those in opposition to Orbital Bombardment were two, see, Devi saw the logic in stealing this thing and then luring the Admiral out with it so we could fight him on a ground of our choosing. I can't say that the idea was a poor one so we made an attempt to find the device and steal it. Cue us finding working equipment and going down to the mine-head proper. Silon supervised, as digging by hand was certainly beneath him. Servitors existed for that. After a bunch of tests and avoiding the scrutiny of the guards/overseers, we found nothing. At first, anyhow. Silon soon found a mining rig in a state of disrepair, fixed it, and then rode the beast into the mine, shouting for all who feared the might of the Omnissah to clear a path. Those that didn't were crushed and the mining machine soon started carving into the rock. Then we hit it. The machine died very suddenly and any attempt to repair it was met with "The machine spirit recoils as though in the presence of something unholy."

Naturally, we investigated what the machine had struck and found a pendant about the size of a large coin. It had resisted the impact with the mining machine and had come out completely unscathed in any measurable way. Naturally, Silon started playing with it, attempting to unravel its secrets, if any. The only secret it offered was shocking Silon and making him drop it. Jules picked it up with no problem, feeling "That it seems to want your hand and no other." The DM made a face at her and I made a face at him. He didn't see said face as he was busy trying to impress his flavor of the week.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:54 No.15620089
There was another pause in sessions after this point, but when we returned to game once more we found that we had been surrounded in the mine as the overseers had seen Silon's Mining-rig-surfing incident and assumed Inquisitorial agents at work. The overseers were a few dozen men all armed with shotguns and wearing naval armor with the Aquila stenciled out. Now, a smart person would have tried to find a way out underground, as the DM intended us to do. I had another idea. Silon broadcasted a want for "Parley" as we had what they wanted.

Their leader came forward and met with us, and I let him talk for five minutes, I questioned him on this or that, we showed him the object. All the while, I informed the DM that I was going to mimic him and was gathering the necessary samples of voice. When the time came, Devi cut the man in half and his honor guard was felled. Jules wasn't happy. She played no part in this grand scheme of ours. I broadcasted to the outside, speakers turned to full, in the Overseer's voice that "False alarm, we got them, return to action stations." And, barely squeaking past the test, we resolved the problem. With some grumbles, Jules called the pickup shuttle, and we got in. Jules, apparently briefed ahead of time by the DM as to the chain of events said "oh, I see interceptors chasing us." Apparently we were supposed to have a shot-doown scenario and be stuck on planet a while longer, the army-fighting scenario apparently still on the table.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:56 No.15620113
Silon said to her "Sister Jules, are you aware that the mining operation was sustained by a Class nine Fusion reactor?" She said "so?" In that way a woman does to let you know you're boring her, or talking nonsense. Silon pressed into her hand something metallic and said "Those are its safeties, the Reactor should be going Critical any minute." Sabotage accomplished, the reactor blew and covered our escape. Jules and her player huffed at the 'senseless loss of life' and Silon inherited some insanity points for having destroyed a piece of high tech equipment, no rolls to oppose.

There was another pause in sessions, and finally the DM got us together at his house to "Finish this thing once and for all." In preparation we were given a boatload of experience and allowed to purchase weapons from the armory we would need. Silon was more or less ninety percent metal and carried still a simple laspistol. He had no need of fancy ordnance. His toughness and intelligence were off the scale, and every limb was replaced with gleaming cybernetic implants of the best quality affordable. He had all of the mechadendrites save for the ballistic / optical pair and the MIU. Mordeci now had a best quality bolter and fine carapace armor. Devi wielded a pair of chain-axes and looked menacing. Jules now had somehow acquired psychic powers and had a force great-weapon. Don't ask me how, I didn't miss a session, she just had it. Now, we were preparing to jump back to Scintilla and meet with the conclave concerning our new toy when OUT OF NOWHERE this battleship jumps on us and starts fighting us. Having played battlefleet gothic I know this to be pretty silly, but I went along with it. We were chased around, they gaining on us (for some reason) and we had to try to come up with a plan before they grabbed us. Emergency warp jumps were ruled out by the navigator who told us that the Warp was suddenly very turbulent.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:57 No.15620119
Now, the rest of the party suggested we just try to ram them and try to board the bridge to kill the head of this conspiracy before we were in turn shot down, a sort of glorious sacrifice. We were all willing to die with a bang to end the game, but Silon decided to make a tech use test. I passed, barely, and excessively (-50) difficult tech use test and used the Teleportarium to send over a Torpedo, inside their hanger bays. An internal explosion of extraordinary magnitude rippled through the battleship and knocked the shields down, but still it gained on us. Seeing no way around this, we prepared the ship to ram at a rather ridiculous speed and as it was coming about, Jules said that we need to split up into strike teams in order to better reach the Admiral. I had a better idea. I teleported her to the bridge of the Admiral's battleship, against her will and against the want of the DM but the Dice were mine now. I was the master of tech use tests at this point and I doubt anything could really stop me in those regards.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)01:57 No.15620125
The rest of the party queried if she was alive, and Silon informed them that he was almost certain she made it alive, but whether or not she is still alive is beyond his ability to estimate. The party laughed, said "Finally" in character and so on and Jules huffed, hopped outside and soon the DM went to follow her. They were out there fifteen minutes and when she returned she had a smile on her face. So did the DM. We, as a party, felt slightly uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable, rather. So, the Cobra came about and we stabbed straight at the Battleship, attacked by what close-in-defense turrets were still working. We took a beating and managed to smash into the lower part of the bridge, Cobra ruined, back broken, and we began in earnest our final battle. I was allowed to choose the music, and as such I had brought my Led Zepplin Mix (Ramble on, Battle of Evermore, Going to California, Kashmir) and Dark side of the Moon. We combatted the enemy that had spilled over onto our ship to Ramble on.

