    Feylorn continues to use his godly powers to raise parts of the second island into the sky. Looking upon the land, he desires a messenger of his will on the planet. Crafting him in his own likeness, the messenger Jarek is cast onto the original flying island, transforming the immediate area into a vast, permanent hurricane of wind. No flying creature of earthly birth could possibly survive the tumultuous climate. Could they? A vicious breed of non-sentient avian predator, the Schreean, is quickly proven to be the only form of animal life capable of surviving in such conditions, and they do so by feeding off of each other and any other creatures stupid enough to venture near the borders of the maelstrom.

    Sort of accidentally the points last turn. to clarify, I was sitting on two points from the turn before that, so that turn I had 5, and this turn I start with 5+11+2=18 power.

    Agrippa exhales a powerful ice storm on to the northern most land, crafting an icy landscape of snow and frost. Certainly uninhabitable by those without the proper knowledge of surviving the cold.

    The messenger Jarek is lonely and so Feylorn creates him a companion race. The Faeries are thus born of the floating islands (both sets of them), spending their days carelessly telling tales, singing songs, and dancing in the clouds.
    However Feylorn grows tired of their lack of desire to advance as a civilisation, and so he creates for them, in the swirling vortex of wind Jarek had previously instilled upon the land, a tome with which the Faeries will be led. However, the vicious wind tears the tome into a thousand pages and litters them throughout the cyclone, and it becomes a great event for a Faerie to bravely venture into the harsh lands and survive the Schreean predators and successfully bring back a page from their great tome.
    An order dedicated to finding the tome so that the Faerie race could advance using its contents was created, known as the Followers of the Fey.
    In the meantime, Feylorn continued raising land into the sky.

    The world passes into the second age, the Age of Civilisation.

    Finishing off the flying island continent, Feylorn was pleased. Not wanting to isolate his children from the rest of the world, however, he made sure that there was a bridge from the top of the highest mountain in the West to the edge of the second Faerie island.

    Through his mouth, Jarek, he instructed the Faeries to create the first great city of the world – a collection of wooden treetop houses called Feyranthia. The Followers of the Fey led the construction, the knowledge coming from the collected pages of their tome teaching them how to work wood and stone into usable forms.

    From the volcanic depths of the southern mountains, an Avatar of Kroth emerges. A towering Steel Colossus, which immediately begins carving a strange city into the cavernous depths of the mountains.
    With the completion of this city, Kroth creates new life in this place, in the form of the Dwarves.
    Upon its new sons and daughters, Kroth bestows knowledge of metallurgy.

    Torrmal observed the world and he knew what was coming, the Minotaurs and the Faeries would not be the last of the mortal races, more would come and he had to prepare for it.

    So he sent captcha down into the desert where a city would be built. Eventually the city stood ready, but also empty. For no race did yet live in the land surrounding it, none besides animals. But that suited Torrmal just fine, for eventually people would move to this ancient stone city and settle there. And when they did they would fall to the curse of the black city.

    Whoever claimed the city as their own would gain a talent for magic, but this would come at a price. For that people would be cursed to forever be sought out by all manner of monsters and phenomenon. Beasts from the sea of sand, spirits from beyond the grave, these were some of the things that would be attracted to the masters of the city. And only if they survived this would they be worthy of gaining the city and the gift of magic that comes with owning it.

    Seeing the world as it truly was, a raw and unfinished rock, Labos created the race of man to transform the planet. He imbued these men with a drive to conquer, explore, and build so that they could spread across the world and turn it into a marvelous effigy of creation and industry. The first humans lived in the grasslands of the eastern continent, but they would not remain there for long.

    Amongst the new race of man, Labos founded a priesthood of artisans, architects, and blacksmiths. These worshippers were instructed to travel the lands of man and promote industry above all else. He told his followers that only by refining the natural elements of their new world could their race become great. In time, the priesthood of Labos would spread to other races, but for now only man recognized the organized glory of labor.

    Knowing that the Faerie people are both naïve and innocent, Feylorn commands Jarek to build them an army. Led by the Followers of the Fey, the army is at Feyranthia. The Followers teach the city and its army about the use of iron, a practise they have learnt from reading the pages of the tome collected from the whirlwind.

    To the north, the West Island Faeries have become different to their Treetop Faerie counterparts. Rather than being jovial and carefree, they have devolved to be carnivorous and cannabalistic, and those who were not in possession of such aggression were killed around the bonfires of the West Island Faeries.

    The West Island Faeries are led by the Council, an elite group of warrior Faeries who teach that the Faeries should live on the ground, not in the trees like savages. As such, the Treetop Faeries become mortal enemies of the East Island Faeries. Their conflicts darken the skies between their lands.

    While fighting from treetops against land folk, Treetop Faeries get a +1. While fighting with iron weapons (ie, armies from Feyranthia), they get a +1. They are still at 0 alignment.

    Torrmal saw the air elementals become born from the winds coming in from the west. He hadn't expected a race to find the city so quickly but with the other gods making their mark upon the world it was inevitable.

    He observed the race, young, without any gifts other than their lives and the magical talents all those born in the black city gained. He nodded to himself as he felt the curse take effect, and the monsters of the land become drawn to the city, he sent Captcha to aid them in building a great library in the city, to endure should their race perish to the challenges ahead of them. Torrmal saw it was done and was pleased, for the lessons curses bring should not be forgotten.

    And then he turned to the mountains in the south there the dwarves had their mighty halls. He saw the masters of metallurgy living carefree lives and knew his gifts were needed. But he didn't think they yet deserved a true curse, so instead he entered the city and found a lone smith. He watched the proud dwarf hammer away at his latest masterpiece, a sharp sword, still undecorated but quite well made. Torrmal let his smile reflect in the sword and bound a curse to it, the smith almost dropped the sword as he saw Torrmal's reflection but saw no one as he turned around, so he went back to finishing the blade.

    Once it was done the smith delivered it to its new owner who thanked the smith and paid well for the blade. As the smith had left he thought he saw a face reflected in the blade but just like the smith he was unable to see whoever had appeared on the surface of the sword. So he shrugged and returned home, unaware of the curse that had just befallen him.

    For all who saw the reflection in the blade would be cursed to suffer the worst of luck until the next time the sun or moon had hidden under the horizon. The smith went home to find his smithy robbed and the owner of the blade died in a battle. But the blade remained, ready to curse whoever stared to closely into the reflection of the blade.
