!!Cuw+lR6NxOH 02/29/12(Wed)01:47 No.18145802>>18145697 The Auror who Legilimens'd things should start bullshitting with our Shadowrunners. A combination of inside knowledge, and how to USE inside knowledge, should get us a good plan.
Meanwhile, Aurors should attempt to Scry for Teleport interdiction doohickeys, to get an idea of where they are, assuming we DON'T know from our Storm's dedicated scanners, and from mindreading corp employees. Even if we DO know, it may help to be able to view the rooms, see what sort of defenses they have set up.
Commander Data - let's assume there was a power generator in a building. What sort of things would you need to scan, in order to learn where that generator is located? Would it be sufficient to note the EXACT phase of the alternating current used in the building, down to nanosecond accuracy, to get an idea of how long the wires are from the generator to that point? By doing that on wires on the building's outside, we'll learn what points on the building's outside are closest to the generator, and we can triangulate exactly where the generator is.
What's the Layout of the digsite? Is it your typical "Buildings with workers and security guards, a perimeter fence patrolled, and a big digsite in the middle that's as cramped as possible, so it's not strongly guarded"? Is it open to air, or does it have a roof over it?
Moreover, where does the digsite get its power from? |