They came in huge swarms, big ones, small ones, fat ones, skinny ones, all with bad teeth and matted hair. They wore naval uniforms and used a variety of weapons, some had hooks and meat cleavers, others had boarding hooks, some hefted whisky bottles and others still were armed with sharp combat knives. There were a few of them with proper weaponry but this was a disorganized rabble. It took its toll. Devi was cut down after 45 minutes of brutal fighting, going out with a spear through her ribs. She cut down so many people and burned fatepoints until there wasn't much of her left standing to keep alive. She died noiselessly, face down in a dirty corridor. Mordeci and I observed a moment of silence before moving on.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)02:05 No.15620182
As we neared the bridge we ran into slightly more difficult opponents. The earlier rabble had been used to deprive us of ammunition and when we encountered the carapace armor wearing naval security troopers we were almost overwhelmed. I found that Silon was virtually indestructable even without much in terms of armor, having a total damage threshold of ten. I tried to keep us moving forward but we had rabble nipping at our back and these tactical assholes in the front. We fought hard and took many down but we were running low on munitions. Everything was running out, medical care was expended, and we had to make a run at the exit. We made a mad dash at an elevator and Mordeci was mortally wounded covering me. He made me promise to deal with the Admiral, and then went out with a grenade in each hand, yelling at the Naval security team to take him down.

After a that tactical puzzle, we were on the tail end of Dark side of the moon, nearing the masterpiece that is Brain Damage and Eclipse. I rode the elevator and was greeted by Jules, and the Inquisitor we thought was dead, and the Admiral. The bridge was empty save for them, the servitors and two naval security troopers. Silon slowly walked forward and the Inquisitor laid it out for us while Jules (and her player) sat there looking smug. Oh, how we had been such interesting pawns in the game.
    >> Peg-Leg Dave 07/18/11(Mon)02:09 No.15620207
You see, he had us go after the Thule syndicate to try to get closer to this artifact, the one he was now holding in his hand. Apparently the Thule syndicate traded in proscribed items and we were supposed to find out more about this warp-gate amulet. But then he couldn't wait and had an admiral go rogue under orders to recover this item having suddenly found out where it was. Now, that he had it, he spoke of how we were going to use chaos to fight chaos, and that someone like me should have been smart enough to figure things out. The Inquisitor was some sort of notorious radical and Jules was his assistant. I had silon put one hand on the wall, which contained a terminal, to steady himself as I made it appear that it was all a bit much for him, in reality I was preparing for my next move. It went down like this.

Silon asked the Inquisitor and Jules if they were augments in any way, and had any augmetic parts. They both said that they weren't, and that true power laid through items powered by the warp. Fine. So they shouldn't be able to breathe hard Vacuum. What happened next was rather quick.

I burned my fate points to accomplish the following:

1 - To establish a death grip using my manipulator arm upon the Bridge superstructure located behind me.

2 - I would like to blow the explosive bolts on the Bridge emercency airlock door.

See, at this point the DM looked over the map he had drawn for this final fight, a map now situated between all of us. He tried to erase the door but Devi and Mordeci, or rather their players voiced strong dissention. What's fair is fair. I had passed the tech use tests to circumvent the computer failsafes. It is wonderful to have mechadendrites at your back where none may see their happy work.

So, the DM grumbles and rolls dice. He then asks Jules's player to roll dice, and the gamer girl does NOT understand at first. This wasn't what was discussed in private, afterall. Jules rolled and failed miserably. She had no fate points left. The DM hurriedly pounded through the book, working his thumb raw in the process. He then sighed, lowered his head and described Jules, the troopers, and the Inquisitor suddenly being violently ejected into the freezing embrace of space. Jules tried to "Jump back into the ship" and rolled some dice, but the DM said that there were no rules for that.

Devi and Moreci informed her that's not how space works.

Jules's player tried to beg, saying "But, you aren't going to let it end like this, please baby."

I looked at my DM, and said "Well, are you going to let it end like this, baby?" I smiled, my party-members smiled. Jules left the room, crying hysterically. The DM said that "That is enough, okay, you win."

And so, I must say, that in the end, by DM ruling, Silon won Dark Heresy.

I choose to believe then Silon vented everyone aboard he battleship and sent the message that the fleet has their battleship back.

    He's got Swagga.

The girl seemed like a sort of self insert, not quite powerful enough to be a mary sue but considering she had a power weapon and psychic powers I assume she wasn't far off.

And if she was a mary sue then you sir ecplisped her with your pure awesomness without resorting to complete bullshit.
Sudden unexpected stuff but not bullshit. Silon is like the Macgyver of the 41st millenium.

I loved how you shut her down! Your story made me laugh, parts made me cringe, made me punch the air but above all made me want to get back into Dark Heresy as a player.

Well friend, between reading the Black Pants Legion blog, The onion and a few other things online I really don't have much to do online but game and visit here. Naturally, I'll return in time and tell another story or two when I get the chance.

Silon isn't over, friends. That dark heresy game ended, but he came back when I played Ascension in a 3 month long campaign that . . resulted in chaotic-awesome. Magos Silon is still alive and kicking.

You know, someone should DM a game of Mechanicus Explorating team. Could have the usual careers, combined with the homebrew Skitarii career, but instead of answering to an Inquisitor, it's a high-level Tech-Priest. Fewer psykers, moar metal people.

Devi's player went to Graduate school and lives in Oregon somewhere. Mordeci's player went off to pursue some sort of job offer overseas and Jules, well, she "RPs" on second-life and World of Warcraft. She gained a tremendous amount of weight and now has a diabetic insulin injector in a fanny pack. Sad thing, really. The DM doesn't anymore. He just paints his intricate armies and doesn't ever talk about the game.

You broke his spirit. Which was the only logical course of action. Silon would be proud.

I already DM one of those.
    Everyone starts with 1000xp
Everyone could only play techpriest and to keep things simple I just said Skitarrus were Gaurdsman.

To keep in the theme with being part of the machine cult everyone was given one of the following:

2 free upgrades to any bionic bits they already had.

    or

1 free bionic part of your choice, common quality (Of course non-techpreists can't have mechadendrites.)

I didn't think anyone would want to play this campaign figuring that the rules would seem to restrictive...... five sessions later and I was proven wrong.

You'd be surprised how many people like to play a focused game. For instance, a fair bit of people got really excited when I announced Deffwotch.

Well boys and Girls, I need to be getting away from here for a bit. Some time in the future I will tell another story, I have a few. Silon's continued adventures for one, a rogue trader game with a terrible DM as well, and a Pathfinder game that went sour, quickly.

    Deffwotch sounds AWESOME!
I assume you have Batul Bargus?

    >>15620358

Oh I still rail road abit, since they take orders from a Magos it's easier but I try and make it subtle and try to make the story as flexible as possible. Once I was really afraid that I was railroading too much but when I asked them about it they told me I wasn't rail roading them but rather I was good at backing them into corners every now and then which they liked since it made the game feel lethal.

I figure, different groups like different things.

Right now, the players are going to start with a Repulsive-class Grand Cruiser, which is not unprecedented - the Carcharodons use the Nicor, a grand cruiser, as their HQ. It will also be able to purchase orky upgrades from the Merchant.

I also plan for incredible things to happen to the ship, which I'm not going to spoil.

If you have Gorka Morka I reccomend using stuff from that as insperation for upgrades unless you already have a list.

Please tell me paint of various colors including red are upgrades?

Well, right now I'll be using the upgrades in BFK. I also look forward to hearing the players' ideas on upgrades.

In terms of player upgrades, I am adjusting the starting talents to allow for different concepts, and allowing orky upgrades to go on their looted weapons.
